Tres knocked lightly on the door of the solid brick house. She remembered seeing @lilith walking past her home one day, and figured she would say hello one of these days. What better time to reunite than during the mid-winter festival? Seeing as Tres was new to the neighborhood, she carried a freshly baked pie in her hand which she made from scratch with the help of some old recipes she borrowed from one her other elderly neighbors. The pie had an overlapping pattern on the surface of the crust, simple, yet bold enough to show bits and pieces of the seasonal red berries she had laying around her house. The pie was steaming from the change of temperature from inside to out.
Tres stood outside in her knee-high boots, with a thick white wool cloak wrapped around her shoulders. She wore a white dress with silver lining around the edges. She had silver tinged tight gloves that showed off her slender fingers, to ensure she didn't either freeze her hands from the cold, nor burn her hands from the bottom of the pie.
Tres knocked again on the door, a little harder this time, hoping that someone would answer the door.

Lilith heard a knock at the door and moved to climb down the ladder leading to her loft bedroom. Things had been really quiet since sima moved out, and this whole festival had made her rather sad. She had wanted to share this week with him, but things never went as planned it seemed. Lilith wore a simple white dress, floor length, and her hair wrapped around her as it was loose. She opened the door to see Tres waiting, and a surprised smile popped on her small face.
Tresor!! I haven't seen you in months! She grabbed the womans free hand and pulled her inside, shutting the door behind her. How are you? Where have you been? What are you doing here? Lilith moved to the couch, in front of the fire and motioned her to follow.

Tres felt her free hand seized by the grasp of Lilith's tiny Elvin hands, and followed her inside as quickly as she could follow, all while trying to ensure that the pie didn't drop. It was a bit difficult balancing the pie with one hand, but she managed. She noticed how luminescent Lilith looked in her beautiful dress. Her aura about her seemed very taken aback however, and not just by Tres' surprise visit.
Tres couldn't help but smile and laugh a little at Lilith who bombarded her with questions. Although, she didn't blame her for the outburst... She did disappear for a while, and she hadn't seen Lilith since the accident. Alright then... Tres thought to herself. I suppose I do owe her a few answers and she set down the pie on the nearest surface she could find inside the house. Breathlessly, she finally replied to Lilith I have been well, settling down after a few very long months. I have been... to say the least, all over Teair. then looking back at the pie she smiled. She stood up to retrieve it, and brought it over to Lilith. She sat down and put the warm tray on her lap To answer your question... well, this is kind of the reason I am here!" she smiled "Uhm, sort of really. I heard that you lived in the area, so I thought I would come see you- after all this time really... I guess what I am trying to say is, Happy mid-winter festival!" Tres laughed foolishly after spitting out what she could only presume were words. "Well, there is so much i could tell you, but that will be in due time. How are you? What have you been doing since I last saw you? Are you still working in the library? Oh I really hope so, it would be nice to have a connection to someone who knows how to get their hands on ancient medicinal texts. Either way, do update me on the happenings of your life!" a full breath spilled from Tres' lips. It had been a nice day to see a friendly face.

Lilith was glad she was doing well. The last time she'd seen her, Lilith was dead on her feet. When Tresor plopped the pie in her lap, a smile spread on her face once again. Lilith was a horrible cook, so this would be the first real, edible bit of homemade food she had seen in a couple of weeks now. It smells wonderful, thank you so much! She hadn't known that people knew where she lived, so that came as even more of a surprise.
Oh... I'm so sorry, I dont have anything for you... Things have been so hectic, and I haven't seen you in months... She felt horrible.
I am still working there, though barely part time. My job at the palace keeps me pretty busy. I haven't done much really. Just practicing magic, working and sleeping. She hadn't realized how uneventful her life seemed. Her job was pretty great, but she was forbidden to talk of it.
Have you seen Aria lately?

Tres didn't mind the lack of gifts, she expected it really. "Oh, don't be sorry. I'm the one who just showed up out of no where with pie." Tres laughed a little. "Your company is gift enough." Tres nodded in acknowledging her new busy lifestyle. She was quite excited for the opportunities Lilith had. "You're working in the palace now? That's exciting. You must be surrounded by the highest of royalty, and luxury... must be nice!" she joked. "What are you doing in the castle?" Lilith had always been an important person in her new life. It was only sometime before someone else noticed just how important Lilith was.
Tres had hoped that she hadn't left any stains from the last time she was there. She had a moment of mental lapse, where she flashed back to what she remembered of her first moments on the earth of Teair. She remembered bleeding out over a table, seeing red from both her blood and from Aria's hair, and recalled this pungent feeling of energy pulsing into her back. Her wings cringed in pain from the thought. She shook a little, and came back to the moment "So how is the library doing? Steady pace? Does it look any better from the last time I was there?" she joked, but felt complete remorse while cracking that joke.
Running her hands down her skirt, in an attempt to smooth it out, Tres listened to Lilith. Then grew surprised by her question. "Aria? Well, yes actually. I saw her this morning. We shared brunch together today, to celebrate new life after everything that happened." Tres smiled, she really had been seeing a lot of Aria lately, which of course she didn't mind. She really enjoyed having the company, it was definitely a change from before.

A smile spread on LIlith's face. She'd forgotten how pleasant the fallen angel was. I wouldn't sau 'surrounded' exactly. I work behind a desk for one of the advisers. Nothing flashy. She shook her head. SHe'd run into the king once or twice, but he never noticed her. On top of that, the princess went home, the Duchess wasn't someone she felt okay approaching, and Aria would always be Aria to her. When asked what her job was, she blinked. Like I said, I work behind a desk. Paper work, occasional healing. SHe smiled again, feeling bad that she couldn't tell the truth. The key in her pocket felt warmer just thinking about it. But she had sworn and oath, and she was bound to keep it.
The library? Oh... well to be honest, I haven't been there in quite some time... I haven't had a spare moment. But I'm sure they're doing fine. She smiled again. She hadn't realized how long it had been, and she really did miss the place.
When the conversation turned to Aria, a new smiled formed. Oh that's great! I haven't seen her too much lately, she's too busy now, what with being a Duchess and all. She shook her head again, and the stood up, taking the pie with her. She moved towards the kitchen. Would you share some with me? She took out plates, setting them onto the table.

Tres was overall happy to hear that Lilith was doing well and keeping busy. She know how tiresome life could get, especially with all that had been happening recently. "Sounds like you have been keeping very busy at the palace." she smiled. "But are you enjoying it? You must be if you are still working there!"
Tres almost lit up in front of the elf when she mentioned that she was still healing. In fact, she's glad that she continued it even though she had been put through so much. She could only imagine the toll she took on Lilith after healing her back to full health. Everything was fuzzy to Tres though, she can barely remember ending up in Nova.
Tres nodded at the elf, "Yes, it's hard to catch a glance of Aira lately, but she still makes time for those who are important to her, which is all that matters." she tilted her head in thought "But we have to understand how her life has changed. She's now a royal, can you believe that? It's amazing how things like these happen." she smiled reassuringly
Tres smiled and nodded in acknowledging her offer of pie. Laughing at herself she replied, "Absolutely, I would love to see how this actually worked out. This was one of my first times making pie. One of my neighbors showed me how to bake it from scratch." she lived around quite a few old people. Surprising that they've lived so long, but Tres appreciates the company.
"So," she said continuing the conversation I know that you lived with someone for some time, just overheard it in a conversation from the last time I saw you... tell me about that. she couldn't help but be a little bit nosy.
