Aria was surprised to see a letter addressed to her when going through the daily letters to be delivered by the guild. From Noku no less; she popped open the letter; catching the golden necklace that fell out. She blinked….why was Noku giving her jewelry? Aria turned her attention back to the letter to read its contents. Her eyebrows rose; one higher than the other as she read the letter. This was an interesting development; one that she felt required a thank you in person. She put the necklace aside and folded the letter; placing it in a satchel that hung off her desk chair. After she had things sorted here she’d pay a visit to the castle. So by midmorning she had finished her work and headed back to her home to get changed into something more appropriate.
She slipped into a short sleeved summer silk gown, the top of the dress was form fitting and made out of a pretty blue green material, with gold and silver thread embroidered swirls. At her waist the skirt flared out; the skirt was a pretty ruby pink with subtle gold thread embroidery. Parts of the skirt had the blue material with the silver and gold thread, as did the bottom hem of the dress. The dress was completed with a string of pretty colored stones that fell asymmetrically from her waist to her hip. She wore a pair of matching blue green embroidered flats as well. Her long hip length hair was half pulled back in a top bun; held up by a simple hair stick. On her left ring finger she of course wore the ring Garrett had given her.
Once ready she grabbed her satchel and headed back out to the portal that lead to the castle. The necklace and letter still inside the bag. She wouldn’t be lying that along with thanking him she wanted to make sure Noku was the one who sent the letter. Once at the castle she headed up to Noku’s office and knocked on the door. ”Do you have a moment to spare?”
