Faye laughed as Shy asked for her shirt back. She stood up and began to pose in it, showing off to make Shy laugh. "I don't think I want to give this up. I think it looks pretty good on me, don't you think?" Faye laughed, putting her hands on her hips. "Though, I will take you up on dinner!" Faye then shrugged out of Shy's shirt, exposing her naked body once more to Shy. She then began to walk over to her own clothes, swaying her hips seductively side to side. She then bent over, her bottom playfully shaking at Shy. "You know, I am pretty hungry. We should probably get going." Faye pulled her dress up her body and slipped into her shoes. Faye let Shy lead the way to the Merchant District. As they walked, Faye slipped her hand into Shy's, lacing their fingers together. "It's a beautiful night, the stars are really bright. It's almost as beautiful as you." Faye playfully tickled Shy's chin. "So what's good to eat around here?" Faye arched an eyebrow at Shy. Séanait Nic Ádhamhnán

Faye really did look good in her shirt, which almost lost like a very short dress on her. Shy smiled appreciatively as Faye stripped out of it and began to saunter her way over to her clothes. Shy stayed where she was, watching her appreciatively, especially when Faye bent over and shook her arse playfully at her. If Shy hadn't been so hungry, cautious about Faye now that she knew her heritage and still a little sobered by their talk, Faye might not have gotten into her dress.
Shy returned the favour sitting on a rock to put on her trousers, stretching out one leg languidly at a time and then bending over with her backside to Faye and pulling them up slowly. When she put on her shirt, she pushed her chest forward and really stretched her arms out before finally donning the shirt and picking up her jacket, which she offered to Faye in case she was cold.
Dressed as she was, Shy now looked so much like a man that few would realise her true sex. Which, of course, meant that no one would raise any eyebrows when Faye slipped her hand into Shy's and told her that the night was almost as beautiful as she was. Shy squeezed her hand fondly, feeling odd at this fake piece of normality and affection.
"Almost as beautiful as me? You must be practicing with your silver tongue if you're saying that."
She smiled and then laughed as Faye tickled her under the chin. When Faye asked what was good to eat around here and raised an eyebrow, Shy smirked and returned the gesture.
"I think I know where there's some sweet, sweet honey to be found, but maybe we should save that for desserts."
Shy looked around and found an inn that she thought she remembered making quite good pies with very little mystery meat in them.
"Have you ever had a minced fruit and beef pie? They do quite good ones at that in over there."

Faye watched in agony as Shy slowly got dressed. She brought her finger to her lips and bit it as Shy pulled her pant legs up slowly and then bent over to finish the job. Faye noticed that Shy took her time putting her shirt on, practically pushing her chest in Faye's face. When she finally finished dressing, she handed Faye her jacket, which Faye graciously excepted. Faye shrugged into the jacket, hugging her arms around her body, loving the scent that it projected.
"Hey now, don't sell yourself short. Besides, I wouldn't lie. I told you that already. And I don't like to be doubted." Faye playfully shoved Shy.
Faye arched an eyebrow. "Honey, eh? You're not talking about me, are you?" Faye began to giggle. "But I do agree that we should definitely save that for dessert."
Faye had never heard of that type of pie and wondered if it was something that they didn't serve in Kanto. "I have never had anything like that, but I'd be willing to give anything a try." Faye smiled sweetly and brought Shy's hand up to her lips and kissed it. "Let's go in!"
Faye pulled on Shy's hand and lead her eagerly into the inn. She found a quiet table and sat down across from Shy. "So, come here often?" Faye laughed, bringing up the age old joke.

