She wears makeup quite liberally as well as perfumes, keeping an aura of beauty about her despite her advancing age.
PERSONALITY: If Severine could be described in one words, it would be Ambitious. Born from a lower house, Severine crawled her way to the top through the only weapons she had at her disposal, marriage and childbirth. Her and her husband shared an alike ambition that drove them together- an ambition to have their bloodline in the kings and queens of the countries surrounding their own. Calculating, conniving, and incredibly intelligent, Severine has weaved her way in and out of courts and arranged marriages and favors between her many children and the royal houses of many countries. She knows people and is intent to feed their ambitions to her own advantage and occasionally, their ruin.

BIOGRAPHY: Severine Zoe was born Severine Babineaux to a lower house of Kanto nobility. When she was eighteen, her marriage was arranged to a much older man, a Philippe Zoe of a slightly higher ranking house. Despite the lack of love between them, the two realized they had the same ambition- to climb the ranks of nobility in the court at any cost. Their first son, Jean, was born a year later. In the years that followed, the pair had seven children that they strategically married off in beneficial marriages across several countries, to lords and earls and dukes and counts. When the marriage arrangements for their twin sons was brokered, Severine left her dying husband with her youngest daughter Aveline for Nova, the last royal house to be conquered. With her wit and vast network of relations and friends, for the past ten years Severine has cemented herself as part of the Novian royal court and as part of the King’s royal council.
Severine has put her children through their own personal torture throughout their youth, driving them to physical perfection, incredible aptitude in courtly life, and force-feeding them poisons to develop an immunity should the occasion arise. At the moment, her torture is focused singularly on her youngest daughter Aveline, driving to make her the perfect and ideal candidate for Queen.
