Take Two on Fating (Tag: Eterna)

It had only been one day since the double fated and she current sitting downstairs in the large common area. Across from her was the white-haired female who goes by the name Eterna, as she watched the female she wondering how she felt about everything that has happened. She was still dressed in her outfit from yesterday and had already checked on Aqua she was still sleeping. “Well Eterna-chan, a lot happened yesterday,” Nyx stated as she folded her hands over her legs. “I didn’t get a chance to sit with you and tell you much about what happened to you.”


Nyx gave it a few moments for it to soak in and for Eterna to come up with any questions of her own that she may want to ask. “Here’s more or less what happened. You have been selected by the God Fate which is why you are in this world. The reason for it is unsure of yet but I am sure it’s to make the world a better place.” Taking a deep breath, she looked into Eterna’s eyes. “Sadly, you are not a mage so I am not sure if I can show you the way to the mage school but I can provide you with a map to town if you would like.”


“Now Eterna-chan might you tell me a bit about yourself and your skills. It’s so I can give you a few suggestions on what you can do in this world to earn a living.” Her voice soft as she explained that she only wanted to give her some advice on what she can do in this world. Depending on the skill given she might have to direct Eterna to seek out Kail since he would be more knowledgeable on that subject.

It was a day since she came to this world, Eterna somewhat figured the simple parts of what had happened. Since she had experinced it many times before she was not completely confused at the matter at hand "Yeah i'm sorry about yesterday as well, it was a pretty big misunderstanding." 

Smiling she looked at Nyx "Don't worry too much about it, being in different worlds i'm somewhat used to starting again. and yeah it sucks that my current body can't handle magic." She was wondering if she spoke about things that Nyx wouldn't quite understand. "A map would be nice, and I can do many things just as long as my body can keep up with it, but for the most part I'm pretty good with a sword and I can play a violin pretty well as well." Eterna smiled as she tapped on the case she had on her back which held both her sword and violin.

"I do wonder though about the culture and religion of this world, I don't recall any world similar to this in my past lives" Eterna honestly told Nyx.

Nyx shook her head. “It’s my fault for the misunderstanding. Normally we don’t get two people coming to Nova within minutes of each other.” She said offering an apologetic smile to Eterna.


She did raise an eyebrow at the fact that she said that she been to different worlds, though she did question what she meant by her current body. Did she have a different body before this it brought up so many questions but she wasn’t going to voice them now since it wasn’t the time for that. Nodding her head when she said that a map would be nice also that she was good with a sword and could play the violin. “I can make you a map. Hm.. if you are good with a sword then heading straight to the city would be better for you. If I recall right there are looking for people to join the new guard forces if you are interested in that. I am not sure if music makes much money in this world but it is worth a try.”


“The culture of this world is bit strange and I’ll need to know more what you want to know about the culture to give you information, though I can tell you that this world is mainly made up of humans from what I have seen so far. As for the religion of this world, there are nine Gods and Goddess each is equally important.” Nyx explained as she looked at Eterna thankful that she was calm about this whole matter.

Eterna listened to Nyx and smiled “Don't worry about it, I wouldn’t blame you with something like that happening” Waving her hands side to side she tried to brush it off.

“A map would be great, and well if most of the people in this world are like you, I may have some problems” Eterna had a grin on her face as she looked at Nyx “Near the end of that encounter I’d probably be trapped if I made a false move right?” Eterna spoke about the water bubble that aqua shrunk right before everything was sorted out. “Well either way looks like i’ll find my answers at the town on that.”

“Well main thing would probably be if there were monsters in the world, and if religion was controlling the world culture wise. It seems like this world religion is based on multiple gods so probably not” Looking at Nyx, Eterna clapped her hands together “Sorry you’re probably getting lost with what im saying right?” Eterna said as she realized she was rambling at this point.

[Nyx]

“I’ll make a map for you before later tonight.” She did laugh a bit thinking how this world be even harder for everyone if people were like her. “Well, I get a bit protective when it comes to someone being. Well, it depends if you had made a false then you might have been wrapped in water.” Nyx smiled as she spoke honestly. “But the people are nice in town as long as you don’t mention that you are fated.”

“There are no real monsters I mean they are beasts in the forest but no monsters. Well, the different gods do pay a role and religion. Though I can tell you that this world believes in equal rights for both male and females. I am not sure what else I can tell you about this world.” She said and just shook her head. “It is okay I got most of what you got.”

“Okay so just don’t mention i’m fated and im good then?” Eterna smiled and looked at Nyx. “And that’ll be great, I don’t really know how i’d repay you for this though Nyx. By chance is there any way for me to contact you?” Looking at Nyx, Eterna felt that they would probably get along pretty well in due time. “I’ll probably stay here for a bit longer before I head towards the village Nyx so you’ll know where to find me.”

