Sima looked at Lilith as she shown her creation. "It looks good!" Sima smiled brightly at her, taking a big chomp of his dessert. He mowed it down in a matter of second, nothing left but that tiny stick that was mostly there to keep your hands from touching the sticky candy. So,a looked around at the others booths. They ahd spent mroe time than he anticipated, the lines must have been rather large. he shrugged, perhaps they should go back to the bigger ones. Sima grabbed Lilith's hands and began moving through the crowd rather assertively. Sima made sure to not actually bump into people, but just move through rather effectively. Sima pulled them up to the largest line, he wanted to know what was behind it. If everyone else wanted to go through it, perhaps it would be something they would want to as well. "You wanna try this one?" Sima asked her curiously. "I don't know what it is, but everyone wants to try it." Sima looked around the crowd, noticing all the people walking around.

Lilith laughed as she was being pulled through the crowd, and made sure to stay close behind him so as not to get lost. She wasn't sure where they were going, but she didn't mind, as Sima seemed to now be having a wonderful time. Once they stopped, it was sudden and Lilith hadn't expected it, so she bumped into him, hitting her head on his shoulder. She rubbed it softly and murmured an "ow". She looked up at the long line Sima had drawn them too curiously. It certainly looked important, and everyone seemed to be flocking towards it now, so why not give it a try?
Sure! Taking a chance seems to be the point of this festival. She smiled fondly at him, noticing a slight double meaning in her words, but not minding it at all. She leaned into him while they waiting, taking this chance to relax for a moment, as they had been moving all day.

Sima looked at Lilith curiously, he didn't understand what she meant. That the meaning of this festival was to take a chance? "I'm not sure what you mean," Sima said, leaning in such a way to provide Lilith with support. Sima enjoyed it when she held onto him like this, it was soothing, to know that he did have someone there with him, in this new world. It took quite a bit of time for them to get to the front of the line, and it was getting rather dark in their waiting. "I know we haven't spent much time here, but it's already getting dark, I bet they have fireworks." Sima spoke to Lilith quietly while waiting for the people in front of them to get their turn. When the two in front of them finally moved, Sima was stunned to see what was in front of them.
"Tunnel Of Love" The sign read, with tracks leading off down into a hill not too far. "How did they make something like this so fast?" In our times this was a simple thing, but in Teair there was much more to this, and simple festivals did not just have such rides. Sima looked at the tracks more in depth and realized that it was for mine carts, this made much more sense now. Sima deducted that they obviously used a small section of some sort of mining operation that was here, Sima was rather excited to see how they decorated the inside, and how they moved the carts along. Sima took a deep breath, there had to be some sort of source burning that powered the carts moving. Sima could smell a lot of people sweating, and working a lot. He assumed it was either a system of pulleys, spinning things that pushed the carts, or some sort of coal burning mechanism, either way it was a marvel of engineering.
"You two ready for the Tunnel Of Love?" The man spoke, seemingly depressed. Sima didn't care about the vendors attitude however, Sima was just exciting he would be able to try something like this. "Please enter.." He groaned as another modified mine cart rolled up into its position. Sima grabbed the door and opened it slowly, beckoning for Lilith to enter first.

Lilith shrugged at his comment, feeling no need to explain. She knew what she meant- she was taking a chance with Sima- letting him in. She didn't even have friends that she let in, and here she was with SIma, who was obviously far more than a friend, trusting him with her life. She didn't regret a thing. She smiled softly at her own thoughts, and hadn't noticed how dark it had become until it was pointed out to her. At the mention of fireworks her eyes darted to his and a smile light up her face. She'd never seen them in person, only drawings and descriptions.
Really? Do you think we can stay for them! I know you're worried about getting home... She trailed off uncertainly, wanting to put their safety before her fun. She looked at the man as he spoke and felt sympathy for him. She knew what it felt like to be in his position, sort of. Being in a crowd of people, all in love, or couples of sort, and having to stand there and watch them for hours, knowing you will go home to an empty house- it was never a good feeling.
Lilith entered at Sima's request, quite curious of the tunnel and how it worked. She'd never before seen such a contraption, and it intrigued her endlessly. How did it work? What was it's purpose? Her excitement radiated off of her along side her curiosity. She looked back for Sima, waiting for him to follow so they could enjoy the tunnel together.

