The north wall as meant to be the gathering place for those braving the lair of Helena and this black dragon that was locked away. The dream had bothered him more than he showed as it just seemed overly sad to him to watch the two dragons tare at each other like that. He was more determined than he had ever been to be part of this group of brave and/or crazy individuals. He arrived the night before and had taken the time to set up an area where there was now a large number of tables with food and drinks available at drastically reduced prices for those watching and for those taking part in the summons from the gods.
Being a prince you would expect him to be clad in some overly flashy armor that would make him stand out like sore thumb on a battlefield. Instead he was wearing some very practical armor that he had been using for years. The armor was a matte grey color that covered his forearms, thighs, shins, feet, torso, and shoulders. It was lightweight and meant to allow him to move around more freely in combat, a few small alterations were added to accommodate his Kray transformation. He had hoped not to need it on this trip but this could also extend to his homeland and for once he was willing to do something a member of the Pherana Royal Family should do.
He wasn't eating anything fancy and had his eyes on the horizon as he recalled the maps of the lands leading up to Morgg that he had poured over as he was still getting read to take an expedition out should Nova or the world still exist after this. His kopesh swords were hanging at his hips and he had a satchel on him with a notebook and some charcoal pencils in it along with various dried foods. This satchel had two canteens attached to the outside of it both holding water. His eyes finally pulled from the horizon and looked around to see who had chosen to join him in undertaking this feat, "Greetings, I'm Prince Sareth Edara of Pherana, from this point on you can drop all formalities with me. Like you I'm a resident of this world and this threatens us all and that makes us all equal today regardless of birth or station. Before we head out I would like to take a moment to learn a little about all of you and answer questions you have about me so we can work out a strategy for how we will face the hoards of undead that are most likely going to stand between us and stopping Helena."

Two young men approached this Prince, broadswords strapped across their legs and a longbow around Gunnar's back. Their cloaks blew around in the breeze. "Gunnar Oakenheart, at your service. This is my husband Vidar." He motioned to the man next to him as they nuzzled their heads together.

The last four nights Sai was not going to admit it to anyone but she rarely slept each time she closed her eyes she woke up an hour later in cold sweats and would end up in her basement training room wondering what the hell was going on in Nova. She had spent the most of that extra time training, working on her form, she even took down her crossbow and started shooting some of the targets from the steps trying to improve her aim and now it was the day when she would find out who was in her team she honestly didn’t care as long as the person knew how to fight and they didn’t slow anyone down because she didn’t want any of her children to get hurt. Walking around she was about the size of thirteen-year-old, on her hips was little Dirkot sucking his thumb his eyes taking in everything knowing that something big as happening but he wasn’t sure why his mother was nervous. Sai quickly found her group she nodded her head at each of them at Sareth’s introduction she smiled. “No issues here. Though I would prefer not to have to deal with Helena and her undead creatures again.” Turning she handed Dirkot to Zyphire as she kissed his forehead and giving the others kids each a hug as she picked up bag that Zyphire had dropped and quickly disappeared behind blocked off area, anyone listening could hear bones cracking, and the shuffling of clothes being taken off and put back on. When Sai rejoined the group, she would be standing at her proper height of 6’4" something, her clothes change to her normal assassin clothes. Black clothes from head to toe, around her chest just her breast as leather tunic, covering her breast was just simple cloth since she wasn’t worried about her chest, the outer part of her arm was protected by leather while the inside was simple cloth, everything thing else was made from a high durability cloth that preventing it from coming apart quickly but was also lightweight enough for her to move easily without being weighted down by heavy armor. “Sorry I didn’t introduce myself you can call me Sai.” She was adding the Zhu Que Wing Dagger that she had gotten from a mission a long time ago to the holster on her leg, as she adjusted her belt, her hands going over the five throwing knives on it. Turning to her kids she watched as her oldest Fyie handed her a silver crossbow, taking it she adjusted straps on her bag and attached the crossbow since she knew they wouldn’t be needing it just yet but she did place the bolts for it waist. Next, she took her short sword and placed it in the horizon holster that was on her back, taking the leather water skin from Zyphire knowing that it was a poison in it that she can use later to coat her weapons in along the phial of mermaid tears. Taking off her necklace she handed it to Zpyhire she had already explained what to do with it in the worst case she doesn’t return from this. “So, anyone know how we are getting to Morgg.” She adjusted her clothes lifting her face mask so that only her eyes were not covered as she took what ever food rations were offered along with what ever supplies were offered for the trip including from flint and steel. Alekir's dreams for the past four days have been plaguing him. He had been training every waking moment. Practicing blows with his mace and his accuracy with his hand crossbows. They were a pain to reload but they could do a lot of damage. He woke up earlier than normal today to make sure his armor was all in order. He carefully polished the metal parts of his armor to the point of shining. He grabbed his mace and crossbows, and carefully hooked the crossbow bolt case carrying all the ammunition it could carry to his right leg. As he departed his home he looked around, taking a deep breath as he realized this might be the last time he ever would be here. When he made it to the northern gate he quickly took note of the group that would be joining him on this adventure. His laugh echoed through his Armet. So let's see here. We got a prince from a far away land, a....sorry I do not know who you are....the lovely Sai, and me, a bounty hunter. This should just end perfectly." He laughed again "Sorry, I just always like to have some fun before a hunt. Gets the body loose. I am Alekir Relki. Pleasure to meet you all."

