Odette had taken it upon herself to not remain completely a dame in a damned situation, and thus proceeded to leave this alien cavern of cyan light and glass water. Moments before this courageous decision she had been dropped out of early 20th century Paris like a burned crumpet from a baker's tray and into this queer location. She at first did not fear for safety nor circumstance until of course she stuck a heel in a crack within the floor and managed to nearly impale her leg upon a jagged stone.
The blood was nearing a profuse amount of leakage but annoyance masked the pain as she ditched her shoes with a large huff of disgust - her dainty lace-trimmed sockets in due time stained ruby. Odette then proceeded to lift the long coal ballet bag she had in her grasp onto her slim shoulders only to nearly toss it on the ground as a mass drain of energy consumed her being.
Nevertheless the one thing she hated moreover than a busted heel was any concept of pity and so she carried on. Pulling the salt and pepper wolf fur coat closer to her delicate frame and hefting the bag once more on her shoulder she set off.
The account of her further travels from thence forth become quite hazy, perhaps from a rising sense of mania, perhaps from the blood loss both were equal partners. Regardless Odette now found her attention focused on her surroundings and gasped with fragile excitement - Civilization!
Before her grey doe like eyes was a large mountain with what seemed to be housing structures carved into the stone, and so one track minded upon finding help she did not stop to take in the beauty of the landscape and headed for what she hoped to be an entrance to this strange place.
"Allo? Quelqu'un peut-il m'aider? " Odette's birdsong of a voice called out to the rocks as she headed for a door. At this point the wound had spilled much of her lifeblood and so she became a little woozy , she fell against the door with a thud. She was conscious, but weary.

Aria blinked at Roxanne; how could she not like pants?! They were a godsend.
”Pants are wonderful! One can move about freely without flashing the world. Think of how much I jump about. I rather avoid the accidental cheek peek.”
Aria nodded to Serenity the move was good timing. Chuckling a bit when Serenity found it cool that Aria had known Roxanne for a while.
”We met nine years ago I believe, her boyfriend at the time was the one who did this”
Aria tapped the side of her scarred face and then gave Roxanne a teasing smile.
”Alas I was and am the friend with the better taste in men; yes?”
The conversation turned back to Serenity’s shop and that working for her had its perks. Which was true, working for her did have its perks. However Aria didn’t see any reason for Serenity to have to put her shop on hold on account of her.
”I don’t see why you can’t run your shop as well as act as a handmaiden. I’ll be working with the drakes early mornings and afternoons; and if you’d like a couple days off to run your shop I don’t see why you can’t……What was that….”
There was a thump at the door; drawing Arias attention away from the conversation. Aria moved past Serenity and to the door; pretty sure she heard someone calling from outside. Aria walked over and swung the door open; blinking when the smell of blood hit her.
”Serenity fetch me some rags!”

Odette's fingernails made a scrapping noise when she gripped the wooden doorframe for support. She did such so as to haul her weak body from the dirt to face whomever had answered her pleas.
Leaving her carryon upon the ground she was able to stand upright as long as she kept a slender hand on something solid. Her head throbbed from where she had struck it and a flare of agunish blazed from her wound.
It appeared the rock had knicked her perofable tibal artery along with tearing her knee open when it had stabbed her leg on her short tumble. With immediate attention it would be no true cause for worry but Odette had never seen so much blood before in her young adult life and her heart raced speeding up the blood flow.
Peeling back the short veil from her pillbox hat Odette blinked her just slightly bulbous eyes up at her rescuer "me suis blessé gravement, pouvez-vous s'il vous plaît aidez-moi ?" she spoke to the red haired woman whom stood before her, believing she still remained in Paris not registering the switch of languages.