Sima got into the cart with Lilith and spoke after closing the door and settling himself. "Of course we can stay for the fireworks, you really think I am not going to let you see them!" Sima wanted to see them pretty badly, especially since they could look completely different here. Sima sat down beside Lilith and waited for the ride to kick in. Once it did the minecart starting heading down the track, it do so at a slow and relaxing pace. It felt odd being pulled down a track in a cart usually meant for iron, or coal. Sima watched as they entered the tunnel, and it turned pitch black. "Wo.. scary," Sima chuckled slightly, not afraid of the darkn clearly, but quickly remembering that Lilith was. Sima moved his hand to find hers, not really needing his sight to such a simple task, his nose was clearly enough. "This is oddly nice," Sima smiled, although probably not visible at how dark the tunnel was.
Sima listened to the cart, he could hear the wheels against the tracks, yet still rather quiet. "I wonder, isn't there supposed to be lights in here?" Sima thought curiously, the title was certainly curious, but what did that entail? Sima didn't bother to ask, but he wasn't one to waste an opportunity, so he would probably use it as it was intended, without realizing it, but for now he was just enjoying relaxing time with Lilith, in the dark. They could sit down alone, something they were not able to do all day.

Good! I've never seen fireworks... Not in person. She let out a nervous laugh and settled into the cart with Sima. For some reason her heart was pounding, nervously waiting for it to begin. Once they started moving Lilith felt Sima's hand find hers, and she quickly realized why. They had moved into a pitch black tunnel. If Sima hadn't grabbed her hand, she wouldn't have been able to tell if he was still there.
Yeah... scary. Another nervous laugh, this one void of real humour. What was this ride? Why was it so dark? The continued on, and it didn't seem to Lilith that there would be a light anytime soon. What was the point of this? A slow quite ride in the dark with a loved one? That was just... Oh. Lilith's heart kick started and she slouched into her spot slowly, her face heating up to a positively glowing shade of red- not that it was visible. She gripped Simas hand in hers- it figured, she could randomly kiss him in public, around people she didn't know, but now, alone and in the dark her was so scared. She blamed it on the actually darkness, it was frightening for her. She remained silent at Simas question, wondering if he would put the pieces together himself.

XANDER a few seconds ago QUOTEEDITlikePost Options Post by xander on a few seconds ago Sima realized after a few minutes what was going on. The name made much more sense now "Tunnel of Love" That meant that they were here to be alone, and not have any interruptions to hinder that romantic appeal. Sima grabbed Lilith's other hand, this way she would have to be positioned toward him properly. The dark made things more then Likely confusing for Lilith, where as Sima could rely on his nose to tell him where he was in depth toward Lilith. Sima then leaned in towards Lilith's mouth, pressing his lips once again against hers. This was something that both confused, and stunned Sima. Sima's heart beat raised at un-normal levels, and he couldn't quite put his finger on it. Sima wasn't one to be so easily flustered, so what was it that made him feel so much un-ease. He realized quickly what it was, but refrained from trying to show Lilith this hesitation of his. Of course, this was because Sima still thought of his old family, something he doubted he'd ever forget.
Sima didn't want to ruin things for Lilith though, he had made up his mind! That's what he said he would do, and he was going to do it. Sima would pick Lilith, despite his slight un-ease about this romantic situation. Sima was determined to not show hesitation to Lilith, so he would perhaps come off a bit strong, if they continued.

