It has been two days since she left Bane with Aqua, most of the journey had been peaceful minus day they had ran into a few novites they had ran into. Nyx was thankful that she had done a quest where they had to deal with them mostly they just ran but this time she threw a few fire orbs at them while running along the path with Aqua. Honestly after that most of the trip had been uneventful for the most part and she answered any question Aqua might have asked while on the trip from what she could expect at the school to what she knew about the entrance exam.



As they came upon the border of the village that surrounded the school Aqua would see golems walking around the grounds like guard patterns. As they continued to walk though the village she would see some shops that sold magical items along with mundane items as well along with potions. The closer they got the school the smaller burst of magic she could see from people flying, to some children playing a game they created with air magic everyone would look happy and at peace as they enjoyed the little free use of magic they were allowed given how magic is seen in most of country.



“Follow me Aqua we have to head to the headmaster’s office.” She aid as she lead her towards the large tree that sat in the middle of the village shading the village from much of the sunlight as it filtered down in between the branches and the leaves creating little spots of sunlight where a cat could be seen laying. Reaching the doorway that was within the bark of the tree, as she pushed it open she smiled at Aqua. “Welcome to the Arch of Ages.”

Aqua had ask Nyx countless questions during their journey about the school. When they ran into the novites she watched and took mental notes of Nyx's magic casting. When they would camp out at night Aqua would try and practice her magic in anticipation of the  exam. She learned that Nyx was telling the truth about her magic, although she was once a child prodigy back in her home world, she could not perform feats she used to in this world.

When they arrived to the village, Aqua was starstruck. She took watched the golems walking around the grounds. "How do golems work? Wait never mind i can learn about it in school!"  As she and Nyx walked through the shops she wondered how she would try to earn money in this new world. Maybe she could become a person to fight for the militia like Nyx suggested.

"Oooo what kind of person is the headmaster Nyx?" before Nyx could even answer it, she saw it, The arch of ages. "IS THAT THE SCHOOL?" she said as her jaw hit the floor. she stopped for a moment to take it all in. It was only when Nyx had told her, "Welcome to the Arch." that she realized she had to go in.

"So another angel has lost there way" said Kaguya as she was allowed to stay at the Arch for the moment as a guest. Since there was going to be a lot of paper work to be delt with as well as other kinds of red tape. She was adventuring around the town to get use to things and the people around her. She had a small basket in one of her hands filled with a few things. Some clothes since she only had one set with her as she was just warped in from her world ending. As she was getting a few things, she sees Nyx and someone else. From what Kaguya understood though, that there were two people that delt with people coming into Nova. Or thats what Nyx had mentioned to her or said. So when she saw Nyx coming back with another person that was dressed a bit oddly. But not out of line with the people around her or this world. So with nothing much else though the pink haired girl would greet the two. She did not have anything else better to do at the moment.

Arthas had been coming back into the school himself after running some personal errands. He looked over the crowd and spotted a familiar splash of white among the crowd. He wove his way through the crowd and over to Nyx and it seemed she was with some company. "Hello Nyx, did you pick up another girlfriend?" he asked with a joking tone to his voice. He had found that it was kind of fun to pick on her from time to time though usually he didn't push too hard with any of his jokes.

He looked over at the blue haired woman with her and his eyes turned gold as he turned on the aura vision filter rune to look over the new one. The gold faded a few seconds after it appeared and he found what he was looking for, "I see you went back to the delivery site and brought another one back with you." He was being vague about the fated status that he had given Aqua, "If Nyx didn't warn you yet I'm Arthas and one of the instructors here at the Arch." He also causally moved to put Aqua between him and Nyx just for a little added safety.

He wasn't ignoring Kaguya he just hadn't met her yet, though it seemed oddly bright colored hair was a popular thing in other worlds. He scanned over her as well just to check facts though kept silent about his findings for now. He looked at her a little curiously but nothing much was said otherwise. She seemed to know a few things herself so it might be fun to play it by ear with her.

