Kasa had only been here a few days and the adjusting to this new place hasn't been all too bad. She mostly hid out in the various crevices of the city or by the alter since she didn't have the funds to go buying a house. And she shouldn't bother Kail with making room for her; She was positive he must've gotten that a lot if people being brought in by Fate was common. The free hours she had she spent exploring and trying to better understand where she had landed. It reminded her in a way of her old world, but it was still different. Realization always seemed to hit her when she got comfortable: She's in another world. Her stomach would do a bit of a flip with that thought; She wouldn't be able to see her companions, old friends, or family for a long time if not ever again. These downer thoughts brought her to the Drunken Kray. She can't let herself wallow in sadness. She's a strong and proud! She'll power through it!... Maybe with the help of some good ale and socializing. Yeah, that always stuck a grin on her face. Kasa managed to find her way to the local tavern within Gallows Bane, taking a step inside and looking around at the warmly lit room. Tables and chairs where set up, a long counter top for the bar with stools, people here and there drinking and eating their fill coupled with the delicious smell of liquor. Kasa loved these places. She made her way to the bar, hopping up onto the tall seat and placed an order for an ale.

Sai was off sitting in a corner she had just gotten back from her mission that had last three weeks honestly if it wasn't for the payout she would have killed the woman who hired her for the job. Honestly, the last three weeks before she spoke with the young man and put him out of his memories of the young woman to rest. So now she was at the bar in Bane she had first come to annoy Kail he was fun to mess with but he wasn't there so she decided to relax at the bar and see what fated she could mess with to relax.
It seemed like the perfect victim came in, a fair looking female, a foot shorted than her with black hair and tan skin. Moving silently around the busy tavern to angle herself to get a look at the face of her newest play thing. Once she has gotten a good look she let her body shift, first working at the height before going to body structure then finally she facial structure. Thinking about it, she decided to minus the scars. Closing her eyes she let allowed her hair to change black but deciding to keep it at the normal length not wanting to go to through brother.
Standing up she took a look down at her clothes they have gotten a bit baggier because of the height but it would work for now. Taking a seat she tucked her black pant legs into her boots to avoid it dragging on the floor, she untucks her blouse letting it loose around her body it got pulled down a bit showing off her top of her chest not that she minded. Once she felt she looked good she walked up the bar, tapping Kasa's shoulder. "Is the seat next to you taken." Not waiting for an answer she took a seat on the right of her.
Placing her hand under her chin she looked at Kasa a soft smile on her lips. Reaching down into her purse she pulled out a few coins, not even looking up at the bartender knowing that he believes his eyes might be playing tricks on him. "I'll take an ale please and keep my cup full." Her eyes never leaving Kasa once wanting not wanting to miss a single one of her reactions. "You never looked into a mirror before." Her own sunset coloured eyes sparkling with laughter.

Once Kasa had gotten her ale, she took a long sip. It was weak and perhaps a little watered down. But it was nice and cool at the very least. In mid sip she felt a hand tap her on the shoulder. “Is the seat next to you taken?” The voice called to her, the closeness making her ear twitch somewhat. She set down the ale and gulped down the liquid, turning to let the female voice know 'sure, go for it.' but she stopped when she noticed two things. One. She took the seat anyway. Two. She was staring at someone who looked just like her. Almost exactly like her. Kasa's brows practically shot up, her eyes widened slightly and her jaw going somewhat slack. She looked like a copy! Just the scars where erased from the skin, her hair was longer and she wore different clothes. Kasa shut her mouth and looked to her ale, no way she was drunk and seeing things. She's only had a sip and the drink wasn't even that strong. She looked back to the woman, maybe she was imagining things. Nope. Still there. This time Kasa narrowed her eyes suspiciously, her mind trying to work out a solution but nothing immediately came to mind. “You never looked into a mirror before.” Said the doppelganger with a sparkle of mischievousness in their eyes. Kasa continued to stare at her with a dumbfounded expression in silence. Soon enough she worked up the decency to speak up to her apparent twin, stuttering at first. ”You...What...Why does woman look like this one? What is woman?” She paused before quickly tacking on another question, but this time speaking in her native language. Maybe she was another Skin-Walker? “Tsagisa dasgi gvdodi ayv gawonihisdi Ganega Aisv?” She questioned, never taking her eyes off the woman, her shoulders tensed with caution. OOC:
Translation: “Tsagisa dasgi gvdodi ayv gawonihisdi Ganega Aisv?” = "Are you familiar with the language of Skin Walkers?"