Nyx nodded her head and thought for a moment if there was a way for the female to contact her. If she was in her normal world she would have given her her phone number but in this world phones weren't even invented yet. "Well the best way to contact me is to send a letter to the Arch of Ages since I live there. Give me one moment." She said and got up and left the room. She would come back a few moments later with paper in her hand and an inkwell.

Sitting down in the chair across from Eterna she pulled out one of her fans and started her chant with the paper and the inkwell on her lap. She brought up an image of a map she had saw of Nova and allowed the ink to flow from the container to the paper making up the outline for the map before smaller detail was added that included Nova and the Arch of Ages. During this time Nyx would be solely focus on completing the map as she kept the image of Bane off the map as trees and some rivers started to get added to the map.

Eterna looked at Nyx when she mentioned about the letter and when she was creating a map “ Oh okay then, and that seems fairly convenient being able to make a map like that with magic hm?” Eterna smiled as she watched the ink get absorbed by the paper to form a map.

“Its too bad this current body of mine is unable to use magic for the most part, it would had been interesting to see this Arch that you mentioned before.” Eterna recalled the arch mentioned a few moments ago. After mentioning it Eterna sat down as she waited for the map to be completed.

Nyx only nodded her head at first as the smaller details of the map was put into place adding in the other two kingdoms besides Nova and the hot springs. As the map as done, she took a small breath as she looked over the general world map it wasn’t the greatest drawn map but it was readable minus it didn’t have the maps of anything just pictures. “It is convenient but the truth behind this spell is that it takes it from my own personal memory. I saw a map of a world a while back when I was in the library so it’s why I can do this.” She said as she picked up the quill ready to write in the names of the places when she remembered she didn’t know if Eterna could read Novian.



She looked up at the female and took in some of her features she had the body type like people of her own world along with some recognizable facial features seeing no harm in it. “By chance can you read Japanese.” She asked in Japanese since it was easier that way to see if she could understand her.

Eterna listened to what Nyx said about it coming from her own memory “Oh so it does seem to be somewhat difficult to really pull off, though since its off memory it could have some mistakes right?” Eterna said as she was looking at her.

“Japanese? Yeah though I didn’t think anyone here would know about that language in this world” Eterna replied back smiling.

“It is sometimes my memory can be horrible and I draw the wrong thing but if I focus I can get it done.” Nyx said as she picked up map looking over it. Everything was perfect it looked just like the general map of Nova and Bane was no where on the map either which was good cause if she messed up on that she would have had to burn the map and start over.



Hearing that spoked and could read Japanese did bring a smile to face and it made labelling the map a bit easier for Eterna to read. “There are a few of us here that can.” She picked up the quill and started to label the different places on the map. Starting with Nova since that was the biggest city, before inking the Arch of Ages in with small notes on it being a mage school and small village, next she did the hot springs and the last thing she did was the forest. Before handing the map to Eterna she added in the compass. “It’s just a general map of the world in case you get lost you would have a rough idea where to go. I can show you how to leave and enter Bane before I leave tomorrow with Aqua. Just remember that once you leave here don’t mention that you are not from this world.” Pointing to the placed labeled Nova. “This the main city you can head here it’s just east of here and about a two to three-day trip.” She said while also waiting to see if Eterna had any questions she wanted ask her.

“That does sound slightly inconvenient” Eterna said with a slightly rough laugh. Hearing that there were a few more people that could speak it Eterna smiled. “Is that right? I didn’t expect it to be too big a thing since if i'm understanding it right you’d have to be a fated to speak japanese over here unless you were taught by another fated.”

Listening to Nyx explain the map and where they were she looked and smiled “So Nova its called? I guess that’s where I’ll be starting my new life hopefully hm? And don’t worry I won’t mention that I’m a fated. Though I hope nothing really gives it away then” Hearing that it would take probably two to three days Eterna looked at the map for a bit “2 to 3 days huh? Guess it can’t be helped since it’ll be on foot.” Eterna took the map from Nyx and smiled “I’ll head out tomorrow. Seems like the faster I get there the faster I’ll be able to get started with this new world. Truely thanks for all your help and hopefully we’ll be able to keep in touch Nyx” Eterna did a short bow towards Nyx and smiled.

“There are a few natives of this world that can speak it not just some fated.” Nyx said softly at Eterna happy to have someone else around that spoke the language.



“You are welcome Eterna. Just be safe on your trip I do hope that we can meet again.” Nodding her head she turned and looked up at the clock, it was close to noon, standing up. “Well I better get going I have to talk to the other one.” Flashing Eterna a smile she headed towards the kitchen to make a light lunch for Aqua.
