APPEARANCE: Belenus is tall, thin, pale man with short wavy black hair and dark brown eyes. He wears glasses and is frequently seen in the white robes of his Order and is infrequently seen without gloves. He covers himself from neck to toe, as he doesn’t like interacting with unclean things.
PERSONALITY: Belenus is a male personification of an Ice Queen. To most he is cold and abrasive, only caring for his work and his books and nothing else. But through force of will of digging through that outer surface, Bel is capable of great kindness, compassion, and loyalty to those he cares for. At default he prefers quietness and solitude.
BIOGRAPHY: Belenus is dead.
But first, let’s take a step back.
Belenus Giannino was born in Feyerlun along with his twin sister and grew up in a very unassuming life. A sickly child, Belenus grew up without much contact with others or without many friends due to his poor health and as he grew older, that concern for his health developed more into a personal stinginess. Suited better to both books and priestly duties, Belenus was enrolled as one of Saden’s followers at a very young age and spent his life through then in devotion to his patron god and caring for the great public library.
Then, by pure chance, he met Aria and by extension, the seedy underbelly of the city that he had taken great pains to avoid. Through her he made new friends, enemies, and managed to fall in love with a woman completely out of his league. He also discovered the truth of his ancestry- he was Noru descended.
And then he died, in complete vain to stop something that could not be stopped.
Abilities: None to speak of that he is aware of, but he does possess a deep knowledge of history and literature. What he is unaware of is another story- being part of a cursed bloodline does have it’s drawbacks.
COMBAT: None. He’s not exactly a pacifist but he’s not a fighter either. His weapons are an unkind word and if it comes to it, a sharp blow to the head via the spine of a book he is willing to lose.
