Kail still feeling that he had a chip on his shoulder in a sense as he had to improve fast as any bastion that they had as fated would crumble. He had lost a nice farm house that he, Shy, and Ilta were going to build up. It was one of the few places that he had considered home a real home. For the first time in his damn life he had a place to finally call a home. He did have to share, but he did work equally for it. But that came tumbling down due to one person's xenophobia and just hatred for being from another world. They bled like everyone else in this world and it pissed him off. Even then for the blond, most of the others perhaps saw him as yes your useful only when it was deemed fit or just a rare occasion. Perhaps he was being a bit vain and childish wanting attention, perhaps in a good way. But all he got was the negative or things just turned out badly for him. So he left Gallow's Bane for a adventure and perhaps his own mission to find something amazing or uber. Kail wanted to get something or find something that would help him in the long run. Perhaps even what his purpose was while in Nova a quest for self discovery. So he left a not on his door to his workshop that he was heading down to the mana gorge. To find materials for new weapons and armor.

He had went down to the gorge below and was dressed ruggedly with whatever durable clothes he had. The blond had his fixed wing shield, and sting loaded into it. On both of his thighs were his survival knives sheathed. He also had his new long sword sheathed to his left side and his silver knife on his right. Over his shoulders was his pack with a few items, food, water container, a flint and steel, bed kit, a hand axe, and a pick. This was a bit insane and nuts but how was he going to get stronger then he was now? He was not a mage and knew that mana motes could kill him. But who was going to teach him anyway? He was going to take a plunge and was going to make this sink or swim. Kail started to look around the gorge for some kind of magical ore. If he died then oh well, there might have been a few that would be saddend by his demise while others would enjoy it.

Kail was mostly frustrated at himself at how powerless he felt about himself, he had hoped that this adventure would change this.

It was time to return to the castle, her time in Bane cut short, in fear of her absence being questioned by anyone from the Court. Also her 'contact' didn't arrive with the other Fated who had shown up just a few days ago. River's being the one to lead the tired group to the home he had bought. She was impressed, but yet disturbed that possibly her contact had been captured or worse… He had gone off the grid due to his 'medication' habits. . So it was time to search, even if it meant to walk the entire way back to the castle. Her determination forcing her leave Bane and down into the dangerous pass at the base of the mountain, a gorge that lived up to it's name.

Now, she walked cautiously and carefully around the Sorrow filled gashes that maimed the land between the Heaven's Pass. Her eyes scanning the area around her, cautious of the active and chaotic manna vents that could release particle dust size 'Caster Sorrow' into the atmosphere. Something she didn't want to be close to in her current state. However she was not expecting to see another humanoid figure scavenging around some less active vents. Her eyes fallowing the young man as she silently stalked her way around the vents to where he was at. When she was close enough to see more defined details on a possibly identity, Mysteria's attention fell down to his side. A Foreign and yet familiar pressure that she knew all too well. Her lips parting to crack a small smile.

" You won't find anything useful that way, Sir. " Mysteria spoke up finally, standing just on the other side of the vent he was trying to excavate. For once Mysteria was actually some what 'casual' looking, with a simple dress with matching arm sleeves, the color of midnight purple and black lace. Mysteria's hair was even let down, The tips lightly brushing the ground as she stood there. Her bangs were pulled back away from her face with a decorative elven-style braid. Her posture proper, as she stood there looking at Kail, showing the man that she her intentions were not to cause trouble.

Kail had saw the vent and was going to try and pick into it with his pickaxe. Making himself chuckling that he was in minecraft. The blond missed his computer and other things until someone spoke up saying that he would find nothing there. He turned while stopping his swing and looked over at the woman that spoke up. Kail was curious as he was trying to figure out who this lady was. "Any idea where I should look" he said and carefully walked over to Mysteria. Once he got closer to her, his brow burrowed as he was trying to remember where he had seen her face. Then it struck him like a lightning bolt "Uh Lady Mysteria right? What in the heck are you doing out here? I knew that you were at Gallow's Bane for a bit, when we got there. But I thought you teleported back to Nova" he said looking very surprised by seeing her. Kail put his pickaxe into a loop on his pack. It was very odd for someone like Mysteria to be out like this. Or that's what he at least thought on the matter.

"Er perhaps we should get to a safer spot to talk" he said and was eyeing the vent that was throwing out particles into the air. Kail was not sure if some were stable or not but wanted to move away now since he was now with someone now then just being on my own.