Sai loved the reaction she got from the woman it was worth more than anything else in this world right now. It did also make up for the fact that she didn't get a chance to annoy Kail for some time now. Taking a sip of her drink as she thought about the best way to answer the woman until she started to speak another language that she was unfamiliar with. "First don't look at the drink you aren't drunk enough yet." Placing her drink down on the counter, then fold her hands lending on the counter looking into the woman's eyes. "You do have beauitiful eyes. Too bad I can't copy that." She moved her hand placing it under the woman's chin. "Maybe you might entertain me enough tonight afterall." Turning back to face the bar she picked her drink back up taking a long drink while wondering how far she could push the woman before she lost intrest in her all together. "I guess I should answer your question. I look like you because it's my birth right. Second I am what one would call a shapeshifter, and last I don't speak that languge."

Kasa stared at the strange lady that looked so similar to herself. She frowned somewhat as she placed a hand under her shin, examining her like some sort of play thing. But, by the way she spoke, Kasa could guess that's what she thought of her. Causing her blood to boil the slightest but she kept her self calm. She didn't want to give this shifter the satisfaction of getting to her. Unfortunately for Kasa her eyes tended to speak her emotions quite clearly. Something she has yet been able to control. Kasa gave a short snort at saying it was the womans birth right to look like her. “If it was woman's birth right, she would have looked like this one from birth.” Kasa grumbled and took a long drink of her ale, she paused to stare at her. “A shapeshifter like this one...But she seem to have more freedom with what she can do. Change into people and without their skin...” Kasa pauses to laugh a moment, rubbing the top of her hand. “Thank Spirits!” She then gives the woman a proud smirk. “But, yes yes. This one is a Skin-Walker. Shifter like woman.”

Sai stared at the woman there was no way that this person was anything like her. She would know she would sense it no way in a million summers was this woman anything like her after all Fated didn't get her abilities some were not even born with magic so how in the Zepon's realm did this woman even possess anything close the ability of a shifter. Then again her eye colour was different was the shade of silver something she had not seen in anyone and the closest thing she has seen to being a unique next to her own eyes.
Narrowing her eyes at the woman still in disbelief that this silvered eyed beauty. "Prove to me that you are what you say you are. Cause if you are lying you wouldn't live to see next sunset." Her tone serious unlined with the promise to carry out her threat. Pulling out her knife she placed it on the counter while never taking her eyes off the woman.
Standing up from the stool she let her bones crack, break and reform until she was back to her normal self, her clothes fitting better on her body. Opening her eyes she pulled a lock of her hair happy to see that it was back to its normal silver colour. "Now shift into me or whatever you prefer." Taking a seat back onto her stool waiting for the woman to prove her tale.

Kasa's brows rose in surprise at how quickly the mischievous shifter went from jovial to drop-dead serious. But Kasa gave a confident smirk, this was something she has done since she was young. It would be no issue to prove her word to the strange woman who looked like-...Not her? Kasa watched with interest as the woman changed to what she assumed was her usual or favored appearance. The familiar and oddly soothing sound of bones cracking filled her ears. The lady changed from Kasa's appearance, to a taller woman with silver hair and molten orange eyes. She gave Kasa a scrutinizing stare. Daring her to prove what she can do. Kasa gave her a proud and confident smirk, hopping down from the bar stool. “Of course this one can shift! She would never lie of skills she is so proud of, yes. Just watch, she will prove.” Kasa let herself slip into focus, trying to feel the pelt meld with her skin and listening for the snapping of her bones...But nothing happened. Kasa looked down at herself in confusion, starting to feel some fear that she won't see the next sunset. “W-Wait...But...” She pauses and pulls the wolf pelt off her back, holding it in her hands. She closes her eyes to better focus. Blocking out the noise of the tavern. Nothing. Kasa sets the wolf pelt on the bench, then opens her satchel to take out her deer pelt. Holding that tightly in her hands and doing the same thing she did with the wolf pelt. Still nothing. She began to speak in her native tongue, attempting to use a prayer that beginners would use to help them focus and tap into their shifting. Her voice shaking somewhat as she recited it. Finally stopping her attempts she scoops up her pelts in her arms and looks at them confused. “Why...Why no work? What is happening?” She asked half to herself and half to Sai. Never has she ran into a situation where she couldn't shift, and because of this, she began to panic.

