Lilith looked up when she heard him turn to face her. Her lilac eyes glisten softly, but she was done crying. Her mouth was gaping open slightly, while he spoke. She didn't know what to say, not for any of it. He actually believed she could have a family some day. A real family. He seemed so determined when he said that. He was trying to boost how she thought of herself, and she couldn't help but smile sadly. She had told him her story, yet she still felt alone. He was standing right in front of her, but she couldn't rid herself of this weird feeling in her stomach. It was fluttery and weird. She didn't like it. She gave a real smile this time, as he spoke of showing her the world she lived in. It was a nice offer, but she knew she could never take him up on that- she had just met him.
She felt slightly startled when she could look him directly in the eyes, as he kneeled in front of her. She'd looked into them before, but she'd never actually noticed how pretty they were. She looked away, laughing at his conditions, though not rudely, she was laughing as though they made her happy. Once he'd spoken his third condition, she reached out and placed a hand on his cheek lightly. She didn't understand her own actions, but it didn't matter now.
Of course I will be here. I feel like I've known you a lot longer than just today, which is really odd, but I accept it. So of course, I will be here if you need me. She meant it to sound endearing, but it just came out awkward. Her people skills were really lacking. She smiled yet again at his "Last condition" believing him entirely. She still didn't understand how he'd survived against all those wolves, but she knew better than to question him again, not now.
Lilith removed her hand from his face to cover her own, stifling laughter. Of course you can. Its in the back, by the bedroom. She point behind her, not wanting to get up, as he still kneeled in front of her. She knew she was correct about him. He was kind hearted, only wanting to do good. She really admired him, and looked at him with awe on her face, though she didn't realize it.
Thank you Sima. She was touched, and really grateful for all he had said, and all it meant to her. Once again, without thinking, she leaned forward in the chair to where he kneeled, and hugged him tightly.

Sima was slightly shocked when she hugged him. Sima didn't however pull away, it was something he needed. He put his hands around her, pulling her tightly to his chest. Sima loved the feeling of a hug, the warmth, the connections created from such a nice action. Sima could feel her soft skin, and, despite not really wanting to let go, the smell of blood on himself irritated his nose. It was when he was this close to her that could still smell the occasional blood that was drying on her. Sima released his grip from her and stood tall, "I will tell you when to take the food out, but for now I'm going to take a shower." Sima was going to cook it rather slowly, it would taste much better this way. He made his way to the bath. After retrieving the water Sima needed for his bath he closed the door and began removing his clothing. He could still smell the food, so he would be able to tell when it was done. Sima entered the tub, and watched as the blood began to come off of his body. Sima began cleaning himself rather efficiently too. In a matter of minutes he was almost sparkling. Sima then looked over to his muddy and dirty clothes. "Uhmm.. Lillith!" Be called out nervously.
"I don't have another change of clothes, and these ones are rather dirty! You wouldn't happen to have any clothes for men do you?" Sima honestly had no clue what he was going to do, walking around naked certainly wasn't an objective. This was a pretty easy sign he thought, at least, that he was fated, because not many people traveled with only one pair of clothes, other then people from other worlds that were recently pulled to this one. Sima was unsure if their was any sort of toweling either, perhaps he should have checked first. He sighed looking at how much the water had turned to red.

Lilith felt the hug lingering slightly on her, but shook her head and stood out of the chair. Sima was already in her tub, she decided it would be safe to change now, without the chance of him seeing her - she was now noticing the lack of doors in her house. She carefully undid the threading on her chest, and gingerly stepped out of the torn gown. Unlike other women who wore many layers, Lilith had been wearing only the dress, and she shivered as she felt the coolness of the air in her house. Quickly, she opened her closet and found a more comfortable dress, one that could be used to sleep in if necessary, which was her intention. It was a baby blue in colour, short sleeves, ending before her elbow, and a skirt that stopped just below her knees. It wasn't great, but it was the best she had that was suitable for sleeping in when the time came, other than actual sleeping clothes.
Lilith sat on her bed, combing through her hair, pulling out all the bits of the forest that she could. It took a few minutes, as her hair was long and thick, but before long she was finished. She looked up when she heard her name, and got up, assuming it was time to remove the food. She stopped a few feet away from the bathroom door when she registered his tone, and the words which he spoke. She put her hands over her mouth, trying so hard not to burst out laughing. A change of clothes. Did she have any? Of course not! She lived alone and was a woman! She ran to her closet, trying to find something, anything, her face a deep shade of red.
Uhhhhhhh...! Let me check! Her tone was just as nervous as his, for she didn't want to think about the options of what could happen if she didn't find any. Lilith wore mostly dresses and skirts, but she was able to find a single pair of pants that she'd needed a while back for reasons she could no longer remember. They were a dark purple, and would just to big for her if she recalled correctly. She hoped they would work because they were all she had. She didn't remember him asking for a towel before either, so she made sure to grab one as well before standing outside the door.
Uh, Sima? She knocked nervously, unsure of how to give them to him. I found something that may work. And I grabbed you a towel... uhm.... how do I..? She shifted her weight from one foot to the other, really not knowing how to proceed.

