Biography
History:
Lucinda is a 10th generation Noru, descended from Cain’s brother, Allister Noru. She grew up in the palace in Palico, the kingdom being handed down to her father after her grandfather passed, making her the Princess of Palico. Lucy is the second born of her family, her old brother Silas being 5 years older than her. Neither of them ever met their grandfather, of course. Lucy was raised to be a proper lady, learning the mannerisms, posture and etiquette expected of her. She studied what was expected of her as well, including history, culture, religion and economy. Being very smart and quick of wit, she excelled in all her studies and classes. She learned to paint and play the lyre and the harp, both being very similar instruments. At her request, she was taught archery as a recreational activity. Her parents were very proud and she was obviously pampered, but they kept her somewhat sheltered. As such, she’s only been outside the Palico palace on special occasions and never by herself, which suited her just fine. She pitied the commoners their poor and dirty lot in life, but everyone couldn’t be equal or there would be no one to run the kingdom. Life for her was a series of lessons, parties, balls, and the ever changing seasonal festivities.
Recently however, things have taken a noticeable turn for the worst. Her father passed from old age and her mother shortly after from grief and stress, both of them being around 50, leaving the throne to her older brother Silas. After recent talks with the neighboring kingdom of Teair, whom is governed by another branch of their family headed by their cousin Noku, Silas asked Lucinda if she would go to Nova as an ambassador. Of course, she agreed, eager to put space between her and her childhood home which now was empty. (In the only way that a palace full of servants and other wealthy nobles can be)
A message was sent to Teair to sort everything out. A horse drawn coach was then prepared for her and a small guard was assembled along with a guide to escort her safely through the Heaven’s Pass mountains via Manna Gorge. They packed some basic provisions along with two large trunks full of her things and set out on the week long trek. While in Nova, she made quite a few new friends, had Aria appointed as a Duchess and Head Dragon Tamer for Palico.
She spent a few months in Nova before Silas brought her back home.
During her stay at home in Palico, Aria got her official coronation which of course Lucinda attended after Silas assured her that it was to be a standard affair. it went horribly wrong when he forced Aria to transform and calm down a number of wild drakes, leaving her naked and embarrassed afterward. Lucinda was furious and during the rest of both her and Aria's stay, kept mostly to herself. After everything settled down in Nova and the attack on Helena was thoroughly over, Lucinda returned to Nova as soon as possible, still very much upset with her brother. She's not really playing the part of the good ambassador this time around, though that's still her official job.
