Rivers would find a neatly wrapped package on his bed one night. With a small note scribbled on the top ‘Sorry it took so long, took longer to make then I originally thought it would’ Sincerely Aria
When the package was opened it would be a pocket watch, the casing on the outside carved with a polished white wood with a grey undertone. Opening it up he would find a gold watch; the top of the watch with a simple engraving ‘To Rivers, From Aria’ If he ran his finger over the engraving the letters would shift and warp to form the symbol of the crown and daggers. When he removed his finger the engraving would shift back to the engraved message. If muse or someone else tried to touch it, it would stay the simple engraving. Curious thing about the watch is it did not give off the feel of illusionary magic, however it was easily sensed from the wood around it.
The wood was carved from the forever tree, so it had very strong magical properties already to it. The watch would never be damaged, nor would it tarnish with time.
There was another enchantment that was mixed into this watch, which Rivers would eventually figure out. Though probably wasn’t as useful for him as it was for Aria considering. He would be able to communicate with Aria at any time mentally by using the watch. If Aria wanted to contact him it would grow warm, as long as Rivers opened the watch she would be able to communicate with him. If not he would know she wanted to talk to him; and she knew he certainly had the means to do that with or without the watch.
