Character Traits
Hair Color/Style: Medium length hair that seems to form natural spikes.
Eye color: Green
Skin Color: Lightly tanned
Body Type: Athletically lean.
Clothing - Detailed Appearance: Kyler typically dresses in a nice fitted suit, there is also always some sort of leather or chain link armor under the clothes that keeps him protected from harm. He learned to do this from his father who always told him that there were enemies everywhere. Other than the clothes always looking fine, if you ever see him with his shirt off you will see a lot of scars on his back, these are from his mother and sister's abuse.
Personality: Kyler has a few different sides to him. He is dignified and brave, often risking his life for even a stranger, but especially those he is close to. He cares about the citizens of the world a great deal and will do whatever it takes to protect them, even if it means sacrificing his own life. This shows his caring side as well as his extreme loyalty to the people. He is chivalrous, and while he holds a certain degree of respect to those higher in status than him, he also speaks out when he disagrees with something. However even with all of this when it comes to women he finds himself unable to function fully; this is simply because of the abuse he has faced from his sister and mother.
He has very strong morals and finds it difficult to sit by and let something happen that he does not support, encourage, or agree with. This makes him a man of action and conscience, wanting to do the right thing, even if it takes someone reminding him to take a stand against evil and tyranny. For these reasons, he is greatly loved and respected by his friends and peers. His values and beliefs are what makes others support him very much. He always puts others above himself and can be impulsive when in a dangerous situation. Sometimes his anger gets the best of him causing him to act irrationally. He is highly protective of others, those he loves and those he doesn't even know.
While he has survival skills, when traveling on perilous journeys, he is sometimes cocky and a bit of a bully. He is an extremely skilled swordsman and knows it so will often taunt others so that he can show off his skills. He disciplines himself and his men well, especially those training to be knights.

Extra/Drawbacks: None
Spell/Ability Two: Familiar Connection
Description: Kyler and his familiar are connected through this spell. Their bond first formed as Kyler tamed the Drake, but this spell finalizes them as a team. A perk to this connection is that Kyler can call out to his familiar from any distance and the Drake will then begin to track his way to his Master.

Biography
History: Kyler's family has always held a seat of immense power; hell it's almost as if the name Gorvaren is synonymous with the definition of Power. Ever since the founding of the Palico kingdom, his family has held this position; not only because they are related to the royalty, but also because of how they always kept their bodies above the water of the court. Each Gorvaren child was raised to know how to be a falconer, each one was trained how to protect themselves, each one was a master of the game of thrones. Each time there was a female child she was taught and raised to be the most beautiful woman of the land, and as for male; he was raised to be the King's eyes and ears, to protect him with whatever they had. This included developing new strategies.
It wasn't until two generations ago that the Gorvaren family had taken an even bigger step toward the royalty title. They now had the title of advisor to the king. Each generation that followed would soon take over the position of advisor as well; it had become a tradition. By the time Kyler had been born his father was already the king's advisor. It was during his adolescence that Kyler learned a very hard lesson, his mother, and twin sister were manipulative and dangerous. You see, Kyler grew up being mistreated and abused by his mother as well as sister. It was as if his father was never around; which he wasn't. The first major event that happened in his life was when he had told his mother he wouldn't go outside; in retaliation, his mother had kicked him against the wall and then had him turned around while she whipped his back with a cat of nine tails whip that had been barbed. Kyler was only nine years old when this happened to him.
For the next six years, these events repeated until finally, his father had taken him to the palace to learn how he did his job for the king. There were times during his first year at the palace that Kyler discovered his thirst for knowledge. As such, he began reading a LOT of books, in fact, it was odd to not see him reading a book about tactics or the history of each kingdom. By the time he was eighteen he had taken a huge step forward and had become a very well known strategist in the kingdom of Palico, that and of course he's a very viable bachelor seeing how his father had finally stepped down as archduke and was slowly passing away due to an illness.
