It had only been a few hours since he sold his clothes, he was able to get some commoner's clothes. The clothes would help keep the guard off his track for some time before his mother or that man. He shivered thinking about that man, bad enough he was a creepy old 40-year old guy but he was fat and smelly. He was pulled from his thoughts as he started to scratch, the clothes were uncomfortable but they would have to do for now till he gain more money to buy the clothes he was used to wearing.
Walking towards the Gallow's Inn he remembered the stories of Fated people coming to his world. It was then a plan came to his mind, maybe he could pull out this Fated thing. It's not like it was going to be hard for him to pretend that he was from another world, with all the stories he been told and read he could pull it off.
Taking a deep breath, he walked into the Gallow's Inn his nose wrinkling at the scents. These people smell as if some of them hadn't bathed in days, it was just horrible. Quickly going to find a spot away from the people, he sat down at a table. Taking some time his listen to the stories that seem to be flowing from the drunken people around him.
Sighing, loudly placing his head on the table. He couldn't do this, these people were savages he couldn't live here or even pretend to live here. He was different, from the way he walked, talked, act even sat. Looking at himself, he legs were crossed, with his hands on his lap back straight sitting like a true lady sticking out like a fish among sharks.

A loud creek could be heard from the doors as a long blond haired male walks in. He was wearing a heavy cloak due to the bitter cold of winter. But moved most of it away to show some odd clothing. It was not something that any tailor would have made. As well as the material it was made out of. He was wearing a odd piece of gear over his eyes. Over all one would peg this individual as a fated. He walks over to the bar and requests a few things. Gave a nod to one of the girls handling the kitchen as well as some of the liquors. Kail then gives a wink to the girl and gives her a few pieces of gold to hurry his order a bit. After that though he looks around for some place to sit.
As Kail did he spots a oddity as a peasant girl was sitting alone. But the stature she was in was that of a proper lady. Or someone with a high class upbringing. The blond walks over to Zane "Excuse me but do you mind if I take a seat here" he asked before sitting down. Zane would see that Kail did not give off a stench like the other men in the tavern. He smelled clean with a pleasant scent coming off of him.

Each time the door would open Zane look toward it wondering if it was one the guards having found him. Each time he saw it wasn't he would return his eyes back to his table, unlike the other occuptanes of the Inn he wasn't drinking more was he waiting for food to come to his table.
His eyes shifted toward the man that made his way towards his table. Giving him a look over it was clear that he was true fated person, from his clothes to the odd things he wore over it eyes. Zane closed his eyes for a moment, knowing that it was now are never that he see if could trick a fated person into thinking that he was fated himself.
Lifting his hand, with a graceful wave that could be compared to a princess he indicated that the seat was free. "We..." Quickly he stopped himself realising that he started using the royal we meaning me. "I don't mind, the seat is free after all." His hand resting back on his lap.
With the person before him, he was able to smell that he smelled clean compared to the other men. It was definitely one point that he had in Zane's book now. "May I ask what has brought you here at this time of day. Surely a young such as yourself would be out enjoying the city." He spoke as he shifted his body in a way upon receiving guest, with on leg careful tuck behind the other as his hands shifted to rest upon his knees, his attention fully upon the man before him.

Kail gives a nod of his head and sits down and sizes up the girl. "Looking for a quick bite to eat, and trying to find others from my world. Sometimes there sent here to the Gallows Inn for a free night" he said and was thinking. This girl was well mannered and on closer look was someone of the upper crust. A noble at least from the closer look but, something was slightly off about the girl. But the blond could not put his finger on it. "Where are your normal clothes? The ones that your wearing don't fit you" he said while trying to figure the girl out. If she was a run away he would totally understand her. Since before he was transported to this world. He, himself was running away from home. As Kail really hated his parents and wanted to live his own way. Instead of there wishes and become what they wanted.

