While the trade deal was processed up in the castle, Aruk wished to go sightseeing out in the town. He had heard Nova was quite the beauty and he wished to see it for himself. Of course though, the major problem with this was that Aruk was blind. Just like every Yequl all he would ever see his entire life is darkness. But it did not mean he wouldn't enjoy Nova in other ways. Before Aruk could even step foot of the ship he was quickly stopped by an entourage of his own guards. Even though he wished to go by himself to enjoy the town, the warrior Yequl insisted that he at least take a few guards. After much debating Aruk finally gave in and brought two pairs of warriors as his personal guard for this trip. As they arrived at the second district town square Aruk took in all of the aromas and sounds of the square. He could smell all the food and fine clothing the people were wearing, the distinct scent of people around him, the sound of fresh water running down the fountain. But he could also hear whispers. Whispers that he could tell angered his guards. "What are those things" "Are they even allowed here, should I call someone?". Finally one of the guards spoke "Insolent defilers. First they overwhelm our senses with their metal and obvious disrespect to our king. And now they insult us, his children. Grand Seer how can you stand for this?!" Aruk sighed and answered calmly "I can stand this because it is not their fault Zox. They do not know of our culture. They have lived this was for years. Why would they change it just for us? The defile Eostu's grounds but it does not mean they are bad people. You must remember that our people do not show themselves very often other than the homelands. They make fun of us because they do not know us." The guard was about to respond but kept quiet. He wouldn't argue with a Seer's wisdom.
