It had only been a day since Yuki was called into Sage’s office, she had decided to skip class that day and spend it in one of the training grounds that wasn’t being used that day by another class. It took her some before she had targets set up, she had ask Professor Nyx if she could borrow her fans and was granted permission to do so.



Taking in deep breathes she spent half of the day in the training room, she would be summoning strong winds as she moved around the room with learnt grace. Her body doing bends and turns, hot tears were rolling down her eyes as she sent strong gust of it at times she swore that they looked almost like blades the way it wind seem to slide through the different targets creating deep marks on them. She was in her own little twister that would be pushing everything away from her but allowing her to keep attacking targets.



Her eyes for the first time seem to be glowing red making her look truly like a demon in that moment as she commanded the wind. Each flick of her wrist with the fan she sent out another ‘blade’ of air toward the target as they started to morph in her version, one had taken on the image of her mother with a whip in her hands surrounded by ice, another took on the image of the man that she had almost married he was in a suit with a collar and leash in his hands and the last one took on the image of Kyler the guy who’s eyes reminded her of her own yet his image had peice of paper in his hand with flames around him. All of her pent of emotions seem to just come out as she saw the targets not letting anything back she shifted the wind around her summoning her wind spheres sending each one at the different targets causing it to pick up dust.



Once all the dust cleared Yuki would be seen panting, her body visibly shaking, as the hot tears continued to roll down her cheek.

Adrain had been keeping a close eye on Yuki, at least as much as he could without crowding her out or making her uncomfortable. Sage did worry about her, but he completely understood why Yuki reacted how she did. This was a little above Sage's pay grade so to speak. He could sense her mana presence in one of the training rooms, entering it quietly. He was impressed at what he saw: Yuki was the eye of a storm, able to keep lashing out at targets. It was a lot of power, but it would drain her stamina quickly.

He would watch quietly, waiting for Yuki to get it out of her system. This may be the healthiest thing she's done since things went down days ago: get the stress out of the system, try to clear one's mind. Once she calmed down and had enough time to get her breath, he tapped his foot once and spoke softly.

"An impressive display of wind, multitasking the vortex shield with wind augmented strikes."

Yuki smiled a true smile the first time in days a small laugh escaped her since everything this was the most relaxing thing she done. Sometimes she wondered if her body knows what she needs before her mind does cause if she had known it would have done this days ago instead of going through motions that she had.



Hearing the sound of someone’s foot she turned to see maybe it was one of her professors coming to yell at her for missing all her morning class only to be surprised to see Adrain. Laughing a bit at the comment of it being an impressive display, she folded the fans she borrowed from Nyx. “It was nothing honestly, I don’t even know how I manage to do it.” Looking down at her hands she realized she shaking a bit, clamped her right hand down over her left to try and stop the shaking.

Adrain walks toward Yuki, his gaze catching the hand shaking. He raises a brow and kneels down, looking at her hand. The mana circuit was strained. "Be careful with that hand, give it a break for a bit if you keep going. Too much magic can still cause mana corruption even with your abilities and talents." he says softly, standing up and looking at her with a small smile.

"You're at the point of approaching true mastery of your wind magic. Your body now knows before your mind does and can enact your will. it reflects your storm of emotion from the past few days. Would it be untrue to say that you only now start to feel liberated and truly free and thus everything you had been forced to keep inside has been released?" he says then looking at Yuki.

"So is there anything specific you're working on, or is this just release? I can try to help."

Nodding her head understanding that she should take a break for now though she didn’t want to break just yet. Though she had a feeling if she tried to continue Adrain would stop her and make her take a break either way.



Taking in what Adrain said she couldn’t believe that she was approaching true mastery over her wind magic it seemed like it was ages ago that she had started to learn magic. “I feel better than I did in years to be honest. I guess body knew that I needed this after trying to remind strong dealing with everything that life seem to throw at me.”



Her eyes turned toward the tree canopy, most of the branches blocked out the sky to keep the school hidden. She remembered the clouds that she had saw and dreams that she been having as of late. “I was releasing all the stress but also… Nova needs me I’m going to Morgg plus” Smiling at Adrain. “I need to get away from all my problems for a bit before facing them.”

As Yuki said that she was going to Morgg, Adrain's smile twisted to a frown, but he nodded. "Well I can't say I like the idea of the young woman I want to adopt going to the mouth of hell, but you'd go anyway wouldn't you." he says as he then takes on a little more serious of a approach. He pulls a vial of Wisdom nectar out and hands it to Yuki before going a distance away from the girl in the room.

"Then I can teach you some things." he says as he then goes to hold a diagram of arcane mana near Yuki. "This is Concussive Blast...it's an air spell that compresses air into a point the size of a marble then explodes for a violent burst. For extra damage, you can overcharge a fire crystal and throw it in for an especially violent explosion due to the air." he says as he then begins to demonstrate. The air would grow thin for a moment as it seemed to be puled into a specific point, before it bursts in a single, powerful and loud explosion of air that forces even Adrain to brace to hold still.

