Sai waved off what Diamond had said because it was one thing that she had learnt in life was that mistakes have consequences sometimes there were light others they could cost one their life. Even if it did scare the young man who asked them for help she did hope that he learnt from this and as long as he did she wasn't going to harm him, of course, he didn't and she found out then that was different.
She as glad that Adrain didn't mind that she singled him out as the leader. Looking she did notice that the wildlife in the area wasn't scared off maybe it was a sign. "If the energy isn't unnatural. By chance could it be that what..." She said pointing at the man. "Create or recreated is possibility an ancient guardian of the temple." She asked as they continue to follow the tracks, wondering if what she said was true. If so then it would have been a useless mission for her to take on since it would mean no fighting and even no reward because they were wasting their time on something that wouldn't leave the forest to begin with.
As she walked she tapped her staff against some trees to make sure that nothing was hiding in there not wanting any innocent animal to get hurt if it did come down to a fight.

Diamond looked over at Adrian and gave a nod of his head, as he was not well versed in constructs like this. Although he had faced several mechanical puppets a few times. But it seemed that this thing was in a totally diffrent leauge then himself. Sai spoke before he could get his thoughts out on the golem. "I think your right in some kind of degree Sai. Morrowlight did say something about finding parts in some ruins. If it is protecting something......I am curious as to what is inside there. Although that might be more trouble then I am bargening for, as like the curious cat. That curiosity might kill me in the end" he said and carefully moved through the forest while following the tracks. "I do appologise, my name is Diamond Corsica. A fellow adventurer and current champion to Mylee. And to answer your question miss, if we might end up in a trap. This thing is rather bulky and its not that agile so we can doge its attacks. As you can see it left a rather big trail for us to follow the white haired male said to the other two. He was not sure if he gave Adrian his name before, but the blond haired woman though. Diamond was sure that he had not came across her before until this day. As her apperance was rather striking and had not seen another being like Iris in his travels.
"Also if we do have to fight, I have something that can even the odds slightly to our favor. But I do hope for a non-violent means in this" he said agreeing with the others that whatever this thing was. It would be a rather massive problem to deal with. If they had to fight the construct in combat since its creator made it rather strong.

As the group got closer to the ruins it looked like a temple or some kind of place for rituals. As there were several stylized collums as well as most of the place was set on massive stone tiles. It was not in use anymore as there was some decay and some overgrowth from some plants that had grown over some of the pillars. There had been a few trees that broke through some of the tiles. A bit further back was the temple entrance. At the entrance there was a very large spherical metal man hunched over and did not look like it was active, its arms were rather larger then its legs giving it a more ape like apperance. It had no real human face as it was too dark to see into its hood like covering. In this part of the temple though there was utter silence, the only thing that could be heard though was the wind wissling around them. But as they got closer sparks could be seen come off the golem. "TRESSPASSORS DETECTED.....TRESSPASSORS DETECTED" it spoke in a almost inhuman manner as it sounded cold and metalaic sounding. A red glow could be seen under its hood and perhaps its eyes as it slowly awoke from what looked like its slumber.
"LEAVE OR YOU WILL BE DESTORYED" it said again and grabbed a large piece of rubble and threw it a few feet in front of the people as a warning shot. The metal giant looked like it was ready for a fight as it now fully stood up. Its size would tower over most of the party members. "MUST PROTECT....MUST PROTECT...." it repeated.

"If it's camping in the ruins, it means that there is something there worth interest. A large, active golem will draw attention and eventually a determined enough attacker or group will destroy it regardless of what happens tonight if we decided to just leave it be. If there is something important here, then we need to know what since artifacts in the wrong hands can spell bad tidings for the city or people on the outskirts. I'd rather figure out the full story myself.
If it is just a physical golem it can probably be trapped in a deep hole with an earth spell or incapacitated in some shape or form. If it is intelligent, I will try to reason with it." Adrain says, addressing Isis' inquiry about what the plan would be. Admittedly, the mage's curiosity was roused now. As he heard Sai and a hint of disappointment in her voice, he turned to her.
"I will compensate you and the others myself out of the Arch's coffers for your time one way or another, at the very least I'll see to it that your time is given due value. You are helping to correct what may have been a serious mistake by Morrowind and I'm not confident he would provide compensation if the golem is to not be destroyed."
As the party arrived at the temple and the creature threw a boulder, Adrain watched, calculated the trajectory mentally, and then watched it land in front, whipping his hand to blow away chunks that flew at the group with a burst of wind should it be needed. He looks at the golem, sizing it up and raising a brow. As the golem spoke, he projected his voice with air magic to make sure it would hear him.
"Golem! I am Archmage Adrain Kaiaru, master of Reks Morrowind, the mage who activated you. I wish to inquire as to what it is you are protecting. If it is dangerous, then I wish to secure it to prevent it from harming the outside world in the event you are destroyed by a strong enough opponent. I do not wish to destroy you if I can help it, but I will not risk some rogue or charlatan capturing an artifact that would harm the innocent." he calls out to the golem, hoping that it would understand the intention of the group.

