Kail had seen Aria get angry into a rage mode that looked like a angry god or something along those lines. He was not afraid now as now his full survival mode had triggered in his mind. And over written the fear he had and was about to unleash the ability he had learned at the zombie attack. But it seemed that destiny had other ideas instore for him as Lilith had told her to back off along with a bear of a man telling her to leave. Thankfully she had agreed but let lose a verbal sting before leaving the room. Then Lilith had started on him telling him how great she was and was doing more for the fated and such. Calling him arrogant, and no shining knight, along with some meaning that he was a lost one. Kail was not going to argue with Lilith as it would be slightly pointless. He did agree with those points about his arrogance and such, he was human and had these emotions. Then what was the point of him exsisting here in this world! Then what was his purpose within Nova! If not for the fated then who! Or what should he do while in this world. He could not turn a blind eye to what was going on, and if he did. Then he was a coward and a fool to be laughed at! But these thoughts were for another time as there had been a job to do now. Seeing that his shoulder was bandaged up he put on his shirt for now and took his ruined jacket. Maybe he could find a mage that could repair this as this was one of the few momentos from his world. Seeing that he was still a bit woozy he withdrew his Gaia Rod.
He extended the rod so he could walk back to the table and walked carefully to the table. The blond was still in pain from the wound but it was a dull pain. For the most part Kail was not a happy camper at all. He sat down and asked a bar maid for one of the more sweeter beverages and other sweeter things. As he was going to consume this to make his body make more blood since he lost a bit from the stab wound.
"We will be leaving tomorrow and its going to take a few days but also just in case prepare a weeks worth of supplies. Just to be on the safe side, we will have transportation out there so it should not take too long. And lass don't worry on paying for the supplies I'll pay for them. But if ye insist on it, I will split the costs with you. Ye going to be ok lad" he said to the blond and Kail gave a nod to Arthur. None the less though the old dwarf had a smile on his face though "I thank all of ye in advance for helping me on this" he said trying to brighten the mood as it seemed that things had went rather dark between all of them.

Lilith had calmed down quite a lot by the time Kail emerged from the back room. She already felt bad for yelling at the blonde, and it was beginning to show on her face. In addition to this, she'd yelled at her best friend. What was wrong with her? It simply wasn't like her to get so angry over something... Thank you Sir. Your information will help greatly, as I'm sure you will as well. Lilith turned a slightly distracted, but still sweet, smile onto the man this quest revolved around. He'd gotten dragged into a heap of drama that didn't involve him in the slightest, poor guy.
When given the chance, Lilith intended to speak with Kail alone again, before the group dispersed. If he got up to leave, she would follow, and attempt to catch him just before the door. Look. I didn't mean a lot of what I said. I know you two have your differences, and you may not see what I do in her, like wise she with you. You're two very different people. I can't ask you to get along, but for the sake of this quest, please don't try to kill each other. You're a brave man Killian. Very smart, and you have more than made your own way since being transported here. I can't say I would have been successful doing the same. That's something to be proud of. So... please, forgive me. I don't lash out like that, you know that... Lilith stopped to take a breath, not used to talking so much... well, ever.
You're my friend. I just hope I didn't change that. She let out a huff. If Aria and the others passed them to leave, she would make eye contact with the red head, silently asking her to wait for her to return with them. She had a few words to say to her, as well.

