Aria had been working for a while now; each day she would spend a bit of time in her little office working away. Normally when a new tome was found it was just brought to the library; at least it was in her time. She remembered her father spending hours restoring each book by hand. It was something she had learned to do as a part of her studies. So she didn’t see why she couldn’t restore the books she had taken from the Dwarf Ruins; along with making a copy for herself as well. So page by page she set on restoring; after she had freshly inked the pages she would then copy them down in a blank book. It took hours upon hours to do. When she came to a page that was hopelessly faded; Aria would take out the book this Saden had given her, and scribble out the page she wanted to know about. The information that had been lost would appear; and she would restore the book from there. Aria worked on these for months; it was approaching summer by the time she had finally finished just one of the few tomes she had collected.
Aria took her copy of the book and placed it on an empty shelf on her library. Her shelves were pretty much bare; except for the other older tomes that sit on a separate shelf. She’d begin restoring those next. But for now she took the original she had just worked on and wrapped it up in oil skin paper; and then placed it in a satchel. She would take the original restored copy to the grand library in the second district. She’d sneak it on the shelf where it wouldn’t be out of place. That person would notice it there soon enough anyways. Aria wouldn’t keep any of the original works for herself; she thought those treasures belonged in the grand library. But she would keep a copy of the books she collected and rescribed herself.
Aria had her hair tied in a loose braid with small baby’s breath flowers braded in; she was dressed in a simple ankle length lavender dress with a form fitting bodice that showed off her small waist and a loose skirt. The dress itself was very simple and only had a very small gold floral design along the edge of the fabric. She had on simple black flats to match. With her bag backed she went outside and whistled for a drake. She mounted and flew off to the portal that was on her island. She hopped off there and took it to Nova. She then made her way to the second district to the library.
Once there Aria would go find the section to store the book away in.