[Nyx]

Nyx nodded her head when Aqua asked if that was the school. “As I said welcome to the Arch. The headmaster he is a nice man unless you miss use magic." She said in warning since she wouldn’t want to see another fated go down the ground of misusing magic and make life even more horrible for those who are trying to make a different in life. During this time she notice a familiar pink haired female and the pain in the but other mage instructor Arthas.



She shook her head at Arthas question about Aqua being another one of her girlfriends. She did notice the small glow of the gold in his eyes and knew was checking to see what the female was like her strings of fate. Nodding her head, “Yes she is a fresh off the boat and she wanted to learn some magic. I figured that if she was here it would be easier compared to her being hopelessly lost.” Turning to Aqua she smiled at the blue haired female. “Aqua this is Arthas he teaches rune magic and another magical combat at the school. This is Kaguya-chan she is also here to learn magic like yourself Aqua but missed the entrance exam so she been studying.”



Nyx did a look around making sure that no one was around them, seeing no one close enough but she wasn’t sure if those people who were in the area knew any magic that would allow them to listen to they conversation. She turned and flashed a bright smile at everyone. “Why don’t we all go inside we can talk in my room or my classroom?”

When Artha's eyes turned gold to look at Aqua for a second, their eyes met and her face turned red. She looked down and grabbed the length of her dress with one arm and curtsied " its a pleasure to meet you both, Kaguya, and Mr. Arthas. My name is Aqua Aingeru, princess of my home world, Haven." she went back into her normal stance and continued to look around the arch, she had never seen anything likes this back home, or at least what she can remember of it.

She turned to kaguya "I hope we can be friends" she said in a shy tone to the new girl she hadnt met yet and when she turned to face Arthas " And i hope i do well in your class Mr. Arthas." She added shyly as well, after Nyx had prompted them to enter her room or classroom she responded " Ill go anywhere you decide to Nyx, this place is beautiful, I've never seen anything like this before" she said with a sparkle in her eye.

When Kaguya heard the male voice speak up and she looked over at him and felt the man activate something and saw a minor gold glow in his eyes. Then the comment of the girlfriend did irk her and he would need to answer for the scan but that would need to wait. "They said they would be working on it. I think it was due to what I did back in my world. Who knows pencil pushers are all the same really" she said and shruged her shoulders and shook her head. Then she heard the blue haired girl speak up and smiled. She looked like a sweet one "Oh sure, I think we can get along just fine. If you can overlook my agressivness" she said and turned to Arthas. Her smile was there but the feeling of malice was growing behind the smile. It was time to assert herself as someone not to really take likely.

"Arthas was it? Would you kindly tell me what kind of spell you used on me and Aqua. If you don't I will break you spine in several places. Nyx knows what I did to stop a rampaging metal golem" she said nicely but it was laced with pure venom. She then cracked her knuckles a bit and she did not care if the guy was stronger. He would go down like the rest.

Arthas was a little disappointed in the lack of response from Nyx about the girlfriend comment but left it at that as she confirmed the status of the blue haired woman next to her. When Aqua coursied to him he gave her a slight bow before righting himself again. "Which class would that be?" might as well figure that out now as that information might be able to help him later.

He could sense the growing hostility in Kaguya but was leaving it be for the moment. He had to make a mental note that she took down a golem that had been rampaging through the town a little while back which meant she could hold her own. When she directed her question to him and threatened to break his spine any sense of amusement and friendliness vanished from him. His eyes were cold as he looked at her again, "While you may have taken down a Golem I can assure you that I'm a completely different matter. As for what was used I've been forbidden from discussing the rune or its purpose with anyone by Headmaster Adrian himself. If you don't like it take it up with him." The cold indifference that was coming off of him now was something that came from his ability to mentally detach from his emotions. While he wouldn't attack her for no reason but he would have no issue putting her down hard if need be though he doubted that would be easily done by any means.

[Roland]

“There you are Professor Arthas, I’ve been looking for you,” called a gruff voice as a man wearing a large black hat and long black coat that had its tail cut into long strips walked over. As the man approached a dull amethyst glow could be seen shining out from the shadow casted by his hat. He had several books under one of his arms and a traditional staff carved from white oak.

