Sima watched as she ran off with one wolf tagging behind her. Sima sighed with relief, which was odd considering the circumstance. He kept track position in relative to his by using his scent. This way Sima would be absolutely certain if she was in eye sight of him. As soon as she was away from peeping sight Sima's attitude changed. He grabbed the wolf that had clamped onto his left hand. Using his right he gripped the animals throat tightly. The only thing that Sima could hear was the wolfs attempts to whine, and take in air. He threw the wolf against the closest tree, and as is hit it's echo shot out through the woods. The animal was not dead however, only hurt, and either not able to retreat, or unconscious. Sima then turned to the attention of the one on his legs. He grabbed it by the back of the neck, pulling it off his leg despite it's strong grip. He then threw it at the other wolf circling. The two yelped loudly, and one was remaining. Sima turned to it, only this time he stood taller than regularly and attempting to get his body wider by pulled his shoulders back. This was too make his body look as big as possible and intimate the animals in a way they would understand. Sima did not want to kill them, he didn't want to kill something he could let survive.
Sima took a step towards the wolf, only to watch it flee with the other wolfs in the direction that Lillith was chased off to. Sima turned around letting his body return to it's more relaxed position. Their was obviously blood on his body where he was bit, however, Sima was not worried about it. Sima could smell two types of blood. The wolves blood, and Lillith's blood. Sima did not care of his own blood, but the scent of the others un-nerved him a little. Sima did not want to kill creatures, he did not want to kill people, and blood only reminded him of when he had done so, or at least forgotten that part of himself. Lillith would more then likely see the wolves take off, and Sima with a confused stare.

Before Lilith arrived, she was swarmed by the pack of wolves, and she braced herself for whatever was to come. But nothing happened. The wolves ran right around her, as though they couldn't see her at all. She let out a breathe, shaky and uncontrolled. Lilith walked wearily to see Sima, her body now realizing the situation and becoming tired. When she knew she was there, she closed her eyes and leaned on a tree, bracing herself once more for what she expected to see; a torn apart person from where her new friend used to be. With yet another deep breath, Lilith opened her eyes, and was completely stunned.
Sima... but, but how..? She couldn't speak. She didn't understand. There he stood, wounded, yet alive. Completely alive. He didn't look to be in pain at all, yet there was blood everywhere. The wolves had run off, as though something had spooked them...
I don't understand, Sima, how could you- no, how did you do that, whatever that was? Her eyes glimmered, as her tears had never ceased, but now confusion lay within them as well. For some reason she didn't fear him now, instead she admired him. How was he able to survive against a pack of wounds? How was he able to stand there now, barely noticing his wounds? Lilith was more than shocked. She herself couldn't fully stand and was still leaning against a tree. The wolf may not have harmed her to badly, but where it had wounded with the mixture of exhaustion made it difficult for her. It was quite the experience for someone who stayed in a library for most of her time.
Lilith pushed herself up and forced herself to walk without showing pain. He was being strong, so she would be too, after all he had it far worse than she. She made her way over to Sima, and reached out for his hand.
I can't completely heal you, but I can move the process along some. She tried to meet his eyes with a small smile.

Sima watched her watch him and noticed she appeared rather confused. "I've been a freelancer a long time, dealing with wolves could be in my job description." Sima spoke confidently, however looking at her wounds, the smell was rather enticing. Sima closed his mind for a second. "It's disgusting.." he whispered under his breath. "Wolves are animals, if you know them well enough their not a big deal, for example, you can release their bite by sticking your hand in their mouth and squeezing on the tongue." Sima didn't know if that was true for everyone, his grip was rather strong. "That's not too amazing anyways, we live in a world full of people from other worlds! Who knows what powers they could have.." Sima tried to keep her surprise to a minimum. "I mean I just told a couple of wolves to scram" He laughed nervously. Sima looked at her as she spoke, as if about to heal. Sima could put her words together quick and realized it was either a spell or ability for healing. Regardless Sima didn't want that to be used on him. "What do you think your doing!" Sima spoke very seriously, almost with a angered tone.
