Leon was stuck in the carriage for most of the trip, when he was free he would focus on his bow as the people guards accompanying him would check the area and give the horses a rest. Leon would go around wanting to practice his shooting but knowing the roads could be dangerous was urged by the guards to not do anything to draw attention to himself, After about 12 days of this Leon was almost at his breaking point of being unable to do anything. Knowing he needed to at least reach Nova before he could do anything he held himself back as he repeated the same routine day after day until he was informed they would be reaching Nova as the sun began to rise. Excited that he would be able to get off of this carriage and actually walk around like a normal person again the Count had an interesting plan.



As the Carriage past the city entrance and reached close to the castle, waiting until the carriage past the guards, leon made his move and somehow managed to sneak out of the carriage without alerting anyone. Wandering the area in search of a training grounds he managed to find it along with the stables, Leon causally walked in and looked for a few archery targets putting them in a plus sign on the side. Realizing people would start coming he decided to begin shooting as he found a few quiver of arrows which he decided to borrow.



Notching the first arrow on his beloved bow while standing about 250 meters back though knowing it was an easy shot for him it seemed to be the longest average rangers could shoot. So releasing the first arrow he quickly grabbed another one shooting it clockwise ending with the middle one last he shot 5 consecutive arrows which all hit dead center of the target which took around 20 seconds “hmm I got a bit rusty “ Leon muttered to himself though those close enough to him would be able to hear him. Moving back a bit to about 275 meters, Leon repeated the same act letting whomever wished to watch him do so, having a fun time shooting arrows nonstop he finally took three arrows and notched them aiming at the 3 vertical targets he shot them and watched as all three arrows pierced through the previous arrows before hitting their marks. Relaxing and smiling Leon was glad he was able to shoot as many as he did as he looked around at the people watching before moving towards the supply storage and putting the quiver back down and looked around. Wondering if he made too much of a scene.

Yuki had heard that a count from Palico was going to be arriving that day and staying in the castle, from the way some of the females fluttered around it was most likely male and those were not promised were all ready to try and land a rich husband. Shaking off those thoughts she continued on her way to the training grounds she was going to use the gates there to head towards the first district for an early morning walk instead of getting all caught up in the commotion.


As she walked she pulled her cloak around her tighter hiding most of her dress. It was a simple blue dress with two layers the inner layer a baby blue while the outer layer was more of a royal blue shade, the top had a few blue ruffle ringlets with light blue sleeves with a little bit of sparkle because of the material used. Overall with her hood up she could pass for a wealthy commoner since at the moment she didn't look like a Lady thanks it not too many people had bothered her.


Finally reaching the stables she saw a young man with red hair in the training ground, based on how is was dress he wasn't a guard nor did he look like anyone she seen in the castle before. Not sure who he was she kept to the shadows a little bit watching him until she couldn't take it anymore picking up a small bit of snow making a snowball she threw it at him.

Leon continued to look around the training grounds as he decided he was finished, walking away from the storage he suddenly got hit with something that crumbled on contact. While reaching over to see what it was he realized someone threw a snowball at him remembering his position and where the snowball hit he looked at the direction that it was thrown  who threw a snowball at me? he said normally, as he looked at all the people just staring or training in that direction he noticed someone odd it was a person in a cloak.



As leon was wondering why a person threw a snowball at him he looked around just a bit to see if people were still staring at him, noticing some was still looking at Leon wondering who he was, while others walked over to the targets he set up and looked at all the arrows stuck in the center like they were drawn there, some of the arrows actually split the shaft of the previous one before and actually stuck to the arrowhead.



Leon wondering who the person in the cloak was, walked to the person and stared a bit did you throw that snowball at me? Leon asked the person as he realized by the figure that it was most likely a female.

Smiling brightly that her snowball hit she covered her mouth as she watched the redhead look around trying to find who threw it. When she notice that he was looking at her she gave a small wave as she watched him head toward her. Looking around she kept in mind where all the guards were in case this person was dangerous after all he was close to the castle and with the newest noble coming to stay within the castle.



Eyeing the man she took note of him being taller than her, his eyes based on the way the light was hitting them almost reflected the same colour as her own. Other than that nothing much was impressive about the male well other than his skills with a bow which was amazing on its own but it wasn't enough for her to overlook that he wasn't to be in this part of the castle. Placing her hands on her hips she looked him in the eye as best as she could. "Sir you are not to be in this part of the castle. Don't you know that only those who work and live in the castle are allowed on the training grounds? Commoners are not allowed here and today in particular." Sighing heavily before speaking again. "Are you trying to get yourself thrown in the dungeon?" She asked him as she tapped her foot waiting for a responds.

Looking at the girl as she speaks he was holding back a grin as much as possible since it didnt seem she was a soldier of sorts but maybe another noble. Leon hoped that it wasn’t the case as he was still to meet Noku soon with his letter looking at her he responded “ Sorry i didn’t know the training grounds was restricted where im from the training grounds is used by anyone who can wield a weapon. And why today of all days? Is something happening?” Leon said with a smirk realizing it was probably about him as he started talking. “ I hope i don’t end up in the dungeon I have to meet the king later today.” Leon smiles as he said that trying to hold back his laughter.



Holding his laughter while looking at the girl he had noticed she wasn’t half bad looking though she probably be seen moreso as cute then hot, it seemed that she lived here for quite sometime with the way she spoked.