Roxanne made a pfft noise as Aria tried to make a case for pants. "I'm not really concerned with people seeing my ass but limited movement thing is kind of why all my dresses have splits. Now that I've regained my full demon form, though, its even less of a problem," she said, grinning wickedly.
At the reminder of what Dante did to Aria's face though, her expression darkened. "I swear if it wasn't dead, I'd go hunt him down and torture him to death. That being said..." Roxanne sighed, taking a deep breath and then giving the goddess an amused look, "I do have a bit of an odd choice in men. You're making this statement though, just based off the few men you know about in my life. This is, of course, not counting while I was gone. Oh the horror," the half demon added.
Roxanne was going to ask Serenity about her shop when a familiar smell hit her nose, followed by a faint voice. She sniffed lightly. "You smell that right, Aria? Human blood?" she asked, not getting an answer as Aria ran over to the door and opened it. There was a very pale, very injured young woman on their doorstep and she didn't speak anything Roxanne understood.
Aria's request for rags had Roxanne nodding and she ran quickly to the kitchen, coming back in a minute with all the towels she could find, a lousy total of two. "I can cauterize that, but it won't be pretty and it will be painful. Unless, of course, we can give her some of the lunar flowers I found in my room. I had a whole kit in there from when I was first Fated over," Roxanne offered, remembering the time she had cut her hand and Rivers had helped her bandage it. He had taught her basic first aid, which might very well come in handy now.

Looking beyond the first woman with the scarred face, Odette spotted a second speaker whom was in the oddest of guises-Is this an opera house? her and her delirium wondered for she had a tail and other abnormal features and clothing. There was a third woman farther back within the home -yet another redhead -and Odette's desperate thought this was a playhouse cemented a bit when she took in all their odd attires and the weapon strung to the back of the tailed woman.
This time the changeover of dialect struck her frazzled mind and she attempted her tongue to match it.
" Cauterize? Ah non non," her eyes widened in slight horror. " Just telephone the ambulances ! If i ask this of you, my legs..my legs they are life."
She placed the foot of her good leg upon the threshold but years of being proper and following all of rules of etiquette prevented her from fully entering the household uninvited.
"Enter, may I? I ...i need blood." by this of course she intended to say she was losing much blood, not that she held some sort of life sustaining requirement for plasma as her words had suggested.

Serenity shook her head. She could see why these two were friends: both bold, brave, independant, adventurous and a little bit scary. Serenity moved to do up the back of Arias dress, when both women freaked out. It didnt click in for her until she heard something at her front door. She got there last, seeing a pale woman slouched against her doorframe. She couldnt understand a word she was saying, but she knew the language. Shes speaking french. Its a language from another city where I'm from. But i dont know any of it myself... Serenity spoke before leaving to get the rag as requested.
She returned a moment later with a few rags and a glass of water. She has layn a towel on the couch. Bring her to the couch, she'll be more comfortable. We can't call and ambulance dear... There are none, I'm afraid. It would be best for you to let her cauterize the wound. I promise it will be okay. Serenity reassured her while handing her the glass of water once she was safe on the couch.

Aria had indeed caught whiff of the human blood; she was surprised when a woman speaking an odd language. She had odd clothing as well; however she was not focusing on that but searching for where the source of blood was coming from. Aria glanced up at Serenity when she said the woman was speaking some language called French; another one from that world then. Aria glanced over at Roxanne when she mentioned cauterizing the wound; Aria had done something similar for wounds in the past. However she had evolved from that….she only did such painful medical treatments on people she wasn’t fond of now. The lunar flower waaass an option….Aria looked at the young blonde woman who seemed to understand exactly what the word cauterize meant; at least she understood them. That was a start.
” Roxanne grab a lunar flower and make a paste; if you have a mortar and pestle in this place it will be most helpful. It will help clean the wound so I can heal it without chances of infection. Also Serenity I apologize in advance for your dress I’ll have it cleaned.”
Aria turned a calm bluegreen gaze to the other woman; she stepped around her and without much warning scooped her up into a princess style carry. The girl shouldn’t have to walk more then she had to. Aria carried the woman over to the couch and laid her gently down upon the towel.
”Now let’s see that leg of yours.”
Aria lifted the fabric that covered the leg; peeling the sock down with gentle hands. The wound was deep and it bleed a lot. It didn’t look like anything was stuck in the wound; but it would need to be cleaned just in case any dirt was still lodged in amongst the carnage. Aria nodded a thanks to Serenity when she handed the rags; she placed one firmly against the wound to at least slow the bleeding while they retrieved everything else.
”I’m going to have to ask later what this ambulance and telephone thing is; but I do not think we will need to use such methods such as cauterizing with fire. Serenity if you are able; a bowl of water would be useful and some blankets. It looks as though she’s lost a lot of blood. I will not be surprised if she goes into shock.”
The whole time Aria worked her voice remained calm and even; her movements were sure from years of practice. As she waited for the rest of the supplies she would need she looked at the girl.
”We’ll try to make this as painless as possible; your leg should be fine. My name is Aria; what might yours be?”