Tres' nightmares of Helena had only grown worse and more severe since the arrival of the blackened clouds that overtook the blue skies of Nova. Tres tossed and turned at night, fearful of what may come. In preparation, she had been working harder on learning how to use her newfound manna. She tirelessly trained using the sword she obtained long ago, reminding her body of what she had once known, fighting alongside Helena. She felt prepared, but knew not what to expect this time around.
Tres approached the odd bunch, many of which she had previously met. "You can bet that this is an odd bunch, and who better to join it none-other than the woman who may know Helena best..." Tres paused to look around the group, her stance was confident as she stood tall though she was shorter than the rest of the group. She ensured this time that her three wings were visible to all, to some this would be a shock as she had previously either met them or healed them. "My name is Trésor de Lys, but you may call me Tres. I am a healer, a magic user, and a previous follower of Helena." she took a deep breath, knowing the backlash she could get for being so blunt. "If you have a problem with that, then you can leave, because I may be the one to save you in the end." she looked to Sai, having healed her previously.
Tres sported her worn combat boots, a layer of tights with a pair of dark brown khaki trousers that came in at the ankles. She wore a tight fitting white shirt underneath a layer of armor that covered her legs, torso, arms, and wings. In each of her pockets was various items that she brought from her infirmary- including 10 sight shrooms, and other various herbs that could help combat poisons, and aid in quick recovery if she cannot be there to help. She also carried with her several packets of seeds (approximately 10), along with a canteen filled with water. She carried two daggers in her boots, a Mythril sword, and a winged shield. On her wrist she wore an enchanted gold band that would protect her from any mental interference. She looked like her old self. The warrior she used to be. "Now, I'm with Sai, what is our plan to get into the Morgg?" she paused a moment to look at Sareth. "I'm assuming you already have a plan?" she gestured to the maps that could be visible from where she stood.

