Nyx had already talked with Eterna earlier in the morning right now was carrying a tray up to the room that Aqua was resting in. Her wounds weren’t too bad but she didn’t want to start travelling given that the child was weak from being fated over along with the fact that was hurt and her magic was cut to that of a beginner mage. On the tray was a bowl filled with a hot beef stew with bread on the side and bread and a glass of lemonade. Using her foot, she pushed open the door and entered the room, moving across the room she set the tray down on top of the table.


Walking over to the bed Nyx took a seat and look at the person under the blankets. She gave the female a gentle shake as tried to way her up. “Aqua-chan lunch is here.” Her voice was soft as to not cause a panic in the female if she forgot the events of yesterday. “You need to wake up little one.”

Aqua heard a voice awakening her from slumber. "mother?" she said half asleep, rubbing her eye. Upon realization she saw it was Nyx she sat up in her bed. "Oh forgive me I thought I was still dreaming." She immediately surveyed her surroundings and remembered that she was not in Haven anymore.


Upon seeing the tray of food that she assumed Nyx had brought for her, her stomach growled. Aqua's face immediately turned red 
" I'm sorry, that was incredibly rude of me. thank you very much, and Oh!  please call me Aqua. its the least i can do after all the hospitality you have shown me thus far"

"You shouldn't move too fast Aqua-chan you might reopen your wounds." Nyx sighed she swore this girl was worst than her own sister Tara who she missed dearly at least her sister wouldn't have caused that much of a headache.

Giving the blue haired female sometime to adjust to her surrounding. She didn't even comment when the girl's stomach rumbled out of the need for food. Getting up off the bed she when and got the tray and placed it over Aqua's lap. "You should eat up Aqua-chan. It's okay it's my job to help out newly fated I been there before and know how hard it is. Now I don't mean to be rude but do you know how you came across to be hurt?" She asked since thinking back to when she was fated over Fate and stepped in befor she could been hurt and brought her to this world. It made her wonder if Fate wasn't able to step in and pluck the girl from her world before she got hurt. Either way she would have to ask Kail if anyone else has come though that was hurt.

"Now we didn't get to talk much but I wanted to tell you a bit about your opinions in this world. Since you are a mage you can come with me to the Arch of Ages though you would still have to apply like any other person to be accepted as a student." Nyx said since she been though the power lost upon entering this world. "You don't have to but it's an option for you. If you don't want to do that I'm going to need to know a bit more about you in term of skills and then I can give you some suggestions on what you could do in this world to make a living." She said not wanting the girl to think she didn't have other options in this world.

"Im not sure who attacked me to be honest, Its not accounted to some of my memory loss i remember it vividly."- She added as to not cause confusion. "It was strange,  from his build i could tell is was a man however his face was covered in shadows." she trailed off as she stared into the lemonade, she was upset those bad memories are the only ones she could easily recall. " And i dont think my memory loss is caused by being "fated" over" she said. "Do you remember seeing those lines of dark magic that came off me during the altercation at the alter? that has my world's magic written all over it, powerful dark magic to be exact"


As Nyx had asked her about her skills. "Well Im good at fighting, and I also have a natural talent with music dance and song" She pulled out her lyre to show Nyx. " And while I do not mean to be rude, im forever grateful for you helping me, but i have no intentions of staying in this world. Id like to return home when my wounds are healed." She told Nyx while making full eye contact. " Im the next in line to rule my Kingdom, and i need to find the person who did this to me."

Nyx nodded her head as Aqua recalled to the best of her memory what happened before she came to Nova. It seemed like the poor child was attacked by Selky but Selkiris was in this world and didn’t have the power to travel to different worlds that she was aware of. She let the little one say her piece since Nyx knew that the most memory loss any fated had was transcending the worlds. “I had sensed some dark magic but I couldn’t see it. You should eat a little before it gets cold.” Encouraging the female to at least eat some of the food instead of staring at it.


Nyx pinched the bridge of her nose knowing that she had forgotten to tell the little one something. “This is my bad but sadly Aqua-chan you are not returning to your own world. Don’t you get all high and might on me because you are a princess and you must return home because you don’t know the situation that happened to some of us fated. First, don’t give me that you guys haven’t even tried I am sure, cause trust me unless you have the power to transcend worlds and dimesons you are not going anywhere.” Pausing to take a moment to so that she didn’t start crying and yell at the female. “Second don’t you think most of us want to return home but we can’t do anything about it; we are all stuck in this world and have to do the best we can to survive until our mission in this world is done and we can return home.”