"Yourself, then that wolf, if anything." Sima pointed towards the wolf unconscious by the tree, the one he had threw there earlier. It had not had the chance to run, and Sima was not to kill it for no good reason. Sima didn't know how fast she was at healing, despite it, he knew the priorities. "Your the priority, remember that in life." Sima hid the fact of his own worried thoughts by selling it off as some sort of life lesson, this could be easily seen through with the right viewpoint however. "So no tears, and no fears, and no blood here." Sima pointed to her wounds. "And, I don't like to look someone in the eyes that is crying, so you best stop it.." Sima spoke using it as a way to keep himself from gazing into her purples, and to avoid hurting her feelings. Sima instead had his eyes on her dress, it was torn. He couldn't help but feel responsible. Sima had brought the wolf by her, and had he not done it she would have been out of this mess. Was it an expensive dress? Sima had no clue what anything was like in this world. Sima could also tell she was trying to hide her pain, just from the way her body shuddered when walking earlier. He began to wonder what her perception of strength was, because in his eyes she was the strongest person he'd seen in a long time. Many people would have fled and not returned, and Sima expected her to do the same.

Lilith flinched away at first, from his angered tone at her trying to heal him. She let her hands fall, and her face dropped for a moment before it clicked in. He didn't want her to heal him, because he felt responsible. Without a word, Lilith made her way over to the fallen wolf. Though it was not awake, it still frightened her, but she did her best not to show it. After slight hesitation she extended her hand and places them both on the creatures side. She knew she couldn't heal it completely, as she could feel it had a fractured rip and sprained leg. But she could ease the pain, and quicken the initial process. After a moment, the animal opened its eyes, and though she wanted to, Lilith did not flinch away from it. She looked into his eyes for a moment, and saw fear. But it was not her own, it was the wolves. Her heart sank. She gave it a sympathetic smile, though she did not know if it would do any good.
After a few more minutes, she stood, knowing that if she continued she wouldn't be able to help herself, or as she intended to regardless, Sima.
Job description or not, there were three or four wolves on you Sima. She didn't look at him when she spoke. She wasn't angry, just determined. She was facing him, but her head was down, concentrating on her left arm where the wolf had gouged a deep whole into it. She winced slightly when is stung, but it calmed soon after. The wound didn't close, she didn't want to waste that much magic. She did the same on her other arm and left leg. She'd long forgotten about the one on her face. Her hair was a scattered mess around her, leaves and twigs entangled everywhere within it. But Lilith didn't care.
Whatever you did, I thank you. For both saving me, and leaving them alive. Healing herself had lifted some of the physical exhaustion but added some mental, though she didn't let it show. She once again walked over to Sima, but this time didn't ask for his permission. Whatever he had done, he had saved Lilith from the rest of the wolves, and for that she was grateful. She could have died without him here.
She took his arm gingerly, inspecting the wound on his hand first. She brushed the dirt off of it, before moving her other hand and placing into his. She closed her eyes and felt as the bites little by little healed. This one she let close completely. She knew she had enough magic to nearly close all of his. Of that she made sure of.

Sima paid no attention to her magic. He had not trusted mages every since they cast him into this world, and destroyed everything he held of the slightest importance. In his world mages were regular people, people that realized what great power they could achieve through these magics. Sima couldn't stop himself for trusting someone who seemed so nice, yet, still found it hard to look at magic in the use. "I've seen people take 9-10, it's really not that big of a feat." Sima tried to talk the actions down, and he truly believed it was no big deal. It was only when she turned to him and took his hand in hers. Sima was confused, but when he looked into her eyes he was more or less terrified. Lost in the world of the past with no hope of escaping, especially when she had a hold of his hand. Sima had no idea what was going on outside of his mind, the only thing he could see was the horrible screams of the people that used to be his family. Sima was attacked by mages, sent upon him by fearful people, the mages were the only thing strong enough to cause significant harm, other than other demons or demon slayers. Sima could remember the mages so high and mighty wishing for their own immortality. It was so ironic how people wanted what Sima had so bad, and how badly Sima wanted to rid himself of that power. Sima's wish was granted, and he was no longer immortal, yet everything he had was taken from him, and now he was a lonely vessel surviving on a promise. The mages had put him here and stricken him from any titles he held. Sima the Father, Sima the ageless, Sima the Demon, Sima the monster. It was all washed away, the good and the bad. Sima could only begin to remember when they used their magic to pull him to this world, he could only watch, and not do what he wanted to, Kill those mages.
