We will be starting another cycle of quests shortly. The cycle will last until all quests are complete. We are now introducing player-made quests. Two quests from every cycle will be staff-made and the remaining two will be player-made.
Player-made quests take one of two forms. The first is player-requested. A player will set the stage for what of place they are exploring or what kind of work they are doing. For example, a player might say, “We’re going to explore the Manna Gorge” OR “We offer our aid to the Royal Guard”. You'll be providing the initial set-up for the quest. You can explore the same place more than once, of course, and get two entirely different adventures. The rewards for these quests will be variable and not listed ahead of time. The second is character-funded. If a player would like a group to do something on the behalf of their character, they can put up a quest. As the name suggests, they will fund the rewards themselves.
Player-made quests will start like many others, but the staff will intervene at critical moments as necessary. Player-made does not mean player-run exactly. However, players will help set the stage for what the staff will be doing.
Player-made quests come on a first come, first serve basis, but a member can only make one quest at a time. If you wish to make a quest, follow the form below.