So he had a married couple who seemed to be committed to this. A shapeshifter who showed that she is able to take on smaller forms though he didn't write off her being able to get bigger yet as either of those changes could come in handy later. There was the mercenary who looked like he had a good amount of experience in combat due to the armor and weapons he was carrying. The last one he had met before now, she was a healer and apperntly used to be one of Helena's angels which explained the wings she was displaying now. "Thank you for telling us ahead of time since that could have been an issue if found out in the middle of combat."
When they looked at the maps he had he moved over to them and marked for places on the map, "We have four potential entry points, I would assume all are well guarded in their own ways. Personally I would rather enter through one of the side entrances since usually they don't open up into large areas which will cut down on the potential host of undead that may be on the other side of the door. I'm avoiding the sewer entrance because far too much can be hidden in shallow water that may be in there. That is not to mention any cave ins that we may encounter." While letting them mull over what he had told them he took another look at all of them, there seemed to be a good compliment of melee and ranged weaponry. Thanks to that he would have a better time with strategy in combat situations that were most likely to change quickly.
He placed two fingers between his teeth and gave a sharp whistle to tell his stable master to bring the horses over, "I'm providing horses to get us to Morgg, these are trained and seasoned war horses so don't worry about riding them into combat. Short of a dragon appearing not much will spook them. You'll notice a whistle hanging from each saddle's horn, you can use this to call the horse to you should you get separated." With that said He mounted his large black shire horse who like the other horses provided had armor across his broad chest and on his front legs. His hind quarters were covered with a sleeping roll, lanturn, and packs with various dried foods in them. Each horse also had a saddle bag containing an oiled cloak for each rider should it start to rain for some odd reason. Waiting for the others to mount up he turned toward Morgg and lead them towards it.
While riding he spoke to them, "Once we enter Morgg we are going to have to play it by ear since there are literally no maps that can be considered reliable. Tres, I do have to ask if you have any knowledge about Morgg's interior that may help us out." He wasn't dismissing the opinions of the others but if she served Helena at one point she may have intel that could help them a lot in the coming battles. Despite what people might expect of a prince he wasn't trying to just order the group around he was taking into account all of their opinions as well as their strengths and any weaknesses he might spot or be informed of.

Sai offered a small smile to Alekir she was happy that he was going it was nice to see a familiar face and to have someone that she fought with before who knows her strengths and weaknesses. Her eyes shifted as another female with familiar brown hair joined they group nodding her head at Tres, she knew that she was capable healer but hearing that she once was following of Helena and judging from the wings she was one of her angels. “Tres can you tell us anything about the woman we are dealing with any weaknesses you might be aware of?” She figured that the more information that they had before they went in the better the success rate of them leaving alive and the body of a dead dragon.
Looking at the maps she nodded her head, as she agreed with some of his points. With they small group having to fight in a big open area could be more dangerous but it was most straight forward route to the Goddess herself. Though the sewers wouldn’t have been a issue for her but it seemed that some were worried about what could be hidden in the water and possible cave in. She didn’t argue since everyone’s comfortable level was to be taken in consideration plus the side entrance wasn’t that bad of a choice either.
Her question on how they would get there with Serath said that he was providing them each with a horse. Seeing the beauty, she brushed the name of the stallion he neighed under and smelted her hand a bit. Taking the whistle from the saddle’s horn she placed it around her neck before she carefully mounted the horse, snapping the reigns. Deciding to ride along next to Alekir, “Do you have any idea on what to expect.”

Alekir offered a small smile in return to Sai. Though it was really hard to see while he wore his helmet. He was also really happy Sai was along for this mission. It was nice to have someone you knew on a mission. With that however, came a new strange face. A dark haired lady, with strange wings to show off as well. Alekir wasn't dense and knew from the clues given that this was a former angel of Helena. He laughed quietly at that. This was a real weird group and he loved it.
Alekir didn't really bother looking at the map. He knew no maps could really help what they were up against. He mainly focused on the steeds the pronce ha brought. Alekir approached one of the larger ones, brushing his hand against it's back gently. As he slowly took the whistle off the saddle horn he got slowly mounted it. He wrapped the whistle around his wrist and trotted over to Sai. Just from the way it walked Alekir could tell this was a might war horse. Strong and powerful, he had a feeling they would get along very well.

