Diamond woke up early as the dawn was slowly breaking through the windows. He had found a spot on the floor and used his cloak and his pack, to be used as a pillow and blanket. None the less the white haired mercenary got up and stretched a bit. Seeing from what it looked like most of the others were asleep or already awake and doing other things around the house. He was tempted to borrow Shy's bow to hunt with but figured that he would go with out. And to try and ambush his prey or use magic to slay whatever he needed to eat. Diamond silently moves about and then opens the door. Diamond smells the fresh air and felt good he takes his crystals and a survival knife. He silently goes into the brush and moves like a predator. While going through the brush for a while and then he finds a deer and it was a bit too far out. He takes out a dark blue gem and starts to tap into its energy. With the other hand he forms a spear of ice and throws it with a massive amount of force. Diamond's aim had been a bit low and was able to hit it in the leg. It started to try and get away. But due to its injury it would have a hard time. He runs as fast as he could and tackled the deer, then dispatches the animal in a quick and humain way as possible. It make its death as painless as it could.
After saying a prayer to the god giving his thanks for the deer he found, after doing that he picks up the deer and walks back to the cabin. He stops a little ways away starts to break down the animal. Diamond does skin the animal as the fur and hide could sell for a bit of extra money. As well as the antlers for some medicines. Once he got that done he sets a decent size camp fire outside and starts to cook the meat he was able to extract. The other stuff he disposed of discretely and away from the cabin. And away from a water from a major water source to not to contaminate it. If the others did wake up and step outside they would see Diamond cooking up some heat over an open flame. The meat would smell wonderful as he had used some herbs to season the meat. He would hope this would make up for some of the food and ale he consumed while being a guest in the cabin.
