Character Traits
Hair Color/Style: Kiaden like his twin brother Alden has short deep red hair; it is almost black in color with a red hue. Like his brothers it is cropped short and close to his head. Often it is sticking up in odd directions here and there.
Eye color: Bright green; like peridot gems. His identical twin also has the same green eyes.
Skin Color: They have a deep olive skin tone; common for those who were born in Kanto.
Body Type: Both twins are tall and fairly lanky with the well-toned muscles of a gymnast. They stand at 6’8”, and are quite proud of their height and ability to still move as gracefully as they do. Due to there half phioric heritage they are stronger then they look as well.
Clothing - Detailed Appearance: Both twins prefer to show more skin then not when possible. When lazing around their new home; they tend to dress in a more Kanto like fashion. Wearing loose pants with colorful prints. They will usually go topless; but are a huge fan of most things shiney. They always wear two gold bangled necklaces. Each solidly wrapped around there neck. These necklaces were made so they would never come off. They also usually wear a series of earrings in their long pointed ears. The twins certainly look more phioric then human; they have strong jaws, and triangular heads. There features look more elven then human.
When not on the island; and or when the time calls for it they will dress a bit more appropriately. Adding a sleeves jacket to their outfit. Often both twins attempt to dress identical; just to mess with people. It takes a very keen eye to be able to tell the twins apart. That or a keen nose.
Personality: Kiaden is the youngest twin being born fifteen minutes after his twin Alden. Kiaden loves his brother; often the other one knows what the other is thinking without even trying. Which is handy for when they are doing their acrobatic routines. Kiaden is the more mischievous one out of the twins; if there is trouble he’ll find it….how Ironic they found Aria. Anyways Kiaden lives to be amused, and to push the limits. He loves doing dangerous stunts; the more thrills it has the more fun it is. He has a quick temper; and would often jump the gun if it wasn’t for his more down to earth brother. He is a dreamer at best; and a huge romantic.
Kiaden is also fairly easily distracted; he’s the equivalent of ‘OH SQUIRREL’ If it wasn’t for Alden he would have trouble keeping on task; preferring to goof off. However at heart he is a good guy; he’s extremely sympathetic often wanting to help others who are in need. He’s the moral compass of the two, having a strict complicated moral code. However his code isn’t black and white; but more greyed….just not as grey as his twin brother. He doesn’t like to hurt people out of maliciousness; but he will bring a world of hurt on someone he thinks deserves it. When both brothers are on the same page and you’re on their bad side the end result can be nasty.
Kiaden is a dooer rather then a thinker; he likes to make things up as he goes. He his extremely quick and adaptable; if things don’t go according to plan his specialty is making things up on the fly. He is always convincing his brother to get into some kind of trouble. It was his idea to join up with Palico to learn how to ride drakes. Kiaden is the creative one; if it’s a weird out of the box idea, then it probably came from him.
Likes: Water; Kiaden unlike his brother loves water. If he could live in it, he would. If there’s a puddle you can be sure he’s in it. To him water is almost like a recharge; he loves when it rains so long as he can be outside enjoying it and not stuck inside. He loves any kind of physical activity; often he’s the one digging in the dirt for his brothers plants. Kiaden also loves sweet and sugary things; along with anything spicy. The more spice the better. He loves reptiles, it was this love that made him drag his brother to Palico in the first place.
Dislikes: Riddles, smelly feet, bitter foods, over bearing people, the color and the word mauve. The list could go on; but the thing he dislikes the most is sitting idle. He has very little patients and doesn’t see the point in exercising it on nothing. Such as being cooped inside if it’s raining…more so since he’s not a huge fan of reading like his brother is. He does not like to be separated from his older brother; as they are a team and they stick together like glue.

Spell/Ability Two: Water Manipulation- Novice- Kiaden is able to manipulate water, he’s able to move it to where he wants, he can get the water pressure hard enough to where it acts as a suitable whip when he wants to. But mostly he will use it by pairing it up with his brothers plants; by moving the water inside the plants, both twins are effectively able to make a more complicated attack together.

- Swingy Thing; Ok coming up with names is not his strong point. However this weapon he is highly skilled with. It is a hand held sickle attacked to a long chain, thick enough to support his weight. On the other end a hook; he often can attach this to branches or other object and use it as an anchor point to swing from place to place. Being an acrobat this makes his fighting style extremely effective. The hook is also weighted so it can pack a punch. The sickle part of his blade thanks to his brother has a mild paralyzing poison that will completely numb a limb that has been hit with the blade. Often an opponent will bleed out before they realize that they have been injured.