SIma looked at the door curiously. "You can come in and set the stuff down," It wasn't as if she could see anything, unless she really wanted to and changed her perspective their wasn't really much odds of her eyes getting a tasteful glance of his manlihood. Sima simply continued awaiting the clothes that would be his for the rest of the night, and the morning. Sima played with the water while he awaited for his chance to escape the tub, he splashed it around curiously awaiting his new clothes. Sima was expecting their to be a lack of shirt. "Just you know, don't sneak a peak." Sima laughed with a big grin anxiously awaiting his new oddly colored clothes. "I noticed you had some drinks,| Sima pried into her alcoholic beverages. "Perhaps we can have that with the food we will be partaking in Sima chuckled.

Like I would try! Her voice was full of sarcasm as she slowly opened the door, making a point of keeping her eyes on the floor. She knew the room well enough, and picked a spot on the ground that they would not get wet when he got out.
I hope it fits you, because it's all I have unless you'd rather one of my dresses. She laughed a little, keeping her back to him. However, she had to turn to make her way out of the room, what with it being rather small, and though she didn't look, she couldn't help but notice the colour of the water.
Is that yours or the animal which we are eating? She questioned him softly, not sure what she expected the answer to be. She knew he'd had blood everywhere, and none of it was his fault, but she had to ask. She kept her face towards the exit of the room, so her profile was to him, and she could see his dark hair in her peripheral vision. She couldn't help but notice that he was handsome. She made herself stare at the coat rack in the other room. her face was beginning to heat up as she became more nervous.
And sure, if you'd like to. That's what it's there for Her voice was tiny now, not trusted it not to crack out of nerves.

Sima awaited for her to leave the bathroom, not really noticing too much about her entrance at all. Sima liked the way she acted in the bathroom, she was slow, she stayed away, this made him feel comfortable, and he had no worries about her attempting to drown him. It sounded like a random thought, but that was really where his fear of large bodies of water came from. When Sima's 'father' figured out he was a demon, he attempted to drown Sima, whcih was the root of this fear, and why he never learned to swim. It also made it hard to trust other people around water, although she was a tiny frame and he would be able to break the bath tub quite easily. Sima hopped out of the tub the minute she closed the door behind her, and then began putting on the clothes she had left. Purple pants? He wondered if he looked rather strapping wearing this, but wasn't quite sold on the color still, perhaps he should ask Lillith. When Sima was dressed with whatever clothing was present, he looked at his dirty clothes. He soaked them in the water to get the blood out, and then hung them on the end. He removed the water, and made sure that the bathroom was clean enough. After he felt like he was keeping the place tidy he entered outside. He noted that he was shirtless, which just really meant he felt a lot colder.
"Do you have a fireplace? Other then the oven." Sima asked curiously while heading back to the kitchen to review up on the meals he was cooking. Sima sniffed the air around the kitchen, but kept this always hidden among his usual breathing. The better it smelled, the more likely the better it would taster, after all taste was 90% smell right? Sima stirred the simple venison stew he had prepared, grabbing one of the chunks of venison and eating it happily. Venison in it self was delicious, but with the spices and vegetables it gave it a better bolder accent.
Sima then headed to find himself plates, after finding plates and utensils he set them up at the table. It was true his dish could be eaten as stew, but he cut the pieces thick enough to stand on it's own. So Sima drizzled on the mixture of vegetables and venison onto the plate. He forgot to wear gloves doing this, and burnt his hands upon touching the metal pot. Sima just set it out, and didn't draw attention to it. Sima then opened the oven and pulled out the pie. He wasn't quite sure how the crust would be, but after pulling it out, and once again burning himself in the process, he set it down to cool. Sima then doused the fire in the oven using some excess water and made sure everything was safe. After doing this he prepared glasses and poured some Sake into them, it had been a while since he had a drink. Sima then sat down and waved over to her.

