[Trinity Kane]

Trinity had been on this boat for months and she had about had it with the crusty old men staring at her ass. Not to mention, the poor excuse of a meal that she had been offered three times a day like clockwork. She stood on the front of the boat, grasping the railing, closing her eyes and letting the salty air flow through her wavy, red locks of hair. All of a sudden, the bell on the top of the ship started to ding. She opened her eyes and that's when she saw it, a dock only about a mile in front of them. A grin began to form on her face. "I hope that brother of mine didn't forget about me. I'll have to give him a nice kick in the ass if he is late."


As the boat drew closer, the surrounding area became more and more clear. The water was a putrid and murky brown color. The dock smelled of sweat and rotting fish, a mix that all but made Trin's nose bleed. She brought her cape up to her face to keep the smell from entering her nostrils. 


The boat docked and Trinity grabbed what little belongings she had and began her descent to the solid ground. Then it hit her. Her legs had adapted so well to the movements of the boat that her legs did nothing but wobble as she walked across the dock. She became sick to her stomach, but was able to keep down what little she ate from her last meal.  Trinity looked around searching for Cam. It had been several years since they had seen each other and she hoped that he would remember what she looked like.

Cam had gotten the letter months ago when the last ship came in that Emperor Sampson would be sending someone on the next ship. Normally Sareth would have come with him to greet whoever the king decided to send but he was currently trying to save Nova. Sighing Cam knew that even if he had tried to stop him it would not have worked and now he had to greet whoever the person was alone he just prayed it wasn’t any of Sareth’s siblings since he didn’t want to explain that their brother was off on a quest to defend another country.



Sitting on the bench he was currently shirtless and wearing his normal clothes, his eyes were scanning the sea for the Pherana’s sails. The moment he saw the ship he looked at the arrival docking area compared to the size of the ship to figure out where it would be docking. Seeing the only spot he quickly got up and heading towards the ship. He watched as some of the crewmen came off the ship keeping an eye out for the person that the Emperor had sent only for his eyes to widen upon seeing who it was.



“Why her…” Was all he said before he put a smile on his face and walked up to the red headed female known as Trinity other wise known as his eldest sister. “It is good to see you again Trinity. How was the trip?”

Trinity locked eyes with Cam as she saw him looking around for her. From the look on his face, he didn't know that she was the one that had been sent over. She walked over to him and smiled.

"Don't play stupid with me little brother, I could see the shock on your face from a mile away. You had no clue I was coming, did you?" She paused a moment, giving him time to gather himself. "The food was absolute shit and the trip was awful, but I am sure you knew that already."

Trinity then laughed, dropping the fake anger façade. She scooped Cam up into a hug and squeezed him tight. "I missed you brother. I am glad that you are here." She backed away from him and looked him up and down. "You look good Cam. So where are we going?"

Cam did his best not to cringle only if he could he would kill the old man for sending his sister of all people and of all his sisters it had to this one. “No I was just informed that someone would be coming no name was given. Well the food wasn’t that bad on my trip since Prince Sareth was on the ship as well.”



Returning the hug he smiled. “I missed you too. Well I am only here because of the letter and another reason but I’ll explain that once we get you settled in. So how is other and everyone else?” Standing a bit away from her, “To the castle, we are walking.” Before leaving Cam took out a letter from his bag and handed it to one of the crewmen that was heading back in a fortnight to give to the Emperor the report of what been happening in Nova since the last time he wrote. Though he did make sure he left out the fact that Sareth went off on a dangerous mission.



Once that was turn he turned back to his sister. “It will take a bit to get there. Just don’t leave my side please, cause we both know that if you end up missing and dead the Emperor wouldn’t even lift a finger.” Holding on to her arm he led them though the people heading towards the main streets of the city.

Trinity snorted. "Of course it wasn't. I'm sure you got to eat everything that the prince ate. Lucky bastard. I can't believe that they didn't tell you that I was coming. Although, if they did, you probably wouldn't of showed up to get me." Trinity laughed and playfully pushed at Cam's shoulder.

