Date: The next morning after the full moon
Time: Early morning

After Cam had brought Lucifina back to his temporary room at the Arch of Ages, he spent most of the night watching over her. Adjusting her blanket making sure that she was warm, as he sat in a chair near the bed, a few times at night he would doze off a bit only to wake up again to notice that the blanket had moved from the body of the angel only for him to adjust it once again.


Looking out the window he saw the sky had changed from its glossy dark blue to a light tones of pinks and purples signaling that it was now a new day. Exhaustion finally getting to him, as he sat next to the bed his head on the sheets just next to Lucifina’s chest as he finally fell asleep listening to the even breathing of the angel calming him.

Once morning had came Lucifina would slowly wake up apparently moving quite a bit at night she would feel something soft, as she continued to wake up she realized it was Cam. Holding onto the blanket she would suddenly back up and let out a quick audible squeak before realizing he was asleep and tried to muffle herself to not wake him up.

After looking down on her body and checking the room she realized she was in the white dress she always wore to sleep and that the room she was in though somewhat similar wasn’t the room she shared with Nyx. Looking at Cam she tried to recall what happened last night as her face turned redder with every passing minute. At the end she was wondering if she should sneak out or wake Cam up. After a few minutes Lucifina decided she should wake him up so if he was that tired he could sleep on the bed properly, moving closer to him she gently put her arm on his shoulder and shook him “Hey Cam? Umm.. Wake up…. You shouldn’t sleep like that”

Hearing a soft voice try to wake him, in his light sleep he felt thought the voice of that of mother, the gentle touch only made him roll lend into the touch. “Nafuna…” He said softly as started to wake up a bit from the dizz of sleep. His eyes not fully focus as he looked up at the person he was speaking to. “Nafuna… I’m still tired…” Rubbing his eyes as they slowly start to focus on who he was talking to. His face flushed a bit when he realized that if was just Lucifina and feeling a bit embarrassed that mistook her for his first love.



Backing up a bit he looked at Lucifina seeing that she rested. “Are you okay? You took quite a fall last night and I’m worried so I stayed with you all night.” He said as his eyes looked over her trying to see if anything he might have missed from last night after he carried her and allowed her to rest on the only bed.

Lucifina looked at Cam as she tried to wake him up and heard him mumble a name. "Nafuna?" Shaking Cam lightly and looks at him as he wakes up. "Hey Cam? good morning. umm who's Nafuna? Sorry I heard you sleep talking when i was trying to wake you up. Lucifina looked at Cam wondering for a bit before realizing he might be tired.

“Th..thanks for taking me here but if your tired you could had slept also you know” Looking at Cam who just woke up she slowly started to remember bits of what happened last night and turned red. “Last night umm d..did we really? Well. you and rose?” Near the end Lucifina would slowly spout random words that didn’t relate or sounded like fragmented sentences while trying to make sense of everything happening last night.

During the time Lucifina would slowly try to slide off the bed so she could move around slightly. trying not to have her dress hike up as she moved off the bed.

“Nafuna… she is… she’s the mother of my child.” Closing his eyes he could see Nafuna in his mind, she was a human and avenge looking with her short shoulder length raven hair with brown eyes. Nothing special but it was her personality that drew him to her and she was the first person he opened up who wasn’t family or his master.



Opening his eyes he smiled softly at Lucifina. “I had to make sure you were fine you bumped your head once the moon had made it past it’s highest point.” He only nodded his head to her question. “I’m sorry… but Rose did kind of push it. Also don’t worry you know…” He blushed his bit looking away from her.



Hearing the rustling of the sheets he gave her a moment. “You know you’re a lot lighter than you look angel.”

Lucifina looked Cam when he mentioned she was the mother of his child, before she was able to respond he continued to talk about what happened last night, her hand went to her head and rubbed it to see if it left a big bump. Afterwards Lucifina turned red as her memories of last night slowly came back “Umm. T..thanks for that but. Wasn’t i n..naked? Who was it that put the clothes on me?” Lucifina turned even redder when she put the dots together.

Lucifina slid off the of the bed, her dress hiked up quite a bit enough that Cam sound be able to see her backside, turning slightly she looked at him, “th..thanks for carrying me here, a..and well I hope i wasn’t heavy, that would be really embarrassing”

“You were… I dressed you after you passed out.” Noticing that her face was getting redder, Cam brushed some of the hair out of her face first to check to make sure a bump or bruise wasn’t left and second was to make sure that she didn’t have a fever. Feeling that she just natural warm to the touch he sighed happy that Lucifina was fine.



Giving her a bit of room as she slided off the bed, Cam blushed a bit seeing her backside. He might have dressed her the night before but even then he didn’t pay too much attention to rear of her body. “Well I couldn’t leave you alone naked.” Touching one of the restrictors on his arm he looked up at Lucifina under his laces. “Do you want something to eat?” He spoke as he got up heading towards the door.