Lilith had to try really hard not to laugh when he emerged from the bathroom. The pants barely fit him is seemed, and seeing such a guy in tight purple pants while shirtless was enough to make anyone laugh.
They look great Sima. She couldn't hide the shakiness of her voice, as it was filled with laughter.
Sadly, no I don't. She remained sitting on her bed as she watched him continue to prepare their food. Subconsciously she cocked her head to the side, noting little details in her mind. He looked good shirtless, despite the pants. Her eyes narrowed slightly when he pulled the pie out of the oven.
Hey Sima... She asked standing and moving the lean in the doorway. Didn't that hurt? She was curious now, watching him set the table, and pour the drinks.
You've guessed quite easily where all of my things are, haven't you? She laughed lightly, and sat down when she motioned for her too. The food smelled wonderful, and she was actually really excited to eat it. Carefully, due to it being hot, she took a bite, and felt like the melted.
Um... Sima? Why don't you have your restaurant already?? If you were able to make this from bits and pieces of the food I have, and a quick trip to the forest -I assume-, then I cannot fathom what you could do in a real kitchen! Eagerly she took another bite, and another, absolutely love it. After a moment, she stopped herself, not wanting to look crazy, and took a sip from her cup.
Ahem... thank you Sima. She spoke quietly now, embarrassed.

Sima began eating, showing really no table manners that most people thought were necessary. He did stop briefly in intervals, but it was only to look at Lillith and see if she enjoyed the food. Sima wasn't quite sure what to tell her when she asked if he was hurt. "Does what hurt?" He simply responded, and after eating for a while he answered her other question. "I told you, I am looking for the best spot remember?" Sima could taste how well the venison was tenderized, Sima must have done a good job with the slow cooking. Sima realized he had taken it out a tad too late, but it was nothing that someone would really notice without the scent as strong as Simas. He finished his first serving rather quickly and then made himself another. He noted her comments on what he was wearing, but it didn't mind him too much. Sima felt like his original clothes would be dry by the morning, meaning he could return to wearing them after their wash. Sima continued eating his second helping, and then stopped briefly to take a few drinks from his cup filled with the alcohol. Sima then continued to eat his food, he took note of Lillith's facial expressions and responses to his cooking.
"How is your work anyways? Do you enjoy it" Sima stopped to ask her a simple question, but continued to eat his food as if he wasn't paying attention. Sima was good at listening, but he was starving, so he wanted to continue to eat his food. This way too if Lillith did something she thought was embarrassing Sima could act like he didn't notice, although he probably would notice it.

Lilith shrugged off him taking the pie out, completely lost in the food. She loved it.
Well you better find that spot soon! Cause this is wonderful! Her voice was stubborn, hoping he would find a spot accessible to her. Now that she'd tasted his food, it was hard to imagine never having it again. Though she supposed if she really wanted to, and he did find a place to far, she could always ask him to return and cook for her... You're being stupid. She scolded herself, and continued to eat, and drink, not paying attention at all to how much she'd drank already. Lilith was light, small. It didn't take a lot for her to get stupid.
She saw Sima finish his first helping, and remembered that his initial dinner was stolen, and only had berries at that point. She too was hungry, but she doubted she'd have more, as she still had so much left to finish. Again, Lilith was small, petite really. She stopped eating for a moment, and took a drink to clear her throat.
My work? Oh I quite enjoy it. Books are a love of mine, so being around so many all the time... it may seem tedious, rearranging them daily, putting them away, but really, I don't mind it at all. Uneventful though, which is to be expected for a librarian. Though, lately, with all the Fated arriving around the city, there have been more people coming to investigate and learn about our world. She chuckled and shrugged, going back to her food. It was just so damn good.
So what about you? She spoke again, swallowing her bite. I've told you a ton about me today, its your turn. Whats some of your story? She didn't ask for the whole story, because she knew that would be to much to ask of him. She didn't know how, but she knew his past was a sad one.