Lilith was startled as Sima grabbed her other hand, willing her to face him. He must have figured it out- it wasn't difficult. She could feel her heart beat, it was pounding in her chest and she could hear it in her ears, she felt as though he could too, it was silent enough. She couldn't see, not anything, but she could feel when he moved towards her, due to the heat radiating off of his body. Though she knew what was happening, the kiss still startled her. This was different than any other kiss they'd shared. It was always been in the daylight, in her home-only that one time had it gone slightly further. This-this was in the dark, it was meant to intimate, romantic. It was a entirely different feel and mood, and furthermore, a different kiss.
Lilith gripped Simas hands tightly, and leaned into the kiss, allowing it to continue on. Yes, she was nervous and antsy because of the dark, but that didn't change how it felt for her when he kissed her. It was raw, and real, and for her at least, it felt right. She let go of one of his hands, holding the other tightly, and raised the free one to his face, pushing any hair out of it, then resting it on his cheek. His skin was soft against her fingers, like satin, and she loved it. Her nerves slowly faded and she forgot the dark altogether now that her eyes had fallen closed. This ride was turning out to be the best part of their day together- almost. The talk they had on the way there still gave her butterflies, but this was definitely working it's way up the list in her mind.

Sima enjoyed the time they shared in this tunnel, he tried his best not to realize how quickly in fact that they had grown. Sima didn't want to think about the ring that laid on his chest, because to him it was a burden. However, Sima had a commitment to make, to someone who was just as special, and had feelings too. Sima didn't want to hurt Lilith, he wanted to be with her, but was he appropriate for it? Sima decided to push these hesitations out of his mind and focus on the woman's lips in front of him. Sima himself got lost in the moment, after a while. Without even noticing, as they ventured deeper into the tunnel, a small light appeared at the end of it. Sima didn't even notice, him himself, now with his mind on what mattered, was only interested in the way Lilith felt against him. Sima didn't notice, but the ride did indeed stop. When it did stop, the area that exited was on the other side of that hill they entered. This section was light beautifully with hanging lights strung up on poles, across a vast open area that seemed to be 'mood light'.
Sima stopped when he started to hear whistling. People could see at the end of the ride? Sima would assume that they would be privately exiting as well. Sima blushed slightly, opening the door, getting ready for Lilith to exit as well, assuming she would be more embarrassed than him.

Liilth heard voices, sounds... people? Her eyes snapped open and her face turned scarlet. She quickly exited after Sima, ducking her head and keeping her eyes down. Why would that ride end so openly? Her face was so red she could feel the warmth with her hands as she covered her face for a moment. With a sigh, she looked up to the sky, and noticed it was almost sundown. The fireworks would be starting soon. The tips of her ears were still burning, but she took ahold of Simas hand and guided them away from the crowds for a moment, to sit. True, they just had been, but this was different. She sat in the grass and looked up to the sky, using her arms to prop her up with her legs straight out in front of her, like she was basking in the starlight. Lilith gestured for Sima to join her. It wouldn't be long now, and it was a decent spot.
So... That was a fun ride. She laughed lightly, a nervous tone in her voice, but she meant it. After a moment, she leaned her head into his shoulder, still looking up. She enjoyed watching sunsets, and seeing the first few stars make their way into the sky. Lilith let out a soft sigh- today was a good day.

Sima followed Lilith curiously, sitting down beside her without needing much pointer to do so. It was certainly getting dark quick, but it was rather quiet despite the amounts of people in their vicinity. Sima could smell whatever it was that made the fireworks 'pop' he could smell the powder, it was something that was just so different to anything else. Sima knew they were prepping the fireworks and it would be soon, he wasn't quite sure just how different it would be here. "Yeah, I certainly enjoyed the ride." Sima laughed quietly. "I'm interested to see how the fireworks look," Sima looked at Lilith as she leaned against him. It was odd how comfortable he felt, almost as if they had been together for the entire month he'd known her. Sima moved his hand over to hers, enjoying the comfort of it when he held her hand. "Hey, Lilith." Sima spoke in a calming tone.
"Maybe one day I'll get a house, and you could move in with me." Sima listened to her breathing, he found it oddly calming when she was so close like this.