Zane nodded understanding that food was one of the reasons that people came here. Upon hearing him confirm the rumors of the fated staying here for free for a night. Maybe if he played his cards right, he might be able to get a night free as well. Then again this place was always run by the Maiden of the Moon Temple one of them might know who he truly was.
Normal clothes, he now wondered if this person has seen him earlier when he was running in his wedding dress. He didn't want to go back home at least not right now with a marriage still over his head. His eyes harden if this person has truly come to take him back home then he wouldn't know for sure if he was Yuki. He could use that to his strength. "The clothes I normally wear are not fitting for this place. I simply sold them for something that makes me blend into the background."
He had to admit the stranger was right about one thing, these clothes were not for him. They itched, he had a feeling that by the end of the night his skin would be red from the clothes. Looking down at his clothes, pretending to see what was wrong with them on why they don't suit him. "I guess your right, these clothes don't suit me that well." Casting a smile. "But it's the best one can do when just arriving in this place."
"As for you. You haven't sold your clothes. I am sure the tailors here would love it, the style is so different from everything else I have seen and known. I am sure they would love to try and recreate it." He wasn't lying, the style of the clothes was truly different, maybe he could get some fabric together that didn't make him itch, he could have a tailor make something similar to it, in a dark red. "Your homeland, if you don't mind me asking. May tell what is it like?"

As Kail listened to the girl across from him and could not refute from trying to blend in. But he had the balls to keep his clothes and deal with it. Plus so far no one had came after him for being a fated. "Well....I had no money to blend in and I perfered wearing these clothes. There extremely durable and better fitting then some of the things I have seen. Plus the pockets are deep to hide a few things. I don't think they have the skills to replicate this material or texture" and smiled slightly and the girl's question about his world. He turns to see some food brought over on a plate. As well as a large bottle of wine. Since water would be contaminated by all kinds of things.
"Well....my world has no magic nor elves or other fantastical creatures except normal beasts. Like wolves, bears, and things of that nature. To make up for the fact we have no magic, technology is the key to success. We have knocked out most sicknesses to the point that the black plague is gone. There are buildings that reach all the way up into the sky almost scraping it. And being made out of metal and glass. There are many other things even grander then that" he said telling a bit of his world. Kail then sees that he has a bit more food then normal. Since it was a large bird with a knife and a large two pronged fork. Plus some roasted root vegies to go with the bird. "This might be a bit too much for me want a bit of this" he offered to the girl.

Zane listened to the man, she didn't know that the fated were not given money when they came to this world. It seemed like it was just bring them to a new world, like children with no means to care for themselves. After examine his clothes once again, it seem like material and texture would be hard to recreate but surely something similar to it was possible.
He was about to voice his opinion when a saw servant, no he mentally shake his head, a bar maiden was the correct term bring the some food over on a plate as well as bottle of wine. The bottle of wine reminded him that in a few hours he would have been sharing his first glass of wine with his new husband.
His mind soon forgot those images as Kail began his tale of his world. A place without magic, he tried to picture it in his mind, with no elves or any other race but humans. That part was fairly easy, but building so tall they reach the sky almost to where the Gods live, it was harder, add to the fact they were made out of glass, it was something his mind couldn't bring forth.
"Your world sounds wonderful. I would love to see it sometime if possible." He stated as a matter of fact. It was something out of the fairy tales his nanny told him when he was younger.
Smiling at Kail, knowing that he didn't have to offer her a bite of his food. "Thank you, Sir." Bowing her head toward him at the offer. He lifted his hand, with practice and grace place his right hand on the knife and the left on the fork, quickly removing his hands having forgotten his manners. "Please forgive me. I seem to have forgotten my manners. As the head of the table, you must have the first bite or drink before I may part take in the meal." He bowed his head toward him, knowing that sure he has shamed his house in the childish mistake. "I pray you shall forgive me for my mistake."
Zane knew better than to look up or lift his eyes until he was forgiven. If he mother was here, she would hit him for sure upon his mistake. As for his husband to have been he didn't know what he might have done. At least with this stranger who isn't from this world, a harsh punishment wasn't something to be expecting.