Aria looked up at Nyx when she asked if everything was ok; however Tres beat her to signaling now wasn’t the time to be asking about that. However she did note that Lilith seemed to miss Nyx’s question on who she was. ”The blonde elf is named Lilith, she’s a healer employed in the palace. She’s an accomplished healer so if something does go wrong we’ll be left in capable hands.”Aria nodded when Nyx asked if it was possible to bring a tarp or something. ”Yes; I would suggest people bring bed rolls as well.”Aria looked over at Tres when she mentioned calix’s name in almost a questioning manner. She forgot not everyone knew the bear of the man was the inn keeper here. ”Calix Hearthrow is the owner of the tavern here; He was the one you just saw help Lilith kick me out of the room. Calix keeps extra supplies for the fated who come through, funded by donations.”Aria listened as Author finished; if they weren’t leaving until tomorrow that gave them all time to get supplies. Which meant she could also let Garrett know where the hell she was going. She waved Author off in his attempts to try to pay the way for the supplies. ”I will foot the bill due to the fact I want the supplies to be purchased from Calix. He charges a bit more but I know he will give us stuff of quality and nothing will be tampered with.”Yes a bit on the paranoid side but she needed to be. At the end of the conversation she stood; she supposed she was fortunate she had time to cool off. Aria watched as Lilith got up and chased Kail out, she finished off her drink and stood up as well, nodding a farewell to Author. Aria caught Liliths gaze as she was walking towards the door, frankly she knew the girl probably wanted to talk but Aria the moment was in no mood to. She wasn’t mad at the elf, she had just been put into a very disagreeable mood. Aria continued her way pass them, she thought about kicking Kails new cane out but she heard Lilith trying to patch a situation….out of respect for Lilith she controlled that impulse. ”We’ll chat later Lilith”But one could only be so mature, she continued to walk out the door while flipping Kail the bird without ever looking back. As soon as she was outside a swirl of flames whirled around her and she was gone. Aria had ported back to the training grounds with her drakes. Thinking back that last bit with Kail wasn’t her proudest most mature moment…hopefully she would be cooled off enough in the morning to rejoin them.
Day Skip to the next morning The next morning Aria would indeed be back at the Tavern bright and early. Going over the list of supplies with Calix. She would make sure each one of their group would have enough, but at the same time not be overloaded.

Nyx had gotten a bedroll, tent, a flask of water and flint and steel and a change of clothes more fitting for Nova winter with the remainder of her money. It wasn't much but she wanted to make sure that she had the basic needs for supplies. Walking down the stairs having decided to stay overnight at the tavern handing her key to the man at the counter.
Double checking her bag inside was her cards, bedroll and extra clothes. To the top of the bag was the tent rolled up neatly for easy carry, in the side pocket to the right was the flint and steel and in the side left flask of water. She wore the same clothes as before with her locket and bracelet knowing that her family was praying for her safety.
Seeing Aria talking to a man and not wanting to be rude she took a seat a littles away from them. Her staff in her left hand while she waited for either the others to show up or Aria to finish getting the supplies so that they could divide it up.
Folding her hands around her staff saying a small prayer to the Gods and Goddesses of this world to guide their journey and have them all return alive. She said one more personal prayer to Zepon of this world and hers to guide her, provide her with strength and to bless with for the adventure that awaits her and her allies.
Once she was done she watched the door waiting, as she adjusted her bag on her back ready to go as soon as possible.

Tres had laid out all of her supplies and loaded up on rations- the one thing she happened to forget yesterday. These rations would last up to a week and a half for her alone. She kept a few of these rations in her utility belt, along with her supply pack. Tres also stocked up on healing supplies for Lilith, she wasn't sure what access Lilith had to medicinal supplies, so she supplied enough to last at least two weeks. This included a few small towels, medicine to reduce pain, burn cream, and gauze... lots of gauze, along with a few other things. Finally she packed a few extra things, a change of clothes, a bottle of water, and a flask of alcohol (as both a sedative and to cleanse wounds). She kept all this in a bag that hung over her shoulders, being supported by her back. She triple bound the bag so that it wasn't easily penetrated if scratched by a sword.
Tres also laid out her weapons as she did initially. She decided to wear her tight-fitting cargo pants, again with her utility-like belt. In the utility belt she carried a few extra rations, along with a three hidden daggers just in case. She also wore her black shirt, along with a quarter-sleeved jacket that cut off at the waist- also tight fitting-to hide four more daggers and in her knee-high boots she hid a small sword. She put amour over her clothes as an extra precaution. Besides all these things, she sported her usual gloves, and brought along her cross-looking staff that doubled as a sword at her wielding. She slung this around her shoulder over her large supply pack.
Tres decided to leave her home at the break of dawn so that she could meet her quest-team in a timely manner. She saw Nyx walking into the tavern just ahead of her, and thought that her timing was almost accurate. She walked in a few moments after Nyx, and noticed that Aria was there as well. "Morning all." she said.