Mysteria's eyes trailed to the pickaxe in Kail's hand. From the time he had to walk over to her, she had already studied the craft and the durability of the pick before meeting the young man's gaze once again. She watched in curiosity as he stopped to examine her, remaining silent at his first question. Her brow raised before letting out a chuckle; For now ignoring the question as he began to speak up again. Mysteria's smile broadening when Kail asked what and why she was doing out here.

" You have a good memory. " She nodded, acknowledging that he had indeed had her name right, before continuing. " Oh, no I hadn't left Bane as you can tell. I'm currently on my way back to the kingdom. There are things I have do and complete before I can return home."

Mysteria turned, lifting her hand to point up to the direction where she had left, Bane. " Also, teleportation requires the use of manna and right now I would like to spare my energy when I have the capability to walk." She laughed, placing her hand on her hip. Head slightly tilting as he suggested to travel to a more safer location.

" There is no 'safe place' in any world, just a brief moment of peace." She said in a soft tone, spoken as if quoted. Her smile fading as she soon took on a more serious attitude. Her attention now past Kail and scanned the area around them, the spewing vents not going un-noticed or un-accounted for as she seemed to mouth off " 1, 2, 3 ~ " Counting the amount the vent spewed. Her eyes not leaving the vent nor did her counting stop until the particles from the vent had died down and settled. " A Manna vent isn't dangerous unless you inhale the red clouds it's spews out, or if you try and use magic close by an active vent……" Her attention drawing back to Kail and the pickaxe he had looped on his bag.

" Your name is Kail, Correct? May I ask a question of my own? What is it that you are searching for out here? "

Kail nods a bit "Your one of the few I can respect in Nova. Most of the others I can care less about at this point" he said as Severine and machinations had left a very bitter taste in his mouth. As they moved a bit, Kail heard Mysteria speak about why she was not warping around. A) She wanted to conserve her energy and the fact she had a bit more business before heading back to Nova. Then hears the woman mentioning a quote or something to that extent. He had to laugh at the irony of it "Ah how true, that also fits us Fated right now...." the blond said as it felt like that. As he jumped from the farm house, to Aria's hide out, and then to Gallow's Bane. It seemed like a moment of piece for Kail and hoped that he did not have to keep running. The blond did take of what Mysteria had said on the Mana Vents and nodded his head. He had made sure that even before she had mentioned that he did not breath that in.

Then Mysteria had asked him why, he was out here in the Mana Gorge. "I'm looking for magical ores to make arms and armor out of. I don't know much magic, and out of the majority of the other fated I'm not some experienced hero or legendary adventurer. I've been lucky with things I have made.....I don't want to be hunted down like some animal. Then made into a slave or even some victim to die for someone's political statement or powerplay. Sorry, if I went to far....at times I just feel powerless of the situation at hand" he said and the blond was just frustrated with what had been happening. Even though he had friends it seemed though that he ended up more on his own and alone. "I can escort you to the edge of the farmlands of Nova. Even though you can defend yourself, I don't feel right that your going to be traveling alone" he said as in good faith. He did not feel right that this woman was traveling alone. Perhaps it was his honor as a man and in some sense have some chivalry, even though most of the time he was ass to people.

Mysteria laughed at kail's comment and trailed off into a light chuckle. Her expression softened, with a closed lipped smile. " I am glad to hear you haven't lost faith in people in this world yet." She noted, turning her head to look at direction of where Nova would be located.

Mysteria smirked and returned her attention back to kail, listening as he explained what he was doing out here. Her brow raised in curiosity as the smile on her face grew. " I see...If that is the case then you've been looking in the wrong places... You won't get anything other than active caster sorrow if you try and mine directly IN the vent." She warned, stepping as close to the vent as she could. Her lips mouthing out " 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6." As she took six steps, measuring the distance of each step by putting one foot in front of the other.

" Count to six and dig there. Six is the magic number of where gems and caster sorrow meet. That is the 'rich' zone to where to mine." She nodded, giving kail a raised brow amused look as he offered to escort her.