Biography
History: The twins were born on the first day of Sato; their mother being phioric while there father was human. Their mother was in a Kanto bar; observing the humans daily rituals. She was a highly respected warrior in her clan of sea dwelling phiorics. However humans at that point in her life were intriguing; they weren’t especially liked due to the filth that they poured out into the sea but they were intriguing non the less. During her observations she was unknowingly slipped something which resulted in a one night stand with a particular charming mage with a knack for plants from Nova. Shamed for the incident she returned back to the phioric settlement; more than happy to forget the whole thing. It wasn’t until her belly began to swell did she realize that forgetting would be impossible. In their culture halflings between and elf was acceptable….but to a human? In desperation to hide this fact their mother tried to force a miscarry; her plans were discovered and she was stopped. Phiorics regard new life as something very precious and her crime earned her a banishment from any phioric settlement for life.
Full of anger she blamed the plant mage for her banishment; he was the cause of her crime. Thus before the twins were born she set out for revenge; he ruined her life so she would take his. When the messy deed was done she returned to Kanto; her belly swollen with twins she did not want. But a spec of her still respected the ways of her people and could not bear to bring more dishonor on herself. So she went through with giving birth to her two twin boys. She raised the boys; but she did not love them. She had strict rules; forbidding the twins to play or associate with humans and often put them through rigorous trainings that pushed there halfing bodies past their limits. Thus there childhood was spent with schemes trying to get out of their mother’s ridiculous demands. However they did owe their physical prowess, and weapon knowledge to their strict mother.
After raising the boys for thirty years; their mother did come to care for them. However her praise and affection was hard won and came very rarely. It was a tough day when the twins broke tradition and left the family at only the age of thirty. Plenty old by human standards but by phiorics they were still young. Their mother however continued to keep close tabs on them; even after them leaving. The twins at thirty joined a circus as acrobats. They wanted to travel; and this was a perfect way to do so. They stayed with the company for decades; their mother coming to check on them every now and then. Their company became well renowned and began to travel to other kingdoms as well. The highlight of their career was when they were able to travel to Nova and preform for the king. They had reached sixty years old at this point; obviously taking more after their mothers side when it came to the physical aspect of things. They both didn’t look a day over 26. It was during this tour that tragedy struck and a dark truth was revealed. Their mother when she came to check on them was arrested for the murder of the former head of the Arch of Ages. Apparently the phioric had been wanted for years for her crime; there mother was sentenced to death.
They stayed with the company for a few more years; their hearts no longer in it. When the company reached Palico the twins decided to make for the phioric settlement hidden in the norther forest, past Palico’s borders. They were welcomed more or less; they were allowed to stay and they were adopted. Still considered too young to be without a parent. Their new family was kind enough; but they could not help but feel pitied due to their half-blood state. When they turned 150, their adoptive parents were very understanding when the twins expressed their wish to leave; however they were not to pleased where they decided to go off to. Their relationship is still a bit rocky with their adoptive parents due to this choice.
After they left the settlement they joined Palico’s Army. The rigorous training reminding them of their old mother. It was here that they met a young phioric by the name Aria Wurud. She was to be their new commander. The woman was strict; and her skills far surpassed that of a normal phioric. The twins were intrigued by her. She worked them and didn’t blink an eye at their hijinks and attempts to humiliate her. After all who wanted a phioric who was younger than them to give orders. However her attitude reminded them so much of their mother that the Twins quickly began to respect the woman. That respect soon turned into loyalty. They learned that she was a half breed like them; though the twins still debate on what that other half might be. Most surprising of all they found out she was a lover of pranks; something that they had not expected from the strict slave master that was their dragon trainer. The more they got to know the woman the more they realized half of what she was, was an act. The twins soon became very protective of the young phioric.
During their training in Palico the twins quickly became Aria’s two best drake riders. They were the first on her team assembled to go to Nova when it was attacked and needed aid. Alden was Arias second in command. During their first official flight out to battle; their commander did something very odd. They knew Aria to be fiercely loyal; and not afraid of a conflict. Yet somewhere along the way she disappeared. Alden ended up leading the drakes into battle; and immediately after the fight ended Alden and Kiaden took off again to find their missing commander. Without any luck they returned to Nova to set up came. Alden and Kiaden had a fight in their own ranks on their hands; half of the group believed their commander had betrayed them. It took quite a bit of effort on their part to convince the team that their commander had to have a very good reason to do what she did. Aria did not show up until a day after the attack; looking worse than they did. They both knew something had gone horribly wrong; they pushed for an explanation but were given none. Hurt the twins distanced themselves from their friend. After a month in Nova they left to return to Palico.
Four months later their tempers cooled; and the hurt subsided. Word that Aria planned to stay in Nova reached them. It would seem King Silas had another project for her; a new commander for the army had already been trained and had taken over. The twins soon decided to take a flight back to Palico to see their old commander. The Aria they soon ran into was a bit different; sadder in a way….they soon got their explanation…and an offer. Much to their horror they found out that Aria had been pregnant while in Palico; the reason she had disappeared from battle was due to a miscarriage. In the red mist; it meant that Aria not only lost her child but had to end its undead life a second time. It was tragic; but it also shed light to why Aria had acted the way she had. They soon asked why she had chosen to stay in Nova; the answer she gave was equally as shocking. Aria explained she was the leader of a select group of people; and if they wanted to they could be a part of them. Intrigued by the lack of information and the promise for more the twins agreed. After the mark was placed of them they were told they were now a part of the Thieves of Nova; along with the secrets that the position held.
Long story short, the twins soon were hired as Aria’s personal guards; and servants. The transfer of job was accepted by Silas, and going forward they will be moving into their new home on the Isle of the Lost.