As she watched the woman pull out different animal pelts each time struggling with shifting. Raising an eyebrow she wondered if this woman was crazy trying to tell her that she was a shifter of some type. The pelts were different for sure, something she has never seen in another shifter and of an animal that she never saw before. Picking up the wolf pelt she held it up to her eye level examining it closely it did look similar to they wolves of Nova but it wasn't the same the differents were noticeable to anyone who seen the Nova ones.
Placing the pelt back down feeling a bit sorry for the woman, maybe she could be nice and let her live for a week and prove herself. After all, her father did do that to her when she found out the truth about him let her live long enough to prove her worth. Reaching for her forgotten drink she took a sip wondering what to tell this woman that she was feeling nice all of sudden and didn't want her to die just yet.
"Look woman. If you say what you say is true. I'll let you prove your worth you have seven sunrises and 6 sunsets to prove it true."Giving the woman a look over before she continued. "Maybe you need the pelt of an animal from this world to work your magic." Giving the woman a little hint and advice, since having another shifter around that she might one day consider a sister would be helpful.

Kasa felt her stomach flips and flops, making her feel sick with fraying nerves. What is happening to her? She felt scared; On multiple levels. Scared that she wasn't able to shift and scared that this woman was going to kill her for not being able to prove something she knew she – at one time – was able to do. “Look woman. If you say what you say is true. I'll let you prove your worth, you have seven sunrises and six sunsets to prove it true.” The woman spoke with authority. Kasa unintentionally let out a sniffle; Oh Spirits, no way was she going to cry! She was not a weak child, she was a proud warrior! And she has a chance to prove herself! It's not much time, but she will certainly try to change into something while in this odd new world. Yet despite trying to talk her mood up she still felt a lingering sense of dread. Probably thanks to the death threat. But the scary shifter woman gave Kasa some good advice. “Maybe you need the pelt of an animal from this world to work your magic.” The woman suggested. This gave Kasa a sense of hope. Maybe she really could retrain herself to shift again. She scooped up her pelts gently, folding them up and putting them in her bag. “W-Wado. Thank you, Scary-Kind Woman. This one will find way to prove herself. She will, yes.” Kasa stated with determination. “Does Scary-Kind Woman have hunting place suggestion?” She asks the white haired woman.

Sai continued to drink as she watched the woman, it seemed like that she was still worried about her life but from the way she now seemed more than determine to prove herself. It made Sai wonder if that's what it was like to have a sibling always wanting to prove themselves to either their parents of they older sister. Thinking no mind on it blaming the mission with the dark mages that cause her to have feelings beyond lusting for the blood of her enemies.
Finishing her drink she thought about what the woman said completely disregarding the fact that she called her a Scary-Kind woman. A place to hunt other than the forever Forest but looking at the woman she didn't believe that she could survive in the forest for much time without something to brave the cold even if winter was half way gone. There was those feelings again of concern for someone's else wellbeing other than her own it was horrible. Pushing down the feeling once again not needing them to surface. "You can hunt in the forest. It is winter so good luck as any to finding animals."

Kasa frowned somewhat. The lady had a point. It was winder and the amount of animals out and about was going to be minimal. Kasa let out a sigh. She suppose she would just have to try and find anything. Perhaps there was some sort of rodent seeking shelter in Gallows Bane from the cold that she could use. While using such an animal's tiny pelt wouldn't be as impressive as a wolf or bear or deer. It would be proof. Kasa bowed her head to the woman in thanks. “Thanks. This one is going to find way to prove self to lady.” She stated with determination, stalking out of the tavern to begin her hunt.

Sai watched the woman for a moment as she left the tavern with pull determination. Sighing she pulls out a few more coins throwing them on the counter paying for her drink and the woman's drink. Waiting a few moments until she had disappeared she pushed off her stool and walked out the tavern to track down the woman and make sure no harm came to her. Pinching her forehead and she looked for the tracks of the woman. "Sai why do you even care." Was all she said as she got on the woman's tracks and tail her from a distance.