Roland had been guest lecturing at the Arch for over a decade at this point and while he had used it as a bit of a recruiting ground for the royal guard back when he had been the captain he still liked this place. He’d planned to enroll Jeon here if they had shown the talent but…well better not to think about that, he loved his daughter whether or not she was a mage.

As he noticed the others in the group he nodded to them. “I apologize for the interruption, my name is Roland Walker, it is a pleasure to meet you all.”

That’s a lot of magical potential on display. He couldn’t help but think to himself as he sensed the power coming from the group, but the unnatural hair colors, undiscovered talents, there were a couple of options but he had to wonder if they were Fated. Well not that it’s any of my business.

Roland did his best to give a reassuring smile, though he clearly seemed tired and a bit awkward.

[Nyx]

Nyx allowed Aqua to do some of herself introduction that were until the girl decided to let it slip that she wasn’t from that world. She pulled out one of her fans and smack Aqua lightly on the back of her head. “Child how many times do we have to go over this. You did not mention that you are the F word, be lucky that Arthas-san and Kaguya are like us.” She said as she placed her hand on her hips daring Aqua to try and say something. This reminded her of when she could spend some time with her sister and had to lecture her about her behaviour in public. “Remember you are not a princess. You a commoner cause if you start going on that you are a princess people will ask where you are from and if your country isn’t on a map or even if it is there will be questions that you can not answer. We can go over your story once we are inside.”



She was going to usher everyone inside when Kaguya and Arthas started going at it, she did understand a little where Kaguya was coming from and she also saw it from Arthas’s point of view but still they both were reminding her of children that moment. Moving to lightly smacked Kagayu on her arm then playfully poked Arthas lightly with the fan not to harm him from the pointed tips. “Both of you behave. Kagayu-chan he did nothing to yourself of Aqua.” Switching over to Japanese since it would be easier for her to explain. “Think of his spell as a way for him to know if you are safe to be around” She said before switching back to Novian and explaining what she said to Kagaya. “He also used it on me when we first met it nothing to over think. Now, how about we all head inside I can make us lunch.” She finished up with a smile only to hear another male voice.



She looked up at the sky and wonder which God or Goddess was playing with her little life right now. Between Arthas and Kagayu showing up and now another person who she wasn’t sure if this person was safe to talk about everyone’s status as Fated around or if he was one those that didn’t mind the fated. Either way, she wasn’t taking any chances and she gave one look to Aqua that more or less said ‘Don’t give any information unless I say it is okay.’ Nyx bowed her head to Roland. “It is nice to meet you, Mr Walker. I don’t think we have met I am Miss North a teacher here and this little blue haired one is my little sister she is visiting me.” She placed her hand on Aqua’s head and ruffled her hair a bit like she used to do to her own sister.

Aqua winced when Nyx hit her on the back of your head. "I thought it was okay because they already knew.." as she rubbed the back of her head. " and i dont know how to act like a commoner" she said while looking to the right pouting while Nyx went on to prove a point. 

As the strange new man who came dressed very oddly approached them Aqua began to wonder who it was,  Once the man introduced himself and Nyx introduced aqua she paused for a moment not reacting and then realized she was suppose to say hi. In a panic she smiled awkwardly and began to think to herself "Aye dios mío, esto es incómodo para hacer, espera ¿Realmente me presentó como su hermana?" ( Oh my god this is uncomfortable to do, wait did she just introduce me as her sister?)

Kaguya gave Arthas a withering glare and looked at Nyx without a glare after she did a light hit with her fan. "He could have talked or at least obeserved with out magic. If someone does constantly use magic to calculate there enemy. There more untrustworthy, and there character mired. I would not have made the threat otherwise, think over your choices again sir. Beacuse there might be someone that might truely take it the wrong way and crush you six ways to sunday" she said to the man giving him a bit of advice and well a warning. "Also Nyx you don't have speak japanise. I can speak Novian. It makes us seem like we are plotting something since we are trying to fit in" she said and then shrugged her shoulders. Then saw a new person showed up and he seemed like another teacher and he was after introducing himself to the group. Then Nyx speaking up which raised her eyebrow and then Aqua speaking spanish? This got her feeling a bit weird one out of everyone there.

