setting: short while after a magical place.
Aqua managed to sneak out of Nyx's sight to go explore on her own. "Im sorry Nyx but i want to do things on my own... I can only hope you understand" She said to herself while wandering the halls of the arch. She knew nyx would be extremely crossed with her but she didnt care, she had to learn to do things on her own. She stopped to ask the guard for directions and he pointed her to adrain's office.
She arrived a little later because she still somehow managed to get loss but she eventually found herself in the correct place, standing outside the door hesitating for a moment She knocked three times on the door "H-hello? Is this the headmasters office?" She said as she waited to be given permission to enter. "My name is Aqua Aingeru and i was hoping if i could have a moment of your time" she said, raising her voice with more confidence.
@adrain

Adrain looked up from some paperwork that he was working on when he heard an unfamiliar voice knock and and call out to him. Aqua Aingeru...a name he hadn't seen as of yet in his paperwork or filing. Granted the Arch had many students, so it was very well possible that this individual was a new student, but why would she come straight to the Headmaster's office for a concern? Nonetheless, he would see to this lady's inquiry at least.
"Yes come in." he replies, waiting to see the girl come in. Adrain would be wearing a black robe with gold trim and the Arch's symbol along the right breast and shoulders. His white hair was loose and windblown about while his amethyst eyes glew faintly from the power he held within. "I am afraid we haven't been acquainted." he says once Aqua comes in, his eyes taking in her visage momentarily before watching her settle. "Please take a seat and let me know why you've come today."

Aqua opened the door, and as she came in she closed it gently behind her. She looked around the office before gazing onto the Headmaster of this school. She studied him for a moment looking at the beautiful robe he wore. "Hello Sir" she went full noble mode to show respect to the man who would be deciding her future. She walked forward gracefully and quickly as to not waste his time. As she settled into the chair in front of her she took a moment to gather herself.
"Yes it is true we have not been acquainted yet, as i said previously my name Aqua Aingeru, and as for my reason for seeing you today..." She trailed off for a moment hesitating from her nervousness. "I'll get straight to the point as to not waste your time, I was hoping with your blessing I can join your school as a student." She waited eagerly and nervously for his response hoping that she wouldn't have to explain her situation very much.

He listens as Aqua makes her introduction, nervousness visible from space, he listens as Aqua made mention that she wished to enroll as a student. There was obviously an application process, and the entrance exams had very recently been concluded for the semester. He closes his eyes once she was done talking and exhales, keeping in mind his duty to the magic casters of the world.
"Ms. Aingeru, you do realize that we had just completed the entrance exams. I would like to ask why only now you are approaching with an interest in being a student." he says, calmly waiting for a response. What she said next would determine where this conversation led next.

Aqua began to speak normally once more, she started to speak with more confidence. "..I apologize I understand there is probably many rules im breaking, however i was wondering if you could make a special consideration..?" She looked him in the eye as she spoke again, clutching her hands together out of Adrain's sight. She knew she was about to take a giant risk but trusted in her judgment.
"I would be a fool to try and lie to a man of your stature, and i believe Miss Nyx wouldn't work for a man who had such hatred for fated, nor would she have recommended for me to come here if that was true." She waited as to give Adrain a moment to realize what she is saying. "I recently was brought to this world and learned of the Arch's existence and when i heard such a location existed i thought i was dreaming, its always been my dream to learn magic in a place like this so i was hoping if you could help me please realize that dream."
She stood up and bowed her head and body down towards adrain, her hair leaning forward to cover the sides of her face and some tears that had fallen from the Angel's face. "Please I beg of you ill do whatever it takes to earn the right to study here if you make this special consideration"

Adrain listened intently as Aqua made her impassioned speech and request, not making any visible reaction of expression when she plead her case. At the end of it, Adrain takes a small breath before speaking once more, his eyes only half visible through the narrow of his eyes.
"I see, well I trust Nyx's judgment if she thought you would do well here. The fact that you are fated is irrelevant to me, you are yourself and your actions determine your future as much as anyone else." he says, then standing up and walking near Aqua, holding his hand up as a purple portal manifests nearby. "Firstly, I want to see what you are capable of but my office is hardly an approrpiate place for such a thing." he says, then casually stepping through the portal.
On the other side would be a plain field, the Arch in sight about a thousand feet behind. This was one of the fields for spellcasting that some of the classes would use. Adrain would stand off to a side, looking at Aqua when she appeared patiently.
"Show me what magic abilities you possess, I want to see where the base is for a regimen.'