Lucifina turned redder once she heard that he dressed her last night since it meant he saw her naked body up close, it only got worse when when Cam moved closer to her. Once she was off and on her feet she turned and heard him mention food. “Umm Yes please, anything will do.” when cam got up and moved towards the door Lucifina slowly moved with him. “I..is it okay if i followed you? Or would it be better if I sat here.”

“You can if you wish.” Cam replied while offering her a warm smile. Walking through the door came to the open area, it was designed like the other dorm rooms with the small kitchen area and two doors one leading towards hallway and another privacy washroom. Stepping into the kitchen he took a moment to look around it was designed differently than what he was used to but for the most part everything was the same.



“Do you have any preference for breakfast?” Asking as he opened one of the cardboards looking at what he had available. Normally his job didn’t involve making preparing food but sometimes when he was away from home and accompanying a member of the royal family he did have to cook. He found most of the basic items as he mind started to turn on the possibilities of what he could make for the two of them.

Lucifina followed Cam through the door and looked at the room, though it looked really similar to Nyx’s and Her room it seemed a bit different since some items would be missing while new ones would be in the room. As Lucifina followed Cam into the kitchen she took a stool and sat down on the counter.

“I’ll… umm. I’ll just have whatever you’re going to eat Cam I don’t really have any preference on breakfast.” Lucifina looked around the kitchen before looking at Cam “I didn’t know you cooked Cam. it must be nice, I can’t cook” Lucifina said shyly. “Nyx usually does the cooking, well… she sorta usually does everything for me.” Lucifina began a short monologue remembering that besides from fighting, she haven’t really done much or is able to do much.

“Well I had to learn to cook.” Taking down some eggs he turned and looked at Lucifina. “It sounds like you have a good mate, but would make a horrible wife.” He said teasing her at the end. Grabbing a flat pot he quickly touched the fire gem channeling some of his mana though it watching the wood catch fire he placed the pan on top. Grabbing a pot and filling it with water he walked over to the fire pit and quickly started a fire before placing the pot on top. Looking at Lucifina he closed the distance between the two of them he took her hand pulling her up off the stool. “Here I’ll teach you how to cook.”



Holding onto her arm he pulled he along with him cover to the counter, taking down a wooden bowl. Placing Lucifina in front of him, with his arms around her waist before they rested on her own hands. “Now we are going to start simple.” He said as he started to instruct her, on cracking the eggs without an eggshells ending up in the mix. Slowly he moved her hands showing her how to beat the the eggs.

Lucifina pouted for a second when she heard Cam say she would be a bad wife “Meanie, I was only taught how to fight mainly, I mean i learned a bit of some things but when you’re in constant war not much matters too much besides fighting” smiling at the end she was looking around the kitchen, when she looked at Cam she realized that Cam moved closer to her and moved her from the stool. “Um.. o..o..okay” Lucifina blushed though she was happy Cam was holding her.

Lucifina was feeling extremely embarrassed for multiple reasons, having Cam stand so close behind her helping her cook and while that was happening Lucifina felt awkward as she tried to mix the bowl herself and feeling Cam’s hand correcting her movement made it more embarrassing for her. “T..t..thanks for this Cam.” Lucifina said as she was happy he was trying to help her cook.

Cam rested head on Lucifina’s shoulder as he continued to show her how to properly beat the eggs. “Now we set this aside and we grabbed the sliced meat from the cold box.” His said softly in her ear. Letting her go for a moment as he went to the cold box grabbing some of the meat he had gotten the day before and glad he was able to store it before he went outside. Placing it on the counter, grabbing a knife he placed it next to it.



“Now this is simple we are just going to slice the meat.” Taking back up his position behind her, his hands over top of hers. Correcting the way she held the knife and her angle for slicing the meat. “Good now that is done. Place it in the flat pot and let it sizzle a bit but do push it around a bit.” Releasing Lucifina he went to check on the other pot of water that he had on the fire.

Feeling Cam’s head on her shoulder she began to blush even more “Y..Y..Your doing this on purpose aren’t you Cam” Lucifina said after hearing him whisper in her ear. Once the knife was placed on the counter Lucifina moved to hold it while feeling Cam on her back again. Feeling him correct the knife that was held on her hand Lucifina took a few deep breaths as they finished cutting the meat.

Once Cam let her go she left the knife on the counter and moved towards the stool again sitting down feeling mentally and emotionally exhausted for some reason. “Umm hey Cam? I been wondering, but with all the things I seen you do and mention I was wondering,,, umm.. How old are you?”

Cam chuckled a bit, “Maybe I am, but I did learn how to cook in a similar situation.” He said as he started putting the meat in the flat pot. Letting it sit for bit while waiting for either the water to come to a boil or the meat to cook on one side before flipping it. Taking up a stool near Lucifina sitting across from him, he smiled.



“I’m twenty-eight. Though why do you ask? Have the things I done and mention seem a bit strange?” Brushing his hair back behind his right ear the shine of the resistors on his ears. “Now I know it’s impolite to ask a lady her age but I am just curious how old you are.”