" thank you, if you wish to accompany me then at least I will have someone to talk with on the way back. "

Kail rubbed the back of his head as he was not expecting the laugh and then nods, as he hears that what he needed to do. He does watch Mysteria walk to a vent then come six steps away from it and spoke where to hit the mark. He would like to make sure that what she said was true. But he did not want to make the lady wait for him to check so he would come back. Plus no one braizen would try and dig or mine here due to the manna that was coming out of the ground. "This will be something I will have to do later. I do thank you for telling me this, so lets get going" he said and made a small x mark in the ground with his pickaxe. So he would come back later and made sure of his surroundings. He then walks over to Mysteria "Lets get you back to Nova" he said and was pretty much ready to go. As he put the pick axe back on his pack and was raring to go, since Kail wanted to at least get out of the Manna Gorge and into some normal woods.

"I needed to get out of Gallows Bane for awhile though" he said enjoying the fresh air at least as well as the sun on his face. As the place was kind of getting boring for him plus he needed some time out to figure things out. Or what he should do now, but he did get the tip off on the gemstones and that was going to be something to do. He hoped that it would be worth it, as Kail needed something big to deal with the Guard and the King as things might go sour sooner or later.

Mysteria watched Kail's expression and body language from the moment she had stopped laughing and became more somber. Her smile fading to where it was barely noticeable on her parted lips. Lavender-teal speckled eyes tracing over his features as he readied himself to leave the area. " The pleasure is mine and yes, let us be on our way." She spoke, nodding her head in agreement before starting the journey ahead back to the Kingdom. The sorcerer knowing that what ever awaited her there, might not be as welcoming and as pleasantries of this encounter.

" You don't have to escort me the entire way, it would be a normal three days walk on foot. So if you want you can escort me to the main road; There I should be fine…. " Mysteria nods, not wanting Kail to feel obligated to accompany her all the way back to Nova. However, a thought crossed her mind as they were walking away from the Manna Gorge towards the forest. Her head turning to look at Kail, keeping her pace as she walked slowly beside the young man.

" You said you didn't know much about magic. Are you wanting to learn?" She asked, her brow raised. " I ask, because I noticed you had a magical presence on you. " Mysteria noted, turning her head and gaze back to what was before her.

Kail walks along and hears Mysteria about not wanting him to take her the full way to Nova. He was slightly conflicted on the matter as he wanted to. As his pride as a man, did not want her to be harmed. But at the same time it might have been a warning to him. Since there could be a unfortunate end to him if he went that far with Mysteria. So he went with his head rather then his heart on this. As if he was caught it could be over for everyone "Alright, I don't like but I will comply on that" he said and as they kept going though. The violet haired woman asked him about magic. If he wanted to learn it and gave a Mysteria a look are you stupid kind of thing. Then she went on a magical presence on him and it had to make him think on that. He debated with himself if it were the magical gems he put into the bracelets. But they would not be that powerful then it hit him on the particular knife that he had. As it seemed to call for him and it never seemed to leave him at all.

"hhhhhhmmmmm then it might be this weapon that magicly appeared at the place I was originally living at" said Kail as he drew the knife and carefully showed it to the woman. "I have been curious on it and I have been trying to find a mage to well analize this knife. It never seems to want to be left behind and comes with me a lot" he said as the silver knife gleamed in the sun above them.

Mysteria smiled at Kail as he spoke to her, making the journey less boring with each passing step. Her eyes trailing over to Kail as she nodded towards him. " Thank you for respecting my wishes, young Master Kail." She smiled, placing her hands in front of her as she lead the way into the forest while keeping Kail at her side. Her brow raised in amusement at the boy's expression about her question on wanting to learn magic. A laugh erupting her silence, stopping in her tracks and turning towards Kail. Her right hand gracefully lifting to wipe away a tear that had formed from her sudden burst of laughter. Something she hadn't done in a very long time, which was refreshing to say the least.

" Well then, I suppose I'll take that look as a ' I'm interested ' sign. Very well, I will extend the information and a possible option for your future. After all, I am looking for an assistant. Even though you have some knowledge, you are still young and easily impressionable to learn from myself. " She paused, placing both her hands at her side as her features began to become more serious. Her eyes focused on Kail as he mentions about picking up a weapon outside where he had previously lived. Mysteria's focus then shifted to the dagger as he withdrew it and presented it to her.

