Aria was itching to tell someone, ANYONE, of her recent engagement. Well at least part of it, she could leave some details out. BUT most of all her friends knew each other; she was trying to keep the news on the down low. At least until Lilith and the King were to be wed; at least she assumed they were going to be. She didn’t think Noku would leave a woman to give birth undwed. Which meant Lilith’s wedding would be sooner rather than later. Aria looked down at the pretty ring that sat on her finger, admiring the colors that seem to burn within the opal stones. Deep purples and blues, with splashes of red and orange, and a speck of green here and here. It was a small round stone; but it was framed with smaller white opals arranged in a flower setting. While the metal of the ring was black; a striking contrast to her pale skin. She had enchanted it so the ring formed a tattoo on her finger; that way when she was active there wasn’t a chance of her losing it. But right now she had it out and was admiring the handy work Garrett had put into it. It was hard to keep such exciting news quiet.
She sighed and let the ring seep back into her skin; where it just joined the other tattoos that were on her skin. After all she couldn’t have her head in the clouds all day. What was on the list of things to do? OH she had a new cultivation of plants she was working on. Ones that had a nice cooling sensation when mashed to a pulp and spread as a paste. Tres could probably use them in her garden. She really should bring the woman over to look over what she had.
Actually Tres coming over for a lunch and a girl’s day sounded like a good plan. She had yet to really have a bonding day with the woman. Aria checked the time; it wasn’t TOooo early, most people would be waking up for breakfast. Aria got up and rummaged through her drawers; she suppose she couldn’t go to Tres’s place in the buff. She put on an off white, off the shoulder dress, that had a thing braided brown belt around her waist. It was loose and made of cotton; there was lace along the sleeves, and the loose skirt was tiered in a peasant skirt fashion. One side of her long hip long wavy hair was pulled back with a hair comb that was decorated with a dried starfish and pearls. She slipped her feed into brown leather flats and skipped out of her room and downstairs. Grabbing some fresh fruit as she left her little palace. She ate as she took the small hike to the portal to the palace in Nova; it was mid-morning by the time she reached it. She took the portal and headed into town.
She got to the clinic, but doors were for chumps, so she scaled the building and knocked on the window.

He had really wanted to sleep in….
Core shifted in the sheets; His baby blue eyes opening slightly at the sound of a knock on the window. “Damnit...Who the...” He grumbled lightly under his breath, not wanting to disturb the woman he had curled up next with in bed. The room still dimly lit; With his attention darting to the direction of the window where a bit of light had shined through the edging of the drapes.
Slowly and carefully, Core scooted himself to the edge of the bed. There he carefully pulled the sheet out from under the quilt cover; leaving the heavier cover behind with Tres while he wrapped the thinner sheet around his bare waist. His battle scarred torso exposed, while he quietly crept towards the window.
He listening carefully for a second before stepping up close to the drapes. His features becoming more serious by the second. With little hesitation, Core unlocked the window hatch and reached out to grab hold of whom ever had disturbed them. He grabbed at the woman’s dress and pulled her into the room, throwing her onto the floor. Shocked, he stood at the window when he recognized the deep curly mess of crimson hair. “ A.Aria?.....” He blinked, shutting the window a bit confused at why she was here this early in the morning. “ Good morning…. I’m assuming you’re here to see your friend and not me? ” Core sighed, taking this moment to tie the bedsheet around his waist and walked towards the bedroom door. By now he assumed Tres would be awake.
“ See others take the window too.” He joked, still a little out of it when he walked over to take a seat down at a empty chair in the room.

Groggily, but half awake, Tres felt the shifting of the sheets against her bare back, and heard movement coming from the other side of the bed. Tres slid her hand over to the other side of her bed, only feeling the mattress under her fingertips. Opening her eyes slowly, she pushed herself onto her forearms, laying on her stomach. She looked around, the quilt falling down to her hips, exposing her bare back.
Tres turned around abruptly after hearing the sound of a thud hitting the floor down on the lower level of her upstairs. Seeing the red head on the floor, she pulled the quilt up over her bosom, and climbed out of bed, wrapping it around her waist. She was shocked by the presence of the red head, hoping to sleep in with the blue-haired boy she had grown so fond of. She smiled at his joke, "At least I didn't have to change the locks this time..." shaking her head all the while. "Aria... what are you doing here?" her tone was sleepy, but unsure of how to react... she hadn't told Aria about her relationship with Core...
Tres quickly took a few steps over towards the chest at the end of her bed, reaching in to grab a white short-sleeved white lace wrap dress that could be tied in the front. She turned her back to the two, dropped the quilt and put on the dress tying it up quickly. She then went down the few stairs from her loft room space, down to the dining room where the two were. "Uh... I'm not really sure what to say here..." Tres scratched the back of her head, her hair in wavy tangles. "How about I make us some tea?" Tres wandered over to the kitchen and began boiling the kettle, then took out three mugs and put dried leaves from her gardem into the mugs.