“Well more… something is calling me to go to Morgg. Not Helena and whatever crazy plan is she is cooking up but something else…” Closing her eyes she tried to think of the best way to explain it, normally she would stay out of danger. Though this time she felt a draw telling her that is needed to go to Morgg she wasn’t a champion or anything but deep down she knew that she had to go even if it meant fighting though armed guards to leave the city. “I know that going on this quest will help me find something about myself that I felt was missing. I promise to be safe and come back alive.” Yuki gave him a warm reassuring smile that she would come back alive.



Taking the vial she closed her fingers around it, as she watched him walked away from her, she was a bit sad that was until she heard him say he was going to teach her a few things. Quickly brighten up she looked at the diagram that appeared near her. Nodding her head as she listened to him explained the spell, her eyes taking in all the information on the diagram. Feeling the air getting thinner she did her best to remind focus that was until air exploded her mind and body reacted instantly throwing up her air shield around her to block anything that might hit her as she pushed back away from her spot.

"I understand...even if I don't like it." he says as he then nods, giving Yuki a brief embrace of comfort, possibly for his own as well. "You better come back...I'll have to make you an emergency teleport before you go." he says. As the effects of the spell wear off, he looks at her hesitation and taps his chin thinking on how to handle it.

"Well...we can reduce the power, and increase the speed that might make it more workable for you. However I am confident you can do so. Granted, with your earlier exertion you may need to rest a bit beforehand since it's a high power spell. " he says, then thinking. "If we adjust the glyph this way..." he muses as he makes some small tweaks to the glyph, absentmindedly murmuring to himself while Yuki may have been watching.

"Though I could get you a stronger catalyst too to reduce the burden of channeling...that could make a difference." he says, then recalling the amplifier that Yuki was generally quite fond of.

Returning the embrace it was strange she never thought that she would have someone that would care if she returns back to Nova. It felt good to have someone care for her in the way that she had always dreamt of receive from her mother not just on her good days. “I promise to come back and is an emergency teleport necessary?”



“That might work… though I am not sure if I can master it. When I left the clouds were getting worst in the distance.” A small blush rose to her cheeks thinking about earlier though she was a bit thankful that she didn’t faint from over usage of magic like during her exam. “Rest would be good.” Tilting her head as she watched him little tweaks.



“Stronger catalyst like Miss Nyx staff and the amplifier that you gave me?” Smiling a bit thinking back to that night so long ago. If she had known that meeting Adrain would have caused all of these events to happen she wouldn’t mind doing it again.

"Well, why not give you an emergency teleport? Who knows what can happen out there, it'll just bring you back to the Arch which is preferable to you...dying." he says, looking at her, curious as to why she was hesitating at the idea of a backup teleport plan. He figured to make it as a pendant or bracelet, since Yuki as of the last time they spoke of similar things had an aversion to rings that he somehow doubted had really changed.

"Well even if its imperfect it might help you in a jam when you need raw power." he says then musing aloud. "What else to teach you...you know a storm technique, wind augmentation, flight, strong wind control...I suppose I could teach you Asphyxiation but that's a bit darker of a spell than you might like." he says, open to suggestion.

He nodded when Yuki inquired about the amplifier. 'Yeah, it's been on my todo list to make you a much stronger amplifier but I'll prioritize it after we're done here. Basically I'll give you a full array of High Potency wind crystals on a bracelet that connects to your middle finger through a chain that will drastically multiple your wind abilities. It'll allow much faster casting and expand your limits considerably while you use it."

“It’s just that you have given me so much already: introducing me to magic, training me so I can pass the exam, giving me a dress that is also armor and easy to fight in, reassuring me that nothing is wrong with me.” A few tears started to roll down her cheeks. “And for giving hope of a possible loving family home. I don’t think I deserve anything else even if it’s just something to keep her safe and alive.” By this point tears were in full bloom rolling down her cheeks, using the back of her hand she tried to wipe the tears away, she didn’t know why she was so emotional lately. It seemed that almost every small thing made her cry or become upset with rage and it never happened before to her.



After getting some of her crying under control it now has turned into soft hics as she listened to Adrain. “Um… maybe not asphyxiation I don’t think I could ever do that. Though maybe… I could use some help creating barriers or even learn better how to incorporate Zephyr into some of my existing spells.” Taking a seat on the ground, making sure that her dress are tucked under her, with her hands folded over her lap.



“Would I have to give you the current amplifier?” Looking down at her hands a little sad she had become attached to the amplifier though she had left at back in her room at the castle when she left home.

"And making an item to keep you safe and that investment secure is so much an ask" he says sarcastically, but when she got emotional he would approach her and embrace her until she calmed down, releasing her and then looking around calmly listening as she thought to think of using barriers or using 'Zephyr' which he could only assume it the name that she gave the elemental for purposes here.

"Barriers are essentially the same in principle, using tight and powerfully bonded mana to be able to deflect attacks. Element does matter when considering the effectiveness versus other elements. If you want to improve there, you need to draw more mana in your body and making the barrier with more energy but you also have a higher risk of Mana Corruption that way. The elemental might be able to help you channel a barrier on a higher level, have you even summoned it since you met it?" he says, then chuckling when she asked about the amplifier.

"Nah...you have an attachment to that one, and it's easier to make a new one at a higher level than modify an existing one that was made for newbie training."