Roxanne held back a chuckle at the pale woman's reaction to the idea of cauterizing the wound, but the amusement was in her eyes. She couldn't help it really. Instead, she busied herself with Aria's task. "I"m sure I can find something," she said and ran into the kitchen. The sound of banging pots, slamming cabinet doors, and much shuffling floated back into the living room along with an occasional thump as it became clear that the half demon was destroying the kitchen.
She returned a moment later with the mortar and pestle, setting it on the floor, and then digging around in her bag for the flowers. She pulled 2, just in case, and crumpled them into the bowl then used her inhuman strength and speed to quickly mash up the flowers into a thick paste. Roxanne set the bowl down next to Aria who had moved the girl to the couch. The injury looked pretty nasty but she wasn't worried.
Roxanne looked curiously at Aria as she assured the girl they wouldn't need to cauterize. Perhaps the goddess had more than one new ability up her sleeve. "She's right about it being painless then, if we're not cauterizing it. This paste here will help immensely, though it's going to make you a bit loopy. Aria knows what she's doing though, a lot more than I do. You're in good hands here and are quite fortunate that we just happened to be here. We're likely the only people around for miles," Roxanne said, making light conversation to try and keep the woman distracted. "I'm Roxanne by the way. Don't be alarmed by my appearance. I'm rather nice to those that stay on my good side," she added, trying in her own way to reassure the girl that the scary demon wasn't scary.

Odette's brow furrowed in puzzlement and displeasure at the remarks of the one they called Serenity to speak, but reserved her questions for a less dire situation. She did however begin to protest anew upon the thought of scorching her flesh, lips parted and all that, until the woman with the marred face spoke of a much better alternative.
Eagerly her eyes focused upon her and her ears hung on every word to help avoid miscommunication and false hope. She also appreciated this gal, she seemed to command a natural respect and was unabashed about her maimed skin-at least in Odette's eyes this a true act of courage.
A startled yelp popped out of her cherry lips as she was lifted from her feet- what strength for a woman!
" It was rock, eh sharp. I fallen and ah! It stuck. " she was relieved no burning of the leg was to occur. Feeling warm she dropped her wolf coat to reveal the underneath.
She wore a dress of charcoal persuasion and it was mid length sleeved with no shoulders, just a sharp cut of lace and a straight cut horizontal to show off her collarbone. The bottom had slight net trim to it that crawled up the body vine style. Her shoes were nowhere in sight.
With a wince she replied to Aria " my name is Odette Trompeur , and I am in much crazy moment...but merci- ah thank you! Thank you all." The world spotted obsidian but she did not fear, their voices and pure concern made her trust and believe in these odd strangers and their words. She'd be just fine, there was nothing to fear... Not demons nor bloodletting or loss could harm her hear! Well maybe the bloodletting was getting to her. She'd have to process all this when in a clearer mind state...which apparently wasn't going to happen anytime soon.
Odette sucked in a breath to steady herself for the incoming application and nodded a go ahead.

Don’t worry about it Aria. It would take longer to explain than it’s worth. Serenity shook her head, then took off as asked to get a bowl of water. She returned just as quickly, setting the bowl down next to Aria’s feet. It fetching things was all she was good for, than she would continue to do it. It was better than sitting around and watching a girl bleed out.
It’s a pleasure to meet you Odette; even if under certain circumstances. My name is Serenity. She bowed her head, not too concerned with formalities for the time being. Her mind flipped back to Aria, speaking of her dress; Don’t worry about the dress. I hardly wear it anymore anyway. If you want to clean it and hem it to your length, you can have it. Serenity shrugged, and leaned against a nearby wall, waiting for instruction, or information; whichever came first.

