Hello Everyone,What is this?
As the site has started to shift and things are happening in the wake of Hellfire we are trying to get some synopses of key events or major threads. We would be grateful if players would be willing to write up short descriptions of key threads their characters were in, from the character's perspective. We're going to use these to make a timeline, and there will be a reward for those who participate. Ground Rules
1) Please don't write something if you see several other people have already covered the event. 2) Your character does not have to have been present, though it would be nice 3) We are using this to explain what happened so please try to make it descriptive of what transpired during the event. In addition to the participation reward one synopsis will be chosen for each of the following categories and a special prize will be given to those those characters: Categories
Funniest RecountingMost Informative ReportPopular ChoicePlease post your Chronicle in this thread.

I, Séanait the daughter of Ádhamhnán, was present at and participated in the rescue of Coaxoch Fynn - better known as Claire - and the other Fated unjustly arrested and imprisoned on the orders of Duchess Severine Zoe. This is an account of the actions of those who participated in the rescue and the events leading up to the aforementioned event. It had never been my intention to rescue Claire, as I knew her. I knew that she had attacked the King, but I also knew that this had been after he had attempted to rape her. Now, contrary to what Claire herself believed at the time, her ended up scantily clad in Noku Noru's bed was not an action of the king but of the Goddess Vennessa. There was, however, no excuse for the King's behavior or reaction when Claire turned him down. As aforementioned, I had no intention of participating in the rescue, but neither had I any intention of enforcing it. After Claire was not given a fair and proper trial, and resigned from the Guards so as to avoid any possibility of subjecting any other free men and women to the King's injustice. However, this was not to be and circumstances forced me into a position where I had no choice but to fight. The seed of the rescue began when the Duchess, whom I have previously referred to, announced that Claire was to be executed the next day and associated her with the Fated. She then went on to imply that the Fated were conspiring against the King and encouraged the populace to round up the Fated and bring them in for arrest. Knowing the signs of a riot and rightly fearing one, I began to flee the city but was intercepted by a bard named Rivers. There was a brief attempt by guards who knew me to capture me, but we evaded them through the use of River's magic "portals", as he calls them. Rivers took myself and others whom he had rescued from the mob to a decrepit looking cabin in the middle of the Forever Forest. There he proposed that we rescue Claire and, knowing that war had been declared on those of us unfortunate enough to be dragged into this world, I agreed to participate. Whether or not Rivers had intended to rescue Claire from the start I do not know, but a plan was quickly formulated by him with input from those of us who had experience in fighting. The plan was, obviously, a hasty one and did not account for several variables. It did not also account for the fact that we were a fragmented team made up of individuals who hardly knew each other and contained some members with little or no combat experience. In light of what happened the next day, this was obviously a bad idea but, as I have said previously, all this was planned at the last minute. The first of the problems occurred when it was observed that the pit into which Claire was to be sacrificed contained the physical form of mana known as "Caster's Sorrow", which prevented us from opening a tunnel directly underneath Claire as she was pushed in. This necessitated a more direct plan, and so an assault was hastily arranged. @runicblade - better known as Kail - and Serenity Caine were posted on a roof top to observe and provide covering fire. Serenity had also been given one of River's tunnels, which she could use to drop what is called a "bomb", consisting of a very energetic powder that burns like lightning, into the pit and to escape if necessary. Rivers, a demoic Fated named Roxanne and myself formed the assault team. We came through a tunnel after the bomb had detonated in the pit and injured whatever monster was residing in it. Rivers lead and formed a magical barrier to prevent projectiles from harming us, while Roxy and myself dispatched the guards we could reach. Things began well, and we were joined by a mage named Sima Oratio and a mercenary named Louie Kanto, who was working for an unknown employer. Events did not unfold in a predictable or safe manner, however. Roxy formed a barrier of fire which threatened to detonate shards of Caster's Sorrow thrown up by the explosion and the captain of the Civilian Guard, Garrett Blade, somehow demolished the gallows patform. This resulted in a number of further injuries to ourselves and the Fated and other innocent men, women and children who had been arrested on false charges and brought to witness Claire's execution. I have no doubt that any who did not conform to Severine's wishes would have been disposed of in that pit; if not at Claire's execution, then at a later date. @numaire, one of the Fated who had been falsely arrested, had a relationship with Garrett and, after seeing him in the line of fire, she attempted to protect him. Kail misunderstood this action and so attacked her with his "mana railgun". After this, we began to evacuate the Fated we had rescued and fell back through the portal. I was the second last to return; Rivers remained to perform damage control and ordered me to return against my wishes. And so I have related the true and factual events surrounding the rescue of the Fated. As you can see, it was neither the malicious massacre certain authors have claimed, nor was it the opening act in the war between the Fated and the Crown, but was a retaliatory strike for warlike actions by the Crown.