As soon as Sima felt his founds, which began to feel better, he immediately reacted by ripping his hand away from her. Sima didn't mean to snap, but he didn't realize he was doing. "I told you to leave it!" Sima yelled in anger. Sima gripped his hands very forcefully, she could have used any spell on him. The thought etched at the back of his mind. She could have used a mind spell, he could be her slave. She could have used a spell for tracking purposes, or she could even be trying to send him back to a world where he no longer wanted to return to. It was better to be a ghost then a target for everyone. Sima would never strike a woman, so their was no raising of his hands to even show intention towards it. However in his anger he couldn't stop but look at her eyes with a hate for something else. Sima was having a hard time keeping his emotions under control at this point, and his powers were sadly linked to his emotions. Sima was having a hard time coping, "You could have done anything.." He muttered almost as if to himself, but still with a serious tone. "You could be tracking, enslaving, selling, destroying, anything with that spell" It was true it was a healing spell, but mages can cast more then one spell at a time, at least in Sima's world.
It was easy to see how the sight of her using a spell on him so easily degraded his emotions. It was also true that each scenario he spoke of had happened, which only lead to his paranoia of it happening again. Despite Sima showing no signs of pain it did not mean that he did not feel pain, he only knew how to bare pain. Each one of those memories hurt him deeply, and if anything that made him afraid it was the thought of being sold like an exotic pet, killed for a ransom, or even to become someones powerful slave. Sima fell to the ground grasping his head tightly, he didn't know what to do, was spell did she cast alongside that one? His hands shook slightly, but his fear was not directed at her, it was directed at the spell that could be upon him. "Did you figure it out so quickly, " Sima muttered under his breath confused, and mentally exhausted, Sima was divulging too much obviously, however, his mind wasn't in the right set to be able to stop. Why did she have to do that, he specifically told her not too! At least in his head anyways.

She was focused, her eyes closed, blocking out the rest of the world. This was taking a lot for her. Out of no where, she was snapped out of it as he ripped his hand away from her. Her face was hurt, her eyes wide and mouth open. She wasn't expecting him to pull away like that, and her magic recoiled on her painfully.
I just want to help you.. She whispered under her breath, unable to understand. She looked at Sima, and it looked like he was having a war within his mind. She knew he wouldn't hurt her, so she didn't move away from him, but she knew something was wrong. More than just the wolves. When he looked into her eyes, her widened even more, and shinning one more as tears pricked her once again. They did not fall, but they threatened. The look that his eyes held were terrifying. She was not afraid, for it was not that type of terror, but instead it was a hatred so pure, so certain. Lilith had never before seen such a look, not aimed at her, and it hit her deeply. She heard him mumbling, speaking accusations against her.
Sima! I would never use magic to hurt someone! Just the thought of it repulsed her. She knew she wasn't even capable of such magic, only having limited healing abilities, and some control of vines. Lilith brought her hands up to her chest, as though she were holding her heart. She could tell he'd been hurt before, by someone with magic. He no longer trusted magic. It wasn't uncommon, but it still hurt to be placed in the same group as those who do the hurting.
Lilith decided not to speak, as she saw him crumble slowly, and her worry for him only rose. Slowly, he fell to the ground, shaking. Her heart went out to him, and she just wanted to help in anyway she could. She couldn't stand to see him like this, anybody like this. She kneeled to the ground with him, reaching out to him, but stopping when she heard him speak; Did you figure it out so quickly, She wasn't sure how to react. What was she to figure out? Or not to? She felt as though Sima was gone, lost in his mind. She reached out to him now, placing her hand delicately onto his shoulder. He looked so fragile, so broken. She couldn't see his face, but she didn't need to. She tightened her grip on his shoulder just slightly, attempting to conceal her own emotions. This was no time for her to cry, this was not about her. She sat flat on the ground now, keeping her hand on his shoulder. She would have taken his hand, but she didn't want to startle him. It was odd for her, comforting a stranger. But by now, for some reason, he didn't feel like one to her. Not at all.

Sima didn't even realize that she had stayed. Not many people did when witnessing something so broken. It was true Sima could be broken, but it didn't mean Sima couldn't pick himself back up. When he looked into her eyes that were almost in tears, it was a sight he'd seen many times. The purple hues that seemed to always remind him of bad things seemed to remind him of good. When he looked up he no longer saw Lillith, but another woman looking down at him with worry. Sima would never let her become so worried about his well being, and Sima felt like he had to keep control. Sima reached his hand over to her shoulder and grabbed on firmly, but not enough to hurt the soft individual. "No fears, No tears" Sima knew what he wanted to put on the end of that little rhyme, however, he was afraid that it didn't rhyme. Sima's hands thought still shaken were mostly calm. He pulled himself through brute force to keep control of his emotions, but it was painful, and he sure he put her through pain. Sima could only feel deeply horrible for doing such a thing to anyone, and it always hit hard. How could he look himself in the mirror, when he knew he was just something that caused pain for whatever was closest. He smiled brightly however, despite the mental strength he needed for doing it. Sima began to think that using his powers would be devastating for a thing like her. Sima's mortal body could not handle the strength, and it tore up when he lost control and used too much. She would literally see his body begin to be cut and bleed from nothing but the energy that passed around his body.