Shy tilted to one side when Faye shoved her, natural instincts and balances kicking in, and bowed as she came back upright. "As my lady commands."
Then, laughing, Shy put her arm around Faye's shoulder and gave it a little squeeze. She had to admit, she liked how Faye looked in her jacket, with how losely it hung on her. It also felt good to have her arm around Faye's shoulder and to be hugging her tight. In some ways, Faye almost seemed fragile compared to the women Shy usually slept with, but Shy was learning that that was only skin deep. Faye might just be tougher and more resilient than most she knew.
"What, do you think I would make such a crass innuendo?" Shy looked at Faye with feigned shock. "I'll have to punish you a little when we're alone."
Shy smiled wolfishly at Faye's reply that she would try anything and replied to the kissing of her hand by playfully pushing on Faye's nose with a fingertip. "Anything? Well, I'll have to find some other new things for you to try."
She allowed herself to be pulled after Faye, laughing at her lover's enthusiasm to go and eat. The walk here with Faye had done wonders for her mood and she was much happier and relaxed now than she had been after finding out Faye's true identity. Just for tonight, she told herself, she would forget all of that and finish the day in peace.
Faye chose out a table in an out of the way place, and Shy sat down with her back to the wall and where she could watch as much of the room as possible. Old habits died hard, and this sort of thinking wasn't even deliberate now, just pure instinct. She chuckled and shook her head that Faye's joke.
"Not in over a year. I've been gone from Nova a while."

It was late. It had been a couple of days since Faye arrived at the Arch of Ages. He had been busy with his many duties and tasks in the flurry of activity, not the least of which was sending letters to both Noku and Galahad regarding the situation for accountability's sake.
It wasn't until late the second night after he had went to see if Faye had been settling in that he came to find out she was missing. Incensed, he got Iris with him to help him track her down and he was made aware she had a bit of wanderlust still. Faye had gone out on the first day after arriving after he had sent letters to both Noku and Galahad. Now a day later, she still hasn't returned! Does that girl not understand the position she is in and the consequences of her actions. He was taking a personal risk in trying to further Faye's education and on the first day, she disappears! He was reasonable was he not? He asked her to stay at the Arch, pending King Galahad's response where she could roam the campus and further her education. Trust was put in Faye and it was misplaced.
After a certain point. No more.
Adrain began to use his powers in privacy of his quarters to seek out Faye. She had a unique magic to her, and he had recently enough sensed her mana and energy that it wasn't so horrible to track her. The trail led through several places, well away from the Arch, until his visions culminate in the merchant district. She was with a woman, vaguely familiar but...not entirely certain. He didn't know this one, but regardless Faye's custody was his concern and his duty.
His enraged purple eyes fade, as he then begins to draw on his power to step through the ether and mana into the Merchant district. To minimize the scene and commotion, as he wasn't aware one way or another of her companion he would approach a pair of alert guards and present his crest of nobility, requesting their aid in wrangling in a very important guest of his in questionable company.
Once that was sorted out, he would swiftly make his way to where Faye was, into an Inn with the stranger. The guards presumably in tow, he looks at Faye with a certain intensity in his yes.
"Faye, I had asked you to remain at the Arch pending certain...responses I am waiting for and I find you all the way in Nova not even a full day later. It is time to return to the Arch." he says firmly to the young woman, hoping that this would be the end of it without a greater scene.

Iris had met Faye one time. And during that one time she had certainly enjoyed herself. It would only pain her a little to see what was about to come next. She followed Adrain's orders, close behind him when he entered the building where he had located the Princess to be.
Adrain wasted no time, marching directly up to the Princess and her friend, whom Iris arched an eyebrow at. She'd never met the person before, though Faye's choice in guest wasn't at all surprising as Iris recalled her first meeting with the woman. Hearing Adrain state his business, Iris stepped out beside him. Shall we walk, or will I be carrying you over my shoulder, typical princess fairy tale style? Iris asked in her best polite tone, a pleasant smile on her face.

