To The King of Palico,
Silas Noru.
Dear brother,
By the time you get this, I shall have been here a little over a week. There's not really much to report. Teair, and Nova in general, seems to still be recovering from Helena's attack. Our dear cousin has assured me that he is in good health, for which I am grateful, though he does seem to have a lot on his mind. That's to be expected though, considering the situation. Any of my friends that were impacted are also doing much better by now, so things are looking up. There's been several exchanges of gifts still, which I find rather charming since it's not really something we practice at home. Even I've received a few, which I found most surprising.
I shall now give you a brief summary of my week thus far. Mostly it's been a lot of touching base with various friends to check on them. I've met several new people though also, including the Headmaster for the Arch of Ages. He has quite an impressive reputation, which includes greatly assisting in saving the city during the attack. I've met a couple of interesting young nobles and a phioric, along with her snake companion, who's entirely new to the city. Speaking of interesting, I also attended a party hosted by our very own Count Vladimir. He claims to have had a shipment of 150 broadswords stolen en route to a buyer that we should probably have someone look into since he also says he reported it.
This has been a most boring letter and I apologize but there's not really anything going on at the moment. I wanted to make sure to let you know that I'm well though and that everything's getting back to normal here in Teair. I trust that you, our court, and our kingdom are fine. I look forward to your reply, dearest Silas.
Your loving sister,
Lucinda Noru, Princess of Palico