Iris looked around as she received various answers from both the person she asked, and the white haired male. She nodded to both, thinking the knowledge over.. If it was intelligent, it could be reasoned with, but if so, why was it running away to begin with? If it wasn't and it attacked, they would have to defend and fight back, potentially without destroying it by request. Iris rubbed the bridge of her nose, this quest was becoming more hassle than it was worth. She'd only been fated here a month ago, and already she was tired of this boresom world. If this was as eventful as it got, she'd be bored out of her mind in another week.
"Pleasure, I'm sure, Diamond." She waved her hand back to him, not really interested in his introductions. She could care less who these people were, or what their statuses were. What mattered was their capability to fight and protect themselves if it came down to it, so she wouldn't have to. She didn't want to start her life in this world with blood on her hands if she could help it, but if it happened, she could definitely live with it.
When a voice bellowed out to them as they reached the ruins, Iris stopped walking and watched the creature with interest. It was like nothing she'd ever seen before, which she was sure was how people described her in this world. With a quick glance it was clear Adrain was trying to figure out it's patterns and intelligent level, and before long he called out to it. "I wonder what it's protecting... But I agree, if it's something of importance, it should be scavenged after this, and brought to an appropriate place, so not to be used in ill manners." She spoke, keeping her eyes on the creature, not knowing where the hell they would take it, or what could even be considered important, but the basic knowledge was there in any situation.
Iris reached around to her hip and pulled out the starter sword Killian had lent her. It was nothing like she was used to, and she probably looked like a novice fool to the people around her, but she could care less. It would do for now. She swung it 'round next to her for a moment, and spread her legs apart in a more balanced stance. Intelligent or not she wasn't taking any chances. There was potential that the creature would lash out or stop protecting whatever it was and head for them, and she wanted to be ready, even from this distance. With her free hand, Iris push her golden hair back and skillfully tied it in a knot behind her neck. "Let's do this." She said before cracking her neck.

Sai nodded at what Diamond said as she kept walking wondering what they would see once they reach the ruin. Either way, she wasn't too worried about ending up in a trap minus the fact that she didn't bring enough clothes for if she had to change into a younger version of herself to escape and then get help the others once she was out. Shaking her head at the thought of helping the others this isn't normal for her since most of her jobs are done solo. Now with a team even if she wasn't the leader she also knew that they had to work together.
"Well if it protecting something then I agree that we should bring whatever it is to someone who could identify it and protect it," Sai said she shook her head at the mention of compensation. Honestly, no amount of money would make it worth wild, yes the reward was part of the reason but she was looking and more so itching for a fight. "I'm not looking for compensation, I was mostly looking for a fight."
Upon the reaching just the ruins, she looked around the temple was beautiful even in its ruin state. Maybe because of the way the vines twisted around the pillars, giving it a look of perfect harmony with nature. Sadly this was ruin upon seeing the golem and it started to speak to them about trespassing. Its voice was an assault to her ears simply because of the cold and metallic way it sounded, now she just wanted to disable it's vocal cord if it had one to stop it from talking.
She wasn't going to talk to it like the other members of her party, making a decision she moved to the back of the ground. Her skills were more ranged attacking, and as much as she would love to run in and take it head on she knew that she didn't have the brute strength to take it down. Plus based on what she saw, unless she could either shift into a child or climb a tree and log a dagger in its head, chest or even one of its joints, she would have to wait and see.

