Hot Days and Dark Skies ( Open )

Vennessa had gotten up extra early that morning and dressed herself for a days outing. A light yellow and gold corset sun dress and leggings with riding boots she had shipped with her from Kanto. The countess smiled with glee at her attire, happily setting out to the foreign embassy of Kanto's stables.  She requested a horse from one of the stable hands and had it saddled and prepared for her.  It was mid afternoon by the time she set out; The sun high over the kingdom when she left the outer-walls and traveled along the Goussael River. It had been unbearably hot that day, but the humidity was the torturer that made it truly horrible.

By the time she road 1 hour away from the city, Vennessa stopped at a wide bend at the river. The water looked deep in some parts, but for the most part it looked shallow. Awkwardly sliding off her horse, Vennessa tied the creature to a near by tree and turned to stare at the slow moving water. She enjoyed watching the color of the sun bouncing off the ripples. A large smile stayed on her round features the entire time; even when she was beginning to undress by the water's edge the smile remained. Each piece of clothing fabric was removed but the white cloth that she was for her undergarments. Which were barely undergarments from the lack of fabric covering her cream color flesh.

Vennessa, cautiously stepped into the water to escape the heat of the sun, careful not to fall on the slippery rocks. The river cool and refreshing to the touch, which felt great as she waded further out to where the water met her hips.

Kail was on his way to Nova but had decided to take a small detor from the main road and down the river. He was mostly walking from where he needed to go. Since in Gallows Bane it would be hard for a horse or other transports to get there. Or out of Bane, so he would need to think of something else. But as he walked down the bank though the heat was a bit too much. So as he continued down, the blond spotted someone's horse and in the distance someone was in the water. He went a bit farther down and changed into some swim trunks that he owned. Kail took his glasses off and cursed his nearsightedness since a lot of things far away were blurry but right now things were peaceful so he was not worried about combat or anything. So the blond took his time to the water letting his feet try and remember the ground beneith him. He could see a blurry blond haired woman in the water "Hello there, mind if I join you? Seems like a nice day for this thing" he said before wading into the water as not to spook this person.

Vennessa splashed in the water, enjoying the cool liquid that clung to her body for a brief moment before the heat of the sun would evaporate it away. She enjoyed the river. More so than usual with it being so hot. Unaware of her unexpected company, Vennessa continue to splash in the water. Giggling a bit to her self content. It was when a male's voice broke her own 'playtime'; Did she jump a bit and spin around. Only to greet a familiar face she hadn't seen since arriving into Nova the first time. Her baby blue eyes going wide as she stared at the blond male and smile began to broaden on her features.

" Oh its you!! The boy from back then! " Vennessa pointed very animatedly, a giggle of delight escaping while she stood there staring at the young lad. Her eyes taking note of the difference in his face without the strange things he had on his face the last time they met. " Of course you may join! The water isn't too cold! " Vennessa acknowledged, dipping down to scoop up some water into her hands and splashed it towards him with a bring smile. It had been a long time since she last saw this young man. The last time she was wrapped up in his arms, that were so warm that night. Their parting short and brief as they had made their separate ways the following day. Where she became a noblewoman and he...Well she hadn't a clue until now. Though seeing him brought some pep into her spirit, finding comfort in seeing a familiar face within this land.

Once Kail heard that voice, his mind tried to recollect where he had heard it before. He wanted to curse his eyesight since he could not see who this woman was. She knew him though and he tried to remember who this person was. Then realization hit him as Kail knew who it was now. As aside from Yuki who was slightly thinner and Iris who was sayter. The only other blond female he knew was Vennessa and his eyes widened in surprise "Vennessa......holy shit I thought you got abducted or worse when I woke up that day. I'm sorry I did not recongise you, without my glasses I can not see far away. Maybe I should find a sight enhancement spell or some......thing" as he tried to finish what he was saying. Vennessa splashed him with some of the water. He spat a bit of water and then had a laugh "I guess someone like yourself would still consider me a boy. But thats not a bad thing now is it" he said and then kneeled slightly cocked his arm back. Then swung it forward scooping some water up to splash Vennessa.

Kail had so many questions for her, as it had almost been a year since they last met. And a lot of things happened to the both of them. Even then he was curious of Vennessa as she looked in really good health and from what he could try and make out. Since he could see her correctly.

Vennessa blinked at the young male and laughed at the surprised look on his face the moment he realized whom he was speaking to. A large smile grew on her soft pink lips; while giving Kail a chuckle out of amusement. " Holy shit? What is this phrase that you speak? I'm not familiar of what that means." Vennessa continued to chuckle. " But no my dear friend. I had simply had to continue my journey before sun rise. I'm sorry I did not wake you." She smiled, reassuring that she had not been abducted that following morning when they had met in the woods. She had to admit, his company did ease the nightmarish hell of the forever forest that night. So listening to the young man she bowed her head and gave him a curtsy. Probably in vain, now remembering that he had just mentioned he had trouble seeing without his 'glasses', whatever that may be.

" You certainly don't kiss like a boy." Vennessa giggled before continuing. " I do have to thank you though; You did rescue me that night in the woods. I would of probably been more lost and would of never survived the night if it wasn't for you telling me the way. I owe you my gratitude." She smiled, taking note of his strange posture before realizing he was about to splash her. With a big smile, Vennessa raised her arms up to shield her face from the splash of water. Now this was exciting! Vennessa laughed, taking in a handful of water and splashing back at Killian.

Kail had a chuckle "Don't worry about that, just don't utter that too much ok" he waved his hand in a motion as to say don't worry about it. He was glad that this blond bombshell had survived before the siege happened. He did nod his head and blushed slightly about the kissing. Well at least someone had saw him a bit more of a adult even though it was an embarissing evening. "I'm not fully blind its that somethings far away are a bit blurry. I honestly would have taken you directly to Nova. But thats then and here is the now" he was going to continue speaking until he was splashed in the face with water. Some of it got into his mouth and had to spit it out into the water like a fountain. It seemed that Vennessa was even in greater spirits then before. "So what happened after you left that morning? A lot has happened since then. As a lot has happened to me since that day and what a tale I can tell you" he said and then continued with more splashing at Vennessa as he moved in closer to her. As her face was getting a bit clearer for him to see her. Perhaps he could get into a bit more fun with the woman, at least he knew her as such.