"Ah well nice to meet you Mr.Walker" she said and gave a small bow to Rolland. As she was trying to be at least well mannered to the man. Since that was hard wired into her from her family and culture of her world.

Arthas had a feeling he and Kaguya were not going to get along and the other one Aqua was it, she seemed a bit dense. He let the poke from Nyx pass for now and left it be when she called Aqua her sister as it wasn't the worst on the spot story she could spin.

He half glared at Kaguya as she tried to lecture him on his behavior, "If you don't like magic being used around you then I guess you better find a different place to settle down. Until I have a reason or order to do otherwise I will scan those around me, don't like it go elsewhere."

His attention turned to Roland again, "Sorry about that, so what had you seeking me out Lord Walker?" His research at the city library had paid off in a number of ways one being able to recognize the lords and ladies of the kingdom by name. "If you would like I can join you in a more private place so we can speak more easily and these ladies here can go get settled."

[Roland]

Roland watches Nyx shoot Aqua a telling look before explaining the situation for the girl. Roland was pretty certain she was lying, which made his suspicions this girl was a Fated even greater, but he did not want to upset them or poke his nose into a situation that seemed fairly harmless on the surface. Things hadn’t been going to great for the Fated recently so he understood why they would want to hide.

With a nod Roland said “I am glad to meet both of you, though I do not think I caught your names,” he says to Aqua and Kaguya before turning to Nyx. “It is a pleasure to meet you as well Ms. North, I’ve seen your name on the teaching roster, so it is good to finally meet you.” Despite his calm demeanor there was a tremendous amount of mana and magical energy swirling around Roland for anyone who could sense it, though he seemed not to notice.

Watching Kaguya’s reaction to Arthas, Roland adjusted his hat and said “I apologize for Arthas, being a mage comes with its share of challenges, we tend to be an eccentric lot. Please don’t hold it against him.” And with that he turned to the individual in question.

“I don’t think we need to relocate, the discussion might be educational, but if it covers any areas your uncomfortable discussing in public let me know and we can go someone private.” He says a tinge of excitement in his voice. As he starts to speak the strips of coat come together creating a hand of black leather and taking the books from under his arm so he could gesture and speak easier.

“I am trying to prepare a large scale tracking ritual for a task I have been given. Unfortunately the only lead I have is old, I think I am going to need a powerful tracking spell so I want to try to go the ritual route. However, I am going to need to channel a large amount of mana so I was wondering if you knew any runes to either increase the amount of mana channeled, or even better, to amplify the mana or strength of a spell.”

[Nyx]

With Kaguya and Arthas having a somewhat heated agreement about the use of magic on another person she had to side with Arthas since this was a mage village with the centre of a mage school magic get used on people so often it was unreal. “Trust me Kaguya-chan if I as plotting something I am sure Arthas would know before I can even put the plan into motion. Plus, little one I did also explain what I said to you in the native tongue of this world.” She stuck her tongue out at Kagaya a little.



Nyx flashed Arthas a small smile thankful to him for trying to get Roland away from them since with Aqua being new to this world still. She closed her eyes for a moment wondering why Roland seem to insist on them staying there in the open even if it wasn’t something super secretive them standing in public talking could cause rumors to spread and as much as she would love to have rumors going about she didn’t need people poking they nose into her business.



“Well, Mr.Walker we were just about to head inside and have lunch. It’s been a long travel for my sister and I and I did promise her I will make lunch. Arthas and Kaguya were just about to join us. You are most welcome to join us if you wish.” A bright smile on her face but if anyone was to look closely they would see that it didn’t reach her eyes. Pushing open the door and giving a gentle push on Aqua’s back signalling for her to head inside, she would hold the door open for anyone else if they were entering before leading Aqua and whoever else that took up the invitation for lunch to her room that she shared with lucifina . “Hm… I wonder if she is home today?” Nyx said more to herself as it occurred to her that she did disappear for a few days without telling her roommate she knew that if the angel/demon was home she was going to have an earful.