Sima no longer was immortal, his dream essentially come true. "I make food.." Sima looked away with a bit of shame. "for you," Sima couldn't help but offer after causing so much devastation. Sima was used to causing people to cry, so perhaps it was time to make them smile. Of course Sima needed a ktchen, and the forest lacked that. Of course, if one would prefer grilled squirrel. Sima didn't know how she'd react to all this, but realized something else important. "one thing, Don't use magic on me.." Sima sighed while getting to his feet.

Lilith stayed still, watching as Sima slowly put himself back together. It was difficult to watch, but she didn't look away. The tears in her eyes faded, and her heart was no longer beating quickly. She was simply sitting next to him, holding his shoulder. She couldn't help but have a small smile when he said No fears, no tears. It was endearing and meant to help her, which she appreciated, but she could help but wonder to whom it was originally meant for. She knew it wasn't her, but she wouldn't press about it. It looked as though the mental war which Sima was fighting has ceased for the moment, as he looked at her and gave her a bright smile.
He's noble, and kind hearted. He see's that I'm worried, so he's clearing away his pain from view Lilith's chest felt heavy with sadness, but she wouldn't dare let it show. He was so strong. She hand't a clue what this poor man had gone through in his past, but it clearly still affected him. She was taken out of her thoughts when he spoke once more; I make food... for you Another smile from Lilith rose to the surface, and she held back a bubbling giggle. Food was always a good answer, but she couldn't believe he was thinking about such things now.
Lilith stood as well, dusting off her dress, though that was pointless, and looked at Sima, still silent. His next words she understood completely, though she still found curious. One thing, don't use magic on me... She wondered why he was so scared of it, so untrusting, but again, didn't press the matter, and simply nodding slightly in response. She would keep her magic to herself, unless asked or forced to.
Well... it's getting quite late. Lilith looked to the sky, but could no longer see through the leaves of the trees, as the sun had gone away. noticing this now, she also started to feel the unsettling chill of the night air. She would suggest they head back, but if she remembered correctly, he had no where to head back to, aside from this forest...
If you're offering me food, then I offer my kitchen up for use. It's quite small, but it should be okay... She paused, hoping her next statement wasn't to far.
And seeing as you'll already be there, you may as well stay the night. It's cold, and no one should have to stay out in the cold at night. Her face was flushed and she turned away from him now, searching for her lost basket. Once she found it, she saw that it was barely staying together, but it didn't matter, she could easily make a new one.
Well, come on, the air is getting colder. She glanced at him before started to walk back towards the end of the forest, not letting him tell her no. She reached around her shoulder, attempting to pull her cloak around her, to warm her, but it was so torn it made no difference. Lilith shuddered lightly, but continued walking, only glancing back to make sure he was following her.

Sima could tell that it was getting quite late. He wasn't feeling bad anymore, but he was having a hard time coping with what she had done. Sima wanted to make it better, what was the best way to that? TO COOK THE THOUGHTS AWAY! Sima thought so anyways. He just generally agreed with her. "Yeah it is getting late," Sima thought that he would return to the forest and perhaps begin hunting again in the morning, however, his eyes looked in curiousity to her words. "A kitchen?" SIma thought to himself about the ones he had been used to using. It had to start with food, because how else would they get the heat for cooking the materials. Sima wondered if it was also a metal top, which was very good for heat conduction. Sima wasn't quite sure how to react when she offered that he stay the night. Sima wasn't one to reject a warm nights rest. Sima also wondered what she had in her pantry. He had remembered various larger kitchens that he had worked in a long time ago. The pantries were stocked to the brim with different types of salted meats, or fresh vegetables, or even some oils. Sima wasn't expecting something so large as that, but enough to make something that was exquisite.
Sima was quite impressed how the situations changed so rapidly. One moment he was enthralled in anger, and the next he was getting ready to cook a meal. Sima really had no idea how this was even possible. "Is your place far," Sima asked curiously. "Do you work in the morning?" Sima thought it would be funny to barge in on her during her work hours, of course without telling her. Sima didn't know why, but he felt like it could be entertaining to tease her in front of her co-workers. Perhaps Sima was to jokingly drop off a bundle of roses thus increasing curious thoughts in her workforce, and embarrassing Lillith at the same time. Sima smiled with his thought being able to visualize Lillith being questioned by her co-workers at what was dropped off, plus Sima could use it to apologize so it served two purposes. Sima was beginning to think of a way to write such an apology to cause even more of a stir within her workplace, if he had the chance. In fact Sima found himself almost giggling out loud, he found it that entertaining. "it's not that bad out tonight though, Sima noticed her shivers. He looked at his clothing, attempting to be kind of enough to give her some. He only stopped and realized how idiotic that would be.
