Amiee was more than happy for a slightly warmer weather since it meant that town square would be cleared of all the snow and she could make a little extra money on the side during the days that daddy dearest allowed her to have the day off from work. Today was that day and she was going to make the most out of having taken a few supplies with her to the square a small basket, a set of fans and her tambourine. She was dressed in long dress the top half was white and puffy the sleeves coming to elbows with a little lace like trimming, around her waist was a brown belt that showed off her curves flowing down in a double layer of pink over top and dark red, on her feet were just a simple flat shoes since it was still too cold for her to go barefoot. To cover everything up until she started to dance was a simple brown cloak to help keep her warm.
Once at the town square, she took off her cloak folding it careful placing her basket on the ground in front of her taking out her fans and tambourine. A few people started to gather around some stopped for just a moment before continued on to where there were going.
Closing her eyes for a moment as her right leg crossed her left her right hand holding on to the tambourine as she sent a silent pray to the Gods for luck today. Slowly she started a simple beat letting the chimes ring as she moved her body to the beat, her arms moving around her body as her legs move into simple steps as she told a story using her body and the music as the medium for the tale. It was an old tale of a young woman who fell in love with a nobleman who's parents didn't approve her but they left in the middle of the night to live away from the things that made they pure love complicated. Her body expressing the sadness and joy with all her gestures the music going with the dance expressing more than a simple dance could.
Amiee only opened her eyes upon hearing the applauses of a small crowd that she had drawn. Bowing her head as some tossed a few noruvians into the basket before continuing on their way. "Well for my next dance does anyone have a request or would like to be my partner?" She asked as she moved to grabbed her fans having an idea in mind for something a bit more freeing if no one had any request.

The air was crisp and the weather was more forgiving today than as of late but still Odette was snuggled in her black and grey wolf's coat, it was one of the only things she held that was left of her world and the chill was able to be beat within it. Underneath she wore a slender pink gown with a scoop neckline and silver filigree around the hem and sleeves that fell above the elbow. It was a pretty dress, one she had spotted at a tailor's store a day or so before that she was able to buy with the little currency granted to her by her caretakers so as to blend in with the crowd rather than in her "modern" garments. A pink sash was tied around the waist to emphasis her thin frame.
As she moved around the streets, practically spinning around people as she moved passed them with much grace, she heard the sounds of chimes and spotted a small crowd gathering in a the town square. Curious to what made the music and what art this place had to offer she waltzed over to it. Being so slender and having trained as a ballet dancer since age six she was able to nuzzle her way softly into the crowd without much disturbance and soon faced the center of the commotion. A lone woman in a lovely gown of many colours and whimsy beliefs was battling the sorrows of life and love through dance and song-and how well she expressed it! Her movements were fluid and full of emotion, Odette stared and grinned largely in admiration, a fellow performer at long last! Odette had yet seen dancers since arriving to Nova and was fearing her talent would be at waste in this land but alas, it was still a much appreciated and practiced art.
As her dance came to close, Odette clapped loudly along with the patrons and her bell like voice chipped out a "bravo!" here and there and her heart radiated warmth as she was excited by this woman's passion as it matched her own. Her words were like a dream come true-her feet had ached to dance for so long even though they had only been at rest for a few days and it would be of great pleasure to join in. Odette began to raise her hand but stopped midway-she did not know the dance this woman had done and knew not what to request, and she knew if she did volunteer as her partner she may be outcast for her...foreign movements; Aria, Roxanne and Serenity, had all warned her of the tensions between the Fated and the natives and how if she sullied their customs of showed off her own to the wrong parties it be most unwelcome indeed...
Despite these thoughts however, she decided to say to hell with it! She was a dancer and it was how she could relate to with these people she supposed for now so why waste the opportunity? Her hand was no longer meek and she raised it high and stared hopefully at the dancer, a glow awash her porcelain face.

Amiee scanned the crowd looking for the perfect dance partner most the people were either too young or too old who had volunteered and she needed someone close to her own age group or at least her human age group. She was going to choose a random person until she noticed the woman who reminded her of the dolls she sometimes saw in the shops that she could never afford and wouldn't dream of asking her father to get for her.
Walking towards Odette she bowed while mid bow she extended her hand with the fan. "Would the young lady do me the honour and dance with me?" Making her voice a little deeper to sound a little bit more masculine while also presenting a new act for the growing audience. Once Odette accepted her invite to dance she will pull her lightly from the crowd. "Does the lady have a dance of preference?" She asked her voice still deepish making a few people in the audience laugh.

A gracious light washed her complexion and Odette nodded in response to the request and allowed herself to be plucked through the crowd and brought to into the center. She laughed with the others as the woman lowered her voice in mockery and she slid her wolf coat off to where the lady had placed her's. Upon her feet were the only shoes she had left after breaking her heels;her pink ballet shoes with the ribbons tied up and everything. Luckily for Odette it matched the gown well and was simple enough to not look out of place. The dress she was was wearing had cotton panels sewn in the inside that kept the chill out and it reached just above shins, flaring out in the slightest to keep her movements unrestricted.
Odette paused as a lick of fear entered her as she asked for a dance to be requested but she held up her small head, her golden locks bouncing slightly below her shoulders and responded in kind; " Nothing of name comes to mind...but perhaps something to do with...tragic love?" She knew she couldn't guess at the stories or dances of this world but that general topic seemed safe enough so her little voice said such with confidence, her accent giving away her fated origin. Odette waited patiently with a kind smile as she awaited further instruction of where to begin.