Faye arched her eyebrows and stared at Shy in fake shock. "Punish me? And how might you go about that?" She then gave Shy her best smile before continuing on.
Faye scrunched her nose under Shy's finger and giggled. "Oh is that so? What did you have in mind?" Faye smirked at Shy.
Faye tilted her head when Shy mentioned being out of Nova for a year. "Where did you go?" She wondered if Shy had ever been to Kanto. Maybe they's crossed paths at some point in their lives.
Faye's thoughts were suddenly interrupted when her stomach began to growl. "I am starving. You can order for me, I trust your tastes." Faye smiled sweetly across the table. "After all, they must be good for you to get involved with me." She stretched her leg underneath the table to rub Shy's leg with her own. When Shy would notice, Faye would pretend not to know what she is referring to if she were to bring it up.
All of a sudden, a familiar voice began to speak to Faye from over her shoulder. Startled, she jumps up from the table and spins around, only to come face to face with Adrain, the Headmaster of the Arch. Faye's good mood rapidly faded to embarassment. "Headmaster! What are you doing here and how did you find me?" Faye ignored the fact that he told her that it was time to return to the Arch. "I am kind of busy. Can I at least finish my meal?"
Faye's eyes drifted and caught sight of Iris, the woman she had met in the stairwell and invited to go to her dorm room. She quickly evaded eye contact, her cheeks turning red. "I prefer to walk, thank you. It's nice to see you again, Iris." Faye hoped that it threw Adrain off, her already knowing Iris. "I guess you can walk me back to my dorm room since you already know where it is."

"I think I'll be...creative." Shy grinned wickedly at Faye and gave her a gentle swat on the backside for good measure. She had a feeling that Faye wouldn't mind the "punishments" she had in mind. "How many punishments depends on how much of a good girl you are tonight."
Faye giggle prettily when Shy touched her nose, and Shy grinned at her. Oh, she could think a few few things. It was too bad there wasn't likely any of the really good cobblers open this time of night. Shy would have to track one down in the near future.
"Best to wait until after we've eaten," She whispered, "I wouldn't want to send you to bed without any supper."
Shy was silent for a few moments as Faye asked where she had been, a brief melancholy sweeping over her as she remembered why she had left and why she had returned. When she finally pushed the thoughts away, Shy gave Faye a reassuring smile in case she'd begun to worry.
"I went far beyond Palico and into what they call the Unknown Lands around here. Really, they're just like everywhere else, different only in little ways."
They sat and Shy was just looking to see if she could catch a barmaid's eye and order, when two things happened at once. Faye stretched a leg and began to her Shy's own with it, and Adrian Kaiaru, Archmage, Headmaster of the Arch of Ages and Duke of the Royal Court stormed in, followed by a tall Satyress and a couple of city guards. Shy shot Faye a warning look and she stopped playing footsies, looking innocent but not apparently realising what was happening.
Shy knew of Adrian, and although she had never met him, she had heard him described before. He looked very much like his description, and was a good deal less visibly angry than he might have been. Shy relaxed a little, having tensed up when she first saw him. She relaxed not because she thought herself safe, but because she wanted her body loose enough to get away from the table as quickly as possible. She doubted she had much of a chance, not trapped against the wall and facing multiple opponents, but if the Duke decided to have her killed here instead of just imprisoned or taken elsewhere for execution, she wanted to be ready.
Faye asked if she could at least finish her meal, but Shy didn't think that was likely to happen. She sighed and shook her head at Faye slightly. Faye might be nonchalant about interacting with Adrian, but Shy couldn't afford a confrontation right now.
"You should probably go with him now." Shy patted Faye's hands in a familiar, though not intimate, manner and smiled reassuringly.
Watching the interaction between Faye and the Satyress, Shy had a sudden thunderbolt of realisation and grinned at Faye. She didn't say anything, just looked between them, winked at Faye and then laughed quietly to herself. So her Honey had a crush on the Satyress? Shy could understand and found herself nodding at Faye in approval. Faye did have good taste.
Smiling now at the Satyress, in what she hoped was a joking manner rather than a leering one, though Shy wasn't sure she managed it, she said lightly, "Well, if you're still looking for someone to carry over your shoulder afterwards, come and find me. I'd be willing."