" Well, well. You did find a unique magical weapon after all. Those symbols carved into the blade are ancient script's, enchantments embedded into the metal. It will point you to what you most desire, if fate wills it possibly even where you most desire to strike in a fight." Mysteria noted, reaching her hand out to touch her finger tips at the rune symbols. The moment her finger-tips made contact with the writing, the handle would begin to vibrate in Kail's hand as a faint tiny shadow of a spark leapt from the blade to Mysteria's fingers. Mysteria jumped at the sudden shock, quickly withdrawing her hand and cupping it out of sight. Her eyes wide with shock.
" Oh my, it looks like this blade like's you a lot. " She said, looking at her hand once more before returning back to a casual stance, clasping both her hands in front of her dress. Throwing Kail a small smile to ensure that she was indeed fine and ready to continue walking towards the main forest road.

Kail looked a tad embareist as Mysteria gave him a title and had to laugh a bit on it. As it was rather odd sounding to him and rubbed the back of his head. Then she started to burst out in laughter which was something he had not seen from her. Since he only saw the woman as a wise individual and seemed not the type to laugh. But this made him feel a bit foolish "Yes its something I want to learn a lot more, but with the fox hunt on us Fated. It does not look like I could be your assistant anytime soon. Unless its a area outside of Nova, like in Gallow's bane"he said and then Mysteria took intrest at his knife and it amazed him on it. As he did not expect this thing to be that powerful at all. He just thought it was just one of those trinkets that would grant him luck. Kail then sees the weapon almost bite in a sense at Mysteria. As the thing liked him that much and he felt baffled and confused him on to that extent. The blond puts the blade away and was going to check on Mysteria but waved him off.

"Perhaps its the reason that we crossed paths like this. I always try and work for my goals and even though they may not be the exact thing. It just feels though I don't have control of my fate or destiny. Even though it seems that have almost ultimate control. This all just feels weird since I did come from a world where supernatural things do not exsist. Even though this world this is a truth where magic is real and dragons soar in the cerulean skies above" Kail said and just walked along with Mysteria as she recovered quickly and were back on there way to that road.

Mysteria's attention trailed to look over at Killian as he spoke. Each step a steady pace as they walked further into the Forever Forest and away from the Manna Gorge and the hidden entrance to Gallow's Bane. Her hands now moving to clasp behind her back, as her focus turned towards the canopy of tree branches above them. A very small somber smile parting her lips. " I have a home in Gallow's Bane that you can come visit, for I feel that when I return to the castle, my presence won't be so welcomed. Plus, if my memory serves me correctly, my servants had brought me a statement with your signature on it. You recently purchased a shop no? " She asked, her head straightening and turning to look at him with a titled expression of curiosity.

" As for the 'fox hunt' on your people, laws and 'impressions' can be manipulated and change in due time. It just takes patiences. " She nodded, her head turning and her eyes focusing forward as she paused for a moment before continuing. " I know most of the Fated that come here view the King as a 'monster', however, the real monster's follow close behind. The king just needs a 'push' to see the truth to settle this barbaric 'hunt'. "

Mysteria sighed, her pace continuing at a slow rate. Her eyes closed as she listened to Kail as he spoke about Fate and Destiny. That magic and the supernatural was something that didn't exist where he was from. Mysteria stopped in mid step, her eyes opening as she quickly jerked her head to look at him in surprise fashion. She stared at him, a small chuckle escaping her lips.

" If there is something I have learned in the years I have walked this earth. Is that there is no such thing as a world that the 'supernatural' does not exist. Just because you haven't experienced it, felt it with your own hands or better yet see it with your own eyes; does not mean it's not there. Magic is in every world and universe, it just has different names…. After all, your knowledge of the subject already suggests that you have been exposed to it before entering Teair." She said in a somber tone, giving him a warm smile.

" Also if your world didn't have 'supernatural' properties, Fate wouldn't have been able to brought you here. " She sighed, shrugging her shoulders before continuing to walk slowly forward.

"Yeah, its more of a workshop that seems to have been prebuilt for me even before I got to Gallow's Bane. That knife let me to that place and I snapped it up.....that put me in the hole for awhile. But it seemed that it had a forge, a magic lab, and some Alchemy related stuff. Like it was made for me, a tad creepy but I am thankful of it" said Kail as he rubbed the back of his head while keeping pace with Mysteria. He did not realize that Mysteria did have a home in Gallow's Bane. So he would need to check for that place after a few days at least. Saying that the real monster was not too far behind from the King and knew that she meant as Severine was the main one behind most of this. But then on the super natural stuff he was having a hard time trying to answer her on the matter as to why in his mind there wasn't anything magical but at the same time he knew of it.