Aria blinked as suddenly a mans hand reached out and grabbed her by the fabric of her shirt. ”OH fuck!” She had been completely unprepared to suddenly be yanked inside; however she had a quick last second recovery as she was tossed face first into the floor. Using one hand she was able to spring off the floor with a small round off. Landing on her feet in a crouch facing whomever just yanked her in; in her other hand she had already summoned the black dagger out of her skin. She was about to launch it when she recognized a certain someone. ”By Mylees blue balls what are you doing here?” To say she wasn’t expecting to see him was an understatement. She let out a breath of relief at least; though completely confused, she was relieved she wasn’t going to have to get into a scrap with the curse so close to being broken.
Aria stood up and let the dagger sink back into her skin before going over to tackle the half naked man in a hug. Confused or not she was happy to see him. ”If I had known you were here and not at Claires I would have come sooner! NO OFFENSE TO YOU TRES, also good morning!” She turned back to Core as she let go of him. ”I’m glad I tried this knocking thing; I’m use to surprising a certain someone with daggers….. I have a feeling you’d be worse and I totally would not have seen it coming” New lesson learned ; scout out even friends’ homes before breaking in. Didn’t need to be surprised like that twice….
Aria looked up as Tres came out of the bed room, also in a state of undress... Welp….. this was awkward. She looked back and forth between the two and shivered; Noku in a relationship was a hella a lot less weird for her due to the fact he was less of a paternal figure for her. Core however, she admitted wierded her out slightly. But non the less…”Well I suppose you two are both old people….” As an angel Aria assumed Tres was a lot older then she looked….”Unless your starting off at how old that body is Core, if that’s the case, Tres you should be ashamed at yourself for sleeping with an infant”
”New locks wouldn’t help you if I decided to come in that way, if you’re worried about more security find an alarm spell or another defense like painting the outside lock mechanism with zepons horn paste. An ice trigger is nice as well; step on the spell and it freezes the persons feet in place if they step on the runes. But as for what I’m doing here; since its about mid-morning I figured we could go back to my place to have lunch and you can go through my collection of herbs and experiments I’ve been cultivating. I have been conducting the most interesting experiments on mutating lifeforms to create new species of plants….I’ve had mixed results.” Really it was just a continuation of what she had been learning on the glade before she was fated over. She didn’t see any point in not continuing her education where it left off. Even if it was back to being self-taught. ”BUTTttt Core since you’re here; how do you feel about cross dressing for a wedding?”

Core watched Aria as she got up. An smirk appearing when he saw her shocked behavior, though was a little taken back himself when she decided to tackle him, while he was sitting in the chair. His grin not leaving even when Aria became more animated with her responses and remarks. “ I decided to spend the night. You know, instead of sleeping in a inn or in a shack somewhere. “ Core jest, cracking his lips to laugh when Aria commented about feeling ‘ he would be worse ‘ than just throwing daggers at her skull. His laugh turning into a wild grin as he gave her a playful wink. “ I’m glad you have learned to knock, This would of been bad for one of us if you hadn’t. “ He teased, looking over to Tres who had gotten up. Shy as ever it seems, not missing the embarrassment on her face as she left the room to get dress and return. By now, Aria had calmed a bit and Core continued to sit with his leg crossed before chuckling at Aria’s jab. At least she was trying to cope with it by picking at them both. His brow quirked as he looked over to Tres. “ I’m not sure what my age is here really… So Does it really matter? “ Core smirked, watching Aria when she turned to address Tres on the matter of placing security around her home. It seemed his presence wasn’t needed here, an he watched the two for a moment while getting up from his seat. Core with his hand on the bed cover around his waist; Made his way over to the bedside to pick up his clothes that were on the floor. Then he walked into another room, dressed himself and returned for a moment, fully clothed and with boots on. He stared at Aria for a moment, some what taken back by what she meant by wedding. Was someone getting married that he should care about enough to wear a dress? That was a little bit of an odd request coming from the red head. “ Wedding? Eh.. Depends.” Core shrugged, some what curious now that Aria had caught his attention.

She certainly wasn't used to the rude awakening, so hearing the conversation the two were having as she rose from under the covers made her feel even less inclined to get up... but she had to. Tres groaned under Aria's yelling. She hadn't expected a guest today... well, no one other than Core. "And a good morning to you too..." her tone was dry and sarcastic. Tres began going down the few stairs that divided her room and the open dining area as Aria made a comment about their age difference. Tres snorted from laughter, but quickly covered her mouth from embarrassment. Age humor always made her laugh, especially being several thousands of years old... "At least I don't look my age." she inquired, arching a playful eyebrow.
As Tres was preparing the tea, Aria spoke of the lock situation. "Yes, I realize that now." she let out an exasperated sigh "I'll have to inquire with the mage about arming my home with a defense mechanism..." she poured the tea into the mugs, handing one mug first to Aria, then walking over to Core, placing a gentle hand on his shoulder then placing the mug in front of him. As she set the mug down, she flashed a playful smile at him.
Then she stood back up, resting her hand on the back of the chair as he went up to get dressed. She nodded to Aria, intrigued as she had yet to see her new home in person... let alone knew that she was building a new home. Tres supposed that she wondered where Aria had stayed all this time, besides the cabin she lived in in the forest. "That sounds intriguing. I'd love to see what you've been working on, perhaps I can help to some degree." she smiled, and walked back over to the counter to grab her mug of tea.
As she took a sip from the steamy mug of floral tea, but almost spit it out hearing about a wedding. "Uh... a wedding?" Tres blinked, setting her tea back down on the counter. "Who's getting married?" she asked, her curiosity peaking. Perhaps it was a mutual friend of Aria and Core... however, Core didn't get out much - at least not that she knew.
