Double Bubble [Nyx and Selkiris]

[Nyx]

“Well, of course, I question the story of a creature from the void itself how else am I going to learn if I don’t ask questions. Also, second if you assume I am his subject, remember I came from a world where all divine beings from other worlds and time own sections of land.” She said as she stuck her tongue out accidently licking Selkiris’s cheek causing her cheeks to take on a pink tint.


Hearing the Ancient One calling them children for bickering she still disagreed with being all a puppet but for now she was going to have to deal with it for now. Mentally she nodded her head as he answered the question that she had voice though she did blush a bit more when he said he knew about her interest in Selkiris. 'I used to work for Zeapy but since coming to this world my role is not the same as before. I am not his champion in this world only another fated who knows that death is not to be feared since it part of life. Sorry for interrupting the story.'

[Selkiris]

Selkiris jumped, a small blush on his face when Nyx had licked his cheek. He definitely wasn't expecting that of all things to happen. He merely sighed and tired to forget about it. "She is a strange one master. That I guarntee. But I guess she could be worse." Selkiris said outloud. He hoped she didn't take that as a challenge. He quickly responded mentally to his master, trying to get back to the story as fast as possible. I believe you were just about to get to the uprising master. When the Great One tried to take the throne. This was the part of the story Selkiris was most knowledgble in. His tome had described this event in great detail.

[The Ancient One]

Altizica laughed at the two. They were both strange in their own way and he loved it. Yes thank you Selkiris. The rebellion. Now Rey quickly became consumed with the power he had gotten. His inner desires took over and he lusted for only one thing. The throne. He wished to rule Nova himself as he saw that the most powerful should rule and that he was the strongest. Rey began to summon entire armies of abysmal creatures to fight for him and in turn the King of Nova responded with his own troops. Villages burned, countless died. The gods were disgusted and horrified with what Rey had done. The gods decided they could only to one thing, they cursed him to the place he drew his power on for all eternity, the Abyss. Altizica gave an unsettling chuckle after that. The rest....well the rest of the story is Rey transforming in the abyss from his hatred of the gods. He turned into what is now know as The Great One, the first Abysmal Emperor and the first abomination.

[Nyx]

Nyx raised an eyebrow when Selky said that she was strange. “Would you prefer if I was worse cause I could be if it’s your cup of it Selky.” She said in an overly honey-sweet voice that would send shivers down the back of any sane person. Just to get a rise out of him she licked his cheek again, she debated on commenting on how he tasted but decided to save it for another time since the story was being continued. Listening rest of the story of the rise of the Great One it was an informative tale but she would need to fact check it later if there was any book out there that would have the information. ‘Well thank you for the story Ancient One… I’m gonna call you AC-Sama for short if that is okay?’ She asked the Ancient One while still being respectful.


“Well Selky now that story time is over we should finish our lovey dovey bath then you can walk me home. Can you sit up so that I can wash your back.” She said as untangle her arm from Selkiris and climbed out the hot spring and grabbed one of the bottles and poured the liquid into her hands.

[Selkiris]

Selkiris jumped again when Nyx gave another lick. "Yes no please. This weird is fine thank you." Selkiris had a disturbing smile on his face when the story continued, he actually really enjoyed this story. Yes thank you master. I am honored you could grace us with your visit just to tells us that story. Selkiris quickly said what seemed to be just a jumble of letters before giving a bow of the head.

Selkiris sat up as asked from Nyx. It was best to just get this over with and take her home. There was really no escape. "Yes well let's just do this and go. This is uncomfortable in many ways." Selkiris was absolutely serious, he found this as one of the most uncomfortable things he has had to do in at least the last ten years.

[The Ancient One]

As suddenly as Altizica appeared, he vanished, not even answering Nyx's question or to respond to Selkiris's thanks. He had done what he wanted and he wasn't sticking around anymore. He gave a soft chuckle as his chains seemed to tighten when he tried to move. "Soon. Soon these restraints won't hold me. Soon my power shall return. I shall take my throne once more. I didn't start this, but if the gods want a war. Well they are going to get a war." Altizica's laugh slowly became quieter, but as it did so it also got rather sadistic. Let the party begin.

[Nyx]

“You know you can at least present to like it. It’s not every day I give a bath to a male.” Nyx said knowing very well that if given the chance she would since baths are relaxing and nothing is hidden from another. Slowly she started to rub some of the soap onto his back, her fingers working out any knots she found from stress as she transitions into a light massage. “You know the Ancient One is interesting. Though something about his voice reminds of something but I might be over thinking things.” She said as she continued to massage Selkirk's back.

[Selkiris]

"Yes I am so lucky." Selkiris said blandly. He just wanted to get this over with. Every second longer was a better chance for something either rather embarrassing or something just downright annoying to occur. He wouldn't lie though, she was certainly good at this. "I must admit you are rather good at this. Did someone teach you this?" He could just feel weeks of stress and chaos just melting away as she massaged. "Oh really? Well please tell me what it reminds you of. I'm sure this will be quite entertaining." Selkiris said with a small grin on his face.