"Mother is pregnant. Nothing new. Although, this new man might stick around a little longer than the last." Trinity burst into laughter. "Yeah, probably not, though. I'm sure mother will get rid of this one soon after the baby is born." Trinity puts her hands on her hips and looks surprised. "The castle? Wow. I was expecting something a little more dreary. They are really treating us slaves right nowadays, huh?" Trinity watched closely as Cam interacted with the crewmen, seeing that he handed them a letter. "What's all that about?" She raised her eyebrows suspiciously.

"Oh brother, I wouldn't dream of leaving your side." She playfully teases him, an attempt to catch up on the many years that they had been apart. Trinity clinged onto Cam's arm as he lead her towards the city.

“You know you are just like mother minus the fact that you don’t want any children of your own.” Cam said teasing a bit. His sister was more like mother than any of their other siblings he still remembered how some of the males would follow her around or how they would give him headaches when he senses they desire. “We are staying in the servant quarters so don’t get your hopes up that it is something fancy.”



Smiling at Trin, “It was just my report to the Emperor each time the ship comes in I make sure send a report on what Sareth has been doing and how things are faring in Nova.” Turning to look at Trin, “What did you think it was about?”



Cam only rolled his eyes when she clinged to his arm. “So do you know why you were sent here sissy?” He wanted to get some information from her on why she was here, with Sareth away she had to take care of everything until he came back. Which meant that he would have to make the arrangement for his sister to have a room far away from him in the servant quarters. Though if he knew his luck she would be right next door or worst sharing the room with him.

Trinity arched her eyebrow at Cam. "What is that supposed to mean? I mean, not that I am complaining. Mother is gorgeous and has many men who are just as good looking that tend to fall into her arms very willingly." She began to think about how her life would be if she weren't a demon, if she weren't as beautiful as she was. Her thoughts were then interrupted as Cam gave her the oh so shocking news. "Oh, damn!" Her voice was sarcastic. "I was sort of hoping to be bunking with the prince!" Trinity looked for her brother's reaction, keeping as serious of a face as she could.

Trinity thought for a moment. Cam seemed a little off about the whole thing. "Well, if I were to answer that honestly, I'd say that report wasn't 100% accurate. You're hiding something baby brother. I can read you like the back of my hand. I mean, a stranger could read you. You don't hide your emotions very well."

Why was she here? To be the princes personal sex slave? Now that, she could handle. "I suppose I'm to bathe and dress the young prince, correct?" She really didn't know the full extent of her responsibilities. "So, maybe you can fill me in if I am wrong?"

“Don’t you ever dream of possibility settling down with a single mate?” Cam asked before sighing he already knew his sister answer before she would ever answer. “Mom isn’t always the best example you know.” Just rolling his eyes he was seriously considering just leaving her here and head back to the castle Sareth wasn’t there currently so he wouldn’t know that Trin came until a letter showed up later. Looking at her from the corner of his eye he really did want to just leave her but he knew that if he did she would get into trouble. “Sorry sis but unless the prince ask for you, I am not letting you anywhere near his bed.”



“That report was 100% accurate I have informed the emperor about the current events. How the prince has been doing. I also did ask for a book if you are so must know.”



Again he rolled his eyes seriously couldn’t his sister go just a few hours without thinking about getting into someone's pants. If he wasn’t for the fact that she acted and looked a bit like mother he would have swore that she wasn’t his sister. “Did you get a letter from the emperor to give to Prince Sareth upon your details on why you are here? Cause I don’t believe the prince would like you to dress and bathe him for reasons.”

"Do I ever want a man to cling on to me for the rest of my life? HA!" Trinity burst out into laughter, tears almost forming in her eyes. She wiped a mock tear from her eye and then lay a hand on Cam's shoulder. "Brother, you're hilarious. Don't tell me, next you'll ask if I want children!" Trinity wondered if Cam had settled down at all with a woman, or a man, not caring what his preference was. "What about you Cammy? Do you have a lady friend?" Trinity eyed him up and down, searching for any change in his face or body language. She then began to laugh again as Cam came off as protective towards the prince. "Oh, brother, believe me, when he sees me, he will be begging for all of this." She motioned to her entire body, wiggling her hips side to side playfully.

"Whatever you say little brother. Not like it matters to me anyways." She winked teasingly at Cam.