Yuki stared at the man wondering where he was from cause surely if he lived in Nova or any of the villages that are run by the nobles of Nova then he would have known that the training grounds at the castle was off limits in a sense. Sighing as she just shaken her head this boy yes he was a boy not even worth to be called a man in her eyes was going to make her need an extra cup of tea later that day. "Look first wipe that smirk off your face it makes you look ugly. Second if you must know today a nobleman from Palico is coming to stay at the castle. All of the noblewomen who doesn't have a betrothed yet are hoping to land the new noble to either raise their status or become richer."



Sighing she almost wanted to slap man his attitude wasn't helping either. Hearing him mention that he had to meet the king later she put two and two together this was the nobleman from Palio that everyone was going gaga about. She almost wanted to facepalm since there was still nothing impressive about him still even though she now knows his true identity. "Well, then I pray the king doesn't mind finding his new court member in the dungeons on his first day."



Taking off her hood feeling hot, she let her blonde hair flow free in a gentle breeze that was blowing. "Next time you should just stay in the carriage like a proper noble and head the castle gates not sneak into the training ground to play with arrows." Then again she did similar things like sneaking out of the castle it was had accused her kidnapping just back in fall and now she was telling someone that they shouldn't be sneaking out and act like a proper noble when she barely did that herself. She swears it was like the Gods themselves were testing her by showing her the error of her ways though another noble. "Anyway, do you, need someone, to show you the way main gates where you are meant to meet Noku."

Leon looked at the girl while wondering why she was so hostile for a bit before brushing it off “ hmm I don't see a need to look for companionship at the moment, and anyways though I'm a noble I'm not the heir so it would be pointless for others to try courting me for material things since I won't be inheriting it.” leon said with a somewhat happy tone knowing he wouldn't have been capable of handling it anyways. And that it would get in the way of his archery.

“mhm I hope that's not the case, I'd wonder how I'd explain that to my father if I ended up in the dungeon on the first day, and staying in a carriage from Palico to nova is extremely boring especially when you can't move around much besides from the occasional stretches and breaks for food” leon said dully. He looked at the girl wondering if she was having a bad day or something or that maybe all nobles in nova was similar to her “ mhm I don't at the moment, I'd figure it would work out in the end when the guards realize I'm not in the carriage.” leon smiles putting his hands and bow behind his head as he looked up towards the sky“but besides that I haven't heard your name yet”

"It doesn't matter if you are not the first born it's your title they want. Plus they are the only child of they female with no male heirs you would gain their land through marriage." Giving the boy another look over, from head to toe knowing that with his pretty looks women and some men might try to find a way into his pants. "Then if you are not looking for companionship then it's best you learn the court and make friends who don't want to get into your bed."



Shaking her head at boy explained that it was boring to sit in the carriage she wasn't going to deny that but honestly he could have done what she did. Travel by horseback the whole trip it would have been faster and he would have gotten fresh air and been able to stretch. "You know you guards must be worried about you. You might not care but they are most likely running around this city worried sick that something might have happened to you. After all, it is their job to look after you." She said again remembering that she did similar things from running away on horseback or sneaking away from her guard while in town to go looking at clothes.



"You know a proper gentleman would give his name first." Dropping into a low curtsy as she watched him with his hands behind his head deciding to be polite. "If you must know a ladies name first, you may call me Yuki."

Leon looked at the girl as she was explaining some basic things to him “ mhm I wouldn't mind the land but I'm no ruler, I would rather have time for practicing archery and for hunting game instead of being a nobel”. Leon said as he began to spin his how slightly in small circles. “yeah I'll have to find some people to talk to. It would be difficult to live peacefully without knowing others afterall”



As leon started pulling on the bow string he looked at her “ maybe so. But it wouldn't be the first something like this happened, they know I'll return on time.” leon continued to listen to the girl named yuki as he stated his name “ my name is Leon Jaeger, I just arrived here from Palico and I prefer archery over almost everything. Im also not a proper gentleman, as you can tell. If you wish to speak to one you could try my brother”Leon said in an almost sarcastic tone as he looked at the Yuki “Anything else you'd wish to know yuki?”



Afterwards Leon started looking around wondering what he would do now, obviously it didnt seem like this girl would leave him alone either maybe she was the one who wanted to court him but he dared not say it keeping his mouth shut he just waited to see what she was going to say.

Yuki watched him for a moment before her eyes turn to the sky noticing that she wouldn't be able to make her way house hunting and still be back in time to look over the new trade reports that would be on her desk. Plus she didn't have Hawkeye with her at the moment and still no horse so the walk would take longer than she wanted.



Her eyes landed back upon the boy once he introduces himself and that comment about if she wished to speak with a proper nobleman. Doing her best not to roll her eyes she lifted her hand pointing in the direction that she would be heading to in a few moments. "Go that way then make a right once you get to the large windows that look over a garden, then from there turn left at the next doorway and you would be in the front courtyard where King Noku would be waiting for you, Lord Leon." She said his name sarcastically before turning heels heading towards the direction that she just pointed out to him. "Also hurry up, one doesn't keep a king waiting." She called over her shoulder as she pulled her hood back up, knowing that she would have to stop by the kitchen and have a pot of peppermint tea prepared for her to help calm her down after meeting that guy.

Leon stared at Yuki as she started giving him directions on how to get to the king, to his confusion though she put her hood back up and started walking the exact way she told him. Thinking that maybe it was her way of telling him to follow her he started walking behind Yuki “ Thanks for taking me to the King, perhaps were you ordered to find me?” Leon looked at the back of Yuki wondering what was going to happen now with a grin “ But you know, if you were ordered to find me was it a wise idea to throw that snowball at me earlier? I mean you could had just walked up and asked Yuki, but either way you're a lifesaver though it may have been unnecessary it did save me a lot of time” Leon continued to talk as he walked behind the girl wondering if she was now ignoring him.