Kail had gotten the tail end of what was said for the quest from Arthur. But knew that they would be leaving sometime tomorrow and would give him at least sometime to get some supplies up and going. That and get some of his things repaired and knew that these were going to be hasty ones but they will have to do. Once the food items came out for the blond though, he ate like a mad man. But saddly though if he was going to get things done for this adventure the blond would have to power through the tiredness he felt. So after a bit though Kail starts to get up from his chair and leave but it seemed that Lilith wanted to appologise for her actions. Kail just went silent for a bit to let her speak before he did "Look Lilith, all I wanted with this quest was to make some money for my projects and maybe get some nice treasure and put it up on my walls. I mean maybe I had the stabbing coming. But again why rub salt in the wound? I was fine with moving on but since Aria wanted to continue and corner me. I had to defend myself, but at any rate. I will not kill her kick her ass maybe. But right now I have to go and get supplies and get some of my things mended before I pass out. I can't blame you for anything you said, you were placed in the middle and you got angry. Thats a normal reaction.....anyway I will see you later" said the blond and waved Lilith good bye as he stepped out of the inn.
Time Skip
Once everyone was gathered the next day they would be traveling on horseback to cave that once led to the dwarven city. The travel its self was not too troubling. As no wild beasts had ambushed them on the way to the place. Once they got there there was a small fortification there that had several templar, paladins, clerics, and some mages to keep guard and make sure no nasty creatures got out. As the group go there Arthur gave everyone some time to get prepared and restock there supplies if need be. Kail himself was getting himself changed into some armor that he brought with him. He was wearing a chain mail torso armor and the rest of his armor was his blackskull drake armor he had crafted. On his left arm was his winged shield with his blade Sting. And on his left side in a sheath was a long sword. And on two thigh holsters were his pair of survival knives that he had sharpped and ready to go along with his blade. In his right hand was the rod he had from that night at the tavern. It seemed that the blond was ready for bare.
So for the moment he was ready to hit the road with Arthur. The old dwarf himself was saying several prayers asking Mylee for protection and for a safe journey in dwarven. As he was kneeling on one knee and his clasped in prayer. After awhile he ended and stood up grasping his war hammer. "So ye youngens ready to keep up with me or am I going to leave ye in the dust" Arthur said with a hearty laugh wanting to at least get every one fired up. Since before they left things had went a bit sour between two people that took part in his job request. Arthur himself was ready for bare himself as he was fully stocked with herbs, and other healing items, along with his tried and true war hammer.

Lilith looked up as Aria spoke her name, mentioning her as a great healer. Don’t exaggerate. But yes, sorry. My name is Lilith. it’s a pleasure to meet you. She smiled in apology not meaning to ignore the new person. She kept in mind all the things that people were saying, from “be prepared” to the time they would be departing. She made a mental note and moved on.
When Kail responded to her, she took his words carefully, knowing full well he needed to calm down. When Aria gave her the same vibe, she became solemn, wishing she’d just stayed out of it. After Kail left, she exited the Tavern herself, following behind Aria some distance away.
Lilith packed all of her things carefully, stalling until she absolutely had to leave. After the drama of yesterday, she was hesitant in even going at all, but knew it would be rude to back out last minute, especially after her demand yesterday.
When she arrived she came in a bit after everyone else, staying a bit behind the group, but listening to Arthur all the same. Hearing him laugh made her smile slightly— he seemed like a kind hearted old fellow, quite nice. When asked if they were ready, she nodded her head in response, not wanting to draw attention to herself. She’d barely slept, and it showed behind her eyes.