Walking around on a cold night like this topless? Idiotic. Sima of course wasn't in any mood to give his jacket away, so his shirt was the only option. No one but Sima wore his jacket, and his under shirt, well walking with a jacket and no undershirt would still be extremely cold. He just remained quiet on the thought and sped up a bit to walk beside her.

Lilith kept a steady pace, wanting to get back to her warm house sooner rather than later. She knew she would have to come back out to this forest in a couple of days, as she never gathered the herbs to ventured out for in the first place. She supposed that would have to wait. She wasn't sure if she expected Sima to follow her and take her up on her offer, but she was pleasantly surprised when he sped up to walk beside her. She shook her head in response to his first question.
No, not really. Once we get out of the forest is just another five minutes. She spoke softly now, feeling her forgotten exhaustion her her again. She was happy with the current situation, but completely stunned as well. She Lilith, who purposely avoided 90% of people all the time, had met a stranger, risked her life -so she thought- to go back and help him, watched him break down, and then proceeded to over him shelter for the night. Surely she'd gone mad. But she didn't care. Though they had just met, she felt oddly comfortable walking beside him, helping him and wondering about him. He was so odd, though who was she to judge?
Not in the morning now, but early afternoon I start my shift at the library. She pondered for a moment before continuing. I think I'm just and extra hand tomorrow though, if I remember correctly, they already have two librarians on duty for the day. She shrugged, as it made no difference to her.
Lilith shrugged her way out of the last few trees, emerging out of the forest. Almost there. She smiled at Sima, and looked down, glancing into the basket. Though it was torn, some of the berries had stayed for the ride and she offered them to him.
Do you want the last few? Her pace had slowed a little, knowing home wasn't far at all, and then after a moment stopped entirely in front of a small cabin on the side of the road. Most people wouldn't notice it, as it blended in with the foliage and bigger buildings the continued on next to it. She really did live on the outskirts of the district.
... Well... here we are. She was suddenly embarrassed by how small her house was, and was scrambling to think where he would sleep. She hadn't thought this through at all. But she shook her head and stepped up to open the door, stepping aside to let him in first. She decided that she would give him the bed, and she would take an extra blanket to a chair. She didn't mind at all.

Sima walked with her, enjoying each little step. Sima found it easier to have a better time at this angle, it was very difficult to look her in the eyes walking at side to side, so it was more comfortable for him. He listened to her speak of the berries, but simply motioned them away. "You can have the rest, but don't spoil your appetite," Sima laughed, noticing their was only a few, so it was quite likely that it wouldn't matter. When they approached her house Sima didn't comment too much on it, he could tell it was hers before she pointed it out simply following the scent around it. Hers was the most present, so it was pretty much common sense for his nose. "I like it." Sima spoke kindly, not judging it upon its size. Sima could tell just by her kindness that she would want him to take the bed, and Sima was going to refuse this of course, and more then likely take a chair instead, at least he thought so anyways. Sima watched as she opened the door and allowed him entrance into her home. Sima waited for her to enter, and awaited just at the entrance of the home. He breathed in the air wondering what he would smell. Did she have some intrigue of lovers? Family over for dinner recently? Perhaps she had an interesting chocolate splurge.. It was a little creepy just how much Sima could find out by scent alone, but when he smelled the room, he was a little bit shocked. All Sima could really smell was loneliness, the only scent around was hers, and the food, and that stagnating book smell. Sima was slightly put off by the smell. His nose twitched ever so slightly in his confusion, he would disperse the smell and probably cover it when he walked about the area for the night, but it would still linger because it was thick.
"Do you have a family?" Sima questioned. "Certainly a woman like yourself is fit to betrothed soon," Sima spoke whilst looking at his own engagement ring. It was worn strictly to remind him of his failure, despite his wife being gone, it was still there. Sima didn't know why he wanted to keep wearing it, she was the one that brought the mages into their life, and ruined them in the process. Still it was on his finger, he was surprised she never questioned it before, but maybe it was because metal never mentioned it before.