Sima looked at her curiously. To be honest he wasn't quite sure what he should think about. He finished yet another helping of the food, and when she asked about his past he wasn't quite sure how to respond. He wasn't feeling as hidden as before, so he responded kindly. "Well when I was raised by a single man. Sima intentionally refused to refer to this man as father. "I was raised and taught to be a." Sima wasn't quite sure how common demon slayers were here, so he felt like something more simple fit the profile. "A swordmaster like the man that had raised me, when I turned 7-8ish I realized the man wasn't actually related to me. We got in a fight and the result meant I was kicked from my home." Sima just shrugged, that was enough wasn't it? "And that's my life story!" Sima raised his arms in a way as if he was showing of some sort of act, yet in a way it was true. Sima took a drink of his sake, but glanced around her house. The scents were much better and lively. It seemed that he had changed the smell of the room a lot already. Sima looked at her noticing the house wasn't very big. "Oh, if you have only one bed where is it that I am going to sleep?" Sima asked curiously, the alcohol not much affecting him at all. It took a decent amount of alcohol before Sima started getting any sort of feeling from it.
"I'm fine with sleeping on the floor, so you don't have to worry about much.." Sima chuckled, however changing his posture to try and keep mroe warmth in around his skin. Perhaps this was all about timing, perhaps Lillith would keep the bed warm and they would take shifts at night making sure someone was up for the watch, Why was Sima thinking that? He wasn't used to just being able to sleep all night, without worry, but perhaps it was much better. Sima felt like his arms were falling a sleep for a moment, but then he realized it was from the damage hee had done to it earlier from punching the tree. He was glad that it was doing better however, and no longer bleeding.

Lilith nodded along with his story, sympathizing with him. She had finished eating, and was now drinking the rest of her Sake. She rarely drank, and had only been drunk once, so she decided to put the cup down, leaving it unfinished. Tonight was simply not a night for that. She thought about what Sima had told her. So he was in a similar situation to her, wasn't he? She thought that maybe that could be why they became this close already, they understood one another without trying. She rose her eyebrow at him, as if the answer to his question was obvious.
Really? You think I'd make you sleep on the floor? You're crazy right, after all you've done for me today? No. She stood, taking her plate over to the sink and clearing it. She didn't want to assume if he was done, and therefore didn't take his with her.
You are taking the bed, so don't try to fight me. I will be sleeping out here. On the chair. She turned and gave him a bright smile, serious on giving him the bed. She didn't plan on taking no for an answer. She invited him to stay with her rather than the forest, and she fully intended to make sure he was comfortable.
I'm serious Sima, don't fight me on this, cause I know you want to. She gave a little laugh, still smiling, her purple eyes kind and soft, but there was a large sense of tiredness in them. She'd forgotten she had to work the next day.

Sima wasn't sure exactly sure how to respond to her. She certainly seemed hell bent on defending herself and making Sima take the bed. Sima hadn't slept in a bed since he came to this world, and well. Sima couldn't imagine sleeping in one without someone beside him now. The warmth, the breath, the scents. Sima was having a hard time keeping himself from becoming endeared to her. Sima was afraid sleeping in her bed would make him more endeared than he already is. Of course, it would, he could tell already. He enjoyed her scent, and her bed would be covered in it. "I'm not going to fight you, but perhaps a compromise can be?" Sima thought curiously how he could work this compromise in his favor. Sima wasn't sure if this would actually change anything, at least to make him sleep better. Sima knew it would make him feel better mentally however, and it would be rather tricky to ask. Sima wasn't afraid to be embarrassed so their wasn't much stopping him from asking this space invading question.
"We could just split the bed," Sima spoke rather nervously. "I can't ask you to sleep on a chair, it sounds rather uncomfortable. And if you refuse to let me sleep on the ground, then there's only room for compromise" Sima tried to explain himself. "I am mature enough to handle the situation, as I'm sure you are mature enough to as well, and if you feel uncomfortable about sharing the bed then you can bring your dagger." Sima knew humans were rather comfortable with their weapons, so whatever she was would probably be more comfortable with it as well. "We could also separate sheets so that we are divided if that would make you feel comfortable," Only Sima would feel comfortable enough asking someone so soon to jump into bed with him, of course this wasn't for any breeding purposes, or romantic reasons. Sima was simply trying to find a middle ground between the two opposing forces, Lillith not wanting Sima to sleep on the ground, and Sima not wanting Lillith to sleep on the chair. Sharing the bed seemed like a logical outcome. Sima did do this for personal gain however, he was just used to having an entity beside him, at least when he wasn't on the ground that is, which might be why he was so oddly accepted taking the floor in the first place.
"Does this make sense to you?" Sima scratched the back of his head nervously.