Aria looked up from the paper work with the list of supplies that she was going over with Calix; she had noticed the others were beginning to arrive. She nodded to Nyx before going back to finish going over the checklist and make sure everything was there. Calix of course would have done a good job, but one always should check their supplies themselves. Aria was dressed exactly how she had been the previous night; with all the same supplies. She had originally thought they would have been leaving that night; but fortunately they weren’t because the rest of the group seemed to be lacking supplies for a long trip. Aria was going through each bag when Tres walked in with a good morning.
”Good Morning; just finishing the checklist here. Everyone gets their own pack inside are food rations; water flasks; …CALIX why does mine have brandy in it?!”
Aria had just been finishing up with her extra pack when she noticed a second flask that smelled strongly of Brandy. The owner just gave her a knowing grin and walked off, Aria rolled her eyes. Calix knew she was going on this mission with a person she less then liked; apparently the alcohol was to distract her….why didn’t he just put lunar flowers in…..nope wait he did. Aria face palmed.
”Ok well then…. Moving on, you should all also have a sewing pack, a change of clothes wrapped in wax paper, a cloak, bed roll, fire kindling, flint rock, and a whistle in case we become separated.”
Yep Aria had lived the majority of her life on the streets without being able to control a lick of her own magic. She knew what they needed to have if they ran in a situation where their magic couldn’t used.
”I added a few things to my pack as well such as my vial of instant sobriety …didn’t think I would need it on myself but it’s a possibility….I also have an all flower potion it can act as a light source in case we run into a situation where we will not be able to use our manna. I’m assuming since we’re going into heavens pass we’re more than likely running into Casters Shards….using magic around these things well you just don’t want to unless you know what you’re doing. We’re also running a greater risk of manna corruption.”
Aria had prepared for a trip where she’d be fully capable even without the use of magic. She hoped it wouldn’t come to that; but she was going to be prepared for it if it did. In addition to the things she listed she also brought a packet of a variety plant seeds with her.
They did not linger long after that; they all got mounts and Aria packed the horses and made sure all the belongings were on tight. She made sure everything was in order in meticulous detail. When they mounted up Aria kept her mount to the back; as to watch there rear. Aria was unusually quiet during the trip, sitting backwards on her mount with her legs propped up on the horses back end; leaning back against the horses neck. Not in the least a proper mount position. On their way Aria had pulled out a small flute that fit in the size of her palm. It was made out of opal stone; it was a rare magical instrument that attuned itself to the player’s natural voice. Aria, before the attempt to burn her alive when she was younger, had a heavenly voice; that unfortunately was silenced after the incident. The flute opened her world to this type of music again; and it was during their journey up that she did play. She was so thankful for Mine giving her such a lovely gift. Along with playing the flute for her own amusement; she also used the calming tune to relax the horses…nothing magical about it besides the natural magic music tended to have. After all traveling in the forever forest was bound to make any prey creature jumpy.
When they neared their destination Aria put away the flute which had been occupying her so very well. She hopped down from her mount and took note of their surroundings. Aria noted Kail was preparing for the more dangerous half of their mission by donning armor that would have definitely been cumbersome during their journey. Not for the first time Aria admired the skill that it must have taken to craft such pieces…but Aria had taken to staying at a distance from the blonde man during the trip. In fact since last night Arias mood had changed to a slightly anti-social. Even during the trip up there she trailed a bit behind the group not really participating in any conversation unless a question had been directed at her. She would observe and watch their backs; as she wasn’t the type to slack on her duties for a personal miff; but for the sake of the mission she figured she would rub the blonde the wrong way less if she simply did not overly involve herself.
Aria turned her attention to the dwarf; she recognized a prayer when she saw one; her eyes softening with a look of knowing when she picked up Mylee’s name. Aria gave the old man a soft warm smile when he finished.
”May the gods bless us all; with a prayer such as that I am assuming you no longer think its such horse piss”

