APPEARANCE:

Wei Xun is a slender and relatively tall young woman, standing at 5'8". Her body is honed and fit, a sign of her lifetime devoted to physical training. Her hair is bright crimson and long, falling down to her waist with two braids tied to the sides of her neck. Her skin is pale, and her eyes are gray-blue in color.

Her casual clothing typically consists of a matching green set made up of a cap, vest, and Chinese dress, all worn over a white shirt and loose white pants. However, when she is aware that she is going into a fight, she will don her ceremonial robes (seen above), which is made up of a long, black robe embroidered with golden dragons and a matching black cap.

PERSONALITY: Wei Xun is a girl with conflicted motivations and morals. She was born and raised into a family of famous martial artists, and has had the art and meaning of combat practically ingrained into her subconscious. However, she was also taught to value life, and to be kind to others. She wants to bring pride to herself and her family, but is not sure if she can accept the actions that doing such might require...

BIOGRAPHY: Even in a land as divided as The East, the legend of the Crimson Dragon of Hyorai, the first of the Wei, is known by all. A warlord and warrior without equal, known only by the bright crimson tone of his hair, said to be stained with the blood of a thousand battles. It was on his shoulders that the mighty Wei family rose to greatness, a legendary empire that still stands...

"...as a molten husk of its former glory!" Lightning flashed across Wei Ming's stern figure as he finished his words, emboldening him as the omnipotent being that Xun had always been raised to see. He stood with his back to his crouched daughter, tall and stern with his hands folded behind his black. The two were alone within the grand meeting hall of the Wei family, both garbed in black. It was almost hard for Xun to see her father's tall figure, as the only light that shone through the hall's high windows was from the grayed clouds and forked lightning of the storm outside.

"Today... we mourn your mother's passing," continued Ming after a long moment of silence. "She was as beautiful as a rose... but perhaps her death was for the best. For much like a rose, she was also delicate, and I am not sure her frail heart would have been able to accept what I am about to tell you."

Another bolt flashed outside as Ming finally turned to look at his daughter, her eyes sharp. "Tomorrow, you will be submitted to Wanmei Shenti, and afterwards, you shall be coronated as the true heir of the Wei family."

Wanmei Shenti ~ Perfect Body: None truly know the reason behind the Wei family's legendary combat prowess. Theories raising to the class of fairy tales of been proposed, but the truth has never been revealed; for if it was, it would likely make the Wei true enemies of the world. At a very young age, children of the Wei are subjected to twisted rituals and mutations. Most die in agony, but those that survive are turned into the perfect killing machines. Bodies sculpted to always be at the peak of physical prowess; senses, reflexes, and combat instincts raised to inhuman levels; and, perhaps most importantly, an extraordinary resistance to Manna Corruption. However, while their resistance is great, it is not the same as immunity. An excessive amount of Manna or exposure to Manna for an extensive amount of time can still cause heavy and perhaps even permanent damage.

Xue Nushen ~ Blood of the Goddess: While members of the Wei family have been known to exhibit supernatural abilities, they do not practice magic in the traditional sense of the rest of the world. Instead of using their Manna to manipulate the world around them, they instead seek to master themselves, and use their Manna as an attribute to this. One of the most basic forms of this is the ability to infuse their muscles with raw Manna, raising their physical capabilities to superhuman levels. With this, they can smash through solid concrete with ease, or move at speeds impossible to follow by the average human eye. The levels that this ability can be raised to are theoretically infinite; however, it is limited by the body of the user itself. Excessive use can have a number of negative effects, from rapidly draining stamina to causing the muscle to rupture and even degrade. This ability can not be taught to or used by someone that hasn't gone through the processes of Wanmei Shenti or has a similar level of resistance to Manna Corruption, as the exposure would likely kill them almost instantly. 

COMBAT: 

Martial Arts: Wei Xun was born and raised to be a master of martial arts. While young, she has spent her entire life devoted to it, and has mastered many forms of hand-to-hand combat, and is even capable of many of the Wei's legendary "killing arts." While her female figure appears slim and light, her body is at the peak physical condition as a result of Wanmei Shenti and constant vigorous training, making her much stronger than what most humans can hope to accomplish, man or no.