Well; Aria was always one for learning new things. She would remember to ask Serenity about it later. Aria turned her attention back to the patient. She listened as she was able to explain what caused the wound.
”Then we most definitely will need to clean it out. With blades nice clean cut….rocks not so much.”
Aria nodded a thanks when Serenity returned with the bowl of water. Aria waved her hand over it and it quickly began to steam. Not enough to cause burns, but it was hot enough where it would clean the wound. Aria dipped a rag in the water and cleaned the area around the wound. As she worked the sound of pots being thrown and cabinets banging caused her to pause. Arias features blanked for a moment before looking over her shoulder and shouting.
”ROXY REMEMBER EVERYTHING YOU BREAK I HAVE TO REPLACE AND I WILL NOT HESITATE TO REMOVE SOMETHING SO DETRAMENTAL TO MY PURSE!”
Really the girl should know better; such items were not cheap….Aria turned her attention back to Odette to finish cleaning the wound. Roxy arrived with the lunar paste shortly after. She took the paste and applied it to the wound thickly.
”Actually it’s when the lunar paste is ingested that it causes hallucinations; as a paste it just speeds up the healing process.”
Once the paste was applied Aria placed her hand over the wound; her eyes took on a gold glow as her hands were enveloped in the same light. Odette would feel a warmth spread through her leg as the blood vessels began to repair themselves, followed by muscles knitting back together, and so on. The process would take a while as Aria had only used a very miniscule bit of magic to begin the repair. The lunar paste would finish the job. She removed her hands and washed them in the water that had been brought. She finished up by wrapping the wound in a clean rag; once she tied it off she stood up and wiped her hands on her skirt.
”That should do it; should be fine by tomorrow morning. You’re very much welcome Odette; take the time and sip on the water Serenity got you, you need fluids. Now can I ask have you been in this odd place for long?”
It was a fair good thing Serenity was not attacked to the dress; for already the pretty blue fabric was stained with blood. However Aria had ruined many nice clothes that way. But at least she knew a certain duchess who was capable of removing blood. She tucked some stray hair behind her slightly pointed ear; when fallowing Roxy here she hadn’t expected it to become so eventful. The girl was clearly new to Nova; it was fortunate that Serenity was around. If Aria had to guess the girl would relate to her the best. After all it was Serenity who was able to place where the girl came from.

The half demon heard Aria quite clearly when she was in the kitchen, of course, and a ring of laughter echoed back into the main room. "Don't worry, Aria. I'm not being as rough as I sound. Human strength only, I promise," she answered back in a normal tone, knowing the other woman would hear her just fine.
She arrived back just int time to hear Odette's explanation.Roxanne made a noise of understanding when the girl explained how she got hurt. It made sense, given their current location. She had a pretty enough name and apparently was from the same place as Serenity, according to her. The real problem was that she was newly Fated and thanks to her recent mission, she knew what the Fated were being used for. They'd have to protect this girl, assuming she was incapable. Roxanne always assumed humans were incapable until proven otherwise incorrect.
Aria corrected her on the lunar paste and the demoness shrugged, her wings rustling as she did so. "Rivers didn't exactly explain all the details. Better for Odette this way then, hm?" she asked, thinking Louie would probably be useful right about now. She'd seen the man work with lunar flowers and he had skills.
Roxanne walked over to grab a few of the other chairs in the room, picking them up like toys and setting them down in front of the couch so they could all sit instead of hovering over the poor, scared thing. She considered momentarily de-transforming but decided against it, thinking it would likely only add to the girl's trauma. Instead, she flipped one of the chairs around, crouching in it instead and resting her arms along the back. It was more comfortable that way, what with her large wings and tail.
"Here's a question. What are we going to do with her? She can't stay here, Aria. It's not safe," Roxanne pointed out, before turning her attention to Odette. "Do you need anything? Are you hungry? Perhaps a change of clothing?" she asked, trying to give some semblance of caring or at least responsibility.