"Honestly, I don't know if you even can. So far its a one way thing.....I don't know if I could go back" said Kail as if that could happen. Then as he offered his food to the girl, she started to act weird on manners. This raised an eyebrow and knew this girl was now a noble. Either from here or a similar world. "Uhhhh miss, if your trying to fit in. Your sticking out like a sore thumb. So just chill out, do you want to say I'm a noble come and use me for a ransome" said Kail sarcasticly and starts to expertly carve up the chicken. He waves over a bar maid and asks for a smaller plates and two cups. She nods her head and runs off into the back. "So.....running away from home? What's the reason? Wanted to see the outside world? Parents too strict? Or my personal favorite, getting away from a forced marrage" he said. And takes a piece of the chicken and lays it on the small plate the maid had brought over. Then places a few pieces of the chicken on the plate and some of the vedgies.

Zane looked up at him, having not expected his response, he didn't let it show that he was expecting something different, but he was grateful. Lifting his head, his eyes still downcast, as he thought about the man's words and the context of it. Sadly he couldn't just 'chill out' as the man said, he would always be looking over his shoulder for the guards plus being trained as a perfect lady he couldn't just abandon what he been taught so easily.
He did try his best to relax but as soon as the following set of words left the man's mouth his face paled as all the blood drain from his body. If the others were paying attention to them, they would have swore that he just saw a ghost or his soul was ripped from his body and carried away into the heavens. His eyes darted around praying that no one overheard the man.
With shaking hands, he lifted the bottle of wine, pouring into the two cups. Shakily taking the cup he did he best to calm his nervous. A single tear rolled down in cheek landing in the cup forming ripples, as the waterfall of tears slowly followed in silents. "Please don't take me back there." His voice trembling as he pleaded softly.
He didn't know what his mother would do to him if he returned home now. He didn't want to think about it, knowing that ever she had plan would be worst that what he experience as a child. "Please don't tell anyone, Sir. Please."

"I must apologize for what I said. I'm not going to turn you in" said Kail as he saw the girl go pale and then cry. He sighed a bit and thought for a minute before speaking. "You see, before I was transported here to Nova. I was running away from home myself. My parents just wanted to leach off of me. Plus force me to become something I am not. I did not want to go into the medical field" he said and got up and took his cloak off and placed it on noble lady. Doing it to make the chances better for the girl to avoid her persuers.
"Look, I own a house with a few others out in the farmlands. Perhaps you can stay there a few days to shake them off. The last place any noble will try and look for one of there own is in the farmlands. This is just an offer, mind you" he said and then pondered a bit more on what this girl went through. And if the family was this bad.....perhaps he could test his luck to rob these Nobles. But he needed to build up his arsenal and tools before he tried to do any kind of theft of this nature.

Bowing his head to him, thankful that he decided to be merciful about, not turning him in. "Thank you," He slowly wiped the tears ways, his face power was already a mess from the tears and the kohl under his eyes smudging as his wipe his tears away more.
He nodded at the man's story, but he didn't understand why a man would run away from home. It seems normal to him for the parents to let him continue in the family business. Yes, more men took up a skill once they were old enough but not many ran away from home unless they were from a poor family. The stories of young ladies running away from home to be with the person they love rather than the person their parents has arranged for them to marry.
Getting lost in his thoughts, he soon felt a cloak place on him he looked up and saw the man standing up. "Thank you." Wiping his eyes more as fresh tears began to fall. "Are you sure it would be okay for me to stay for a few days? I don't have much money and you don't even know me. So why are you offering me a bed."
He wondered for a moment, those stories and rumors about young men offering young ladies a bed for the night. The young lady normally ended up shaming her family because of what happen, and would end up with child of the young man who no longer wanted her. He looked at the man wondering if he was like that, giving his head a mental shake he knew he couldn't be like that. He was fated, that means they must be some good inside of him after all. "Also sorry for my rudeness. My name is Yuki." He didn't feel safe disclosing his family's name with so many people here, in case they decided to report him to the guards.