[Nyx]

“You are lucky you know. Since the last guy, I did this for ended up with frozen balls.” Nyx said laughing at the memory. Though looking back, she wondered how everyone was doing since it been forever since she saw them. All minus Aria she saw her during a quest a while back but still, it was a while ago. “No one taught me this. You see baths are used for bonding where I’m from. So, I learnt how to help my teammates relax.” She continued until she got all the knots out, knowing that even if Selky was her enemy that he deserved to relax and stress-free even for a for a few moments.


“If you must know but it reminds me of a teacher I had that taught the dark magic classes.” A light blush rose to her cheeks that she was thankful that she was behind him so he didn’t see it. “It also reminds me of a boy I had a crush on. He was from an enemy kingdom so it was a one side crush for all I know.” During that moment, she thought about how the boy and Selky had that in common that they from the other side of the track that it was almost forbidden if she decided to let the feelings bloom. “I guess the darkness in others is attractive for some odd reason.” She said more to herself than anything.

[Selkiris]

"I see. What is it like, where you are from. From what I remeber many gods exist there, surely that has to give some serious religious conflict. The one thing deadlier than human wants is clashing regions." Selkiris gave a sigh of relief as the knots were taken out. He felt much calmer than normal, much more relaxed. "Well he is sort of like that. A teacher He teaches me much about the abyss." Selkiris laughed at Nyx's mention of her crush and the attractiveness of darkness. "An interesting choice in boys you have don't you? Darkness normally is more appealing, in the dark no one can see who you truly are, you can let your inner wants shine. A beautiful lie, but also a disgusting truth. My master once told me the abyss was where the first star was birthed and the last star shall die, obviously not true but it made me think. No matter how much we try to fight it. The darkness will always be there, waiting, watching, laughing as time goes." 

[Nyx]

“There is always fighting. Days of peace are rare but even with all the fighting everyone continues going about they everyday life like wasn't blasting of magic overhead.” She said as a smile graced her face since she was trained to fight in those magically battles then frowned when she remembered that she couldn’t since she was no longer in her world. “I miss seeing magic being used everywhere compare to here where it seems like magic are scared to use to magic.” She said honestly wondering what could have cause people to fear using magic when in her world magic was accepted and those with magic were valued highly. “If given the chance would you want to visit my world Selky?”


Nyx climbed back into the water as the chill of the night air started to get to her. As soon as she was in the water she sighed happily from the warmth. “I’m glad you didn’t laugh when I told you he reminded me of a teacher of mine.” She did stick her tongue out at him when he laughed at her crush and her attraction to darkness in others. “Not my fault that darkness in others can be appealing. I mean what do you expect from someone born in a kingdom ruled by a God of Chaos. I don’t believe that is the reason I am attracted to darkness. I know the real reason why but I can never admit to myself nor would I admit it you.” She said as she closed her eyes pushing down the feelings why she like people who had a dark side.

[Selkiris]

Selkiris had to think for a moment. "I'm not sure if I would want to in all honesty. So many beliefs clashing it would all just be too much of a jumbled mess for me to handle but that's just my opinion." Selkiris only laughed when she tried to defend herself. "I'm not trying to say your wrong in your choice I'm just having a little fun, is that so bad?" Selkiris laughed hard. "Nyx have you ever had your inner darkness show? Like you were pushed to hard and just snapped? I certainly have. Though you already know that." Selkiris didn't snap very often but when the gods took his sister away from him, that was the hardest time he ever snapped. Selkiris was a whole different person when he lost it, but he wasn't going to bring that up.

[Nyx]

Nyx nodded her head respecting his answer to someone who was not use to her world it might be an overload of having so many different beliefs and cultures overlapping that it would be too much. “That's understood Selky but if you ever change your mind let me know. I would love to be able to show you where I come from.” Her voice still happy as she expressed her wishes for him to understand her a bit more in the future.


Hearing him laugh she just stuck her tongue out at him again. Though the question she asked she wasn’t sure how to answer it. Should she be honest and tell him it happened once when she in field training that someone caused her to become someone she wasn’t. If she did tell him the truth would he still see her in the say way or should she lie and make him believe that nothing has ever caused her to snapped and allowed her inner darkness to show. Looking into his eyes what she saw reflected a bit of her own inner turmoil. “Yes, I have.” Her voice for those few words lost all it happiness and turned dark and void of any emotion.

[Selkiris]

Selkiris was actually surprised when she's said yes. "O-Oh. I...didn't expect that answer. Honestly I thought you were a permanent happy optimist. I'm...sorry. " Selkiris said. He sat there quietly for a moment, just watching her. He didn't know what what to say, everything seemed to be suddenly quiet. "I think it is getting very late. Didn't you want me to walk you home Nyx?" [/color[ He didn't know what's he wasn't doing, he just felt obliged to walk Nyx home. He carefully got out of the springs and started drying himself, not even minding the bitter cold. When he was completely dry he put his clothes and robe back on. "Cmon we don't have all night. You really don't want to know what lurks around these places in the dark."
