Oh for the love of the Divines; Where in Mylee's blue balls did she end up now?! Rachel was exhausted and most importantly, lost!! She had the map in her hand and a look of utter confusion spread across her olive features. To anyone that was on looking they would just see a guard standing in the middle of the street staring blankly at a old map. Her lips pressed in a tight frown.
" Ffffff " Rachel bit at her bottom lip to exhale; the air leaving out from her lips created a rather funny sound in her attempts of voicing her frustration. For all she knew this was the Third Districts; Most likely the Slums due to the shape and ware of the buildings that created a maze of uneven roads that all seem to magically connect some how?! It made no sense and thinking about it only made her brain swell and becoming dizzy.
This place had to be cursed! That or she was beginning to develop short term memory. Which she knew wasn't the case! So this was the only way Rachel could explain it or at least blame for her lack of having no directional skills.. Her gray eyes looking up from the map to finally look around at her surroundings once again. Maybe she could spot something different or see a familiar face! Like her father always said ' keep a positive outlook even in the grimmest of situations. '
So this was a grim situation right? So positive outlook right?! Rachel kept mentally cheering at herself. ' Even if it means the Guard Captain would surely scold me for... ' Rachel's stopped, eyes wide, mouth pressed in an awkward scrunched manner.. Would it be bad if she got scolded by the Guard Captain? She had yet to meet the Man. Perhaps he was stunning like the other guards she had seen join up in the past couple of years. Maybe being punished by a gorgeous stout military man wouldn't be such a bad thing? Rachel's temperature spiked, her imagination taking over and running wild as her face became red and flustered. Contain yourself! People are looking!! Rachel scolded at herself, trying to not get too worked up over just her imagination.
Though she had to admit, her imagination did come in handy with making her not panic! But it didn't take away the fact she had a crappy day so far and she was still lost with no back up. This wouldn't be the worse part of her day either, oh no, The worse part was when she first woke up and realized she had over slept. Then she realized her patrol squad had basically left her behind, which meant she had to patrol the slums...Alone.... Again... The thought alone made her want to crawl back into bed.... But nooooo, She had a duty to uphold. Or at least that is what Rachel kept telling herself as she day dreamed and walked the slums crowded afternoon streets.
Still no sign of any other guards within the area. Odd, but not uncommon with such a large place. Heck, maybe if she followed the crowd she would find someone she would recognize or at least find some sort of action to make up for her multiple mistakes today. One could hope, right?

Iris leaned against the wall to a building, a few feet from the door while still under the shade of the canopy. She wore a deep brown fur on her top half, cut in a sloppy fashion, straps going over her shoulders connecting at the back of her neck, while the skirt stopped a few inches above her navel, with a round neckline. Her only other piece of clothing was a matching fur sash over her front under her belly, as the rest of her bottom half was covered in a light brown fur. Around her waist she wore a leather belt, with a small pouch hanging from the left side, and a small dagger on the other. Her actual weapons were stashed back in her room. Her golden hair was down, a tattered mess of healthy hair. There was two braids; one draping over her shoulder from the back, the other on the opposite side from her horns down. Her beautiful horns sat roughly in her hair, strands of it tied around the horns themselves. Only a little of her bangs even dared to fall in her face, which had bits of paint on it, like her tribe used to do during holidays. She was trying to come to terms with how people worked in this world, and she was told another holiday was coming soon, so she thought she would try and be understanding about it.
Leaned against this wall, she saw various people go about their day as the slums hit its daily rush. People bustling about to get things done, or stumbling out of taverns completely sloshed and ready for bed. There were all kinds of people- none of which she knew. Iris had been leaning against this wall when the first round of guards hustled through this street, so she found it rather odd when a lone guard shuffled down the street, stopping every so often to take in her surroundings. What was even more odd, was that it wasn't the first time Iris had watched it happen. This poor human seemed to lose her tribe often, always having to catch up on her own. She looked so tired all the time too. Out of curiosity, Iris pushed herself off of the wall she'd been perched against and trotted over. Hey. Lady. You lost? She nodded her head to her, keeping her arms at her sides to show no danger- after all this chick was a guard. The last thing Iris needed was to be arrested right now.