After he said he didn't care of her fated status she let out a small sigh of relief "Thank you Sir I promise to try my best." She stood up and followed him through the portal.
She looked around and was amazed that he could take them such a distance in an instant. She puts her hand above her eyes to try and focus in on the arch. "Wow that is quite a leap we just made." She looked around her environment to get a better grip on what she could do, this was her one shot and she wanted to impress him. "Hmmmm" She closed her eyes and thought for a moment. She saw the lake nearby and walked over to it in a hurry. As she reached it's shore she began to sign and her pendant began to glow, she walked slowly on the surface of the water, increasing its surface tension so that she wouldn't fall through. As she did that, strands of water began to swim around her in a circular motion and her magic circle appeared under her.
"Summon:Guards!" As she sang the incantation for the spell, aqua snapped her fingers and instantly the strands of water that were once floating around her moved to the shore and began to take on the outline of two men. She continued to sing and would stop when she arrived on shore. once she arrived on shore and stood on solid ground again she stopped singing. "As you can probably tell my natural form of spell casting is water magic and I used to be quite good at it, most of my strength hasn't returned since being fated and i cant use my light magic still but I can at least still summon my guards"
She snapped her fingers once more and the guards appearance began to change once more, the clear blue water began to take on the appearance of a human. One took on the appearance of head master who's name she had not learned yet and the other began to take on the form of aqua. "I can also change their appearance to look like what i decide as long as it is humanoid." She snapped her fingers again and the guards began to change once more, this time they donned their regular appearance of two men who stood at 6 feet tall who were wearing armor and a helmet that would cover their face and most of their body while holding spears that looked similar to her own. "I can also use a different spell to make my wings appear and can also use water to form chains to restrain a target of my choosing."
as she waited for Adrain to respond, the guards would stand still by her side, if he approached them they would kneel towards him as a sign of respect.

Adrain would simply watch and allow Aqua to go about her spellcasting without comment. Once she had summonned what she called 'guards'. He looks at the guards and nods, they were like the elementals that Adrain would call upon. The shapeshifting was a nice touch but not something he hadn't seen before. He nods listening to the description of the water magic innate nature and the comment about wings and chains.
"Wings you say.." he says, with some degree of curiosity. At this point though, his keen sense of magic picked up on something unusual. It was subtle, but there was a presence in Aqua that was...dark, malicious. His brow raised, but he could feel that it wasn't natural to her.
"Ah yes...well,it means your innate nature is of water magic. You can certainly expand to other elements if you wish. The fact you can summon shortly after fating means you still have significant control over your abilities. I may have you work with Professor Vanya in that case whom is a skilled instructor on the water magic." he says.

Her eyes widen "Ah forgive me, i forgot to tell you im an angel" She then began to cast the spell that allowed her wings made out of water to appear. "I'm only half though, the other half of me is Human." She then turned around dispelling her wings. "Id like to practice my light magic once more since i seem to be lacking my former strength in that category but nonetheless im excited to work with professor Vanya, thank you Headmaster." She turned her back on him to face the lake once more and placed both of her hands behind her clutching them together. In this moment Adrain could feel the dark malice grow. As the malice grew Adrain would feel very strong dark magic at work.
"Awwww. You just had to notice me didnt you? Ruined all the fun of revealing myself." Aqua turned back around and her eyes were red now and her smile changed into that of a wicked grin "Its a pleasure to formally meet you, Adrain-Sama~" It was clear this person was no longer Aqua but someone else entirely.
If Adrain began to cast any magic or show any signs of moving aqua would instantly grab her lance and grow it to full size and put it against her neck " I wouldn't try anything funny if i were you, unless you want little miss Aingeru here to end up with an ugly cut on her beautiful skin." the new entity said as it giggled.