Lilith looked at him curiously, wondering what compromise could possibly be made here. She moved to sit back down and listen to him as he spoke. She was stunned. She hadn’t thought of that at all, and was at a loss for words. It certainly would be a logical choice, given the circumstance. She looked at Sima carefully, deciding if her intentions were true. She could find no reason why they wouldn’t be. She looked down, thinking about this carefully. For some reason she knew she could trust him, so what was the problem? She didn’t know.
It does… She spoke slowly, picking each word individually with care. Yes. Yes it does. But no, I won’t bring my dagger. She laughed inwardly, remembering that her dagger was long gone, buried inside of the wolf that had attacked her. She looked up at Sima one more time, and made her decision.
You are 100% right. This would make sense, so why not? She stood up, smiling and offered her hand to him. She knew she didn’t really have any spare sheets at the moment, she needed to buy some, but it didn’t really matter. She could sense he was slightly nervous asking this of her to begin with- nothing would happen.
Well, I’m very tired and have to work tomorrow, so, may we? Her hand was still outreaching to him, and she looked over at the bed, her eyes dropping slightly.

Sima laughed when she agreed. "Ok, sounds perfect!" Sima strolled into the bedroom and then picked a side. He went under the covers quickly like a child that was having a sleep over. He rolled over on one side, and took a deep breath. Sima could smell the scent of Lillith on the bed, it was all around him. It smelled oddly comfortable, and he rolled around in the scent almost like a happy dog. He stopped for a moment taking in a moments time for rest. He was just seeing how comfortable the bed actually felt, which it was rather comfortable, at least far exceeding the floor of the jungle, or the floor of the home. Sima realized he had forgotten to clean up, put perhaps he could push that off until the morning, after all what was he going to do tomorrow anyways? Sima knew what he was going to do while Lillith worked, prepare to tease Lillith, but other then that Sima thought that perhaps he should get ready for funding his restaurant. It was true that the time he had been travelling he amassed a decent amount of money, but wanting to create a non-profit business meant that he would not be able to get a loan. Sima only wanted enough funds to pay off his own living and that of the restaurant, he wanted people who couldn't afford much to still be able to attend the restaurant. His mind went through different ways of making such a feat possible, it was difficult, and more then likely only possible because of his own dedication.
Many top chefs from his world felt 'above' the average person, and Sima wanted to bring that top chef quality to people who couldn't pay the price for it, or really to bring that quality and good food, as well as the reactions that came with it, to everyone, not just royalty, kings, and other higher status people. "It's comfy.." Sima muttered under the pillow.

Lilith couldn't help but giggle as she watched Sima get comfortable. She walked over to the bed, and laid on the side that he hadn't. She too got comfortable, going underneath the blanket, and snuggling into her pillow. She was glad he'd chosen the side that he did, because there was an indent on the side that she slept on every night, and she doubted he'd find it comfortable. But she did. She was laying on her back, looking at the ceiling.
I agree. I forget how long I've had it, but it's never given me a reason to purchase a new one... She trailed off, yawning deeply, having to use her hand to cover her gaping mouth. She turned only her head to look for a moment at Sima.
Goodnight Sima. Thank you again, for everything. She smiled tiredly, her eyes, barely open now. She moved her body to face outwards, away from him, and was all but asleep already. Her eyes was closed, and her breathing slowed. Lilith wasn't known to snore, talk or walk in her sleep, but she did move a little.
I... understand. She was mumbling slightly, her words barely making their way out of her mouth. She felt sadness on Sima, almost no matter what, since she'd met him. It was like a blanket was always around his shoulders. She knew that she didn't know why, but she had this nagging feeling that she didn't have to, she just understood.
Both... alone. She stopped speaking, completely asleep now, her body rising and falling softly under the blanket. She wasn't aware that she'd spoken those words aloud, and she wouldn't remember doing so in the morning.
