Build: Stocky, strong. She has visible musculature and is tall for a woman, at about 5’11”.
Claire has no shame about her appearance. She finds herself to be very attractive when it matters and is very proud of the way she looks. However, she would frankly look ridiculous in the clothing for the Novian upper class. She knows how to function in what she considers to be practical clothing- trousers and vests and the like- but in any dress like clothing she loses a sense of how to move and it makes her incredibly uncomfortable.
There is ritualistic scarring on her back. She is unashamed of it, but for warmth it remains hidden.
PERSONALITY: Being from a foreign land, Claire has a weak grip on the Novian language at best. She’s very direct in her language and completely unfamiliar to the culture of this strange land, leading her to often ask very direct and rude questions. She is very open and proud over her upbringing as a warrior, especially a warrior woman, and will not shy away from that fact or disguise herself as a man to make herself less noticeable. She has a deep sense of obligation and honor, and will find a way to repay every debt she finds herself in full. She’s quick to laugh, boisterous, and full of love for life that she intends to live to the fullest.

LIKES: The heat. Red meat. A good drink. A fair fight. An unfair fight. Dancing, or at least her kind of dancing.
DISLIKES: Oathbreakers. This is the biggest one. She takes her vows to loyalty very seriously and casual betrayal will not be tolerated. She also hates the cold, which is a problem in Nova. She also doesn’t like things with a lot of holes in them, they freak her out.
BIOGRAPHY: Claire was born in a city across the sea, in a much, much warmer place. Her city was at the edge of the sea in a near desert environment, a matriarchy with a heritage of warriors and a thriving trading community far from any Novian influence. She was born into a long conflict of territory wars with the neighboring cities that had raged for years over her city and it's trade, but grew up happy and well to become a strong warrior. However, one night she received a vision from one of her gods- Go to Nova. Search for the Fated.
Unable to deny a mission from the gods, she left her home, family, and life behind to come to the capitol.

COMBAT: Very skilled with a short sword. She is quick to move and hits hard, and has excellent aim with a throwing dagger. She can punch a guy out no problem, just don’t ask her to shoot someone with an arrow.
