Sima really didn't give her any chance to respond after she managed to catch up with him. His words gave her quite a bit to think about and so she headed home with a strange and unfamiliar feeling. When Roxanne got back home, she fixed herself a bowl of the stew Sima had made, eating quietly and thinking. The fire in the hearth was still going. The crackling of the flames and the noises of the night were the only sounds. Usually, it was quite peaceful but tonight it just made this strange feeling worse.
Roxanne was bothered by the whole exchange but part of her didn't care and she tried hard to focus on that. What did it matter to her if Sima had morals and she didn't? He was so complicated! She couldn't tell if he hated himself because he was a demon and so had developed morals and human behavior to counter that, or if he was proud and accepted himself the way for what he was. She supposed it could be both. She wasn't sure where she stood personally anymore, for that matter. He had said that without morals, he was a monster. Roxanne didn't really have morals, as least as far as sex and her body were concerned. She knew right from wrong, though, and strove to stay on the good side though she had to admit, some of methods were questionable. Did that make her a monster?
She didn't really think so, personally. She worked hard to be a good person. She'd spent her youth hunting demons that caused trouble and eventually added bandits of all kinds to her list. So she had a few quirks, like being super casual about sex and torturing some of her bounties a bit, and enjoying killing things. Roxanne frowned. But she was a good person, right? She hunted people that had done bad things, and creatures that were out of control. Perhaps this was why Rivers had asked her not to. Maybe he knew something she didn't about herself.
Roxanne sighed and proceeded to clean up her dishes, washing them carefully in her sink before putting them on the drying rack. Thinking about Rivers just made her downright depressed, not something she was used to and it weighed heavily on her. It had been a long time since she'd actually cared about anyone other Aria. Sima was the first person she'd kissed, or really shown any affection to, since Rivers and that he'd turned her down was a bit upsetting. Hell, he cried and ran away from her and then told her he was a monster for not having morals. The half demon winced a little. The memory of it stung and she hated all these feelings.
The half demon reached into her cabinet, pulling out the bottle of wine from earlier and uncorking it. She downed half the bottle’s contents in the next few minutes, only slightly disappointed that it didn’t burn as much as the whiskey. Ingesting so much alcohol in such a short time would make her tipsy rather quickly, which is what she wanted. Roxanne sighed in relief as the wine began to numb her mind and the annoying thoughts stopped. She took the bottle upstairs, setting it on her bedside table, and climbing into bed where she dozed lightly, twirling a few strands of her red hair, and humming quietly to herself.

It had been thus far an intriguing night for Sima. To say the least, he was smashed. He was now carrying with him a few bottles of assorted liquor that he had grabbed from Lua Azul, his Restuarant. "You up!?" To be honest his alcohol content was so high he couldn't quite remember what ended up happening with Lilith, at least for the time it was something he wanted to keep his mind off of. It was true to say that he was still in love with her, and he couldn't really hide that from anyone, could he? He looked at one of the bottles in his hand and quickly tossed it at Roxanne's door. He was far too intoxicated to run to it and did not want wait for any sort of response.
However what to Sima was a light toss, quickly appeared to be a hefty throw as the bottle whipped through the air much faster than Sima had anticipated. It shattered on impact as it hit the door, making a large shattering noise, accompanied by a just as loud splash. It was a full bottle.
"Sorry!" Sima yelled afterwards, as if it somehow made up for the intrusion, and then he made it to the door.
Feeling a slight pain he looked down, noticing his bare feet with many glass shrapnel now in them. "When did I lose my shoes?" He huffed lightly, so intoxicated that the pain didn't seem too bad. He bent over and began picking out the shards of glass.