"Either way, I am here to challange myself and if I get anything extra here thats just the gravy" said Diamond as he kept his right hand on one of the blades. Since he just wanted to be careful on this, and saw the ruins around him. It was a beautiful site of a former glory. But he saw deeper and saw a giant metal man and it seemed to awaken as they got closer into the ruins. It then gave them all a warning shot as soon the flying piece of rubble was coming at them. It landed but a part came flying at him. Quickly drawing his blade, Diamond slices the debris with expert handling and making sure it did not hit anyone else. As he sheathed his blade he saw Iris getting ready for a fight as she drew a sword. It seemed from what he saw that it was a basic but sturdy looking blade. Further back as he could tell, Sai was pulling back for something. For what he could not tell at this moment and time. Diamond's gaze switched over to Adrian as he used something to increase his voice to speak to the giant metal man.
The white haired mercenary did hope that it could be reasoned with. Since the majority of them were not massively adept in magic like Adrian. He was somewhat but was not on the level of what the headmaster of the arch of ages but could do well in a pinch it seemed like. But were his tallents good enough to harm something like this? One could only tell when it happens.

"CAN NOT ALLOW ANYONE IN.........YOU WERE WARNED.......PREPARE TO BE EXTERMINATED" the Golem said and then started to walk and then picked up speed and was in a slow run but its run would cause slight tremors. As its weight was making a thundering sound as it ran to the group. Its soulless red eyes only carrying out its mission of protecting what was inside. Its right arm was raised and the hand withdrew into the arm and reformed into a massive hammer. With the logic core active it seeked the target that would be most problematic to deal with. And with the cold logic within its core it targeted Adrian as he had the most mana coming from him. Although it could also sensed something in Diamond, but the mage was stronger. The other two were not a major threat to him as they had no mana presnance with them. As soon as it could come into melee range it would try and go for a overhead swing to try and crush Adrian in one fell blow if it could with its massive weight. It had no worries of being harmed as it knew that its body would be hard to damage as well as being resistent to most normal weapons.

"Looks like you'll get your wish Sai." Adrain said with an exhale of breath when the Golem seemed to be beyond logic and approaching. He shook his head as he then analyzes the thing quickly while it was en route. The darkness in it's helm cavity was useful. The creature seemed hell bent on coming after Adrain based on its trajectory which said something. It didn't see Iris or Diamond as a threat with a drawn weapon, nor Sai whom seemed to be retreating to a more advantageous position.
Perhaps this could be used to an advantage. Adrain immediately began to run in a trajectory leading away from the other three to expose the creature to them. Once he cut to the left, he turns around and holds his hand as shadows form around it. Adrain being a natural master of Shadow cause the darkness to grow and envelop the creature's red eyes, blotting them out to the world outside and hopefully blinding it.
Once that was done, Adrain starts to cast an Earthen spell, standing behind a pillar. A rumbling would manifest, but it would require a brief time before the full effects can be realized.

Iris watched as everyone around her seemed to shift into gear once it was realized that the creature would not go down quietly. When a piece of rock came flying and Diamond knocked it away, Iris shook her head. “Pity. Poor thing has a death wish. Well we wouldn’t want to go against it’s wished now, would we?” She smirked to herself and gripped her sword tightly.
The creature yelled again, announcing it’s intent before bolting towards their group. Iris readied herself, but without warning Adrain darted away from their group. She was confused for a moment, but remembered he had magic on his side. He’d probably sensed something she was not able to. The creature clearly had it out for their makeshift leader, as it was following him. She didn’t know what magic he was brewing, but his plan seemed basically clear as he lead it away from their group.
He couldn’t expect them to just sit and watch, so Iris moved after him, once the creature was already following him. She stayed far enough away to keep it’s attention off of her, and saw Adrain standing behind a pillar, casting something. Iris positioned herself nearby, but not in the way, incase the creature attack while he was casting whatever it was, so she could protect him. She goat like lower half made it more than easy for her to run and jump around without hesitance. She did not engage the creature however, not wanting to spoil Adrain’s plan.