The trip on horseback was uneventful which was perfect but it also made Nyx worry cause as the old saying goes it always calm before the storm. Still she enjoyed the peacefulness of the trip getting to see more of the beauty of this place that she might one day have to call her forever home now that everything has finally sunk in. The music that Aria played calm some of her worries about the trip but it also put her on the edge.
Once they were at the at the true start of they quest she watch everyone dismount and those with armour donning it on. With only her staff and remembering what Aria said about mana corruption, she decided to not transform since it only gave her armor. She watches Arthur say a pray to Mylee it was humbling to see him praying to a God he didn't believe in before the demons attack his former home.
Taking her pack off of the horse giving him a pet on the nose wishing that she had some sugar cubes to feed him. Thanking him for getting them safely to the site and also thanking him in advance for getting them home once it was all over. After adjusting her pack on her back, tightening the strings on the hood of her cloak, before sending a silent pray to Zepon of her world to keep her safe while on this trip along with her traveling companions. Lastly, she promises him that if she ever met him in this world she would get down on one knee and swear her loyalty to him in this world as well as her own world.
Once done she joined the others staying a little away from everyone as she leant against the top of her staff watching the heart spin slowly, telling her that her heart rate was slow. It was better this way than for it to be racing wildly showing her excitement for the mission and the chance to show that she wasn't a girl who could only rely on magic to fight her battles.
Giving a nod od her head to Arthur when he asked if everyone was ready.

At the tavern she laughed at Calix's silly antics. Hearing about a flask of alcohol could make this trip a little interesting, considering what had already happened yesterday.
Tres grabbed one of the packs and threw it around her back along with her bag. She was ready to go.
Time Skip
As they journeyed to the camp, Tres listened to Aria play music. She was baffled that she had never heard her play before. They were lovely tunes that really lifted her spirits.
They all followed on horseback, Tres was playing with her pendant around her neck, but they came to a halt at a camp. She watched as the dwarf said a silent prayer, and as a few others seemed to join him in his silent worship. Tres decided to say a quick prayer as well on behalf of the pantheon. Each of the Gods had something to offer that she could quite frankly use in battle. Besides, she didn't want to just pray to Helena. That would distract her from her goal at hand.
When the dwarf finished, she smiled and nodded at him. Affirming that she too was ready for whatever came ahead.

Arthur gave Aria a nod of his head to her "Aye, that day made me think over things and I became a man of the cloth as repentence for me actions. So thank ye for some of those kind words, Saden's Champion. It took me a bit to figure ye out. But anyway yer not the type for titles anyway lass" he said and saw that everyone was ready to go. They would head to the main gate and then pass through to the main gate. Then on to the cave ahead and into the murky darkness ahead and it was dark but it seemed that some parties had placed sources of illumination through out the cave. It was enough to make some of the lesser hostile beasts and monsters. But not enough to get the more primal ones away or that these sources of light to effect them.
"Alright......even though that you should be leading this Arthur, I'm going to take point. You, Lilith, and Tres are behind me, Nyx and Aria you watch our backs. Nyx if you can give support fire or spells, and Aria.....since your senses are far more attuned then most of us. Alert us if there is anything is going to sneak attack us from behind. I know that, I am perhaps the least liked person here. Or someone that should be calling the shots, but I am more suited right now to spearhead things if an enemy attacks from the front" said Kail as he kept his voice slightly low due to the fact that they were slowly and slowly getting deeper into the cave. So he did not want the creatures to be super alert to them if his voice was really loud. Plus from the looks of things he was one of the few that was more defensively inclined due to the fact he had a shield and some rather good armor on.
Arthur gave a slight glare but could not argue with it though. It was a bit of his dwarven pride there and the need to have a good fight that made him give the glowering look. But gave the blond a nod of his head as he knew that they were all going to need to show a lot of caution for this adventure. As they got deeper they entered the biggist cavern in this place and saw the ruins of the dwarven city in its ruined glory. Some of the greater buildings were standing in the massive cavern. But others were shambles or out right piles of rubble. For the group in general one could imagen the wonders of this place in its full glory when it was a grand place in the past. But the group takes the path that Arthur had showed them awhile ago. Things were going smoothly until they went down one street and going to a building that would lead them to a hidden path. A loud snort and a bellowing cry between a man and a beast could be heard.
Kail could see in the distance a bull like man that was charging at them "Scatter we got trouble....you guys got minotaurs in Nova" he called out to the group. The blond could also see that the beast man was carrying a crude battle axe but none the less it was sharp and could chop anyone down to size.