I am too. I've seen pictures, but I've never been to an event that had them- they're expensive to use I hear. She repositioned her head to get more comfortable, breathing in as she did- she kept doing that today, accidentally breathing in Sima's scent and it made her blush every time. She let out the breath and closed her eyes for a moment, waiting for the bright lights to begin. She smiled softly when she felt Sima hold her hand. It was an odd feeling, the flutter in her stomach at such a small detail, but she liked it none the less.
Lilith tilted her head slightly to look up at his face when he spoke her name, giving him her full attention. After he proposed his thoughts a slow and small smile grew on her face. It certainly was a nice thought.
Now that would be a change... me moving in with you, rather than you, who have already moved in with me. She laughed, only joking, and nodded in agreement.
You know, I think that sounds wonderful. Actually, I will admit, I have been thinking about getting a bigger house, mostly so you could have a bigger kitchen, so you'd stop almost burning the ceiling. I've been looking at prices... it wouldn't be too difficult. She was more thinking out loud, but she had been meaning to tell him. She looked back up at the sky and grinned at the first light exploded in the sky in a shimmer of yellow and pink. Lilith's face began to glow. her eyes sparkling with the reflection of the falling embers.

Sima reacted a little worried when she spoke of him burning the ceiling. "I always clean it though!" He disputed. It was true, Sima was a rather clean person, he felt that he wasn't a bother to her, at least he hoped so anyways. Sima waited for the fantasmic fire of works to start, and surely enough they began, almost without warning. They shot out into the sky one by one, each of varying different colors. Sima sat there watching them with a pondering curious mind. Sima just watched silently, although the supposed fireworks were amazing, he was much more intent on returning home afterwords. They would be alone again, as long as no bandits decided to follow.

Lilith leaned forward, and off of Sima, becoming entranced by the lights in the sky. Her hand remained in his, and she squeezed it excitedly. She had the happiest face she may have ever had in that moment. She turned to face Sima.
Isn't this amazing!? Her smile faded a little, and she poked him on the nose. Hey mister. This is amazing, enjoy it! she spoke lightly, only joking, and turned back up to face the sky. She fell onto her back, still holding his hand, and watched them while laying down, completely entranced.

The fireworks lasted for about 30-40 minutes. It wasn't that long, but as soon as it was over, the entire area was filled with silence, other than the few giggles of wayward couples. Sima was stunned for most of the show, not by the fireworks, but by Lilith's reaction towards them. Sima wasn't sure if he exactly deserved a second life, but regardless, if Lilith wanted him around, he'd take the life given to him. [b"You ready to walk home?"[/b] The trip was still 3 hours, Sima doubted they would be back by sun rise, but would be getting home quite early in the morning. "I'm sure we can talk some more on the way back anyways," Sima had an amazing sense of direction thanks to his nose, you could blindfold him, send him 1000 km from his home, and he'd probably still be able to find his way back.
Sima grabbed Lilith hand, getting up and attempting to pull Lilith to her feet. "Let's go," Sima smiled laughing, more or less as a buffer knowing that the return home would be a rather long one. Sima started walking, assuming Lilith would keep a hold of his hand and follow, or decide to do her own thing, he didn't mind it was up to her. Sima guided them back to the trail in which they had taken to get here, perhaps the other people had left already, it was oddly quiet. "So did you enjoy yourself?" Sima asked her curiously, although he noted that there was a so to say 'big elephant' in the room now, this was the only time it really sucked in that they were in fact together now. It would certainly pose an awkward situation for a while as they adjusted to this, in fact it was probably the festival that kept them going with interest, but he could say he was curious to see how this relationship blossomed.
"Lilith, if you don't mind me asking.. Am I the first one you've kissed? The first one you've been 'this' close to." Sima decided that an awkward conversation was still a conversation.