Lilith popped the rest of the berries into her mouth, muffling her laugh in the process. When he did not enter her home first, she shrugged lightly and took the lead, keeping the door open for him obviously. Her worry about it's size soon dissipated when Sima said he liked her house. She now felt a small sense of pride in it. It was hers, and always had been. She smiled to herself, as she untied the ruined cloak from around her neck, and hanging it back on its hook beside the door. Her house was indeed small, broken into three separate rooms, only one with a door, being the bathroom. The rest was like an open living space. To the right of the door was a bedroom, with a small closet, single bed with silver dyed sheets, and a small nightstand. To the left of the door was her small kitchen, equipped with a sink, stove/oven, and a small wooden table. She kept all her food on shelves around the whole kitchen. The only thing separating the two spaces was a wall, with a big opening in the middle, so you could see one room from the other.
Home sweet home. She mumbled only to herself, smoothing out the fabric against the wooden wall before turning to face Sima, a lonely look on her face. His questions brought up many sad things, many memories and questions of her own, that she had been asking her whole life. She smiled sadly at him, and looked away, leading him to the kitchen table, where she sat, taking a deep breath.
A family... Her smiled faded into nothingness, her face blank. No. I don't. I never have. Her tone was cut off, short and bitter almost. Lilith often sounded sweet, kind and shy, Bitter was something that came rarely and not without good reason.
And as for me being betrothed, now or soon, no way. She let out a sarcastic laugh, just the thought of it made her want to cry. How could she ever create a family of her own when she never knew what having a family was like? Lilith was an orphan, it was all she knew. And besides, who could ever want to love her enough to marry her? She was weak, anti-social. It was impossible. Lilith shook her head, glancing around the room before something shiny caught her eye.
It seems as though you are though, Sima. She nodded her head in the direction of his hand. She didn't want to pry, but if he was going to, she might as well. She didn't mind telling her story, it just took a lot to get out, and she wanted to make sure he actually wanted to know before spilling it out to someone that didn't care.

When Sima hard her words regarding his engagement ring he couldn't even speak. It hurt far too much to discuss it, instead he simply replied under his breath. "Not anymore," And before she had the chance to even glance in his eyes, he moved to the kitchen, without regard for anything around him. Sima kept his head strategically placed in a manner to hide his face from her. Sima was able to find her pantry using scent, and he opened it flipping through what she had. Sima found some old dough, it would be hard to prepare, but Sima was strong enough to do that. Making sure to keep his face away from Lilltih he was quiet in conversation, yet loud in the kitchen. Sima placed the dough on a counter, and pulled out a bunch of strawberries from the pantry. He then began looking for a pot, it didn't take too long as he scavenged her cabinets. Sima then put the strawberries into the pot, and went over to the oven. He reached his hand inside it and felt the charcoal, realizing he needed to start the fire. He placed his hand within the oven and did something rather reckless, but he was confident that his hand was far enough that Lillith wouldn't notice. Sima stopped fighting his emotion, and for a brief second his body wanted to turn to his original form, and with that Sima could control the electricity that came with it. A small red spark appeared in his hand, which was enough to draw a flame. Sima then pulled his hands from the oven, and went over to wash his hands with the water that was present. Sima made sure to allocate his water so that they had enough fresh water without having to get some more. He then put some of the fresh water in the pot with the berries, but only a small amount. Sima then took the strawberries out one by one and began taking the green tops off one by one and tossing them into the sink. Sima then rolled up his sleeves and began mashing the strawberries down into a paste. When Sima's hands were pretty dirty off the strawberries he went over to the dough and began forming it. The strawberries helped it not stick so much to his hands, but he still made quite a mess. Sima was so shocked that he hardly made out her words, he understood her dilemma fully however. Sima had a family for a brief time, but when his true form was unveiled it was as if he was never apart of one at all. Sima was an outcast, and she certainly seemed to have the same appeal.
After forming the dough thin enough Sima looked for something that it could fit in. He tried to make it thin enough to toast like pie crust, but he wasn't sure if that part would work out the best. Sima then took the pie and placed it in the now well lit oven. Sima then went on to grab some broccoli. Sima then grabbed a few more components like rosemary, some carrots, and parcely. Sima then grabbed another pot and filled it with water placing all the materials in the pot and putting it on a stove. Sima realized there was no meat however, so he was going to get some. "I'll be right back, your missing something" Sima spoke as if distant and cold. He knew he was being rude, but he couldn't help it, and if she got a glance of his face she would realize that he was about to cry. Sima made sure to keep his face away from hers whilst making his way to the exit. She was not going to stop him, the cold air would help cool off his emotions hopefully. Sima left the house in a rush in order to get what he wanted, and blow off steam.