*clears throat. Adjusts wings to rest against the back of my chair and curls my tail around my feet* I will tell you about what happened after the mess at the gallows and the recovery, beginning at the end of Aftermath.
After we rescued Claire in Hellfire and everyone recovered in Aftermath, Louie showed up. He was clearly high but he provided some good help for the healers. He came outside where a small group of us were discussing what to do next. Claire had cut off her hair in an impressive and amusing display since she almost stabbed herself with Rivers's magical swords. Shy was impressed with that and decided to devout herself to Claire's service. Rivers lost it though and spent quite some time laughing. I debated on his sanity, coming to the conclusion that he was just really stressed out and deciding to follow him anyway for the time being along with Serenity and Lia. Kail reluctantly agreed to come along as well. He was still really upset with the whole thing. Louie then informed us of a special place that some mysterious, apparently large breasted, benefactor had created just for Fated and other outcasts.
Rivers was all for that option and since we had agreed to follow him, we got roped in too. Claire was having none of it. Her and Shy disappeared into the sunset, so to speak. Our group, minus Louie somehow, I'm really not sure what happened to him, made our way through a tunnel Rivers made. That's what he does, by the way. He's a bard with many talents, including making magic tunnels and being a wind mage. Anyway, so we all arrived safely at Gallow's Bane.
The place is amazing, to say the least. It's build into the mountain near Manna Gorge and because of this, there's hundreds of thousands of crystals everywhere. All colors, all sizes, in all places within and outside. There's a tavern, which is fairly typical. There's the crystal lake, which is as still as glass most of the time, huge and very deep. There's even a farm of sorts, with fish and chickens and hydro gardens full of vegetables, fruits, grains, and herbs. Kail found a forge and alchemy lab, which he claimed and labeled as Arcane Cross. Meanwhile, Rivers purchased a large house within Bane called Haven. Haven is awesome. We have a library, a hot springs, individual rooms and lots of space. By we I mean: Rivers, Lia, Serenity, and myself. We live in Haven together. No, we're not his personal harem. *laughs*
There's been some tension, both normal and sexual. Currently, both Serenity and I are vying for Rivers affections. *shrugs* What can I say? He's very attractive. Though, Serenity also has a thing for Kail. Or at least she did before he decided to be an ass and ruin our hot springs visit on our very first night in Haven. Rivers was extremely pissed about that. Lia left, uncomfortable, with her new baby dragon. He's adorable, by the way. Cutest thing I've ever seen. I think she's been hiding in her room ever since. Serenity too, except for a brief trip to the library where we ran into each other. But I've got to go, Rivers and I are supposed to be on a not-so-secret mission for Aria at the Forever Tree. More on that later.
*flys away*

Report #763 Blossom Festival Assassination Attempt
Disclaimer: The creator of this report did not witness of occurrence of the crime occurring here in, the information here what has been gathered through various witness accounts and data collected after the fact.
The perpetrator Coaxoch Fynn, better known as Claire was paired with King Noru in the blossom festival this year (see document #654 Blossom Festival Matchings). Based on my own experience with the festival and that of several other individuals (see document #752 Blossom Festival Witness Accounts) found themselves kidnapped by the goddess Venessa and relocated to another location along with their match. (note: this offense constitutes kidnapping and several other offenses. A warrant for the goddesses arrest will be forth coming)
Claire was delivered to the king's chambers dressed as a though she was a woman of pleasure. The exchange hereafter is heavily slanted by biases. Confirmed facts are that Claire appears to have believed the king was going to take advantage of her, that the king had no intention of doing so against her will, and that due to a breakdown in communication the perpetrator broke a bottle over the king's head.
[This section has been removed]
The King's advisor prioritized seeing after the king's condition after he arrived and Claire made her escape out the window. At time of capture the window shards are attributed with the majority of her injuries. I [Roland of the Royal Guard] returned and gave chase, eventually with the assistance of several of the king's personal guards we captured Claire and she has been imprisoned.
Later interrogation proved that Claire is not a Fated as initially believed and hails form a far off land on the other side of the world (see document #756 for Report On Foreign Lands and document # 760 for Regent's Interrogation of Fynn). She appears to believe she was sent here by the gods.
Her possession has been seized and one of particular note [this section has been removed]
Addendum
The perpetrator has been found guilty and is to be executed in a week and a half.

