Ruby did what she could to push the party forward. Which was effectively dragging Isen along behind her and agreeing with Eterna. No sooner than the group got moving, a new person approached them. No idea what this woman was doing way out here. There is an obvious answer but it's still weird seeing people show up suddenly. Ruby eyed the woman. Her body ached and this woman's bubbly mannerisms caused her further physical pain. It didn't actually cause her actual pain, but she was cranky AF.
Ruby watched her deal with the new undead quickly with some sort of hydropump, unphased by the display of power. "Sure. But we don't have time to sit around. Our bodys ache and we can't sit around and chat. We need to get into the castle, and if we can find good place on the wall, I'll be able to get us inside." She reaches down and pats the coiled rope on her leg to draw attention to it.
"Believe it or not, this won't be the first castle wall I've climbed."

Ísenwulfa did not like the new girl, Amanzi. She seemed even brighter and happier than Ruby, and the way she spoke set Ísenwulfa's teeth on edge. The girl looked like a total ditz, but she at least had some quite impressive magic and a good set of keys. Besides, Ísenwulfa had previously thought that Eterna might not be much use on this campaign, but had been proven quite wrong. Sometimes you couldn't judge a person by how they looked.
Unable to speak - and not really seeing any need to do so in any case - Ísenwulfa instead stared at the castle, trying to find a back way in for Ruby. Perhaps there was a weak spot near a postern? She slowly moved away from the group a few meters, well within earshot and eyeshot, and attempted to find such a place.

Eterna looked at the girl and the group, she didn’t mind if the person wished to join since their group was down a few people. “Sure, I don’t mind if you joined. It seems like you can fight at least” Eterna looked at the girl, though she thought it was somewhat suspicious she didnt put much thought into it since it was expected for more people to come and help fight helena. Afterwards she turned back towards the direction of the castle “So any ideas on how we’ll get in?”

Amanzi faltered slightly. She could already tell that this group, though accepting her presence, wasn't fond of her. She cleared her throat and nodded to Ruby. Of course. I haven't made it close to the castle yet, so I don't know anything more than you do about how to get in... She started, but the hoards seem to have died out since that roar... maybe we can just walk right up, pick a wall and start climbing? She offered, not sure on what their strategy was.
She looked to Eterna, I can fight. I used to be a student at the Arch, studying Water Magic. I won't drag you guys down, I promise. She nodded her head firmly, eager to prove that she was worth their time.
Assuming the group started moving towards the castle, Amanzi would keep her eyes on the great building, trying to find an area to climb, or enter from.
Should the group continue to trek forward, they would make it to the castle without a single undead or hound provoking them.

“Thats good to know you can at least hold your own, We should start heading to the castle, waiting all day here won’t do us any good. After the last roar it might have lessened the horde” Eterna continued to walk towards the castle, taking glances at the back on isenwulfa, ruby, and the new girl that joined. She would lead them towards the castle though without a monster, creature, or anything in their way it seemed off. Next thing she knew they Eterna was standing next to the door.

It was eerily quiet as they walked to the castle. Ísenwulfa expected more balls of fire or masses of undead at every step, but there was nothing there. She could see them massing at the main gate, but none exited to engage as they angled towards as postern gate. It smelled very much like a trap, but there was little Ísenwulfa could do if it was. She couldn't even speak to give voice to her concerns or warning if the worst happened. She was limited to mute awareness and the hope she could interpose herself between the group and any danger. After all, she would survive any attack.
Now they were at the gate, Ísenwulfa looked expectantly at Ruby, though she spared a look for Amazi, who she thought might possibly be able to do something with magic. Their next actions were up to the two of them now.

Amanzi nodded at Eterna, looking worriedly towards the castle. It had gotten incredibly silent since that roar. Of course she could hear the movements of the rest of the group, but it sounded like those were the only sounds around them. It was eerie.
As they walked, she would give a wary glance towards Ruby, who'd previously said she could find a spot on the wall to climb up and get them in. You know... You don't really look well enough to scale the wall yourself, let alone any of us pulling you down... maybe we should find another way in?[/colour] Amanzi suggested slowly, feeling her skin crawl with gooseflesh the closer they got to the castle.
The hoard of undead filtering around the main entrance slowly made their way inside, thinning the masses some. The postern gate was still clear, no enemy in sight. As they neared the castle even further, they would feel a slow rumble under the ground, slowly rising until it was vibrating their feet. An earsplitting crack could be heard moments later, and about 2 football fields behind them, the earth would be seen cracking and splitting in two, as a large divide in the ground was opened, lava pouring from the freshly ripped open earth, quickly making its way towards their small group.
Reaction time: 4 days.

The undead continued to ignore them and move inside, which only made Ísenwulfa more wary. Something must be happening inside the castle. Perhaps one of the other groups had already made it inside and was giving whoever co-ordinated the undead a serious headache? If so, it suggested that their enemy had limits. They were not all seeing or all knowing, and might need to directly order their abominations to attack. If they could remain undetected, they might be able to get right to the heart of thigns without any serious problems.
Or, of course, it could just be all an elaborate ruse. Who knew how a goddess thought?
The ground began to rumble, growing steadily until it became hard to keep their feet. Ísenwulfa looked behind them as there was an all mighty crack and saw the ground splitting open and some sort of molten metal or strange coals some two hundred yards behind them. It began to move rapidly towards them, though she didn't know how rapidly, because she immediately shoved her companions forward and then dashed to the lead, determined to be the first one through the door. This stank of a trap, and she was the one best equipped to deal with it. She intended to shoulder charge the door and, if it opened, to immediately bring her axe forward to thrust out at anyone waiting in ambush.

Alongside all of the movement of the undead Eterna looked at the entrance as the ground shook and she saw cracks appear and lava would begin to flow. “Well, we’ll have to make a decision quickly or else this place will make it for us.” Eterna said as the shaking seemed to get worse and a roar filled the air. “We should just run in, Better than staying outside where it looks like the world is breaking.” Eterna said prepared to just charge through the entrance.