Sima closed the door making sure that Lillith would not see where he turned off too. Sima then made his way back to the o'so dangerous forest. The moment he was at least partially covered by the trees, and unable to see the town, Sima angrily punched the closest tree. As he did so red electricity sparked around his hand, and went it hit the wood of the tree it only busted up his hand. Sima hit the tree again, gritting his teeth trying to hold back his feelings. Sima knew he would not be able to keep control of himself forever, he had to get over the past somehow. By now Sima was crying silently, his right hand bleeding by the force he had struck it against the tree. The blood enveloped the ring on his finger almost tainting it in a way. Sima used his scent to scan the forest, he could smell blood. This wasn't his blood however, but the blood of a deer. Sima could tell it was from the wolves searching for food, more then likely surrounding it. He made his way quickly through the forest. When the wolves spotted him they darted, and the deer as well. Sima wasn't going to let it get it away, and ran after the deer like an animal on an instinctual hunt. Whilst running he swooped against the ground picking up rather large stones. If Sima allowed his emotions to take over he could run much faster then the deer, but his muscles would tear not being able to handle his true power. his body was limitless at his home world, but here it was weak. Sima whipped the rock at it's neck, and caused it to loose stride. This gave him enough catch to grab it by the antlers and drive his hand into its neck. Sima was full of depression, and clouded. Sima wouldn't kill a animal so brutally and inhuman, but a demon would. He ripped the creatures throat out, and dropped it's lifeless body on the ground. Sima began skinning it, it was apparent he had done this many times.
After skinning it he properly meated it, cutitng out the bad parts, and using the skin to hold the good meat. The wolves would come by and pick clean the carcass so Sima got the fur and the meat. By now Sima was distracted with the intoxication of the hunt. It was instinctual for a demon, and he was no longer crying. Sima then made his way back to the house of Lillith's and entered the door with a large sack of venison. He then made his way to kitchen and began putting it into the pot, not realizing how dirty he was, and he then set the deer skin down, not realizing just how much blood he was covered in, and yawned slightly. Sima perhaps felt a little too much at home.

Lilith sat in the chair, leaning forward onto the table, her hair spilling around her like a blanket she could hide under. She didn't look at him, and she knew he wasn't looking at her. She barely heard him speak, but what he said was enough to keep her from asking questions. She heard him make his way around her kitchen, and it didn't bother her at all. Actually, she wasn't paying any attention to him. She was lost in her own world of wonderment. Who were her parents? How did they die? Why would no one tell her? It didn't matter now, as anyone who would have none died or lost contact with Lilith years ago. She kept her head down resting on her arms, on top of the table, tears yet again forcing their way out. She held them on, holding on the best she could. She'd cried to much already in from of Sima. It was enough. She heard him speak once more, something about her missing something he needed, but she didn't raise her head as he left the house. She assumed he'd return after a while.
As soon as she heard the door to her house click shut she lost control. Tears flooded over her face, onto her hands and onto the table. The sleeves of her torn dress were soaked. But she made no sound other than her breath. Her shoulders shuddered lightly, unable to be still. She tried not to think of things like her family often, as it only lead to pain and sadness. Her lack of friends was her own fault, but she thought she was getting better. She'd met Kail, a nice fated man. Aria, a strange but wondrous woman whom she admired. And Wayland, an awkward man that made her laugh. She considered these people to be her friends, though she knew nothing about them, nor they her. Sima, whom she'd only met today already knew more than she'd told anyone, had already been into her home, her sanctuary, when no one else had. But he had to ask, and it made sense, where her family was. She overlooked the betrothed part entirely, as she'd accepted long ago that she'd never get married. She could never hinder someone that way, so they too would have to bare her pain.
Lilith heard the sound of footsteps making their way back towards her home, so she quickly wiped away the tears with part of her dress, and tried to make her face seem normal, and not red from crying. She sat up taller, but kept her hair around her like a safety net. He was as quiet as she before he left, so she knew he may be in a similar state as she was, though probably for other reasons. She didn't turn when entered, but looked at him when he walked in front of her, covered in blood, holding meat that she assumed he just killed. A shudder ran through her body. She forgot to tell him she didn't eat meat. She wouldn't tell him now, it would be rude. It wasn't as though she hated it, she simply respected the lives of animals to much to go out and kill for herself, or waste money on the meat that someone else killed for. It was more morals than anything else. She wouldn't tell him.