"Ah I see...half angels are surprisingly common of late..." he muses, knowing of other half angels in various flavors such as Nyx and Lucifina. The water wings were interesting. Magical wings always seemed to be almost impractical in terms of anatomy and physical lift. Tresor was the first one with wings he definitively saw working correctly, granted he didn't see Nyx's too well during the Siege.
"Strength returns in time once your body adapts. Truthfully I would like to learn better how the fating process works to help people adapt. I'm sure Professor Vanya will be able to assist with the water magic. As far as Light, perhaps Nyx or myself can work with you on that." he says, believing Melda's strongest classes to be of Wind and Water.
At this point, Adrain could sense something malicious stirring, his eyes narrowed as a different presence seemed to take hold. At this point, he could sense that Aqua may be in danger and seeing the implement he used a very basic but effective spell: Disarm.
At Adrain's level of mastery, the only thing to sense was arcane mana repulsing the weapon from Aqua's grasp and then earthen spikes surrounding it where it landed. At this point, Adrain's expression turns to ice.
"Right then...what have we here.." he says, his mind's eye scanning Aqua's current status. "Unnatural the Aqua's body, yet with a faint of mana similar at a core level before it diverges. Though truth be told you seem to be the exact opposite. I have to admit, I am sort of impressed that there is a soul link that reaches beyond my detection after a certain point...perhaps across the nether to the origin of where Aqua came from. I shall have to study this." he says, then exhaling a sigh.
"So...you can possess Aqua, but you don't kill her. That had to have been an empty threat since you see some sort of value in her life, yet your soul link has infected her, so excising it would be incredibly dangerous and even I am not comfortable attempting to perform such a procedure." he says, then looking at Aqua's possessed form with annoyance.
"So what are you exactly...that you bother to try to hold on to Aqua when I can only assume she isn't in your world now. It isn't some fondness obviously, and I can't help but to feel like possessing her like you are causes an incredible strain."

"Ah...you saw right through my threat, your right...I don't want to kill her.. Yet." the entity said with a grin before laughing. "The threat was just for me to confirm something I had thought of. You hold some form of regard for her well being if you didn't why would you have disarmed me?." He put his arms up as if he was stretching and after stretching then puts his arms behind his head as if he was relaxing.
After hearing Adrain attempt to analyze the situation he went back to his normal position. "Wow~ a compliment from the headmaster of a prestigious magic academy? Thank you however I can do much more then simply posses her." He laughed hysterically. "But wheres the fun in telling you that? I think it would be much better to keep things mysterious." When questioned on who or what the entity was he chuckled once more as if this was a game to him. "Well you aren't in a position to be making demands but I guess I'll humor you, My name is Julen Arkaitz and yes your theory is correct I am originally from aqua's home world. As for this spell being strenuous, as of right now it is but as time goes on, my strength will grow and it will become easier and easier to do to take control of dear aqua. as for the reason im controlling this stupid princess is reasons of my own and i dont feel like particularly sharing anymore at the moment, it will reveal itself in due time"
" Now that those questions are out of the way, its my turn to make demands. I only showed myself to you for 3 reasons."
My first reason is to warn you, if you tell aqua of my existence, ill immediately bring harm to her and erase the memory of you or anyone else saying anything. I want her to continue to think this is a simple memory loss curse." He took a short pause after his first demand to make sure Adrain processed the warning.
"Secondly I also came to warn you of the consequences of what will happen if you do try to excise me. If for whatever reason i should die or leave her body, she will perish with me as well, its just the nature of the spell if i die someone comes down with me and i chose her."
"Thirdly, this one pertains to Aqua, I want you to give her a room either with Arthas pellander or next to his room, and she can be near miss Nyx but i dont want her rooming with her, that woman test's my patience to the utmost level. If these demands are met then I wont bring harm to anyone else, Should these demands be violated, i cant promise I wont take action against aqua or anyone else."