Standing up Nyx walk towards the window and looked out a few moments as she blinked away the tears thinking of her family, of her sister who she last saw was about to be hit by an energy ball and her watching helplessly as she gets whisked away to another world. Closing her eyes, she prayed that her sister had lived and was taken care and her mother knew that she was alive and well. “As I said you don’t have to go to the Arch of Ages, based on what you told me you can get a job working for the militia of this world. I am not sure if music, dance and song will get you far in this world so I suggest you do something that will put a roof over your head. Also, before you thinking that because you are a princess in your world that is transferred over into this one it doesn’t. For all that most people are concerned is that you are a dirty fated commoner and if you die no one would bat an eye.” She said as she thought back to the event when Helena had bought a horde of fated undead to attack the city no one other than fated like herself cared that so many of they kind were killed to supply the army of the undead.

" I see..." She accepted what Nyx had said to her about crossing worlds. She looked at Nyx who seemed to be rather upset. " I wasn't going to try to leave.  If you told me i couldn't, if the gods made it this way its for a reason." an awkward moment of silence filled the room " trust me, im not the high and mighty princess you think i am " she said somberly. " From what little memories i have left i only remember doing what my father told me and when it wasn't that, it was class after class. Combat, manners, magic, how to be a proper ruler. All my free time i spent in a library reading about other worlds, adventures hero's would go on." trying her best to smile even though Nyx could tell she was upset as well.

As she wiped a tear off of her face, she dipped the bread in the stew and ate a piece of it. "Its good.." she commented on the food. after another pause she began to speak once more "Ill go to the school, If im going to live here, i need to regain my magic and learn as much as i can of this world." 

When she saw that Nyx had become upset and tried to hide her tear. She finished her food and put her plate to the side and got up to stand behind Nyx. Aqua's wounds were still there, but they had healed a little bit  now that Adkir's medicine and her bed rest had done what they were supposed to have done. She hugged Nyx from behind in an attempt to comfort her  " I know you probably think im a spoiled brat who doesn't know anything about anything, and hey for all i know your probably right. but if there is one thing i do know is someone who act strong for so long, they forget who they really are.."

Nyx watched the ongoings in Bane from the window as Aqua spoke her hardly paid attention to what she was saying. Her mind was on her family and how short of a time she got to spend with them and her last happy memory of her sister was walking her home from school that same happy memory lead to one of her sadness memories. She closed her eyes and blinked away the tears as she finally tuned back into the world around her in time to hear Aqua said that the food was good.


She only nodded her head and would have to tell the chef when she took the tray back down into the kitchen. “That’s a good decision. If you are healed enough we can leave tomorrow morning and head to the Arch.”


Nyx froze a bit when she felt hands around her she relaxed a bit since it felt so familiar to when she with her sister. Closing her eyes, she listened to Aqua and almost laugh wondering how she taught that she was trying to be strong. She had already cried over the lost of her sister and her family that now it was just another pain that she expressed when the feeling became raw again. “Trust me I can never forget who I really am. I am Nyx produce of an angel and human. Soldier to the God of Chaos. A rare mage even in this world that I can die if I don’t use a medium to channel my magic.”

She stayed silent to listen to Nyx's words and shook her head in agreement."Yes that is WHAT you are, but is it WHO you really are or want to be Nyx?"

Not wanting to go on because she began to get emotional " well enough of this for now, I believe that by tomorrow i will be well enough to travel to the arch." she turned back around and sat in her bed

" What should I prepare for when i arrive to the school, will there be an entrance exam i need to pass?"

“Trust me I would love to be a soldier to the God of Chao again.” She said as she turned to looked at Aqua. “I know who I am; trust me. Just this world isn’t the one where I can truly be myself.”


Nyx looked over beyond Aqua and saw that she had finished her food for the most part and only the lemonade was reminding. Walking back over to the bed she picked up the tray and carefully took the glass off the tray leaving it on the night stand. Seeing that wasn’t much else to say she was about to leave the room when Aqua asked her if she needed to prepare anything and if there was an entrance exam. “For the trip, you don’t have to prepare anything I’ll get those items for us. For you to arrive at the school, I must leave you in the village while I talk to the headmaster, since you missed the spring entrance exam. I’ll have to see if he is willing to give you a test in private.”


Her hand reached for the door pulling it open. “Oh, if you want to visit Bane before we leave you can. Just remember you need to be up early tomorrow.”

 "That sounds lovely Nyx, id really like that" she said now excited for the trip. "Ill be sure to be up bright and early" she said knowing that she is a heavy sleeper and probably wouldn't be awake until Nyx came.