She watched his back carefully, and was able to tell that somehow, he was feeling better. Whatever was eating at him before had gone away from the moment. She watched him silently for a few minutes longer before clearing her throat.
Sima. I was being rude before. I shouldn't have snapped. She took her tone with him earlier as snapping, as it was so rare that she spoke that way. Please allow me to explain. No, I do not have a family, and I never have. You see, my mother and father were both murdered when I was a toddler. No more than 3 I believe. I was put into an orphanage, and I stayed there my entire life, up until I turned 17, I think it was. No one ever told me why, or who. For some reason it was a big secret I wasn't allowed in on. I still don't know. She sighed, rubbing her face, pushing the hair out of it. Her eyes looked drained, lonely. Not that he was looking at her.
As for friends, or lovers, I have distanced myself from the world for as long as I can remember. Being in an orphanage, you learn quickly not to trust those around you because eventually they always leave. So, until recently, I've never had friends. I still don't really have people I can call true friends, or that I trust, not really. Just acquaintances. I-I don't know why I'm telling you all this. I've never told anyone that... Her voice faded out, her throat no longer allowing her to speak, but she'd gotten out all she wanted to. She decided to keep her self esteem issues of marriage, or love, to herself. He needn't know that much about her, this was personal enough, and she felt crazy for sharing it. He probably didn't even want to know. She felt so stupid, so weak for letting this hinder her as it still did. She lowered her eyes from his back, and stared at the old wood on the table. She remained silent now.

Sima listened to her ramble almost incoherently like he had before her so many times. Sima felt like he knew the reason she was so easily able to open up to him. When she spoke and Sima realized just how much in common the two he had he couldn't help but feel sympathy. It was one thing when you didn't understand what someone went through, but when you could the emotion of sympathy was that much stronger. Sima turned, however with a different attitude, almost a whole new personality. This man was Sima, a man forged from a demon, with enough resolve to do any task set out in his mind. Despite what he may feel or be reminded of, when Sima turned to look at her, and he looked her straight in the eyes. His spoke of confidence, strength, and honesty. When you peered into his eyes you couldn't help but be swept away in their natural blue hue, and get lost in the charismatic tone of his voice. Sima smirked with confidence, and his whole body etched that confidence to whoever was looking at him. His attitude was just show upbringing that it was hard to even notice just how filthy he was covered in blood. Sima had made sure to wipe his face off earlier however.
"Your wrong," His voice was charming and soothing, yet demanding at the same time. "You are not rude, and you will have a family" Sima took a breather for a moment as he walked closer to her. "You act as if you are some cheap piece of plastic that people want to throw away! Your different then that Lillith, and If I have to set up my restaurant next door and stay here forever to prove it then I will!" Sima's voice was not yelling, or frieghtening, but demanding in a very nice way, a way that drew your attention in and soaked you into his eyes. "You've shut yourself off from the world!" Sima laughed slightly. "That just means I have to show it to you," Sima smiled brightly like the sun. "I can't show you my world, " Sima pointed to his eyes, as if meaning to say he can't show her his perspective, but really it was a clever way to hide the truth in his words. "But, I will show your world, and take you anywhere you want to see if that's necessary" Sima sighed for a moment as he got to his knees to get on her level in the chair. He looked her in the eyes and said. "There's however some conditions to my generosity here!" Sima raised his hand pointing a finger as if getting ready to count. "one; If for what any reason you get hurt you are priority number one, heal yourself " "Two, I don't want to see you cry, if you cry I may be forced to take dramatic actions against whatever is causing it" "Three, If I need someone to talk to you, you have to be there." Sima knew he was going overboard, but he didn't care. He meant every word, and when Sima made up his mind he made up his mind. In fact this was really the first time he was acting like himself. Sima was their to make life better for other people, and that was what he was going to do. Sima's dream was still possible beside this house, and he would be helping someone out in the process who in many ways went through what Sima did. "One more condition, " Sima sighed, "Realize your safe whenever your next to me! No wolf is ever going to hurt you!" Sima laughed nervously scratching the back of his head.
"Oh, ONE MORE condition.. I need to use your bath,.." Sima jokingly spoke the last one however, his speel was done. Sima probably seemed as if he was treating her specially, but he was not, this was how he wanted to treat everyone, with a kind and pure heart, but not everyone was able to see that despite his past he could have a pure heart, although it was a little tainted at the moment, Sima was cleaning it one layer at a time.