Roxanne heard the sounds of something crashing through the underbrush around her cabin. Normally, this wouldn't cause her any sort of alarm but this time, the sounds were quickly followed by a male voice yelling. It sounded rather like Sima but surely he hadn't come back already?
The half demon stumbled out of bed, leaving the now empty bottle of wine on her bedside table. At some point in the night, she had lost most of her clothes and so now she muttered a curse under her breath and quickly dug about in her dresser. It was dark in the cabin, the fire having died down, but she could see well enough. She pulled on a basic black tunic over her underthings, it brushed her thighs and she called that good, being that she was still on the edge of being drunk.
Having settled that, the red head made her way carefully downstairs, cringing and covering her ears as a loud something smashed against her door. It sounded oddly like a bottle and was followed quickly by an apology. Roxanne sighed, a crooked smile settling on her face. She opened the door to find Sima, sans shoes, picking glass out of his feet from the, yes it was a bottle, that he had thrown at her door. How odd.
"Sima, are you ok? What are you doing here?" Roxanne asked, sounding alarmed. She assisted the demon in hauling himself and his cargo inside, carefully setting the bottles on the table and him in a chair. Then, she tossed some logs in the fire place, lighting that with a snap of her fingers. Turning to her cabinets, she dug out a lantern and set it on the table as well. She rubbed her fingers together, producing a small flaming butterfly which settled into the lantern and brought it to life.
Satisfied, Roxanne shifted her shape into her full demon form before settling herself into the chair and motioning for Sima to put his feet in her lap. In this form, her nails were longer which would make pulling out the glass a lot easier. She waited quietly for him to answer her questions.

Sima's eyes were locked onto Roxanne's body. He directly found her attractive, although this time, it wasn't the reason for his staring. His eyes were engaged in combat against her body because of what she was. Roxanne was a demon, or at least a half-demon, just like him. What made them different, though? Sima whispered under his breath, loud enough however for Roxanne to hear. His body seemed locked into a dominating position of the room, once again trying to gain the attention of the individual in the room.
"Roxanne, I hate to be a bother to you tonight. However, I must ask for your assistance. I realize that I have been very loopy, and back and forth. However, what I choose now will not be changed, and my mind and determination will not be swayed."
Sima looked at her purple eyes curiously.
He followed to where she pointed him to sit and sat down appropriately.
"I have decided that it would be in my best interest to stay with you tonight. Either physically, or simply mentally. You look as though you could use some company too." Sima sniffed the air lightly.
"I can offer you warmth, company, and many other things. In return you could offer me.. peace of mind" Sima looked at her curiously.
"The only other thing I would need from you, is if you would answer me a single question." Sima seemed to be quite ignorant of his surroundings, the glass shards, or even Roxanne's reaction to what he was proposing.
"Do you think I could ever be forgiven for murdering children?" Roxanne's opinion became important because of alcohol, and a feeling as if he was wasted his time in trying to fix all of his sins.
Sima wished he had someone else to talk about this with, but Roxanne was the only one he felt even slightly comfortable with tonight, even if it was only because of her race.
Sima certainly seemed to be on a death wish tonight.

Roxanne stared as Sima as he stared at her body, wondering what on earth he was thinking. She hadn't expected to see him again for a few days, at the very least, after the earlier incident. His whispered words caught her off guard and her face softened, the human part of her could not resist a request for help.
"It's alright Sima. You are more than welcome to stay as long as you need to and you don't have to apologize for earlier What do you need assistance with, exactly?," she replied, though she knew he hadn't, at least in so many words. She was glad now that she had replaced her wooden bench with the large, deep purple couch since it seemed that Sima would be staying, at least for the night, and she remembered his earlier words.
Roxanne wasn't quite sure what he meant about his choices, though she figured he'd finish his thought soon enough. She was glad when he followed her and allowed her to being working the glass shards out of his feet with her now long nails. Her black wings remained carefully folded against her back and her tail rested along the floor. His next words caught her off guard, once again, and she looked up from her work, staring at him in surprise. "How would I grant you peace of mind?" she questioned, instead of accepting immediately. She was sorely tempted, she'd had sex for less helpful or honorable reasons, and the look in her eyes would give that away. "At the very least, I will not make you sleep on the couch, if you do not want to. It has been quite some time since anyone shared my bed and I quite miss the warmth" she said, smiling. Even if they didn't do anything, it would be nice to sleep with someone. She enjoyed that, though it was a rare occurrence.
Roxanne's look became more guarded as Sima mentioned that he did require her to answer something first. She wasn't sure she wanted to know what kind of question keep a man like Sima up at night, drinking. So when he finally asked it, Roxanne was surprised. She considered the question carefully, determining that she didn't have enough information. "That depends, why did you murder children?" she asked, curiously, as if the why of it mattered. Perhaps Sima would find his answer in that alone, but it was her logical and demon side that asked. She'd met strange and dangerous children before, so she didn't think it was unreasonable.