Tres nodded her head to Sai, her eyes flashing to her feet, distraught and unsure of what to say. "To be frank dear Sai, I'm not sure what she has in store for us." she took in a deep breath to reassure herself "Helena seems to have grown in strength since I was last with her, and I'm not sure what has changed in her." she took in another deep breath, this time feeling sturdier, more sure of herself. "What I do know, is that she has no remaining good in her... and she will use that to her advantage... in this case, it seems like she's seeking out vengeance, and she won't stop until she's satisfied." she looked Sai in the eyes now, unsure if the assassin could see the fear behind her glassy amber eyes. "And I don't think she'll ever be satisfied." her tone was flat and serious now.
Tres followed the man over to the maps that were strewn about. It had been so long since she had last been in Morgg castle, and it scared her to think of what awaited them inside. She listened attentively to Sareth's plan, agreeing that it wouldn't be a good idea to go through the sewers. "Not only could we face cave-ins, but we don't know what kind of beasts lie in the sewers, and frankly, I don't want to be the one to find out." she agreed that the best plan of entry was through the side doors. The main entrance is too open of a space, which means too many followers, they want to be inconspicuous and subtle, not out in the open. Tres looked over the map, then nodded to Sareth.
She then wandered over to the pack of armored stallions. She approached one slowly, and stroked its mane. It was a beautiful white stallion with the occasional grey patch, very similar to her wings. She mounted the horse after a moment of bonding, and rode forward right behind Sareth. Tres could see the dark castle before her, the clouds looked more terrifying up close... She felt something in the pit of her stomach turn. The dark thoughts were interrupted by a request from the prince himself. Tres spoke up "Maps will do you no good since the layout of Morgg is ever changing. No one ever knows what to expect... What I can do is help you navigate the castle, and be wary of the doors..." she rode her horse closer to Sareth, and began "We can expect everything that she has to throw at us... Its gonna be tough..." she felt the fear crawling back up from her stomach, but her determination helped to push her through.

Sareth move his horse over to Tres while she talked about what she knew of Helena's forces though he could be intimidating in appearance but he wasn't attempting to appear that way. He could feel the tension, fear, and anxiety coming off of Tres and pushed some of his calm to her to help her get a little more centered. "Stick close to me when you can Tres I'll help keep your emotions more level."
With that information shared he spurred his horse into movement leading the rest of the group towards Morgg. While the trip there was mostly uneventful he spent time reviewing his mental notes one castle sieges that may bee needed during this quest to save the world in general. He slowed to a trot once the castle came into sight and eventually to a stop and dismounted while motioning for the others to follow suit. "We should finish the trek on foot from here as the horses could prove a problem fighting any sort of undead that might come to meet us. Don't tie them to anything since they won't venture far from where we leave them and that way the whistles will reach them if we have to call them to us."
Taking a moment to survey the area he found a decent path that lead to the door they were intending to use as an entrance, "Alright I'll be taking point since I can locate traps and weakened parts of the floors and walls. If you have a bow or crossbow I would ask that you take up a point in the middle of the formation while another melee fighter take up the rear just in case we get surrounded. Is everyone ready to do this?" During this speech he was taking the time to expand his projected calm to encompass the group a little bit more to help from panic setting during their approach or if they are ambushed. It was a subtle sensation that would feel as if it was just a slightly warmer breeze washed over them and settled their nerves a bit.
The land between the group and the castle was turning more and more black as it looked scorched and bodies appeared to be scattered around. A smell of cooked and rotting flesh was carried to them on the breeze that swept through the area. The heat was getting to be sweltering though to him it felt kind of like being back home out in the open desert around mid morning during the summer. He wasn't looking too forward to this adventure as it might put the wrong ideas in the heads of his family back home when they do hear about it as he was certain some sort of report would get back to them after this was all done as long as they were successful.

A frown marred Sai’s face for a moment hearing that even Tres herself was unsure of what might be in store for them. Also hearing that the woman had no good left in her didn’t settle well for her either she did know one thing and that all the Gods needed a balance in they life and Helena not having that inner balance is what might fuck them over in the long run. “It’s okay Tres, let’s just pray that we can stop her before she does something that we can’t prevent.” Sai responded as she looked into Tres’s eyes her own reflecting her determination but also the burning excitement of the possibility of putting Helena to rest once and for all.
Sai reminded quiet most the trip, her thoughts were circling on different possibilities and what they might encounter but even then she was excited for what they might meet. She is not going to lie to herself she been restless most of the time with nothing to do, other than practice her craft. Now she had a chance to put all of that memory muscle to work and do something other than train herself and her kids.
Upon arriving at Morgg the scent was enough to bring a tear to a grown man cry, pulling up her face mask to prevent some of the scent. Her eyes scanned the area as she moved to stand in the middle of the group as she took her crossbow off her back and loaded the first bolt knowing that she only had so many which meant she had to make all her shots count and collect as many of her bolts that she can as they made they way deeper. Feeling the small sense of calm come over her she relaxed a bit as her mind went into work mode focusing mainly on the task ahead and ready for whatever the insane Goddess was going to throw at them.