Sai raised a single eye eyebrow at the golem it wanted to exterminate them, that thing sure had a sense of humor that was for sure. Her lips turning upwards into a smirk nodded at Adrain that she got her wish on the fight. She was moving for her throwing knives when she saw him take away from the group the golem following him. Now this was interesting for sure for the golem to find him a threat and not the others the only thing she would think about was his magical output.
She almost wanted to curse the golem if only it had focus Adrain because of his appearances she could have changed her features similar to his and throw it off it's tracks. With a nod of her head to Diamond she took off after Iris, the golem and Adrain staying closer to the shadows of the trees. Her mind set knowing that she wouldn't have enough time to climb a tree for more advantageous position.
As she ran she pulled out three of the five throwing knives, holding them between her fingers. She just waved off her lack of proper preparation having looked at it as a quick job, take apart the golem and scrap the pieces for money for a new weapon. Now the job was more difficult than she through, she looked at she caught up to them quickly. Seeing Adrain behind a pillar, she looked between him and the golem, quickly placing two of them back on her belt. Throwing the single knife in between the golem and pillar hoping to distract it knowing that her next one will have to make hit it she can't miss if she was to buy they leader time.

Diamond seeing that this metal monster had a rather single focused job had made him sigh greatly. Seeing that this thing was not going to be an easy thing to beat down. As he was about to act though he sees everyone splits off and sees Adrian just dart off to take cover behind a pillar. Then Iris and Sai did the same while spreading out to not be targeted by that thing and saddly it was going after the mage. Then the weaker of them as it seemed to sense the more output of Adrian's mana. He sighs and nods back to Sai and then he grabbed two diamonds in his gem bag. He then tapped into his magical ability and in his hands the crystals grew and formed into a odd looking massive sized club made out of diamonds. It looked large and exagonal with some spikes on it and it was close to something that was called a kanebo. He then charges at the golem with the large club and went after the left side of the construct. He then swung his club hard into the thing as he wanted to crush this thing. As he had hoped that the dagger would distract the thing so he could land this blow to really harm it. Since he was one of the few there to try and slug it out with the metal man.

The golem continued its advancing charge on Adrian and it had a slight thing of logic as to switch his target to the next thing. But the mana was growing or channeled from him so he was the most likely target. As it lumbered forward though its vision was slowly getting hampered by something. The thing continued until something had hit its side, now looking or trying to find where or what had hit it. Since now its vision was now blind and in its vunerable state stopped to try and revaluate the situation until it was slammed hard on the other side by something heavy. It fell over to its side as Diamond had sent it to the floor. But it seemed that the construct had other ideas. As it went to the ground though it reformed into a sphere and then started to roll about. Now becoming a moving metal ball that would crush anything in its wake. As it slowly started gaining more speed to the point that it was crushing some of the pillars. This was due to its sight being taken away, it would swurve and roll about. Almost random when it would turn, then it went for the tree that Sai would be in. It would be rolling at a rather fast rate, if it rolled on to someone they would surely be crushed by its shear weight.

As the golem begins to roll around, likely a result of the blindness, Adrain was able to finish the spell he was casting as a yellow glyph manifests around his right hand. He sees that the Golem was rolling towards where Sai was perched and looks at the spot in front of the Golem as the ground trembles and a quake erupts, a large chasm in the ground ripping and pulling within a thirty foot area. The ground tears to pull the golem in, or at least so Adrain would hope.
Adrain's eyes glow as he then quickly puts a spell under Sai, her body and movements accelerated up to three times the normal speed as time speeds up around and for her. He prepared to intervene if needed, but he figured Sai was capable possibly without the hastening, with it it should be no problem.

Iris wasn’t surprised when Sai followed closely behind her. It was clear who the creature was headed towards, so why wouldn’t they try and protect him while he did his magic? From there everything moved rather fast. Iris didn’t have to do anything it seemed; Sai threw her knife as a distraction and Diamond seemed to jump in head on. Iris would have gone for another approach, but she had to commend him on his effort. The creature fell on its side, quickly fixing it’s error and transforming into a large round ball. Iris looked back and forth between the sphere and it’s guessed destination. Iris looked at Adrain, knowing she couldn’t jump in front and push him out of the way; there wasn’t enough time and they both would end up being crushed.
In the middle of her thought process, the sphere switched directions, heading for Sai instead. Iris glanced at Adrain, who seemed to be casting something else this time, and as if on cue, a trench of some sort opens in the ground. Iris was stuck. Once again, she wouldn’t reach Sai in time to help, and she had no magic, so really.. all she could do was watch, and hope that Adrains magic worked, and/or Sai made it out in time.
