APPEARANCE: Roland is a tall dark haired man with short yet shaggy dark hair and slim, but slightly muscled frame. He often has a bit of stubble and his eyes are bright amethyst, reflecting his heritage. Roland has a strong jaw, deep set eyes, and a ashen complexion, despite naturally tan skin giving him a somewhat unnatural appearance that causes him to seem intimidating despite his lack of bulk.Roland often wears black and is usually seen carrying a staff. He tends to wear wide brimmed hats, which he angles down to help cover his unnatural eye color.
PERSONALITY: Roland is aggressive and action oriented by nature he will almost never stand by while something he disagrees with takes place and he often seeks stability even in the most chaotic of situations.

BIOGRAPHY: Roland was born from a union of the nobleman Seth Walker and Caster. His father did not know of his existence for a long time since Caster did not give him to Seth and instead chose to leave him with the city guards. As such he was raised by the guards of Nova, though they always knew something was unique about him, both due to the color of his eyes and the fact that he manifested a talent for magic at a very young age. As a teenager he would go on patrols with the guards and as a result has become very familiar with the streets of the kingdom. This also instilled in him a great respect for order and the law which has brought him into conflict with several “fated” who are often ignorant of, or ignore the law. When his father finally did learn of him, he was disowned from the family, but he still keeps the last name, mostly because he views it as his.
Roland is aware of his heritage, but independently also holds Caster in high respects as a deity. Roland loves magic and believes it is a great gift that humans and Dova alike can use it, because of this belief he does not like the other members of the pantheon who exiled Caster for bringing magic to the world, and he often reacts very poorly to Caster’s name being slandered or slights to his mother herself.
As he grew older Roland eventually took a job with the king, working as a mage and enforcer for the court and to uphold the law. He also does some teaching at the magic academy, and he has recently been studying alchemy.