The smell of ash and sulfur would be thick in the air upon entering the clearing that surrounded morgg's castle. the trees dead and struck black from becoming chard, with little to no vegetation around for about a mile.
As the group traveled on horseback the sight of charred flesh belonging corpses could be seen scattered throughout the stretch of clearing leading up to the castle.
Near the horses where Sareth stood, a hand raised from a partly charred looking man, who gasped and coughed when he heard people approaching where he laid. " Hel...Hel" he kept repeating in a gurgled voice, before the brown in his eyes slowly began to be taken over by a change, the pupils inked over consuming his eyes to pure black. "Helena will prevail." the half chard man hissed, picking himself up in a half haggard fashion, obviously the humanity left in him robbed leaving the animated corpse behind. who now turned to the group in a hostile manner. As Sai scanned the area she would be able to see a few more corpses (4 total) coming back to life and heading their direction.

Alekir was also quiet for a long portion of the trip. He didn't want to say it but he actually had a slight fear of undead. Not normal fear mind you. He was more like you to repeatedly bash in an undead's skull with a mace than run away from it but it was still a fear though. It was something about the dead not staying dead. Maybe it was because part of his job was to kill but he didn't know that for sure.
As Morgg came into sight Alekir had to gape at it's looming shadow of ash and flames. It was both terrifying and awebrining at the same time. But he didn't know which one to feel. That was answered very quickly when the man appeared next to Sareth. Alekir pitied the man as first, but when the man spoke of Helena prevailing Alekir just instintively pulled out his crossbow and shot at the man, aiming for the head. He got off his horse and unhooked his mace, ready to bash in the man's skull. "No. No. N-No. Nuh-Uh. Nope. Not dealing with you. I am not dealing with you and your creepy Helena crap. No."

Tres dismounted her horse, leaving it in its place. She pet the bridge of its nose gently and slowly as if to comfort it, but really comforting herself. The ashen ground stained the bottom of her boots, the smell all too familiar staining her nostrils. She felt tingles go up her spine, feeling the familiar sensation of fear. She walked and alternated by flying - almost hovering above the ground. Tres took her place behind Sareth, hoping to stay close to the front to ensure that she would be able to detect which door held a trap behind it, and to stay in the middle in order to be nearby to heal if need be.
Tres would look into Sai's eyes, finding unexpected comfort. She hoped that behind her amber eyes, she could find the same comfort, even though she was terrified, she didn't show it.
"Sareth," she began "I'll be able to tell which door holds a trap, however I'll need you to be the one to figure out how to undo it." she stayed close behind him, and felt an overwhelming sensation of comfort, calmness, and warmth. She felt her tensions ease, took a deep breath of sulfuric air, and let the familiarity settle.
Next to her, she saw the man, who picked up pace. But before he could say a prayer to Helena, he was shot in the face by Alekir who seemed uneasy at the sight of the undead. Tres' eye went wide as he had a 'nope' fit. She then turned around after Sai would notice the four other undead approaching them. She drew her sword, ready to have her back if need be.

Sai didn’t even get a chance to dismount when a body started to approach them almost as if he wanted help but that soon changed when he spoke of Helena she did kind of wish they could get more information out of the undead soul before Alekir decided to put him out of it’s rest. Quickly her eyes saw movement away from them narrowing her eyes she four more copses raising slowly and heading towards them. Not even missing a beat she fired the bolt straight at the one that was closest to them. “We have four more well three now heading our way.” Her voice lacking emotions as she leaped off the horse with the grace of a warrior.
“Sareth I know you’re leading us but I suggest we get a move on. I don’t know how many more Helena has out here nor do I want to find out.” She said as she took her position behind Alekir knowing that her height gave her a better advantage of seeing over her team from the rear.