A half grin made its presence against Odette's face in return to Serenity's words; "You are most kind," but it turned sheepish as she caught upon to the part of the conversation concerning blood stains and dresses. " Excuse me! I did not want to make anyone pay for my accidents." Despite the woman's apathetic regards towards her garment Odette thought it be a travesty, she was raised in vain strides and even though she thought the gown to be entirely outdated it was still a pretty piece.
A thousand inquiries burned in her mind about these people and this place; // Who are they really? what are they? Is this all just a hallucination? This Roxy creature...she can't be real?!// She chose not to voice these concerns-they seemed harmless enough and if they did intend determent they wouldn't all be working together to heal her wounds. She thanked her life that she was a traveling ballerina whom picked up pieces of languages here and there, otherwise she would have been in a much more confusing situation.
Odette understood her injury must be cleansed, although she did deset pain so...however she put on a brave face, never to show weakness if she could help it. Not fainting or crying was all she could muster currently. The emotional trauma hit harder than anything-if her leg was seriously damaged could she ever dance again to her total potential? Ballet was her universe outside from her fiance, but would she even ever see him again? These distressful questions were best left for later.
"Oh!" startled at the touch of Aria again, and the proceeding events of witchcraft, Odette wanted to shy away from whatever this woman was doing but it was helping so she stayed put and shoved thoughts of shock that spilled throughout her cranium down. Warmth began to radiate from the wound and her skin began to itch and to her amazement she watched as her skin fibers began to stitch themselves back together. Her head shook slightly, lips parted in quiet awe, //c'est impossible!// But it wasn't impossible...//How could have any of this come to pass?// Again her head shook in disbelief but she thought to herself //Swim with the waves, be them little or colossal, otherwise you will sink.//
Odette had no idea in any world what Lunar flowers were but was amused by its properties and thankful in one breath. They and these woman saved her life. Upon instruction she picked up the bowl and brought it to her lips. She shifted her position on the couch to attempt a form of civility-she was slurping from a bowl for god's sake! She rested the container on her lap feeling refreshed and much better.
"Non, I have only just been here. I was walking to hotel when something led me elsewhere ... then the darkness, and I felt sick. When it was over , I was in a cave , there was a lake and stones that burned green fire.I fallen after that and stuck my leg. I ... I do not remember after that until I came here. We cannot be in Paris...but I must be.." Odette wanted to lose herself to puzzlement, but knew if she were to begin upon that trail she might drive herself insane with the overload.
Her interest switched over to the winged woman, Roxy, Roxanne, whom she had been straying from focusing upon her for too long because frankly she disturbed her and Odette didn't have much brain capacity to handle the supernatural. Obviously she wasn't about to strip the flesh from her bones but certain things take getting used to.
" What is wrong with me? Why unsafe?" she asked of the humanoid creature in response to her stating she couldn't remain at their residence.
"But no, no I am quite well now, thank you. " This response was rushed in comparison to her first, a fear for safety was apparently still in effect and so small luxuries should be dismissed for the time.

Serenity winced as she heard pots and pans flying about, and Aria’s loud voice demanding it to stop. Serenity was just thankful that she no longer lived her to clean it up. Once more Serenity didn’t have much to say as she leaned against the wall. She wasn’t a healer.
She was happy the lady spoke english, it made things a little less hard. Don't worry, we'll take care of you. She smiled, knowing Aria could keep the promise Serenity had just made.
She listened are Odette explained. Sounded about right from how she remembered her experience. Oh, you’re from Paris! I’ve always wanted to visit that place!! She wooed about, clasping her hands together.

Aria waved the girl off when she commented about not wanting anyone to pay for her mistakes. Aria wasn’t concerned with material possessions….after all with the amount of clothes she ruined it really would become to energy consuming to have an issue with every time a garment got ruined. The girl was a good patient; she wasn’t squirmy and she let them do what they needed to do. She glanced up at Roxy when she made a comment about Rivers not telling her more about lunar flowers.
”I wouldn’t expect he would know much about them; I don’t think he ever studied anything to do with the plants….how to find them, what uses there are for them, different ways to prepare them; why I don’t think he’d know the difference between the lunar flowers found on the banks of the river to the ones found in underground caverns.”
Aria had taken the time to learn more about the lovely plant; after all there were so few of them in fey. It was the first gift Mylee had given her after he had healed Roxy from manna corruption. It was a plant that had saved her life a few times. She had taken to discovering more about it even at a young age. It was through many experiments that she found where they grew best and what made them more potent. Aria turned back to Odette as she explained how she just arrived; and already her rough start to Nova.
”I see…”
Aria gave Roxy a dry look as she went on to mention how the new comer wasn’t safe in their current location. Adding the extra stress to someone who might be in shock wasn’t the brightest of ideas. Aria sighed and shook her head. Arching an eyebrow at Serenity’s response to this place called Paris.
”I believe she will be safe for a short stay; at least long enough to get her acquainted with her new surroundings. It does not seem like she received a greeting or an explanation as to how she got here.”
Aria looked at Serenity; seeing how the girl knew about the others world might be beneficial. At least to helping the girl adjust. Aria looked back towards Odette, seeing how she was already slightly worked up from Roxy’s comment.
”Odette; you are no longer in this place called Paris. You are in a kingdom called Nova; a being of the name Fate has brought you here along with many others. …Serenity perhaps you would be more suited to explain.”