Lilith listened quietly, as she always did, nodding in confirmation to things here and there. When Kail took lead, she nodded again, agreeing to stay in the middle of the group with Tres. It would give her a chance to apologize for the day before. She hadn't meant to yell. When Kail said he may be the most hated, Lilith opened her mouth to protest, but thought better of it, and gripped her scythe instead. It looked rather menacing in comparison to her slender elven figure.
while they walked, Lilith turned to the fallen angel. Hey, about yesterday... I'm sorry, I don't yell... I'm not sure what came over me. She offered a shy smile playing with the grip gear on her scythe again, before adjusting her bag over her shoulder.
When a cry was heard, Lilith's heart fell through her stomach, increasing in speed. She didn't know how she handled the undead attack when such a cry scared her shitless here. She looked around at everyone else, and would follow Tres wherever she went.

Aria smiled gently at the dwarf; chuckling when he mentioned she was not one for titles. No she wasn’t one for swinging titles about, however that one in particular she did take pride in. She knew having a father daughter relationship with well her father in this time would be next to impossible. He had no memory of her; nor would he…but at least she could be a champion that wasn’t a complete disappointment for him. When they finally began their journey, much like the trip there, Aria stayed towards the back. Her eyes adjusting to that of an owls; while her ears slid to the top of her head and formed two large gorge hound ears; which swiveled and twitched at the slightest sounds. It took a few moments to get use to the steady heart beats of her travel companions; but they soon became white noise as she focused on other sounds. Such as a rats scurrying here or the rapid heartbeats of bats overhead and their high pitched ways of communication.
When Kail finally spoke up Arias ears immediately pinned back tightly against her head; his voice was loud compared to the hush echo of their footsteps. It wasn’t as though he was loud, it was just loud to the increased sensitivity of the now fuzzy triangular ears that sat upon her head.
Aria made no argument with Kails plan as staying in the back had been her plan all along; she was there to watch over Lilith, and now that Tres had come along she felt responsible for her as well. Though Tres could take care of herself; the woman was still bound to her. Aria wondered on how likely they would be to be attacked head on… usually it was more effective to go after a straggler or up from behind. But it could happen she supposed.
When they reached the ruins of the city Aria did look up in wonder; she wondered if there were any old manuscripts or even old maps lying around the ruined city…..she wondered if they didn’t run into too much trouble if Author would allow her to take some. The old knowledge in these walls would be more than enough payment for her. She got a little closer to Arthur, as close as she could without leaving her position in the back but close enough to whisper.
”Oh the knowledge this halls hold; Arthur would there by chance be any old manuscripts around. I would very much like to see if we can save some of it, if possible of course, before this place is sealed once more?”
Her voice was barely above a whisper. It would be alright if they couldn’t, the first priority would be getting this man his family’s coat of arms. After all that was why they were here. Aria winced as the loud thunderous roar echoed through the halls….apparently she had been wrong. They were getting attacked head on. She could see what it was from here, Minotaur’s…poor foolish beast…and of course most of their group was women; how lovely.
”Scatter where? We’re in-between buildings?”
Aria being in the back of the group did not have a clear shot with her bow; instead she dug into the packet of seeds she had brought. Picking out the small ones that she knew were vine. She let them fall to the ground, the plants rapidly sprouting and spreading. There to be used by Lilith if she so needed to defend herself. Aria in the meantime armed her bow with and arrow, ready to shoot if the beast made it close enough.

