Concordia was a growing and prospering town near the Arch of Ages. While access to the Arch campus was heavily restricted due to the fact the location was more accessible than it may have been once upon a time, the town was a generally open sort. People from numerous areas, though primarily from Nova and increasingly fated, have made their way to make a trade and living here when they prefer to be closer to nature and magic than the cities might afford. Of course, it was a town loyal to Noku Noru, a fact that isn't forgotten by the presence of his guards from time to time.
Due to the distance from the capital, the patrols of Concordia are mainly held by a force that Duke Kaiaru had been training and developing from volunteer mages who wanted a steady living. The Arch Guard, cleverly named, were individuals trained in both magic and martial technique to maintain the peace. A typical patrol consisted of a large iron golem, a trademark of the Arch Guard as Duke Kaiaru had been developing new golems steadily for deployment, and two peacekeepers armed with glaive like weapons enchanted with electrical and ice gems. The force was largely meant for deterrence: The Duke's benevolent nature was known and it was generally accepted not to cause extra trouble here to keep it that way.
Of course, not everyone played nicely.
A pair of thieves were working to break into a merchant's hut: a standard store of sundries, imported foods, and knick knacks bought from students. One was working a pair of lockpicks, complete with a spell crystal to decipher the magical element of the lock, while the other stood a lookout from a corner nearby. Both were typical burglar attire: leather armor dyed black with masks over their faces and daggers at the side with unknown potions below. The occasional grunt of frustration from the lockpicker could be heard from time to time.

Cynthia decided to visit the recently constructed village around a famous school on this continent, Concordia. The Phantom Thief decided to stroll around the streets, wearing her robe to not draw too much attention to herself, like always she carried her mask, two daggers and a pouch that held her feathers in it should a situation require her to act. She walked around trying to enjoy the sites but was still rather upset about the whole situation with Gyres in the third district. She needed a way to more properly deal with magic, it seemed her old tricks in pherana were not going to work now in Nova.
When she was about to turn a corner however she heard a small grunt that broke her out of her thoughts. She decided play it safe and use her feather to pull herself onto the roof of the building the Thieves were currently trying to break into. She located down from above and watched them for a few moments. It became clear to Cynthia that these were not the owners of the building and she had to take some action or else, the black daggers part two might soon happen.
She placed her mask on her face and Cynthia's transformation occurred. Her robe seemed to burn up in flames and her phantom thief attire appeared on her body, The red tight skinned suit showed off her curves as the two black feather tails attached to the suit gracefully flowed down from a nearby draft that had lifted them up. She flipped her hair to to the side and she threw down 3 feathers, One aimed at the man who was currently trying to break the lock, she aimed for both of his hands in an attempt to distract him for a few moments.
She then jumped off the roof and tried to roundhouse kick the man who didn't seem to check the roofs for other thieves. "Oh hi there." she said in a snarky manner before doing a roundhouse kick aimed at the lookout's head.

The lockpicker found himself struck by several...feathers? They made him drop his tools in startle and mild pain as he wince and made pained grunts. The lookout turned to see what happened but found a roundhouse kick delivered to the head that sent him spinning and dazed, groaning but not completely out.
"Hoo da feck are you..." the lockpicker says, brandishing his knives and running at Cynthia intent on striking her back while she was distracted with the first attack.

The oracle was rather happy with how the fight started, she focused her attention on the look out still to make sure he wouldn't get back up she delivered another kick to him to try and make he stayed down. However as she was focused on the failed look out and the lock pick asked who she was she began to speak with her back turned to him. "I am.." she said before pausing and realizing he was coming at her.
With one smooth motion she dodge the knife by turning sideways, grappled his arm and used his motion against him. she threw him over her shoulder and into the ground. "The phantom Thief of Pherana, the Oracle." she said with a sly grin on her face she threw a feather at his wrist to make him drop the knife, 4 other feathers pinned his clothes to the dirt and red strings of manna circle around the man and tied him up, leaving him on the floor.
She then took out the knifes on her side and waited to see if the look out would get up again. "Do i have to teach you another lesson now boys? It isn't nice to steal from those who make an honest living. Do you even know who runs this store?" she asked wondering if they even knew who their target was. For all they knew it could be a man who barely gets by with this shop he or she works hard for and that was something Cynthia could not stand for.

The lookout burglar was downed with a swift kick to his nuts. The second burglar was stunned and incapacitated as Oracle's swift attack. The groans of the two indicated they weren't prepared for an opponent that could fight back or otherwise take them out. The commotion caused an Arch Guard Patrol to approach as the heavy sounds of a metal golem and the two glaives lit with mana rapidly approach.
"Halt! What goes here?" one says as both Arch Guards had blue glows to their glaives. The lockpicker scrambles up and tries to run toward the guards. "We're under attack by this crazy oracle girl!! We were just minding our business and she comes out of nowhere attacking us!" ]

Cynthia sighed loudly, this was typical of people who realized that she could handle herself in a quick fight. "These two were trying to break into this store over here." She said pointing to the lock that most likely had some evidence of being tampered with. "I was merely teaching them a lesson. Since apparently you guys weren't doing your job properly." She said before recalling her feathers to her person and using them to hoist her back up onto the roof. "Now, keep your mouth shut or else you're boss my reprimand you for not doing your job properly without having this little lady help you." She winked to the thiefs and patrol, between her fingers she threw a card onto the floor that read "Your welcome, with love -The oracle." before laughing and running away from the situation jumping from roof top to roof top until she vanished from sight.