"I have a regard for all people's well being who are of lawful and good nature." Adrain says raising a brow at the new entity's cockiness and declaration of being so much more capable. It was time to play to the ego of the beast.
"Oh, but you seem to hold all the cards, why not elaborate a little more about what you're capable of and help me to appreciate whats really at stake here with Aqua. I might be forced to just put her in a stasis or something to be safe if not." he says. The demands that the entity made were interesting...he wanted subtlety, to remain, and to stay near Arthas for some reason. Arthas was a part of the entity's plan somehow...he couldn't be an accomplice could he?
"Well then...I fear I cannot put her on the same level as Arthas or Nyx anyway, those are faculty floors and it would draw suspicion to have her room there. She will have to be in the student quarters." he says, processing and trying to plan around the other demands.

"Hmm stasis? Awe don't be a party pooper now dear Adrain if what you said previously is correct then why would you do something like that to poor little aqua?" When she blinked one eye would be blue smiling at the man joyfully and the other side of her face would be red with teeth grinning. "After all, all i want is to learn magic and explore this new world, I've been locked up all my life in my castle and never got to go anywhere~ why put me in a new prison? Please dont headmaster Adrain." once the blue eye turned back into a red one he spoke once more with her finger pointing to Aqua's lower lip."Ahhhh true you could always do that but i know you wont" Julen began to grow bored of the conversation and sighed " Your threats aren't going to get me to reveal anymore" the perceptive demon had seen right through adrains attempt to gain info "put aqua in stasis if you want I don't care, it will run out eventually and ill continue my plan as usual." When he heard that aqua could not be on the same level as arthas he frowned "Ah, fine im not one for rules but I'll overlook this one i would like to reform the deal then, assign Arthas to privately tutor aqua in whatever he sees fit."
As soon as he finished reforming that final demand his eyes showed a sign of panic "Shit. already?" He sighed loudly "It seems that i have to go for now but please do keep in touch~" aqua's body began to move to the lake once more. "Oh also" aqua snapped her fingers and a guard came out of the water and stood at attention for aqua as Julen began to frown "Dont ever say my threats are empty." As soon as the words left Aqua's mouth the guard turned all black and formed a spear out of water and attempts to cut aqua on her shoulder.

It was clear that this 'Julen' wasn't going to yield. While his responses followed the typical, overconfident, cocky evil stereotype it was clear that Adrain had little leverage to directly stop him right now. Abruptly, the demon boy seemed to take over one of Aqua's guards to lunge. The mage reacted before he could think, lunging forward and deflecting the water spear by charging his forearm with mana and deflecting it. This isn't without consequence, as the hastily made guard was imperfect and attuned to water when the guard seemed to have a shadow element to it and the blade of the spear cuts across Adrain's forearm.
He winces, but charges a burst of mana with his unwounded hand and launches a powerful airburst that blows up the water guard. He exhales, looking at his arm noting that he would have to treat that at the infirmary later. For now, he walks a few steps away from Aqua and waits to see if she returns to normal.

Arthas had been on a training run to build up his physical endurance and see how long he could keep his speed rune running. He was fully armed as he saw no point if he didn't do this with full equipment since training without it seemed to be only a half measure and a waste of time. He had started doing this to improve his control and to improve the potency of his runes. While running he felt manna build up in a field a little ways off from where he normally ran so he changed route to investigate to make sure it wasn't a threat to the school, students, or residents of the arch and it's town.
He came up on the scene to see Adrian blasting away a clone that had been created by the princess from another realm. Something about her was off though he doubted Adrain needed his assistance to deal with it. It wouldn't matter if he kept going but he kind of wanted to Adrain in action seeing as he was the headmaster after all which usually meant he had massive amounts of knowledge or was exceptionally powerful for a mage. He slowed his pace and let his speed rune's manna supply dry up as he walked up to them. His left hand was placed on the scabbard of his sword, "Hello headmaster, mind if I join the two of you."