Watching the Duke suddenly appear out of nowhere was quite the shock for the Guards that were on their rounds in the merchant district. It was such a shock that the two guards first doubted the identity of the man until he pulled out his crest of nobility and apologized for not recognizing him sooner. The two burly armored guards followed behind Adrain until they reached their location
As they followed Duke Adrain into the Inn in which the guest in question was located they stayed quiet for most of the conversation. The guards would await Adrain's command on how to handle the situation should they be needed

Adrain's brows furrow as Faye asked to stay. "I'm afraid not. Iris can get your food for you to bring back, but at this time I need to ask that you come if you wish to still be under consideration for your requests and not delivered back to home to avoid further grief. You should well enough understand the situation, especially with my concern after several days." he says firmly to Faye. The woman...man...person she was with seemed to understand the gravity, though he couldn't quite place where he may have recognized him or her from.
The fact the individual looked at Iris as if she were a piece of meat made him wonder. Did Faye see this individual as a partner, or was this individual using her for sex or otherwise. He worried that Faye were pregnant which could cause a catastrophic international relations incident.

Iris shruged at Faye's reply. The pleasure is all mine.[/colour] Iris winked, hoping to make her nervous, while sparing a glance over at her friend who happened to be looking at Iris as well. Iris arched a brow, Oh yeah? What's your name, so I know who to ask for when I start looking? She grinned. Adrain would probably scold her for flirting, but there was a hidden method to her maddness, as she would assure him later.
Hearing Adrian say she would stick around to grab Faye's food for her, Iris turned her arched brow on him. I'm a delivery service now? Greeeat. She was joking, for the most part.

Faye nodded her head to Adrain. "I understand. I apologize for any trouble I caused." Faye gave Shy an apologetic smile. "I will meet with you again as soon as my house arrest is lifted. For now, I am going to try to stay out of trouble." Faye got up from her seat and adjusted her dress.
She walked towards Iris, trying to keep her disappointment under raps. Iris winked at her. Faye knew that Iris worked for Adrain, but she didn't think that she went everywhere with him. The thought made her somewhat nervous. Did Adrain know about their brief encounter in her room? She tried not to think about it. Faye turned to Shy once more and waved goodbye to her. "Until we meet again, beautiful." She then turned to Iris, "We don't need to wait on my food, I can just get something at the Arch." Faye then walked off with Adrain and Iris, completely ignoring the fact that Shy had flirted with Iris. It hurt her somewhat and she wasn't sure why. She really liked Shy, but she knew that they were only lovers.

Faye's hurt look would have bothered Shy more if Iris hadn't winked at her and Faye hadn't been looking at Iris the way she had. Shy was sure now that Faye had been with Iris before, and it rankled a little that Faye had lied, if Shy's conclusions were correct. Shy wasn't sure if it was injured pride, annoyance at herself for falling for the lie or just jealousy. She didn't know why she was even considering the last one. She'd made it clear that she wasn't interested in anything long term for Faye, hadn't she?
When Iris asked Shy for her name in a flirtatious manner, Shy smiled back winningly and laughed in order to give herself a moment to think. Iris seemed like some kind of bodyguard, which meant that this was probably a fishing expedition. Part of Shy wanted to lie in order to protect herself, but the rest of her knew that Faye already knew her name, which would make any lie she told now seem sinister or, at best, suspicious.
"I'm Séanait, but you can call me Shy, beautiful."
Shy waved to Faye and smiled a little sadly at her, knowing that they probably wouldn't meet again. She'd certainly enjoyed their time together, and wouldn't have minded some more of it, but she highly doubted she would be allowed to see her again.
"Stay safe, Faye."

Since Faye seemed willing to comply without further incident, he would wait for her to come, and once she did he would make a portal to exit, waiting for Faye and Iris to go through before exiting himself. The banter with the other girl was noted, and he took a memory of her features for any future purposes. Barring any further incident, he would exit and the portal close behind.

Iris arched a brow. She honestly hadn't expected Faye to agree so easily. Based on how she'd met the woman, she had assumed there would be more of a fight. Interesting. After winking at Faye, she felt the other persons gaze on her, and glanced up, catching the slight change in expression at the situation. She'd been trying to tease Faye, but she wondered if she'd successfully made Fayes companion jealous? Even more interesting.
Getting an answer from the woman- the name gave it away to Iris - she nodded. Suits you. was all she said, smiling as she turned to Faye, now needing to keep her attention on the Princess, as ordered.
Adrain made the portal, and she followed Faye through immediately, getting the hint that her boss wanted to go.