Listening to the how the formation group was going to be she nodded her head accepting it. As she continued venturing deeper into the cave, it was quiet enough, the lighting gave her a clear view of everyone and partner in covering everyone's back Aria. Not able to hold a gasp as she notices Aria's ears turning to that of hound, her hand itching out to rub them wanting to see how soft there were but she resisted and would wait until they were outside of the cave to ask Aria if she could rub her puppy ears.
Now regaining her focus her eyes scanning the few shadows for anything until the cave opening widen and there all were in the ruins of the dwarven city. Even in ruins she could see what it was like in its former prime. Her eyes trying to take it all in wanting to remember it all so that she could one day tell her family about it.
Nyx barely notices Aria leaving to talk to Arthur about some manuscripts. She since trying to read and write Novaian was hard enough as it she was good without having to add a third language to learn. Still it made her wonder how to advance this city was the building only told her so much, she now interested in the possibility of finding magical item be it a book, staff, cloak just anything. Sadly if their dwarves in Nova were anything like the ones that were told in stories chance is they didn't rely on magic and her dreams of finding something like that was lowered slightly. Still the possibility of finding some materials to make a new staff.
As her mind was wandering a little but still focus to not want to let anyone down. She was brought fully out of her thoughts at the sounds of a cry that was between that of a man and beast. Her eyes widen as she tried to see what was heading towards them only to see a creature she never saw before. Hearing Kail mention it was a minotaur she wasn't going to ask and wanted to bop him over the head with her staff since they couldn't scatter anything.
She was thankful for Aria throwing down some seeds that grew out some vines. It was enough distraction for her to tumble right to have her back pressed against the building as she quickly started her chant berating herself for not having it ready.
"Lights of the world guide this servant with water. Water come to me!" Her voice soft yet power behind the words not lost as she glance at Aria, her own eyes sadden as she had to drain some water from the vines, not enough to kill them but just enough to get a small ball of water as she focuses her magic to draw the rest of the water from the air and any surrounding water source.
As the ball was getting bigger she knew that as soon as the minotaur was within range she would have to throw it no matter the size. It still it had to go though Kail first since was they close range combatant and first line of defence.

As they moved forward into the region, she listened to the game plan proposed by Kail, and nodded. She moved immediately to the middle of the group next to Lilith. Although Tres knew she was capable of taking on an outside role like the others, it was best that the two healers stay in the middle in case all else fails. At least in this case she could help Lilith easily being so close to her.
She moved close to Lilith, and heard her kind whispers. Tres had always found Lilith's voice quite soothing, and she knew her to be an honest individual. Therefore her apology was nothing but sincere. "I know you don't. It was all in good reason, I understand." she paused a moment to listen in between her murmurs "I know what it's like to under high-stress situations, what you did was what needed to be done, no need to apologize for that." As they walked and whispered, she tightened the straps of her bag, making sure they wouldn't snag on anything too easily, and adjusted her grip on her doubling sword-and-cross.
After walking through the main gate and onward to the ruins, she adjusted her body to the sounds of the area. Catching small noises such as vermin and trickling water. She then blurred the sounds so that they were just background music. Tres admired what the city was, what it stood for and what it held. She would love to hear a history lesson from Arthur if they had the time. After thinking, she made sure to observe where her partners were in respect to her (especially Lilith and Arthur, to make sure they were safe), to ensure that no damage was done to them in the case of an attack. She also took into consideration the distance they had between buildings just in case. Tres looked for some escape routes if need be, and took into account the size of the exits.
However her quick thought was soon interrupted by a half-man half-beast, a Minotaur. The shrilling cry sent shivers up her spine, and adrenaline into her veins. Tres grabbed hold of her cross and threw the strap from over her head, wrapping it around her arm to secure it to her in one swift motion. It was obvious that she had been wielding this cross for hundreds of years. She quickly flashed it to the side, revealing it's hidden blade, arming herself in case it happens to get past their front man. If she hadn't been in fight-mode, she would have laughed at Aria's confusion.
Tres saw Aria throw down some seeds and watched in her peripheral as she had attentive eyes on the Minotaur, trying not to look it directly in the eyes to anger it further. She saw the vines grow quickly, she wasn't sure if quickly enough. She could also see Nyx in the corner of her eye, balling together what seemed to be some form of manna. She took a step back, putting her arm in front of Lilith, not touching her, but hovering over her stomach, and making her take a few steps back by guiding her.
Tres also began scanning behind them to make sure nothing came from behind if Aria and Nyx were busy. Although Tres was the middle miss, and trusted the people she was with (considering she was bound to Aria, friends with Lilith and Nyx, and had a growing fondness for Arthur's tales and Kail's want to sass Aria), she wasn't taking any chances.