Kail sits down again "No worries" he said and started to eat some of the chicken. He thinks over what this Yuki was asking and goes through his head for a response. "This world has not been kind to me. It killed my innocence, I had to kill something with my own hands and see its life go out in its eyes. Kindness is a rare thing, to give it back is also rare. I finally got my footing, so I want to return that feeling to someone else" he said and then took a sip of his wine before getting into some details in lue of payment.
"While your staying at the house. Your going to do some chores to earn your keep. Your mostly going to be doing sweeping and collecting some branches and wood for firewood. For right now for the winter. During the spring if your around your duties will be different. Also do not worry about doing any sexual acts. If I wanted to do something like that. I would go to a brothel. Even then my two other housemates are women. They would more then likely try and lop off my wood if I tried something like that" he said although Ilta and Shy were more then likely want to join in on that kind of fun. But that was a pipe dream for Kail.
"I'm Killian Lancaster, you can call me Kail if you like Yuki" he said and ate a new potato in the juices of the bird and the other tasty things.

Taking a small bite of the vegetables he listened to the story. It wasn't surprising that the world has been unkind to him, after all he was a fated. Not too, many people take kindly to them and one of the reasons he wanted to pretend to be fated at least it would get the guards to overlook him for a moment. He wondered if he knew how kindness is even more rare in the upper rings of society here, it was all backstabbing, secrets and even fake love in order to get to the point one has influence over the king.
Taking a bite of the chicken, it wasn't as bad as he was expecting it to be. His eyes widen at the thought of doing chores, looking at his hands they weren't meant for doing chores. He was a lady, and therefore chores weren't part of his daily life it was left up either his handmaidens or the servants. What would happen if he broke a nail or even his got hand hurt? Looking up at him, a little relieved to hear he didn't have to worry about doing any sexual act also that there were two other women living there.
"Um... Sir Kail." He paused for a moment wondering how to explain to him that he wasn't cut out for house work. "I never held a broom or even a mop before. Nor have I ever collect branches and wood for fire." He was sure they was some other way to he could help out, if the failed at those simple things. "I wasn't raises in a life style where I had to those things. I was raised to dance, read, and write. I even know how to play a lyre along with how to paint, recite poetry even how to arrange flowers to brighten up a home. Sadly cooking and cleaning not something that I ever done often."

"In most instances I would not be out there slaying a dragon. Or doing chores around the house like sweeping or cleaning my clothes. But I am not in my own world, and I have to work to eat. Just like anywhere in the world or reality. Life in general is not easy, I'll show you on the first day you have to do these chores" said Kail trying to make this easier for Yuki. But if she ran away she had to know that nothing was going to be easy. He ate a bit more and drank a bit more wine. "If we were intertaining guests regularly and those skills would work well with some of my own. But sadly we are not and I am not sure about the other two on the finer arts" he said and then contemplated on something in the spring.
"During the spring things will be a bit different as things will be growing again. While your staying with me, perhaps it will give you some time to think on your future. How are you going to make a living" he asked trying to make Yuki realize that she would need a game plan or some kind of path to walk on.

Zane nodded his head, it made sense, sadly he didn't even think about the fact that he needs money to buy food and that he needs to work to get money. He didn't even know if he could do this, maybe he should just go back home and get married like his mother wanted. Giving his head a mental shake, he couldn't be thinking like that if the fated people could handle not being they own world and finding a way to live that he could do it as well. "I'll try my best, with the chores."
He didn't know how well he would be able to handle doing chores. A world where he didn't have to entertain his husband's guest, how well would he be able to adapt to that world. He wasn't sure how long it would take before he was found out by someone else that he didn't belong to that world.
Taking a small sip of the wine, he didn't think about the future. "I guess saying marry a noble man is out of the question as a plan." He said as he thought about the fact that he did just run away from that future. He could try and go into the family business and become a merchant, but with no connection unless he used his family name and no goods to trade he really didn't have much for a future. "I don't know honestly. It's not like I have any skills that would help me earn money. I don't think you would support me living off your kindness for the rest of my years." Looking down at his hands, wondering what he should really do, becoming a merchant was really best option he could think about. "If you don't mind me asking, but pray tell what do you for a living?" Maybe it would give him some answers on what he could do to earn a living in this new world without servants.
