Xander found himself not being able to refuse leaving now. He had hoped that he would not be dragged out this late, but she seemed maybe a little eager than himself to go out. Xander couldn't bring himself to force her to wait after all, she seemed she needed to enjoy herself. Xander only hoped he'd be able to hide his own fears during this little adventure.
"We can go now then Serenity, "
During the boat ride Xander found himself deciding to past the time by asking her some questions.
"So Serenity, what kind of family did you come from?"
If she decided to ask a similar questions Xander would reply to her that he could not remember his past, which was not entirely true.
When they made it back to her shop. Xander reminisced about the last time he was in here.
Xander felt a little excited to be heading out to dinner with her, and for some reason the air seemed really calm. He felt as though he was going to enjoy himself tonight, regardless of how things turned out it would be an experience.
He was surprised that she was able to think of a place so quickly.
When Serenity apologized and left to change clothes Xander looked at the door she ran into with a curious thought. He was vaguely thinking of surprising her, although that was too far cocky right now, even for him. He laughed lightly at the thought while waiting for her to emerge. When she did Xander eyed her intrigued. Personally he prefer'd red on her, but the green was more than gorgeous too.
"You look stunning," Xander told her with a shy smile.
"So where are we heading?" His eyes darted to her feet, curiously wondering if she had changed her shoes as well.

My family? Well, I never met my mother; she died giving birth to me. But I've heard she looked just like me. My father was changed from the grief, again so I've been told. The way he was after she died was the only way I'd known him. To make a long story short, he wasn't very fatherly. She shrugged, then asked about his, nodding when he claimed to remember very little.
When she emerged from her shop she smiled at his compliment. Thank you. We're actually going to this place Aria recommended to me. She says that the chef there makes the best deserts, but the food is great too! I think its something like Lua Azul? She cocked her head to the side, unsure she was saying the words quite right.
Off they walked, Serenity leading the way as arrived at their destination. A man with red curly hair escorted them to a table inside, were the room was brightly lit.

Lua Azul? Xander speculated on what a restaurant would look like. He followed Serenity to the restaurant. It seemed a bit smaller than what he was expected, however the renovator seemed to know what they were doing with the space that was made available. Xander was quite pleased with the decorations, and everything felt a bit more wholesome for some reason.
"It seems.. creative." Xander wasn't quite sure what to call this place yet, and found himself waiting to be seated. The man with red curly hair greeted the pair, and sat them. Xander looked up at him curiously, awaiting some sort introduction.
When wasn't spoke within his mental time frame Xander spoke up almost as if not realizing.
"A bottle of Chateau Lafite," Xander was unsure if they even stocked this wine. It was something he always wanted when eating out but never did he seem to get his hands on it. It was an extremely expensive bottle of wine, and Xander actually felt almost certain they would not have it on tap.
"If you don't have that in stock perhaps Dom Perignon Champagne Cuvee" Xander had read these wines from a fine wines and tastes book, which he liked the names of the wines almost more than the thought of drinking too much of one.
"Do you have an acquired taste?" Xander looked at Serenity. Of course Xander was splurging, it wasn't often he got whatever he wanted, and since he was able too right now he felt there was no reason to hold back.

Serenity chuckled at Xanders comment. It is a bit creative. If what Aria says is true, its owned by a demon who also works under the king, and I think it used to be co-owned by the kings future queen? I'm not certain though, that may just be a rumor. She shrugged, looking down at her menu while Xander ordered wine, a small smile on her face.
When he asked about her tastes, she looked up taking a breath before answering. I used to, in my own world, but the wines here are very different, so i've just adjusted to what i've tried thus far. She shrugged.

"Owned by a Queen and a demon? Sounds more like a fairy-tale of some sort." Xander couldn't possibly believe that a King of a nation would allow his queen to spend time with a demon, or even start a restaurant with one, it seemed preposterous.
"I don't think I ever want to meet this 'demon'" Xander added curiously looking around for this 'demon' chief.
"What does this demon look like? Is he hideous, or grotesque, but friendly?" Xander had only read about demons, never had he seen one.
Xander looked down at the menu curiously looking over the options. "What in particular do you like here?" Xander was more interested in getting something similar to hers. He was sometimes particulate about his food, and choosing what she had was just an easy way out of choosing from a vast array of options.
When Xander read the menu he could only think about the average sale price of each food item in bulk. Curiously calculating the average wage of workers in the food industry, Xander could accurately gauge the profits this establishment might get. "Not too bad..." Xander muttered, curiously wondering where the book keeping was held for this place. He assumed even a credible accountant would not be able to save as much as him, although that was him being a little cocky.