Louie looked up at the sky, midday, no big other than it was the broad daylight… He stood on top of a local shop in the third district, His ruby eyes taking in his surroundings, time, and licked his thumb to check the direction of the wind. North. Louie approached the edge of the roof top to stand on looking at the street below. The usual hustle of Nova’s city life. Everyone paying attention to their own shit and not giving a damn about their surroundings. Or at least that is what Louie believed as he watched from his perch.
He wore the traditional Black Dagger attire. The black and red boiled leather get up that made it easy for him to sneak about the roof tops with ease, his face covered with a full face mask that was half sorrow/half laughter emotions. Lucky he stood in a blind spot to get a better view of the streets joining roads. He could see at least four parts of the third districts major streets. However only one street had his full attention.
A group of guards had passed, which meant the patrol round was over. Or at least that is what he had counted on sense his scouts had reported the guards routes to him earlier that morning. Louie smirked as he watched the guards walk on by, unaware of his own crew that hid among the crowd and surroundings. These Fated brats were resourceful he had to give them that. He reached into his side pouch to pull out a small round mirror. Holding the small shiny metal up to allow it to reflect the code down to his underlings below.
With the signal given six, small bodies went into action and weaved through the open crowds of civilians. They were children, none looked over the age of 15. Their bodies cloaked in robes and their movements uncannily quick, dodging through the taller adults. Their hands small and nimble enough to sneak into pockets and purses un-noticed. The group was sweeping the area, acting fast not knowing when someone would notice their belongings missing.
The group of thieves headed down the street and cut over to another one quickly, Louie following on the roof tops to keep track and watch for any potential danger. When the group cut the next road over, Louie noticed the unexpected guard wondering in the streets that was accompanied by a satyr. This was not part of the plan, Louie whistled to alert the group of the potential threat of the guard that was approaching two out of the six young rogues. The first child rogue very casually and carefully running past, bumping into the satyr to try and pick pocket some coin from the half goat. Meanwhile the other young rogue decided to pull something brave, The boy would attempt to steal the guards coin purse. All while his partner distracted them with his sudden run in with the satyr.

Damn, Damn, Damn! This wasn't the right way either! Rachel pouted her bottom lip and kept walking forward through the crowds. She was too distracted to notice anything out of the ordinary. Her focus was heavily more on looking for any signs of the guard. However, she only walked a couple of more feet before a voice called out to her and asked if she was lost. The poor girl froze in her steps, her body ridged for a second at the sudden questioning of where she was at in location. Of course she was lost, but she wasn't going to admit that!
" Nnoo-noo?! I'm not..." Rachel turned around placing both her hands on her hips to act more authoritative in her current situation, but when she turned around and looked down at the owner of the voice....Rachel blinked. What in the world? Rachel blinked some more rather confused at what she was looking at. She had horns! An goat legs! She was absolutely ADORABLE!! Mylee you glorious bastard coming up with more beautiful beings every day! What ever the hell this girl was, Rachel's body posture changed to be more relaxed. Her expression becoming more open and clearly fascinated at what stood before her. " I'm-mm sorry. I mean yes, I am lost. I know that sounds strange, but I swear its because this place is like a maze! " She lifted her arm to scratch the back of her head, her voice sounding some what nervous now. " Please don't tell anyone. I just need help finding my troop before I get scolded."
A shiver went up Rachel's spine at the very thought; Her cheeks taking on a pink hue for a couple of seconds while she played out the scenario in her head with vivid imagery. Though thankfully she could blame it on the heat of walking in this heavy suit. Rachel smiled at the goat-girl? Still not sure what she was ,but the more the stared the more she wanted to just reach out and at least touch her horns to see if they were real. However, the urge would have to wait.
Rachel blinked at the sight of the boy who bumped into the Satyr, his mannerisms rather odd and better yet; She hadn't noticed the other boy who had came up behind her too. She couldn't even feel his little sneak thief fingers as he cut her coin purse from her belt. The weight difference registering in her brain as something off. Had she dropped something? Rachel reached down to pat at her side unconsciously while she watched the other boy who began running off. Her hand sliding over her belt, now noticing the lack of a wallet that she had a when she left the barracks this morning. Panic quickly shot across her features and Rachel locked eyes with Iris for a moment. " Check your belongings!" Rachel blurted jerking her attention to the direction where the boys ran. They couldn't have gotten far. " HEY YOU!! THAT'S MINE, YOU THIEVES! " Rachel cried out shouting over the people. " That's all the money I have; I won't be able to eat without it." She pouted, not fully aware that she was talking to herself aloud again.

Iris cocked an eyebrow as the facial expressions shifted on the woman. She took a hesitant step back not sure if she would have to defend herself or something. It is kind of like a maze, don’t worry. Though this is not the first time I’ve seen you lose your group. Iris sighed. I won’t tell anyone, but if I remember the route right, they should be reaching the end of third in a few minutes, so we might want to hurry up. Iris nodded, calculating the guard route in her mind from what she remembered.
Because she was distracted doing so, she didn’t feel or hear tiny hands unlatching her leather coin purse from her hip, a total of 50 noruvians inside it. When Rachel yelled, Iris looked down, swearing. When she yelled “thieves” Iris cursed again. I know you’re a guard, but that is the last thing you yell in a place like this! Iris scolded, looking around as a crowd started forming from the commotion. From what she’d heard there had been many disasters in this city recently, leaving it shaken up and nearly broken. Not a good place to yell about stealing, especially for a lone guard. Follow me! Iris yelled, grabbing her arm and taking off in the direction the boy went.