I, Lilith Harmonia, wasn't directly involved in any of the events that transpired recently- I actually tried to stay out of all of this.. But I can tell you what happened from the beginning of aftermath. I was heading to lady @numaire home, by the end of the events in the Gallows, as a friend of mine, Sima Oratio was involved, though I do not know the details of that. All I knew was that there was a possibility of my friends returning to Aria's home injured, and I have healing powers. What kind of person would I be if I stayed at home while my friends suffered in pain? I knew not the details, as I stated before, of the event or what they had done. I arrived at the cabin early evening to find that Trésor de Lys and @otsoa were already present, having been summoned by Aria herself. She wished us to come to the city and heal the civilians, yet as we were about to depart, Rivers infamous tunnels opened in the cabin and many people starting piling through. I assume it was the group from the Gallows, but many innocents arrived as well. Instructions were not needed to know that the civilians have 100% first priority. I can't say I knew anyone in the group from the Gallows, aside from @runicblade, and Rivers, leaving out the healers whom were already with me. A strange man arrived later, and I did not catch his name, but he was mesmerized by the Lunar flowers, and he ended up making a paste for us to use on the wounded, and it worked rather well. Though, through the whole ordeal he spoke to the flowers as though they were human and could hear him... Vulgar things that man said. From what I gather, he was, how is it said now? Stoned? Regardless, we stuck to ourselves, focusing on the healing, so I'm afraid I can't tell you much of what transpired outside the cabin. Once everyone was healed, Rivers brought the innocents home, and from what I gather he took another group of people to a new destination. I did not catch the name. I myself decided to head home- healing takes a large toll on me, all but drains my own life. As for Trésor and Otsoa, I believe they wanted to start a healing clinic in the city, not a bad idea. As for me, as I said, I headed home. From there I decided to join the Mage guard to further lend my healing abilities.. This is where I stand.

Post by Trésor de Lys on May 31, 2015 7:52:58 GMT
*Sits tall, legs crossed at the ankles, hands placed firmly in lap, her wings fluttering slowly- occasionally hitting chair*
My given name is Trésor de Lys. I must confess, I was never really well informed of any of the events prior to the aftermath that occureed in my-current- place of residence, Aria's cabin. So, I sadly cannot relay any information about that. However I can start at the aftermath. I had been going about my day, preparing tea and the like. When suddenly Otsoa and Lilith arrived at the cabin, Otsoa in a panic over Aria-who I realized had been gone from the cabin for quite a few days. But I never ask her where she goes- I figure it is best that I remain blind to her business. However in this case, I was had to be pulled in. They informed me that we were requested as healers to assist in an extreme event, this was the only information we were given at that moment. I immediately went to work, searching the entirety of the household for any healing aliments. I, at least, looked for anything that could assist us. I then asked Otsoa and Lilith to rummage through the kitchen and remain in the cabin until we were ready to go to the city to begin. Meanwhile I went out into the woods for a few moments to retrieve some honey as another source of a natural remedy. After filling half a jar with the substance, I returned to the cabin as fast as I could-seeing as the situation appeared dire. I arrived only to find that five people had already shown up-whose names I never had the chance to get. But there were two red heads, a blonde male, and a petite female with pinkish-purple hair. The darker red head and the blonde man seemed to be upset with one another over whatever happened before. The one witnessed something that the other had done... I'm not entirely sure. The bright red-head offered us the information we needed; who's alright, a summary of what happened, who will be arriving soon, what we should be ready for. After that, more people arrived, and injured civilians soon following. The healers got to work as others made their way outside after being directed by a strong brown-haired woman. She certainly took charge- it's quite admirable. We kept to healing as others disputed outside-it was quite distracting. Meanwhile, Otsoa had found more lunar flowers to help. But then this big burly man with dreadlocks wandered in... I think his mind had been wandering as well, since he found himself sexually attracted to the lunar flowers and herbs within the kitchen. It was almost appalling, but in the long-run, he helped make lunar paste- and for that at least, I am grateful. He left the room, we kept healing. When we were nearly done, I escorted one of the civilians outside to be with the remainder of the people. There I saw the strong brunette cut off her hair, and create an uproar. The large man made his way through the crowd and explained where those who partook in the event prior made their errors. It was quite interesting. By then, people were making quick decisions, who's going where, who's going to divvy up... I ran back inside waiting for Otsoa and Lilith to finish their healing, then asked what they were doing- since I had no idea where Aria was or how long I would be staying with her. Lilith told me she was going home and Otsoa was still unsure. Soon after everyone cleared out, and it was just Otsoa and I. We cleaned up a little, had some tea, calmed down... Healing really does take a toll- not a lot of people realize that. Anyhow, this is my recollection.
After all this Otsoa and I simply hung around the cabin until the day after, when we headed to the city. This is really all I have to offer from my memory.