Amiee felt at home in her element, the audience responding the way she wished, it reminded her of when she was traveling with her mother before thing took a turn for a worst but she wouldn't change it anything in the world. Hearing that her partner wanted to a tragic love piece she had to think for a moment of the perfect tragic love a few stories and songs came to her along with dance steps that she could use to go along but nothing seemed right. Finally, she remembered the tale of the Goddess and the prince who's love was forbidden plus it was a nice way for them to retell a history lesson.
"Tragic love. I know the purrfect one. It is the story of the prince and the Goddess who's love was forbidden."After she said that she notice a few of the adults pulling on they children's hand making them stand still to watch since it was now a history lesson. Turning back to her partner flashing her a bright smile, "There are no proper steps to this dance just let the music guide your movement. For this, I would love for you to perform as the Goddess."
Placing her fans in the basket she grabbed her tambourine regretting a little that she didn't add the little bells to her hair. Either way, she would just have to improvise since they needed a beat to follow. Taking up her first position, her legs slightly crisscrossed with her hands at her side, once Odette was in her starting position she would give a nod of her head to signal the start of they dance as she flicked the tambourine a slow beat to start.
Amiee slowly told the story in song of the human prince who was loved by the people and got everything he ever wanted in life land, woman, and even more gold than he could use. The music slowly turning into a sad beat as the story went on to the prince being saddened that he could never get the one thing he truly desired which was the love of a Goddess. Slowly the music moved to an upbeat of the prince meeting the Goddess Caster and how she fell in love with her. Her movements matching the emotions of the prince would have felt in those moments of his life from boredom to sadness and finally love. The tale continued into how the prince wanted Caster all to herself but because their love was forbidden the prince couldn't be with her forever, her movement stopped with her on the ground looking away sadden by the heartbreak as she continued the story of how the Goddess because of love gave birth to prince's son who he will never know. Slowly the music came to an end, Amiee chanced a glance at her partner and smiled since she was better than she expected.

To Odette's relief it would seem her luck was in full swing; for her to suggest a story that was moved my emotion alone and not well known steps caused an inner "Hurrah ". Odette moved to stand beside and a few steps back from Amiee and raised a hand high above her head while bending her back to such an extent her hair was a few feet from skimming the ground. Her legs were crossed as well and from the poistion of her hand it appeared like she was holding herself up by an invisible string when in reality she was just incredibly balanced.
Upon Amiee's direction she nodded for her to go ahead. With each movement she made she twirled to respond to the general idea of the piece, appearing playful at first to a serious love, coming close to embrace the "prince" only to bound away again. Her movements were graceful and a little more ridged than Amiee's for she was trained as a disciplined ballerina after all, but she allowed herself to loosen up as the beat wove itself into her being.
When it came to the saddest parts of the story Odette's face screamed heartbreak and she folded into herself, nearly falling- purposely - onto the cobblestone of the square. She arose with a tragic air but a sense of diginty as she assumed the Goddess would hold, but a weary gleam was spoken through her large doe eyes.
As the routine came to a close she slowed her steps and stilled, smiling back the woman, invigorated by the dance and the thrill of performing. Her chest heaved only slightly but not from the exercise; it was the joy of being on stage again and losing your being to the story. Odette hoped to do such again in the near future .

Amiee was more than happy with the performance Odette was wonderful and the crowd had loved it. Other than some of the movements seeming a bit rigid at times it was still graceful she could almost believe that Odette was a goddess. Picking herself up from the ground she bowed to the crowd. "Would you give you give a hand for my lovely partner Miss...." Drawing a blank on the woman's name since she had complete forgotten to ask for it. Turning to look at Odette silently asking for help on the name.

The wave of applause washed over Odette like a golden warmth of emotion and she relished the feeling. It was more intimate than what she was used to, the crowd being right befor her instead on a lower level. Her smile was big and bright and was pleased by the performance of her partner.
" Trompeur, Odette Trompeur" she replied and took a sweeping bow. She realized she didn't know the other woman's name either but that would come in time she assumed. Odette remained beside her, waiting, unsure if they would continue or disperse-this was the woman's realm after all, not her's.

"Miss Odette Trompeur," Amiee said the name on her tongue while applauding Odette. "I am Amiee Silver. We thank you for joining us during our little performance if you would like to hear more tales enjoy more entertainment we can be found at the Gallow's Inn." She said after doing a little spin plus a little advertisement to her father's tavern wasn't going to hurt since extra business meant more money for nicer things.
Watching the crowd slowly disbursed some throwing more coins into the little basket before going on they way. Going to the basket she kneel down dividing the coins up evenly for the both of them, her eyes widen to see that they made more than she had thought. "Miss Odette come get your own share of profits." She said as she slowly worked out the math of the coins making sure that they both got an even share of the money.
