It had been a long week since Kyler had time to himself. Even so, his anger levels and inner...self were far far offset by the females of Noku's court and the...person in second command, Breton. For some reason or another that man had made Kyler irritated, more than he had ever been in his whole life.
So here he was in the forest, having excused himself from his duties and from the palace on the excuse that he would be out hunting alone. Kyler had taken several quivers of arrows, a long bow, and even a few rations. He had told his guard that he would be gone for a week and would be back in time for the journey back home. If they were told to come home. Quietly he had been tracking a deer down when it had been spooked.
The thing that had spooked his target was a loud almost blood curdling scream. It sounded like a female scream and had even caused his insides to almost growl and roar out. What was this? What was this feeling that Kyler was just now feeling.as he listened to the scream his mind had gone blank and then some odd vision had began to shape in his mind. It was the vision of a group of men all preparing for some type of war, each one had an odd thing about them. A few had claws and others had scales. But when he had turned around in his own memory, he was able to see solid white eyes.
This was the oddest part. Around his eyes were black scales and beside him was a large make krey whom looked absolutely dangerous and yet the larger male was laughing and clapping Kyler on the back. Then the odd vision stopped. What was this? Taking a deep breath Kyler began to make his way toward the scream. In fact his drake was even in alert and was acting as if something or someone familiar was nearby.