At the mention of the letter, Trinity plucked the folded up envelope from between her breasts, not taking her eyes off of Cam as she did so. "Here you go, I was keeping it warm for him." She smiled an evil grin and continued to walk towards town, her arm linked in her brother's.

“We both know that you don’t like children and from what I seen and remember the feel is mutual.” Sighing he pinched the bridge of his nose knowing that sooner or later one of them was going to snap and from history it would be him. Doing his best not to roll his eyes at her about the comment of the prince wanting all of that. “Dear sister mind I remind you that he had more than ten years to call you to his bed when we were still in Pharena and he never once did. What makes you think that a few months away from you is going to change that now.”



Cam keep his eyes ahead of him, he really didn’t understand his sister sometimes.Sure he had seen it many times in his other siblings but Trin was always the one that made his question if they shared the same half of the DNA. His eyes shifted towards her as he notice the movements of her hands it was then that he rolled his eyes seeing where she had decided to keep the letter. Taking it from her he flipped it over to see that the royal seal was on indicating that it was from the Emperor himself but it was also addressed to both him a Sareth. Even with his own name on it he wouldn’t open it until Sareth gets back since it would be only proper. “Now sis just because you are in a different country and kingdom doesn’t mean that you can do anything you want. You would have to earn it and right now you have not so here are some ground rules. First no leaving the castle grounds after dark if I catch you off the grounds after dark you would not like me anymore.” His voice was steady with an underline of threat to it, plus he also knew that if he didn’t set rules for his sister that she would do something that would embarrass the empire.

Trinity frowned at the obvious pain that she brought to her brother. "I am sorry, Cam. I didn't mean to upset you. I was only kidding." She truly did love her brother and didn't like to cause him grief. Of course she didn't mind joking around with him in a brother and sister manner, but she had a feeling that he had something on his mind that led her to believe that now wasn't the time.

Trinity stared at her brother in disbelief. Who was he to make the rules for her? "Brother, I understand where you are coming from, but I am going to have to ask that you reconsider that rule. I can understand not leaving while we are working, but I have needs." Trinity looked into Cam's eyes for any sign of him giving in, hoping that he would give her some sort of trust. "Cam, I promise to behave, but if I am going to live my life a slave, I need at least some sort of freedom. I prefer the dark when I go out."

Now it was Cam’s turn to look at his sister in disbelief, wondering if she honestly said that she has needs. Stopping in his tracks he started to seriously consider sending his sister back on the ship before he resumed walking. “You know Trinity it’s nice to know that ONLY you have needs. I have wondered how I survived all those months, all those new moons when I have needs as well.” Switching over to Phaeran since if their were going to have this conversation it might as well be in best that no one understood them.



Opening his senses to pick up some of the conversation around them along with the desires of the people they were passing. He hated doing this because of how overwhelming people’s desires were, plus he could feel the tingling of the resistors as he pushed himself since he had a point to prove. “Each person we passed I can feel that they want one or both of us. I can hear the conversation as they continue working once they think we are out of earshot of how they would love to have you under them screaming their name. How they would love to suckle at your breast, to see you covered in a layer of sweat and your hair all tangled from what they want to do to you.” Taking a deep breath as he felt the headache coming on from the senses overload. “But if you have not notice none of them are acting on they need by trying to approach us.”



“You know what I also take back what I said about you being like mother. Cause even with her having men fall for her, and a new man in her life ever few years. She at least has control and doesn’t find a new bed to warm for a night.” Taking a deep breath as he slide his arm out of her hold so that she wasn’t touching him. “At Least mother kept my father around so he can be apart of my life, couldn’t say the same for your.” He said softly but he knew that she heard him and he also knew that it was a low blow. “Unlike you mother isn’t sleeping around she is trying to find her mate.”



“You will abide by the rules I give you until Sareth say otherwise.” Leaving no room for agreement. “If you still have needs I am sure that one or many of the servants wouldn’t mind warming your bed at night.” Walking away from her trusting that she would follow not that he cared much at the moment if she did since either way he was done she could find her way to the castle it wasn’t that hard to miss.

Trinity said nothing. One thing was for sure, Cam was angry with her. She was hurt by his words but decided not to comment on it. Instead, she lowered her head and followed Cam silently.