"Its hard to explain really without seeing my world.....maybe the technology from the time I came from is considered magic. Or that its there but its so well hidden that it does not exsist. Most of the stories and plays I guess use stage props and effects that make things look so real that it is magic. Some of these writers that make these stories are vivid in there writings that you know a bit on magic and the super natural. I think perhaps the reason I was brought here was for some kind of change. For either to bring out my inner self or strengthen what is already there" he had guessed but overall he was ok with this world.

"If you want something made, I can make it with a bit of time. From just experimenting with some of the things there. I mean the long sword I have here is something I made. I do have pride in that but other times some still see me as a immature person to the point that some think of me as a child. It angers me at times, I know that I should not complain as things could be worse" he said and did not want to complain as others were worse off then he.

Mysteria smirked as Kail talked about how the Dagger had shown him the way to an abandoned workshop within Bane. Her smirk growing into a smile as he continued to describe his discovery. Ah, so 'he' had showed Kail where the rebuilt Kray Sage's lab was located at. A beneficial thing for a growing 'artisan' to begin his work and studies. So she kept her smile, slowing her pace so Kail didn't have to exert himself to keep up. " That is wonderful to hear." Mysteria nodded, while taking the opportunity to glance around at their surroundings.

She stayed silent for the most part; Listening to Kail as he seem to struggle to explain his knowledge of the supernatural and how 'his' world viewed magic. It was interesting to hear the differences in another worlds point of views and the possibility of how much a deity could possibly effect of each plain and flow of 'manna' within it's very core beliefs. It made her excited and yet worried at her own god's possible belief. This was something she would have to ponder more about at another time. The forest now becoming more dense as they traveled further in. The path now a rocky dirt single road that lead through the undergrowth.

" So magic in your world is called 'Technology' an are simple 'mind tricks'?" Mysteria paused, reaching up to tap her lip before continuing. "I believe I heard that before somewhere, perhaps another fated such as yourself. It's been awhile and we must discuss this more at another time. I would like to hear more about your world. " Mysteria chuckled, hiding the fact of how really curious she was on Kail's 'home' world. Her gaze trailing back over to him as he talked more about what he had crafted here within Nova. A amused look spread across her lips as she smiled at his offer. " Thank you, I might take you up on that offer at some point. An don't cut yourself short…. I specialize in reading people at the castle, the head of the military and medical affairs of the kingdom. Yes there is a Royal and Civlian Guard Captian, but they answer to me…. " Melania paused her voice suddenly more serious. " An from what I can tell, you have great potential to change the 'fate' of this world. You who were among the chosen Fated brought here by the God of Destiny, that is the beauty of coming here. You don't know the rules of this world the gods have placed among the natives…. A outsider capable of doing so much more. " Mysteria spoke softly, her eyes scanning the forest to catch the sight of lights off in the distance. A familiar light of the main road within the forest. A post light that would be lit every evening before sunset to help guild travelers at night through the forest.

" If you are still interested in going into the city, there are still safe places for fated to be that civilians have set up. You can find them in the second district homes, just speak 'friend' and you may enter. " Mysteria smiled.

"As I said, its complicated to describe and if I could show what I mean from my world. It might make things easier. But yeah agreed that kind of talk is better suited for another time" said Kail as they were slowly approaching a road and figured that it was the way back to Nova. Mysteria was slowing he pace again as it seemed she wanted to talk a bit more. The woman did say that she might take up his offer on to make something and would look out for when Mysteria did place that order. Then going about her duties while in the kingdom and it seemed a lot. It did put a few hairs on the back of his neck went up a bit. As it did worry him that some of there actions were causing problems for others. But then Mysteria then went into about him and others that came here that they could change the fate of the world. But yet was it there business to do so or not. A quote from a game he played rung in his mind. A great power that can be used for salvation or destruction at the whim of the user, but what could he do with this potential overall.

He then hears that there were safe havens within the second district. Which did make him feel a bit better, but still there heads were on the chopping block. "That is true that we are outsiders and we maybe able to try and change things. I do hope that I can do something like that, and make things better overall for people" he said and continued to speak. "And I do appreciate the tip on the safe havens for us. I will tell a few others that I do know" Kail said again and saw that they were really approaching the main road as it seemed getting brighter and brighter.
